The Greatest Texture Pack Issue

IF YOU CAN DO ANYTHING AT ALL, ANYTHING TO HELP IT WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED.

I am writing this, probably really upset I cannot use the pack.
It's really not the same.
I don't know but the one staff I contacted said she couldn't do anything.

Whenever I log on, the occasional blur/lag happens.
Then I see black.
All the textures are black.
Disclaimer: I have tried everything on the resource pack help.

I think this happened because I was going to google chrome and I didn't press "Esc". I have roleplayed so much without this happening.
This has happened on another server (and for obvious reasons won't be named) that has a server texture pack. It was fixed and it happened again.
I really hope you smart people can figure this out because this is my favorite server and I'd hate to lose it.

Computer: iMac (21.5-inch, Mid 2010) Os Ex El Captain
Mouse (IDK): 2.4g optical wireless mouse Model D-09
(I was told this merely may be my computer, but I can't get a new one.. *wishing you could translate your yen on the server to real life so yo broke ass girl buys herself a new computer)

Ask me if you need further info- I've searched it up- I've tried most things I can:
I've tried:
-changing settings
-everything in the texture pack help
-changing versions

I mean you can tell me to do it again a different way? I'm lost and desperate for help. Please help me. <3

If you have a Discord, I'd advice to dm Ducks with the issue forward and you might be able to get a solution to the answer.

Also maybe if you put your settings to Prompt and not Enabled it would load the game... THEN ask you to download the pack.

So um. I’m probably a total retard (surprising right) and I reset my computer and it worked, I really don’t think that is what fixed it but I believe both of you are correct on this issue. Thank you both for putting your time and effort into helping I do appreciate it even if I solved it myself. (I also feel
