Describe your activity on the server:
I’d like to believe I’ve held a reputable track record on the matter of server activity, being an active member of the wider School Roleplay community for over 4 years, dating back to 2022, when I joined the server – only taking the occasional breaks when life required it. Frankly, a monumental reason to my activity is the need to be online as an active member of the HS Football Team, as well as leading my own Gang. I’ve been required to get online because of my commitments to the server, but because I genuinely enjoy logging on and interacting with people, old and new alike.
Specify your Discord username and if you have a microphone:
@twenietwenie
Yes, I do have a working microphone that I can use whenever required.
Specify your country of origin and time zone:
Country of Origin – England
Timezone – GMT/BST
What are your motivations in applying for the black-market dealer role?
Frankly, my motivation may not seem as fought for as the rest on the exterior, but I assure you it’s something I’ve been working to build over a good part of near enough three years of my time on the server. As most are aware, for near my entire time in the Crime and Gang Roleplay community, I have surrounded myself and orbitted Yakuza and Delinquent Roleplay – emphasis on Delinquent Roleplay, as it is what I've dedicated my time to since 2023.
I would like to make a world in which Delinquent Roleplay and the Black Market /can/ co-exist in a setting that is faithful to either community and sub-categories. I’ve not only been in several Delinquent/Bosozoku groups, but I have also led my own in recent time and have recently brought it back.
I believe Delinquent Roleplay holds some of the best opportunity for interactions, and whilst is the minority of the community, its reputation for a focus on a story-driven narrative, roleplay over all else and the prioritisation of new players makes it a clear stomping ground for experienced and inexperienced players alike. I would like to bring this sub-category of roleplay closer to the Black Market in a thought-out way – that is my motivation.
What helps you to stand out from other applicants & what can you uniquely provide to the team?
To the contrary of what most believe, often thinking my opinions are /outlandish/, I believe it’s what sets me out from the ‘obvious’ picks that everyone would generally lean towards. I would consider my perspective on the Crime and Gang Roleplay to be the defining trait that I can bring; a new mindset and a unique look at the community, as that is how said community grows and improves.
What previous experience do you have in working with a team?
Unrelated to Crime and Gang Roleplay, but back in late 2023 I was a part of the High School Male Football Team, which I would believe to seem self-explanatory, you need to be able to work as a team in different ways; try-outs, bonding and practice all comes into play. I later rejoined the team in 2026 – present time.
Relating to the faction at hand, I’ve worked in and alongside several Gangs who have truthfully flourished in roleplay. They will be stated below as well as a time-frame:
Rakkiyatsu – 2023
ZEROS – 2024
The Masahiko Family – Late 2024 - Early 2025
WHiTE KNUCKLE (now known as STARBOYS) - Mid 2025 - Present Time
Gangs that I have assisted and worked alongside from advice to events:
TSKAKIBARA – Led by Nylu - Event Collaberation
Man’en - Led by Artificial - Event Collaberation
Pink Panther – Led by Cyberwqve - Advice & Event Collaberation
From an OOC standpoint, I'm pushed to work in a team-oriented environment, as a student working towards the construction trade, team-work and communication is a vital part of the industry and I believe that reflects into my leadership capabilities on the server.
What suggestions do you have to help better the crime faction?
Something that I believe is detrimental to the declining popularity the faction had undergone, is the lack of overworld space left for Gangs to loiter around and push out the necessary server presence for its survival. Crime Roleplay as it isn’t /truly/ seen, and instead the server has been under the impression that the faction was simply rotting.
My suggestion is to, essentially, undergo a “Nook and Crannies” update. This is where the BM (Black Market Faction) and the Crime Lead work together to revamp the hidden areas of the map that are widely unused, instead repurposing them to suit the Crime Faction. For example, redo the alleyways to look more run-down, deserted, and infested by criminals. This means there will be areas on the map widely recognised for criminal activity, thus creating server presence for the faction.
Are you familiar with all rules pertaining to weapon profiles, combat, permissions, and player conduct on the server?
Admittedly, up until recently, where I had to do a double re-read of the Crime and Gang Roleplay rules. No, I wasn’t the most aware when it came to rolling combat, though this was purely because I lacked the recent experience in that default combative style, being a firm P2L-er for the last three years. However, I will catch up on whatever I must to meet the requirements of the rules.

Are you familiar with that if you leave the black market at any point, the black-market lead will have permanent kill permissions on your character?
Yes, I would like to state that I am aware of the risks if said character was to be accepted into the black-market, to someday leave, and I happily abide that rule. It brings a sense of immersion to the faction, proving that they aren’t a force to be toyed/reckoned with lightly.
Are you familiar with that if your character(s) is/are killed or permanently arrested twice, you will be removed from the black market?
Yes. I would like to state that I am aware of the risk that comes with being an active member of the black market. Everyday should be treated as a perilous attempt to not just survive, but flourish, and if you /unfortunately/ don’t make it, then removal is a fair case – however, I'd also argue that within proper reasons, and down to the narrative surrounding the deaths/arrests, leeway could be given; it is ultimately depenent on the player, and whether they talk to the Crime Lead about it.
Are you familiar with that you cannot reveal any out-of-character plans or potential addition to the black market to others?
Absolutely. Out-of-character initial concepts and plans should remain unheard of by the public, as to provide the Black-Market Dealers and the Crime Lead the time necessary to work on and improve on these ideas without backlash and constant community opinion; some things just have to be left in the hands of the Lead and the BMD.

In-Character (IC) Section
Full Legal Name:
[!] Flickering lights illuminated the rather empty Auto Shop, casting a dim lighting over the figure. An open garage door boasted a frighteningly strong smell of burning tobacco, clearly a few cigarettes had been lit in the recent two hours. A long line of smoke rolled up into the air, and out the overhead door, forcing the man’s nose to scrunch. He tweaked the lit cigarette between his index, sparks hurling to the floor – dead remnants of yet another unhealthy addiction. The opposing man was met with silence, the foreboding kind which ironically couldn’t be anticipated, finally broken by the barrage of questions – no greeting, just straight to business, exactly how he prefers it. [!]
“If you don’t already know who I am, then you’re as good as irrelevant, but shit, I’ll entertain you.”
[!] A pause broke out. [!]
“It’s Ani Matsumoto, ex-delinquent, former leader of the Bosozoku, White Knuckle, and current legacy to the new generation.”
[!] Well, it was quite the reputation that defined Matsumoto, but that wouldn’t do him any good here, or maybe it was perfect, as if an orchestra suited for him alone. [!]
Criminal Alias:
[!] Ani Matsumoto tossed the cigarette aside, scrunching it down against the sole of his rugged shoe. His movement shifting as he leant back, sitting against the hood of the car, parked lazily in the Auto Shop. The dim light emphasised his menacing expression, the knit brows, his clenched jaw, narrow eyes that blinked occasionally. His lips thinned and his posture slumped, elbows coming to rest against his knees, the tilt of his head finishing the look. [!]
“. .’n alias? Nah, I don’t do that cheap shit, it’s just Ani. If people are gonna know me? It'll be by /my/ name.”
Age & Occupation: (Note: if you become a black market dealer, you will be permitted the Adult role)
[!] Matsumoto’s head lugged to the side, casting a judgemental stare – what did it matter to them for? Nonetheless, the man leaned back against the hood of his car, a brow quirking. [!]
“I’m 24. I dropped outta’ College, got myself entirely involved in Bosozoku ‘n shit, that was my thing. Maybe this will be to, we’ll see.”
Gender & Marital Status:
[!] The so-called drop-out pushed up off the vehicle’s hood, his brows knitting in an initial response, later followed by the scrunching of his facial features. [!}
“I’m clearly a guy. .’ccording to the last time I checked at-least.”
[!] He snickered, a bleak gesture. [!}
“Listen here, I don’t give a rats ass who you /think/ you are, don’t ask me about my private life again.”
[!] The man lolled his head from side-to-side, shaking it in mild disapproval. He settled backwards, finding his resting space on the hood of the BMW that sat in the Auto Shop parking space, the flickering light illuminating against his features once more. [!]
Ethnicity & Race:
[!] Ani Matsumoto’s brows lifted, and his eyes narrowed. The man dropped a hand to his pocket, taking out an opened pack of cigarettes – the very ones he’d been indulging in for the last few hours. A drag ensued. [!]
“I’m Japanese, aint that obvious?”
Known Languages:
[!] Ani Matsumoto, the pro-claimed prodigy off the Bosozoku, seemed to have a /lot/ of attitude for a leader; it was a trait that followed him no matter which lions den he stomped into. Now was no different. [!]
“. .So, if I’m Japanese, put two ‘n two together, you fucking dingus.”
Former Associations/Occupations:
[!] An inhale broke the silence, his chest rising once as the question came along. His free-hand lifting up to massage his jaw; was his occupations common knowledge to them? As someone who was taught to keep the matters confidential, he instead decided to take the risk: [!]
“Alright. You wanna know ‘bout what I’ve been up to, eh?- C’mon, we all know thats what your looking to scrounge up.”
[!] A pause. [!]
“I came to town at sixteen, ‘n got involved with the wrong people, or at least, some would think so. Next thing y’know, I was serving under some Yakuza – the Masahiko Family.”
[!] Ani Matsumoto’s voice was belittled by silence, his words hitching up and swallowed down. His head lolling to the concrete floor’s direction before rising back up. [!]
“I was with them till I turned eighteen. I did some. . /Shit/ things.”
[!] Shit things? That might just be the understatement of the century. [!]
“. .Anyway, when I ended up leavin’, somehow, and came back with my own Bosozoku, you wanna know who I am? Search up the Town Hall car crash, that was /me/, that was MY doing.”
Highest Level of Education:
[!] His coat creased, posture hunching in an abrupt manner, his head lugging back slightly, his features contorting. A bleak shake of his head ensued. [!]
“Ain’t you listenin’, I already told you, I dropped out’ve education. Get your head out the gutter and pay attention.”
[!] It seems, that is all the individual got out of Ani Matsumoto. [!]
Physical/Mental Ailments: (If inapplicable, put N/A)
[!] Ani Matsumoto’s head turned briefly, his tongue lining his back teeth. It wasn’t as if the man was pissed, but more-so reminscent on past times far gone, and a sharp reminder of the event’s he par-took in to get where he is today; of course it left some sort of ailments left behind, both physical and mental – you don’t come out of the Yakuza unscarred. Matsumoto’s missing pinky was proof of that. [!]
“Yeah, I do.”
[!] He dropped a hand, unzipping his coat in a singular motion, and pulling his shirt up, revealing two wounds overlapping eachother, almost creating an ‘X’. [!]
“One of em I got on the first day of the job, jumpin’ in for my Wakagashira – Akiyama. . The other one, durin’ a brawl with Von Moltke’s shitass Immertreu.”
[!] Ani Matsumoto let the shirt fall back into place over his torso – he didn’t speak on any mental ailments; that wasn’t something he’d yet to confront himself. [!]
Known Family Members: (If inapplicable, put N/A)
[!] The man took the cigarette from between his lips, which had been sat rotting in flames for a few passing-by moments. He took a final drag, before tossing it to the ground alongside the last one, stomping it out. [!]
“No. None left livin’, at least.”
Describe your character's appearance to the greatest detail:
Ani Matsumoto could only be described within one word – unkempt. His punkish strands of ash-blonde hair framed his features, his eyes narrow. Much like his expressions, his style complimented his rugged exterior. He often wore baggy clothing, believing it a perception-warping tactic that could quite literally change the game; it was to make himself seem bigger than he was, and brought along a far more intimidating, unapproachable demeanor.
Describe your character's personality to the greatest detail:
Again, to sum Ani Matsumoto up within a singular word; he was explosive – much like a stick of dnyamite, the man was a ticking-time bomb, simply waiting for someone to light the fuse that was his patience; which he lacked. Matsumoto was a rather blunt man, his voice sharp and he often used that overarching presence to remain in control of whatever situation he met, but he was prone to implode. Some might say it was the average norm of a delinquent.
Describe your character's backstory to the greatest detail: (200+ words minimum)
[!] A whistling screech flew by, engines preaching their war-cries, the conversation happening meters way unbeknownst to them. His hand lifted from his pocket, itching his clenched jaw, tongue lining the back of his teeth. An unwilling expression plastered his features. [!]
"You don’t need to know allat, I'm here, that’s all that matters now.”
[!] A brief statement was all that awaited the man, his eyes dropping to the cold ground, a dead remnant of the cigarette smoked prior rested beside the grit ‘n grime of the cold concrete, his brows knitting. [!]
[I have left it rather short, despite the minimum 200-word count, as since the characters creation back in 2025, I have opted to keep everything about his backstory entirely in-character, meaning it will only be revealed through real in-time interaction and roleplay. If the backstory is direly needed upon acceptation, I am willing to DM it to the crime lead - however I would like to give nobody a means to metagame something i'd prefer to remain in-character.]
Describe an interaction that your character may have as a black market dealer: (This can be anything — a weapon deal, an event they may be involved in, or maybe an interaction with a gang)
[DISCLAIMER; THIS IS AN EVENT IDEA MADE FOR THE PROWLER BUSINESS]
A : CAPTURE THE FLAG /// PROWLER-RAN EVENT
Every 3 months, the PROWLER sub-faction hosts an application-locked event for a tournament known as CAPTURE THE FLAG. The premise is that it’s a team-based bracket system were the line between strategy and recklessness can make or break you. Victory and defeat are a blurred vision, only properly seen under a clear premeditated move. PROWLER’S playing field – the sewers. There will be a designated point A and point B. You hold a team of 5, where you must plan your defence, as well as your offense. A minimum of one must remain at HQ, where they will act as the last line of defence, protecting your team's flag in the scenario where the opposing team makes a play for your flag. You win by capturing and returning the opposing team's flag to HQ, or if four of your five are incapacitated. Each team will be granted one bat, and one wrench only. The combat style for this would be detailed rolling when in active combat.
This event would utilise the wider sewer-system.
