WHAT YOU NEED TO SUGGEST OR MENTION: To be honest, the influx of new players is immense. However, the huge number of people who don't know what they're doing we get annoys me greatly. Why?
The tutorial is suppose to be the place where basic mechanics are taught. However, the issues start when they are able to leave spawn whenever, and instantly warp into the world they don't know what to do in.
Honestly, this is not a very good thing, as people generally get confused, and start talking OOC things and ask things in the IC chat, and they don't know how to speak in LOOC because they didn't do the tutorial.
My proposal is simple. Make the Tutorial area completely unable for you to use /warp spawn, and disable OOC by default. Maybe make the tutorial more interactive such as adding the tutorial instructions via button for readable text on your screen instead of floating so it won't be an annoying way to read it. Maybe also dispense books or spawn books about the tutorial. At the end with a command block and a button, it triggers you to teleport to spawn, gives you the starter cash, your grade 8 rank (your default is no rank which can't see ooc or anything), the ability to speak, and you can return to the tutorial (a second instance) special message saying "when you are done recapping, type /warp spawn.
This second room is the same as the first, but reaching the end simply just warps you.
Also, when you warp to the spawn, after your welcome message is displayed, maybe have it say after for you only "Have fun! Make sure to read /rules, or the /faq for additional info about the server. Our website is http://www.schoolrp.net. You can find this link again by typing /website or visiting Grandpa Joe. Make sure to vote for our server if you like it by typing /vote for rewards." And other things such as namemc and discordverify. Discord. Grandpa Joe should have the link of the site in his interface too above the vote. Have him be a bit more useful for new players if they are "too lazy" to click or type
This should atleast help the actual confused and curious players out. Maybe tell them too, that names should always be Upper case at the beginnings.
