A Video Tape! The beginning would slowly click on.. A video tape in 2026!?
Some mumbling could be heard from behind the camera, an older man - One who sounded insanely annoyed at the moment.

Jai Kei could be seen at least .. Oh what a pretty soul, a little messed up looking I suppose. Posed up at a generic desk.
image_2026-02-21_143308574.png

The questions were read by said older man.
" What is your name? "

"My name is Jai Kei." The younger man; the one on screen, would tap his lip a few times, uneasily adlibbing the previous comment. "Even if said otherwise.."

A sigh would be heard, along with the shuffling of cards.
" What is your age and grade? "

"Twenty-one, getting my Masters in College." Pausing to scratch at his arms for a moment, he'd purse his lips as if hesitating; finally speaking after a few gazes to the cameraman. "I've been studying Architecture while here, in case that helps at all..?"

A few snickers from the older man could be heard; most definitely at the mess he's bothering to try and help, stumbling to read the next question once Jai Kei pointed in a random direction .. What could he possibly be pointing at?

" What is your motivation to lead a club within the school? " (250+ words)

After a deep breath, the Kei would begin rambling, fixing his gaze towards the camera while the uneasy attitude he had left.
"There’s a couple of reasons; though the start of it is centered around recognition, I’ve been recognized by countless people for the things I’m passionate for and it’s always been the best feeling, volleyball’s the main one, but it feels a lot better with my architectural work- mostly interior design." The male clapped his hands together, interlocking his fingers as he spoke. "Despite this, I’ve come across countless talented people who never get the chance to showcase their work like others do; if you aren’t ALREADY popular- or you just don’t make it your whole personality, not a SOUL will see it. So whether just for a hobby or if it’s their line of work, I want to create a way for more students to put their work on display." Disconnecting his hands, he'd cross one leg over the other, moving a hand to his neck to begin gently scratching it. "It’s more than that though, since the heart of clubs are the community that surrounds it, duh.. Whenever I was learning volleyball, I met countless great people just through getting taught by people; and later down the line, I met some great people just by choosing to teach others what I know, we all teach each other, even when we’re rivals." Raising both his hands, he'd face his palms to the ceiling while he shook his head. "I can’t say I see the same thing happening within this line of work; it’s all very closed off! I’m basically just trying to change that." Leaning forward, he'd ball up one of his hands, tossing fingers up while he listed his plans. "Seeing everybody’s different styles, giving your help when it’s requested, getting help when it’s requested; whether someone’s been interested for a week or for their whole life, I want them to be able to find people with the same loves." Closing his hand, he'd point behind him with his thumb, raising both his eyebrows as he did so. "It’d be a good way for these people to interact outside of the club too, with a whole club of people dedicated to decorations it’s pretty easy to see the potential to help the other clubs, no?" Putting his hands on the sides of his neck, he'd lean forward, propping himself up on the desk while he offered the camera a small smile.. For some reason. "Giving the other clubs a go-to if they ever want some decor or work done somewhere, and giving the members a way to meet new people and showcase their talents; I love the idea of it all, so why not try to accomplish it? So if we’re looking for a TL;DR or a summary; I’d love to see the school have a personal workshop group, to give those individuals a stage for their talents and others an easier way to find those with such talents- if you help another you help yourself in the end, you know? I want to make that image a reality."

Shuffling the cards around once again, a small comment could barely be heard: "Do I get paid..?" the response given was a simple glare, followed by a sigh from the poor old old man before he read his question.

" Why choose you over other candidates applying for this position? " (50+ words)

"Well I’m known!" Flashing his pearly whites, "Jai Kei is a name people are sometimes aware of, just don’t ask them the reasons behind it I guess.." Cartoonishly gulping before he continued speaking, clearly exaggerating it on purpose.. "Either way I do manage to be pretty social compared to a lot of people in the city, and I always go out of my way to ensure comfort in the people around me- and if I fail to do so I’m always willing to make up for it." Rubbing his scarred cheek for a second, his attitude would tone back down to initial calmer demeanor. "I’ve been a part of a couple different groups, SIMILAR to clubs, so I have a general understanding of how to communicate and plan out these things.. Besides, I like to think I’m very talented in what I do- and I got some incredibly talented people ready to do this thing with me; I’ve been told I’m a pretty good teacher. If we need somebody to make a community and make some talent, then I think I got it.."

Ending his mock interview with a small smile, a few glances would be given to the man behind the camera - before Jai Kei's expression slowly got annoyed, deciding to remove the previous comment's status as a finisher "Turn it off."

What is the official title of your club?

Architecture Club

Provide a small summary of your club (75 words)

The club would mostly be focused on displaying and improving each other's builds both interior and exterior; and helping people be recognized for what they can do. The more IC elements would be centered around helping other clubs with decorations, and trying to build more of a community around architecture instead of it almost being strictly an OOC interest; especially with the introduction of Builders having the Architect tag it gives more of a set career path in-character.

Please gather five student members for your club and list their character names and usernames

Yamazaki Oda | Kusariigama
Diana Montgomery | LuxidDream
Seiichi Tonghyon | 54241
Kotaro Hamasaki | Ko_Hoshi18
Syn Sato | Beeesie

Directors
Yamazaki Oda [ Kusariigama ] & Diana Montgomery [ LuxidDream ] Specifically

With a lot of the club being centered around building; specifically collaborating with other clubs for their events/decorations, it's incredibly important to follow the regulations. Acting as Vice-President, these members would be assigned to helping observe members as we decorate and keep the group on theme with what was given, along with ensuring they're in both OOC and IC guidelines while doing so.

✧ Members

Members.

✧ Trial-Members

Newer members who still need to adjust to how everything's done, obviously still participating in the inside aspects such as showcasing their work during meetings and general discussions but only brought to do decorating to observe.

Do you have a student councilor to supervise and assist your club?

No supervisor, gonna need one.

Will there be any requirements of future members to join your club?

- Attend at least one meeting per OOC month.
- Be active on your club member, beyond meetings and events etc.
- Be Grade-10 or above.
- Have some sort of portfolio set-up in some way, and keep it updated as you progress.
- Build often(ish), at least show a want to improve or interest in it.

Provide one school-wide event that your club may host

✧ "Architect Internships: Is that safe?"

"No, it's not."

With trying to merge building into an IC setting as well with the club, it'd be fun to find a way to drag the build-team into it especially since they were recently given Architect tags, despite not technically being a faction from what I know.

Choosing a few of the members within the club, and opening up applications to the school if allowed to. The internship would be more so focused on the Architects giving a rundown to the interns on how their job goes; the processes in city planning, how they work together, a more behind the scenes view on how they do their job. [Yes this is heavily reliant on the build team's involvement, but it gives a chance for Architect characters to have some more to do if they so wish.]

- Feedback

While under the internships, interns could be tasked with hosting polls or interviewing people across the city to figure out how they feel about certain changes made in the city, or which changes are requested the most within the city. Returning to the Architects with the feedback to discuss it and see what the professionals think of the recommendations in general; the people usually don't get an update on what's happening with the city until the last minute, why not introduce a little transparency after?

- Disaster Response

IF there's another instance of KPD shoving everybody into the sewers; for some reason, and they happen to collapse, shouldn't the students know what to do? Niyuki Fujimori was at the scene, maybe they will one day.

Taking a moment to look at the previous incident, possibly having a member from KPD or EMS tag along to discuss the situation as well; the Architects could go over how they'd handle the scene, but more importantly how to avoid the scene entirely. A small class to ensure the students know everything about making a safe structure, and also check if they know not to shove a group of 50 people into an abandoned train station maybe. When a disaster occurs it's important for the entire city to learn from it, especially the people putting that city together.

- Shop Inspection Observations

A small team-up with a Governor possibly.

If given the greenlight, a small group of interns could show up with either a Governor or Architect so they can observe how an official or unofficial shop inspection will go down. After constant harassment from the School Councillors a few of the team-members might be used to it anyway. The interns tagging along could decide to silently view the inspection, taking their notes on how it'd be done professionally and efficiently; or they could throw in their own two-cents to see if they can be the reason a random Shopkeeper gets sued that day.

Provide one flash event that your club may host

✧ "The Great Fake IKEA Architecture Club Competition"

"Naming is not our strong suit."

Just a small way to get the people involved, and since we can't exactly give 80 random people the ability to build whatever why not have them judge?
Having a few members volunteer, we'd set up a few rooms as if it was an IKEA display inside of the gymnasium or track or any other free space, and have each one of them make a room in accordance with a given theme. The school would be invited to watch them do this live, or come in just for the voting if they so wish, in which after the time limit is reached they'd put in a vote for their favorite and second favorite rooms for each round if multiple are done. Once all rounds are over and all votes are submitted, the top 3 contestants would receive their rewards, obviously.

Extra flash event [indecisiveness]

✧ "We'd call it Wipeout but we'd get sued."

"I don't even think this is legal anyway.."

Architecture has it's place in obstacle course creation and we should abuse that more often.
Similar to what's done previously by other groups, a small obstacle course made in either the ocean or in the school would be set-up, where each volunteering member will build a small section of it and the next member would have to chain off of this, until we find an end to it. Once this is done, people will be allowed to go through it in an attempt to complete it, just to ensure this event lasts longer than 10 minutes we WILL be trying to make it as hard as possible.

While setting the course up, members will be tasked with a theme, whether wipeout or a mock 'Save The Princess' game, the course will need to fit the aesthetic while still being fun and difficult; in some themes, members will be given a sub-theme that they have to base their section off of, the previous member will know this theme just so they can possibly make it easier for their 'co-worker' to build into this idea. When in their lives will they ever need to build an obstacle course? Like never, it's just for the fun of it.

POSSIBLE THEMES:
Castle 'Save The Princess' [The Princess is a Jai Kei Plushie, obviously. I bought it I'm spamming it.]
Wipeout [Generic.]
Scaffolding [A Fake Building in construction to be used as a course.]
Getting Over It [Players will not be given a Cauldron or an Axe.] [The theme is absurdism.] [This will most likely not be done.] [Thank you.]

SUB-THEMES:
Castle: Grand Entrance
Castle: Fake Evil Lava Pit
[Foam Squares from Sky zone.]
Castle: The Boss! [Featuring a cutout of a copyright free large turtle.]

That's the best I got.

The first ten to complete the course would be reward with a random prize, most likely Jai Kei's copyrighted plushie of himself.

note: We will have defense lawyer Drahos Ivankov on stand-by for those who have any issues with what we are doing, he will be equipped with a paper shredder.

Provide one club activity that your club might host

✧ "#Renovations!"

"Free labor, take it."

Going with the idea of the club being a go-to group for decor, every now and then a partnership with another club could be built where two or three max members from the Architecture club get sent out to the club room to work with their members to remodel and decorate their club room in a new fashionable coat of paint. This would be done free of charge, and entirely be for interaction between the clubs and benefit for those who want it; in other words Jai will not pay his 'employees'.

note: Once the club room is done, a free Jai Kei plushie will be set inside of it in order to mark it as a creation of the club, if it removed Jai Kei will get violent.

[IC]; School Decoration Assistance

"Sadly with the whole.. legality thing, and the whole theme around the club, outside events are NOT our strong suit! Luckily we could always sideline ourselves for the whole behind the scenes action. Whenever another club or faculty (School People in general I suppose!?) want some decor that's where we'd wanna be, not only does it support some bonding between groups but it'll take some work load off their shoulders, all they'll need to do is supervise and make sure we're doing what they'll need. Besides, not only does it give us a chance to shine but it gives some of those outsider architects less of a work load.. Give them some extra time to hopefully work on the pier, that'd be great guys, thanks."

[OOC]; School Decoration Assistance

A big issue I've found while planning the club out has been that a lot of it seems like it'd be very OOC reliant, specifically the creative server. The idea of having the club collaborate with the other clubs in order to set up their events or decor whenever needed is the main way I see it trying into IC well, though for events it'd most likely require more moderation since the club would be acting as a mini build-team for certain club activities.

I feel like that's the biggest flaw with the club idea, so I did want to acknowledge it again.
