Wally grew up in Texas with his brother Art. When they were young, they moved to Tokyo Japan because his dad got deployed there. His dad ends up dying in a training exercise. This upset his brother and him and his mother. Especially wally cause Wally was a daddy's boy. Wally's mom decided for them to stay there. Wally's mom ended up getting a drug and alcohol problem and she dies in a car wreck when Wally was 16 and Art was 17. Art got more upset than Wally cause Art was a mother boy. Art and Wally end up splitting off. Eventually, they both find their way to Karakura and reunite. They make a ton of friends and people who they consider family along the way until they have made it to the present day.
