In as much detail as possible, describe the employee role you are applying for:
Librarians are information professionals who work in various settings, such as academic libraries, public libraries, school libraries, or special libraries. They play a crucial role in organizing, managing, and providing access to information resources for their users.

One of the primary responsibilities of librarians is to curate and maintain collections of books, journals, newspapers, and other physical or digital materials. They carefully select resources that best serve the needs and interests of their users, constantly evaluating and updating the collection to ensure its relevance. This process involves conducting research, attending conferences, reviewing publishers' catalogs, and seeking feedback from library patrons.

Librarians also engage in cataloging and classification of library materials. They assign descriptive information, or metadata, to each item, which allows users to search and locate materials through the library's catalog or online portal. This process ensures efficient organization and retrieval of resources within the library.

Reference services are a vital aspect of a librarian's role. They provide assistance to library users in finding information, whether it's answering quick factual questions or conducting in-depth research for complex queries. Librarians have expertise in utilizing various search strategies and databases to help users access relevant and reliable information. They possess a strong understanding of different research methodologies and can guide users in refining their research questions and locating appropriate resources.

Furthermore, librarians often collaborate with teachers, professors, and other educators to support information literacy and research skills development. They provide library instruction sessions or workshops to help users navigate the library's resources effectively. This includes teaching users how to critically evaluate sources, differentiate between scholarly and popular materials, and appropriately use citations and references.

In a continuously evolving digital environment, librarians stay up-to-date with technological advancements and manage electronic resources. They evaluate and select databases, e-books, and online journals, negotiate licenses, and troubleshoot access issues. Librarians are adept at utilizing library management systems, discovery services, and other technologies that enhance users' access to the library's resources.

Librarians are also active in their communities, organizing events, exhibitions, and public programs to promote reading, cultural awareness, and lifelong learning. They may develop partnerships with local organizations, schools, or businesses to extend library services beyond the physical space.

In addition to these core duties, librarians engage in collection development, budget management, assessment of library services, and supervisory roles, depending on their position and the size of the library. They also participate in professional development activities, attend conferences, contribute to professional literature, and collaborate with colleagues to exchange best practices and stay current in their field.

Overall, librarians are highly knowledgeable professionals who serve as gatekeepers and facilitators of information, striving to meet the information needs of diverse users, foster intellectual growth, and promote equitable access to knowledge and resources.

Another school employee is clearly acting inappropriately, doing something very dangerous on the job, how does your character react?:
I would tell them to stop and tell the higher-rank employees. If they do not stop, I would do the same thing and try to stop them.

When in the employee break room, how does your character act?
They would talk with fellow employees, chatting and asking them how their day was going.
