I am currently very active on SRP again, playing for about 3 to 6 hours a day. Due to my job with irregular shifts, I am online at various times morning, afternoon, or evening.
My overall activity on SRP is quite diverse, having played since 2018, I’ve experienced a lot. For instance, I’ve been part of most sports teams and engaged in extensive roleplay within them. I’ve also worked in the shop faction, roleplaying as a manager for various shops as well as a regular employee. Additionally, I’ve worked as a teacher and professor, roles that also provided me with plenty of experiences. I recently returned from a break and want to explore new things one possibility being opening my own shop.
Do you acknowledge that if you are inactive you will be demoted?:
Yes, of course.

What shop are you applying for?:
(Okinasa)
Shop Name:
Instead of Okinasa, I would like to change the name to VALKUMO "Goods from Beyond the Seas" Brought to you by Bjoke the Viking. This is because it fits better with my unique idea, which I will explain later!
Why do you want to become a Shopkeeper?
The shop faction has been a big part of my SRP experience For a long time. Ive always been busy with working in different stores and lately I went from working to managing stores. I had the great opportunity to manage for Hanakotoba, Yona-Yona, and Henki-Do. This gave me even more pleasure in the shop faction. It also gave me some experience of what it is like to run a shop. This motivated me more and more to become a Shopkeeper.
What also motivated me is the interaction that shops and players have. Shops are a place where people can meet each other. Whether it is to buy or to meet new people. This is exactly what i want to create a place where people can meet each other, share their ideas or buy new stuff that can help them in their daily life. Seeing stores that are the talking point of the city is something i really enjoyed and hope to create myself, this time as a Shop Keeper.
Managing these stores has shown me how important it is to give new things to people. This can be new items, a new theme or a new experience through events. As a shopkeeper I get the chance to create this too, something I find super exciting and see as an extremely fun challenge.
However, it can also be difficult to be a shopkeeper. You have the responsibility to make the store run smoothly. This is often by getting new items, creating new experiences and actively opening. However, I am ready for this challenge with the experience I have built up over the past years and the tricks I have learned from other shopkeepers I think I am ready to start my own Shop.
What do you plan to do with your shop, and what makes it unique?:
Valkumo is a medieval convience store with a modern twist bringing the idea of an everyday convience store into a fansty world. Inspired by the slogan "Goods from Beyond the Seas," Valkumo offers a carefully selected variety of products that blend medieval traditions with convenience, making it the perfect place for both daily essentials and unique treasures.
One of Valkumo's main attractions is its bakery, where customers can purchase freshly baked breads, pastries, pies, cookies, and seasonal sweets inspired by medieval recipes, reimagined for everyday enjoyment. Alongside the bakery, the store stocks pantry essentials such as flour, herbs, spices, dried fruits, preserves, cheeses, teas, and other imported delicacies that cannot easily be found elsewhere.
However Valkumo is much more than a food store. Customers can browse a wide selection of medieval themed merchandise, including handcrafted toys, plush mascots, decorative furniture such as barrels, crates, treasure chests, shelves, lanterns, baskets, pottery, and other household decorations that help bring warmth and character to any home. Seasonal collections and limited edition items ensure there is always something new waiting on the shelves.
The face of the store is Bjoke the Viking, Valkumo's cheerful mascot and merchant. Rather than a fierce warrior, Bjoke is a friendly trader known for traveling far and wide to discover interesting products and recipes to share with the people of the kingdom. His welcoming personality and passion for quality goods make every visit to Valkumo feel personal and memorable.
What truly makes Valkumo unique is that it isn't simply a bakery, furniture shop, or general store it combines all of these into one convenient destination. Just as a modern convenience store offers a little bit of everything, Valkumo does the same through a medieval lens. Whether customers are stopping by for a fresh loaf of bread, a decorative treasure chest, a plush mascot, a thoughtful gift, or a seasonal specialty, Valkumo aims to become the kingdom's go to shop for everyday shopping with a charming medieval twist.
Store Events
Harvest Festival
Bjoke the Viking has returned with a fantastic harvest haul, giving the shop a festive, seasonal look with pumpkins, crates, and other harvest themed decor scattered throughout. Mini games such as a hay bale stacking contest, pumpkin carving, and more will be held, offering participants the chance to win various harvest themed rewards.
Viking Raid
Our shop is temporarily transforming into a Viking dungeon, featuring mini game challenges where visitors can earn tokens. Once all five tokens are collected, they can be redeemed for a unique discount on the customer's next order.

What will you sell in your shop?
Valkumo is designed as a medieval convenience store, offering a wide range of everyday goods with a medieval twist. Rather than specializing in one category, Valkumo combines several departments under one roof, allowing customers to find everything they need in a single visit.
Valkumo Bakery
Our signature bakery offers freshly baked breads, pastries, pies, cookies, cakes, breakfast packages, and seasonal treats inspired by medieval recipes.
Groceries
Customers can purchase daily essentials including flour, herbs, eggs, cheeses, fruits, teas, and other imported food products from across the realm.
Merchandise & Collectibles

Our home section offers medieval inspired decorations and furniture, including barrels, treasure chests, crates, baskets, pottery, chairs and other household decorations to bring a cozy medieval atmosphere into any home.
Exclusive Customs
One of Valkumo's biggest strengths is its large collection of unique custom items. I already own a significant number of medieval themed customs that perfectly fit the concept (see the images below). In addition, I have the support of Henki do for creating unique custom items specifically for Valkumo, as well as support from Dongmoon, who has kindly offered to help provide additional customs for the store. This allows Valkumo to continuously expand its inventory with original, high quality items that cannot be found elsewhere.

Given Name(s): Nora
Preferred Name: Elinora
Age: 64
Gender: Female

Marital Status: Widowed
Nationality: Norwegian

Background:
Elinora Voss is an old sailor and former ship merchant who spent most of her life traveling across seas in search of rare goods, forgotten recipes, and stories from distant lands. She was once known as "The Silver Compass" among sailors, a woman who could navigate through storms that many believed impossible to survive.
During her travels, Elinora met Bjoke the Viking, long before Valkumo became what it is today. She saw the same curiosity and determination in him that she once had herself, and became one of the few people who encouraged him to follow his dream of creating a place where people could discover goods from across the world.
Although age has slowed her down, Elinora's heart still belongs to the sea. She carries many scars from her journeys, both physical and emotional, but refuses to let her past define her.
