In what appeared to be a straight, serious and perhaps even intimidating woman, a waterfall of secret and forbidden feelings and emotions hid deep inside Valkyrie's mind. Insistent, but yet easy-to-remove thorns are what hold Valkyrie's countless layers together, and stop her from being who she truly is in front of strangers; a mostly goofy, loosened girl who often assumes the role of a shoulder to cry on. Anger issues haunt the girl who always tries to remain calm and collective in front of her friends, but who also could be turned into a monster when no one else is looking, depending on how aggravating the situation is. In a relationship, this type of behaviour can, and often is, devastating, leading to toxicity and complications.
As cliche as it sounds, Valkyrie is a caring friend, who would do anything to protect her loved ones, but, on the other hand, also someone who holds on to grudges for a long time; and someone who won't tell you what she's feeling. Her irrational feeling of expecting everyone to figure out what's wrong has ruined many relationships, along with selfishness and excessive pride. At the same time, few are the ones who know Valkyrie's hidden feeling of clinginess and neediness; someone who is supposed to be tough would never admit this side to anyone - except those who were lucky (or unlucky) to find it out. A very close and hard-to-read person indeed.

- BLACKJACK (consequently, gambling). An addiction acquired from her father. Gambling addiction is almost a heritage in the Kawahara family. A practice that would be taught by grandfathers to their sons, by fathers to their own children.

Valkyrie Ek stands at about 5'7. She didn't seem to have an accent - or at least, not a very noticeable one. However, her physical features certainly indicate that the girl is not, indeed, from a Japanese familiar line. Her pair of eyes match the color of her brown locks. She carries the subtle scent of cocoa. A few freckles make up the smooth skin of her face, splitted across her cheeks.
Despite some of the features that one could consider delicate, Valkyrie was obviously quite away from that spectrum, or maybe even state of spirit. Those eyes of hers expressed her seriousness and constant neutrality, as if nothing could ever shake her composure and decorum. That black-and-red short waterfall of hair contemplated the sides of her head, perfectly framing her face.

"I know! I really do. Give him some time, he's a little pissed at you-know-what...", she says, before the silence takes over the room, only for a moment. The two could almost feel the house trembling everytime he punched the walls downstairs. "... I really wish I could do something, Valkie. You know I do."
Kazuo Kawahara Ek | Father [Alive]
He watches as she stands up and turns her back to leave the room. Kazuo stands up as well, looking at her through the window as she walks out the door. "Will you visit me next week? We could tell jokes to each other... or maybe play blackjack? You know I'm a blackjack pro", he says, the little hope he still had being spent on those last words. She turns her head over her shoulder to look at his face. Those teary, feminine eyes would say everything Kazuo needed to hear. Without saying a word, Valkyrie leaves. As soon as she goes through the door, Kazuo is escorted back to his cell by two correctional officers.

"You see...", she takes a brief pause to sigh. "... It's better if you stay there, hm? You have your friends, you've established yourself there and all that. You have no reason to come back. Everything is fine here, I promise. I know, Valkyrie, that you don't want to come back."

Valkyrie has saved Isla's life many times, as well as she has had her life saved by the other. She assumes the supportive role, and constantly looks over Isla to make sure she is safe, sometimes becoming quite possessive and overly-concerned over the girl.

Valkyrie's relationship with Fleur is probably one of her most secretive... secrets. Guilt and shame is one of the main forces that keep their relationship going. Based on a set of rules that cannot be broken, Fleur and Valkyrie's relationship is supported by a very fragile balance.

"Valkyrie, put the weapon DOWN! We don't wanna fight you. Let's calm down and talk this out, alright?"
Two people who belonged to opposite forces end up being friends. It was impossible not to let personal interests get in the way of them, so fights were also almost impossible to prevent. At the same time, the two were good friends when not wearing opposite attires. However, they both knew it was only a matter of time until life felt the urge to break them apart; Valkyrie felt her heart tightening as soon as she heard the knews of Kournikova's death.
Ryuji T. Wakabayashi | Frenemy [Missing]
"Maybe you forgot who saved your life, and that if it wasn't for me, you would be fucking dead."
There will never ever be a more awkward relationship than Valkyrie and Ryuji's. The forever-rising tensions wouldn't stop the two from helping each other whenever one was in danger. Although those same tensions decreased eventually, it's still impossible to ignore it when the two are together in a same room. Despite the awkwardness and obvious rivalry, Valkyrie has had her life saved by Ryuji before, and she is, although never admitting it, thankful. some tsundere kind of shit
Asher Masanori Monet | Friend [Missing]

Asher is Valkyrie's former-underling and current boss. Back when the woman was the leader of one of the greatest gangs in Karakura, Asher was one of the gang's best and most specialized men, proving himself to be corageous and tough multiple times. Eventually, Asher made his way up Kaku-Kai's hierarchy and became one of the most powerful higher-ups within the gang. When Kaku-Kai fell and Valkyrie disappeared, however, he was the one responsible for Adobansu's rise, the gang that would come to be the reason of Valkyrie's eventual return.
Esme Masanori Monet | Friend [Alive]
Esme Masanori, Asher's dearest sister. The relationship between Valkyrie and Esme has never reached lines beyond what's considered professional and cordial. Despite the limited interactions, Esme is well aware of Valkyrie's shift in personality after she came back to the islandic city.
