I have been roleplaying on this server since 2025 in July I believe, and I have been consistently roleplaying on it since. I have been roleplaying for years prior to joining this server, so I have experience in it. Throughout my time roleplaying on srp I have been growing my craft and doing more and more detail rp. I am on the server every day around the same times and am pretty active on weekends and breaks.
In your own words, why do you think professors are important to SchoolRP?
Professors are important in SchoolRp because they help lead the young adults of Karakura into their adulthood, helping them gain knowledge for their future careers.

Adriano stood at a crisp 6’4 "with long, dark brown, curly hair. His skin is a dark brown, the color of dark ebony. He has a thick mustache growing above his lip, and on his body, he has tattoos on his left and right arms. On his right, he had a cross; on his left, he had a swirl pattern. He also had a tattoo on his lower back. When he walks past you, he smells like Pine wood & Cinnamon. It is a slightly strong smell, so it lingers even when he is no longer in the place he stood before. His eyes are a sharp brown, something that catches your eye when you look into them. On his face, you can see various beauty marks that he wears proudly on his face. The thing that makes him unique would be the way he behaves. He is very much still in his Karate element

Adriano would step his way into the interview room, greeting the interviewer with a warm, strong handshake. He would let out a low, long hum as he scratched the side of his face. "Mmh. Plans for the future? Well, I have two responses to this question. One has me going back into my prime and having the ability to teach the younger generation. I would like to pass down my knowledge so they can harness it and make it better. I could only do so much, and I'm sure this next generation will do me justice. And I don't just mean this about my Karate. I also want to pass down my public speaking skills. I love my community, and I love advocating for it. I love using my voice and hearing the voices of others. Using your voice causes change, and I love progressing.
There was now a tone shift when he got to the next part of the interview. He let out a deep, noticeable sigh and began to mess with his curly hair. "In my past, well, I'd consider it my prime." He let out a goofy low laugh before continuing on with what he had to say, "But no need to brag or anything of course, I was a Karate teacher. I had been practicing and studying karate since the age of 8, back in my home city. My father would always play movies and shows centered around it, and every time he saw more of it, I got more and more interested in the topic. I was unfortunately forced to stop my Karate career due to an accident that left my spine injured along with my leg. This injury was so bad for some period of time I needed a cane to help myself walk and stand up straight. And now that I am more healed, but of course I'm not back to my full potential. As a result of this accident, I have developed a slight limp in my walk. Something I hope I can fix but It's okay if I don't. I have learned to live with it and turn it into some type of cool story to tell the kids!"
What is their outlook on students and their co-workers?
The male would straighten himself in his seat and clear his throat so he could get ready to answer the next question. The last topic was pretty important to him, and he knew he still had more, so he prepared himself accordingly. The next question was asked and it processed in his head for a few seconds before he decided to reply. He stood straight up in his chair
What is their motivation for becoming a professor?:
Adriano would sit in the interview chair with his posture straight up, and his hands were placed in his lap. When he was asked the question "What is your motivation to become a professor?" He began to mess with his mustache as he thought of an answer. He really didn't need to think about this. He already knew the answer, but he wanted to make sure he got out everything he wanted to say. "My motivation for becoming a professor... well! I'd say my main driving point is my desire to help the new generation learn from past generation failures and successes. I know the new generation is our future, and I would like to take part in educating them to become great leaders and members of our society. I'm all for having people advocate for themselves, no matter what. Personally, my favorite way of advocacy is my voice. Speaking is very powerful, no matter who you are or where you are. Everyone can have a voice in some way, even if it's something that can't be heard. My goal is to teach the students this very topic. I want them to use their speech and their voice as a tool in order to advocate for themselves and others. Only they can make a change and one voice is better than none. Using your voice helps in many parts of your life, for instance, if you are being framed in a situation. What do you do? Get overworked and freak out? No. You calm down, take a break, and be the calm one in the situation. This helps ensure you get all of your thoughts together, and it makes the other party more likely to listen to you. Another example, if my students are working to become lawyers, I plan on teaching them important skills for that future career. Being a lawyer is something you have to be very in the moment for. It is very important to stay on top of your game, and I believe I have the tools to teach my students how they can properly utilize basic skills that can lead to them winning their very first court case. Now my teachings are, of course, not just for future lawyers. My lessons are good for many fields; you need to know how to use your voice in the culinary industry, industrial, engineering, government-based jobs, etc. The good thing about being a professor is that you can be versatile and hit on things that apply to many subjects, not just one. My motivation for being a professor is to inspire. My motivation is to show these young adults a way to advocate civilly and professionally while also making their words mean something. You want the room to go silent and the eyes to be on you. And I hope that one day, I will be in that crowd looking up at my students as they do that very thing." He gave a soft smile and adjusted himself in his chair. He had just talked for a very long time, so he let out a long, exasperated sigh. He was clearly very passionate about this topic; he must have really thought about this for a while.

Roleplay Scenarios
A jock is ignoring your lesson and throwing paper balls at another student, what would your character do?
He would take in that question, nodding along as if he was thinking of an answer. He then placed a finger on the corner of his mouth, tapping it a few times before he let out a low hum. He then clasped his hands together and placed them in his lap. "Ignoring my lesson and throwing paper balls? Well, that obviously can't continue. I would simply get up from wherever I am to give them a warning face-to-face. This is so that I don't have to make it a big deal in front of the whole class, which I know can be embarrassing for some people. I would also do this so that they have more of a personal understanding. Nothing threatening, of course, just something so they do know that it's a warning that they should respect. I would then make sure they agree before going back to my lesson. If this behavior continues, I would inform them of their actions and bring up the option to remove them from my class or the secondary option of them being handed detention." He glanced to the side, making a face that looked like he was thinking again. As he did this, he would adjust the rings on his fingers and tapped his foot slowly to the floor. "Then after that. . well! There isn't much to say, really. If the student chooses to continue to disobey, then I will have to act upon my previous warnings. There is no point in asking over and over and over. If they don't want to learn and want to affect their fellow students' way of learning, then I see no reason for them to stay." The male would then fix his posture and tapped his fingers on his legs with a smile, awaiting the next question.
A student doesn’t seem to understand the material, yet hasn’t requested help, what would your character do?
Adriano would be circling the classroom, listening in on everyone to see how their assignments were going. he liked to be very hands-on and he loved giving random feedback and curve balls mid-discussion.
When in the faculty lounge, how does your character act?
He would wrap up the final few minutes of class. He had just gone through an hour and a half with them, and now he needed a break. Too much movement, too much talking, just too much of too much. As the students left his class, he would dismiss them all with a goodbye followed by their name, and maybe an occasional high five here and there. Once they were finally out, he gave a deep, long sigh and immediately took his immediately left out the classroom. He walked down the hall with a slight pep in his step. He was always a happy-go-with-the-flow guy, but when it came to break time? He was even more chipper. Once he reached the break room, he had already had a smile plastered over his face. He turned the knob and entered the room, looking left, right, straight, up, and down. Yeah, the last two aren't as important, but you'd never know if you'd walk into a prank, right? He stepped in, letting the door shut behind himself. He would then greet the other people in the room by last name, that is, if they looked like they wanted to be bothered, that is. After his greeting, he would make his way to the fridge, removing his brown paper bag that had his name written in big, black Sharpie all the way across it. The bag would crumple in his hands as he closed the fridge with his hip, making his way over towards the table. He would take an empty seat, set his bag down, then he would open it and begin to eat. Not before he reads his note, he writes to himself every morning. There is nothing wrong with giving yourself a pep talk midday, right? Especially if you are in your mid 30's, teaching in a school with such an age range it has. As he eats, he would be seen scrolling on his phone to find the perfect thing to watch. If he could have his Ipad he would be on that instead, but you work with what you got. Once he found a show, which was just Karate Kid, he propped it up and propped wired headphones in his ears. Towards the end of his break, he would turn his show off and remove his headphones, sliding them into his pants pockets. He then would crumple up the brown bag, placing it in the trash bin. Before deciding to leave, he messed with his mustache and scanned the room. If he noticed someone else preparing to leave as well, he would decide to go over to them and start socialising. It would make the walk to class more bearable, plus you get to meet more of your coworkers, so things are less awkward and silent when you pass by.

- First class Idea: Each student draws a random everyday object (phone charger, water bottle, notebook, hoodie, etc.). They have 2 minutes to prepare a 30-second pitch convincing the class that this object is: The most important invention ever OR Something everyone should own (they will be allowed to write their thoughts in their notebooks, but can’t use them when it is time to present).
- Rules: 1.) Must include one emotional appeal (Ethos, pathos, or logos), and I will give a brief description of all three and how to use them properly.
2.) Must include one logical reason why this is the most important invention or why it is something everyone should have.
3.) Must be engaging
4.) Must end with a strong closing sentence.

I would gather the students up and take them out to the reporter's building in hopes one of the reporters would have time to speak to the class and give tips about how they stay on top of their game when it comes to reporting on the scene, in high-stakes situations, or just in general. Knowing how to ask the right questions at the right time, to the right people, is always needed. Reporters always have to make sure they are on top of their game or else someone else will take up the story for them, and no one wants that. So by speaking to the reporters, I hope that the students learn from this and acknowledge the importance of staying in the moment while also watching what's going on around you. Everything around you is a talking point, and you must take advantage.

For my second idea, I would take the students out to the town hall. There, I would try to get us to talk to a lawyer and see how they also handle high-stakes situations, a court case, for example. In a courtroom, you always have to adapt the way you approach things, and that plays a big part in public speaking. Another key thing about being a lawyer is knowing how to present your case. I would like them to tell us how they use body language to prove their point. Actions speak volumes, and I would like the students to realize that by going on this field trip.

- Second class Idea: One student begins speaking, and midway through, I would call out a new topic. They must smoothly connect the old topic to the new one without stopping.
- Example: Topic starts as “discipline." then after they say a sentence or two, I would change it to “pizza.”
- The goal of this activity is for the students to get used to things being thrown out at them. Like if you are being interviewed and they throw a curveball, especially if it is a reporter doing a public interview. You have to be ready for anything and everything. Which is why this class idea would work so well.
- At the end, I will ask these questions: What strategy helped you connect the topics? Did your panic show externally? What could you have done to make the transition smoother? Then I will explain why smooth transitions and thinking on the spot are important to public speaking and how it helps build a strong speech.
