Describe your activity on the server:
I’m quite active on the server, playing almost every day particularly during evenings and weekends. I am consistently involved in roleplay and regularly interact with both government and shop-based roleplay (Pinkumo). I would also be assisted by another player who is also very active, Hansel’s in-game husband, Valdemar Desmond (IGN: Galeiboef)

What is the name of your business?:
Desmond-Karakuran Cultural Society

In a paragraph or more, please describe what your business does:
The Desmond-Karakuran Cultural Society is a non-profit cultural foundation dedicated to preserving and showcasing Karakura’s historical and artistic heritage. It would be located within the Karakuran Business Tower, providing a central space suitable for cultural and intellectual events.

Physically speaking, the “ground floor” would function primarily as a museum space, displaying Karakuran-oriented historical artifacts, culturally relevant objects, and artistic works. Alongside permanent displays, the Society would host rotating temporary exhibitions. These could include curated player artwork, themed historical collections, or limited-time showcases from shopkeepers or other factions wishing to present culturally significant items.

If possible build-wise, the upper level would serve as a dedicated event space. This would allow the Society to host intellectual evenings, seasonal galas and private receptions without disrupting the museum layout below. Guided tours would also be offered during scheduled opening-times to provide context and encourage interaction rather than leaving the displays static. Though there also would be open-museum moments for those just wishing to view the collection without explanation.

The architectural inspiration would follow the atmosphere of the Natural History Museum in Brussels, with subtle Victor Horta influences to give the building a distinguished and historically grounded aesthetic.

Is your business non-profit or for-profit?:
Non-profit.

Any income which would be gotten by selling guided tours or openings would be used to cover event-related expenses, staff roles such as tour guides or event managers, and expansion of the collection. We wish to be able to sustain the Foundation rathe than profit from it.

What is your business’s mission statement?:
The Desmonds want to build this foundation to thank Karakura, a place they have now been calling their home for quite a while. A place they have learned to love and live in.

The mission of the Desmond-Karakuran Cultural Society is to preserve Karakura’s legacy. This while providing a refined space for cultural engagement. Through exhibitions and intellectual events such as a book reading or a speech by a famous historian, the Society aims to strengthen appreciation for the city’s history and artistic expression while fostering unity across different groups within Karakura.

What do you plan to accomplish with your business?:
In the long term the goal is for the Society to become a cultural landmark within Karakura. It would provide players with opportunities to showcase their creative work, participate in intellectual discussions and attend refined community events. By integrating elements of government, education, and community participation it is the aim of the Society to bring several groups of people from within the community together, without having to ask staff to run or create it (such as a museum).

Specify one event your business would host/take part in on the server:
A Seasonal Cultural Gala. This formal event would feature the unveiling of a new exhibition, speeches, and structured social interaction in the upper-level event space. It would serve as a recurring highlight for the Society while encouraging community engagement in a cultural setting. People could come dressed in-theme whenever possible, for example a spring event, Halloween-themed event or end-of-year event.

Do you understand that your business may lose its verified status if not kept active?:
Yes.

Do you have any additional comments?:
I understand the responsibility that comes with verified status and am prepared to maintain consistent activity both in-game and on Discord. The fact that we will have at least two people supporting and maintaining the project will only strengthen its endurance.

I’m also aware that putting too many furniture items together might become a lag-haven. It is therefore that we limit the floor-usage for the pure museum function to only half of a business tower level. We would also rotate the collection often to keep people interested.
