Winter's-bane
A friendly holiday celebrated by the Vår-Gave [vor-gov-ae] people.
The holiday originated in the Scandinavian region.
The holiday criticizes the coldness and bareness of winter while celebrating spring soon to come in the next months.
Practices
Cloudberry Everything - The hosts of the festival always make a plate of desserts, breads, jams, and teas made from the rare, expensive, and delicious fruit "Cloudberry" for each guest.
Sun-Gazing - Those who take up the challenge partake in an unhealthy practice of gazing into the sun. The goal is to stare into the sun the longest without sobbing and your eyes getting sore. Once you look away, you lose.
Storytelling - Do you need a definition? Okay, fine. The telling of stories.
Minimal Religious Practice - Religious practice used to be a big part of the holiday, but as non-Vår-Gave people joined, that decreased.
Stories
Stories are vague and vary. To get a story, go to a celebration.
Coincidentally, a group of Vår-Gave ended up in Karakura, and the festival might happen soon. (If you are interested DM me at wethecreature)
