Describe your activity on the server:
Starting out, I focused alot on other people and alot less for my own comfort. Always pushing out of my comfort zone to roleplay with new experiences and new people. I've learnt to try new things and set my eyes on focusing to understand. When it came to applying for EMS I found it extremely interesting a tad more than I expected. As it is different to write than to experience it yourself. Personally, I've spent a large quantity of my time on the server around faction roleplays. Working either for them or attending roleplays that are hosted by them. I still regularly visit the server on off hours in small visits to see if there is anything. Til this day im still suprised on how far I have come on the server. And by the connections and memories i've made.

What experiences do you have with roleplay?:

A now smaller part of my roleplay on the server was GangRp. I learnt the basics from a few friends on the server and further learnt all about roleplaying. Although a shorter sweet then sour part of my roleplay as GangRp was a usual straightforward type of gain and lose situation. I strived away from it due to its nature & the lack of reward after.

FactionRp

Reporter
Being a reporter is being nosy and trying your best to find what people find most interesting about the server. That includes usually other people as that is the easiest to work off. Be it sponsors or song of the day. Meaning I spent a large portion of time figuring out what was the heat of the server at the time. A big part of it is writing reports and coming up with ideas. Both things I am not great at but still try to learn. Even if it does exhaust me more than EMS, I find it a different experience entirely compared to the straightforward medical roleplay.

EMS
A big portion of the familiarity of the server comes from the medical roleplay I had before leaving. Plenty of people know me and my ex EMS character as Wonshik I remember a large part of the treatments. I've bonded with the other staff around it. And as well the staff I trained myself. (All be it short) I still have plenty of experience with myself being the patient and doctor. Where treatments became guessing games and genuine research. The effort I put into people's diagnoses and treatment plans extends a bit past my own capabilities at the time. And people of their own. Although I was glad to be able to give a chance to those who wanted the effort.

What is your motivation for applying?

For the most part, I miss my time in EMS greatly, there are some points where I do regret leaving. And other times where I don't. A large part of it was due to poor time management skills at the time. And causing myself to burn out quickly, where I had alot of time to kill and spent it poorly. The medical roleplay was also a large part of what I was always known for, and still am to this day. Medicine and medical work is a large part of my life. I tried to take it on as much as I could and can in SRP.

When I left I started to see the lack of availability for doctors during the off hours. Where people needed EMS to be in and there wasn't anyone available. So in the end, a part of me misses the faction. Another part wants to help the faction show its capabilities and people while brightening the image of the emergency faction. A larger part is involving myself again with the people that I know on the faction and supporting the community with their own roleplay further. By just being another hand to help their characters develop further and build connections with medical staff.

Which role are you applying for?
Doctor

What knowledge do you have of the roles within the Hospital Faction?
(This is to gauge at your current understanding of the faction prior to acceptance)
Im plenty familiar with the system and hope to see it hasn't changed all too much since I departed. As I still understand the hierarchy goes as follows and their duties.

Doctors Department

The Doctors of the Karakura hospital will be the hub responsible for all sorts of ailments. These staff will be responsible for handling physical treatments through sudden Patient influxes & Check ups. These Doctors will also handle most of the harm done to the civilians. Be it airborne or physical. They will also be doing KPD's physical evaluations.

Trainee: Trainees are expected to attend casual duties within the hospital. Handling the front desk, broadcasting if so as needed.
Handling non prescriptive items. They are allowed to undergo treatments under the supervision of a senior or higher. They may not go off duty.

Resident: They are expected to be the role model for the trainees and act accordingly. They are allowed to diagnose and prescribe prescription items. They still need to report surgeries & treatments to attendings or their respective CL. As well as being allowed to finally leave the hospital on off duty hours.

Senior: A step up from Resident. These will also be handling training sessions for the trainees. This is what all residents will strive to be and work towards. They are allowed to do all as aforementioned ranks. They require a lower requirement for max quota.

Attending: Barely there. Attendings will be responsible for their lower subordinates and work accordingly with them. They have a lower requirement for quota and will always be easily noticeable by the white coat they wield proudly. The only difference here is they are allowed to approve off duty requests from their lower subordinates of ONLY their department.

Clinical lead: The clinical lead of the Doctors Department will be responsible for handling ICLY reports of doctors and organizing events according to their department. They will also be able to approve off duty requests from other departments and themselves! They also get armed with Mido. Being able to subdue any hostile or erratic patients. They will also be able to host patrols and allow other departments to join! These will also assign Doctors for the physical evaluation of all the officers.

Psychiatric Department

This department will be handling the psychological burden of Karakura's inhabitants being civilians, Lawyers, Officers or even teachers. They will be responsible for patient's mental state and help them understand themselves alot better. They will also be doing KPD's psychiatric evaluations.

The only difference here is they are allowed to approve off duty requests from their lower subordinates of ONLY their department.

Clinical lead: The clinical lead of the Psychiatric Department will be responsible for handling ICLY reports of psychiatrists and organizing events accordingly to their department. They will also be able to approve off duty requests from other departments and themselves! They also get armed with Mido. Being able to subdue any hostile or erratic patients. They will also be able to host patrols allowing other departments to join! These will also assign psychs for the psychiatric evaluation of all the officers.

Paramedic Department

This department will handle any calls that are ongoing in Karakura via the hotline. They will all get respective access to the ambulance for transporting patients. They will also handle patrolling around the city alongside their counterparts in KPD.

Trainee: Trainees of the Paramedic Department will have to complete their training before they are allowed to leave the hospital! They will be trained in doctor situations just as much as psychiatric situations.

Paramedic: These Paramedics are allowed to leave the hospital to respond to calls. Being during school hours and on the school floor. Or a situation containing multiple officers! These Paramedics will be in the heat of the battlefield. Either having to calm a patient or stabilize them equally as they are being transported to the hospital. Or both! The paramedics can approve off duty requests from either department, including their own. Just not their respective leads! These Paramedics will also be able to host patrols of their own.

Chief: Chief Paramedic will be in control of most of the paramedics. And doing the same as previous Clinical leads! Hosting events or handling ICLY reports. The chief will also have tokens to dish out for job's well done!

Higher up
All clinical leads: The clinical leads of each department holds respective reign over their department. Be it hosting events or responsibility when it comes to ICLY reports. These CL's also have tokens they can hand out if a job is well done.

Deputy director: The deputy director is just a smidge higher than all the leads. For when the director isn't able to be in full attendance, the deputy will step in. They are responsible for ICLY & OOCLY reports within the faction. The Directors will also be in direct control of the CCTV for when situations vary within the hospital. They will also be responsible for promotions. Same as the CL's they have tokens they can dish out.

Director: The Director is the top dog. Being responsible for faction requests for items and handling quota as accordingly. Higher than all the leads. FThey are responsible for ICLY & OOCLY reports within the faction. They are in control of CCTV for when situations vary within the hospital. They will also be responsible for promotions. The Director is the person you will have to redeem tokens for the small rewards that inhibit EMS for doing a good job.

They will also dish out equipment and refill the medication!

Do you acknowledge that if training is held whilst you are online, you are expected to attend or you will be punished?
YES! I'm familiar and aware.

In-Character (IC) Section
SECTION 1: PERSONAL DETAILS

Character’s Full Name:

Hissing of a door creaked while boots trailed in behind. The soft squirming of carpet meeting soggy prints of the moose. A distinct sound of an umbrella collapsing in on itself while it shook its wet fur. The man left it at the outside of the door. To rest, and be left alone for the time being. Rain soon followed at the windows. Trickling gently to the windows while rain droplets raced to the bottom of the windowsill. Every now and then a larger droplet hitting the window made the room echo. The voice spoke louder than the rain a moment, just soft enough for the incense that was carried in to be silenced like mist.

"
Hello, Dr. Herr present. Rudolf S. Herr, That is."
Like a deer in headlights, he froze. Waiting for a name to be spoken back from the quiet.
Character’s Gender and Pronouns:
The man slowly approached, careful not to tread tracks onto the pristine carpet. And to not bring the stench of rain into the office. Once the man reached the seat, his hands were settled onto the chairs back. Easing his cold knuckles into the fabric like they'd tell him the secrets and answers.

"
He or- Him. Is quite fine for me."

Right after he was done speaking his serenade, the man started to settle himself down. The satchel he carried was rested on the edge of the seat. His whole frame twisted until he sat down. A small grunt left the rather taller frame. There was always more to wish for in the end.

Character’s Age (if accepted):
Only once all of his things were settled and he was sure about his next words. He spoke up in a hum as there was an underlying meaning was present. A lighter meaning as in a crude opposite to the harsher hurricane outside.

" Fifty, Six. Quite the age. Isn't it?"

Then just as the weather could turn, so did he. A small smile facing the person. Only enough to just barely qualify for a selfie. His coat stretching with his arm while he reached over to finally shake the hand of the person on the other side of the table. Only then did Rudolf actually catch a glimpse of the features before him.

Character’s Academic Background:
The man stared for a moment too long, almost forgetting to blink and breathe. All to fit in or rather function. Once the hand was retracted under the shadows of the desk. It moved again just like a machine flicking on to act. This time reaching into the satchel that was brought along. Abitur equivalent was brought up and settled on the desk, just for thunder to strike around the building. Nothing too abnormal for Karakura. It only shook the building slightly. Dr. Herr adjusted the certificate just gently to accommodate the placebo effect he had.

"
Masters. A grueling 6 years. " A light pause given. " Not my fondest years. "

Character’s Nationality:
The certificate was retreated and stored accordingly to protect it from the rain. A small plastic folder inside of his satchel kept most of his documents clean. Only then did he pause a moment to wait for a reaction. Once he was provided material to speak off, he hummed up to life.

" German. Wolfsburg is a lovely city. You should visit in your free time. Yes?"

A wrist gesturing around a moment before resting back onto the chair's armrests like they owed him an apology and were to be shamed for it.

Character’s Marital Status:
It wasn't like the rest of his words. These were quick and sure. Like they were pre-written in his head, and he was only reading from the projection screen in his skull.

"
Single, Unmarried if you will."

He cleared his throat and adjusted his suit. The buttons that were drenched in rain had slipped and unbuttoned. He had something to be busy with atleast while the recruiter could process his words.

Character’s Religious Denomination:

"Atheism."
A few words. Just enough for an answer, a subject not too fond? Or rather a subject he had no time to discuss. Either way, It didn't seem like he was going to stick around for a meeting about it.

Character’s Spoken Languages:

"German. If not quite obvious."
A small smile came from the man. The rain outside had dimmed at this time of hour. It was a late night, with the air smelling more of petrichor than anything else. It was like this man had a constant state of catharsis around him that was not his own. His body started to shift at first. The rain being squeezed out of the fabrics of his clothes while he crossed his ankle over knee. A moment of silence. Before the audible sound of his mouth parting into a smile.

Character Backstory (Optional):
Findouticly...
SECTION 2: MEDICAL HISTORY
What is your character’s medical speciality? Why did they choose this focus?

Family Medicine & Internal Medicine, as he himself found himself surrounded by the sickly. He decided it was time to be a helping hand instead of lingering and loitering in his family's eyes as the expensive practitioners. He chose to work as a house doctor. As in Germany, his city was easily walkable. He found it serene how easy it was to diagnose and get out the hair of the many civilians there. Using his age without a mindful eye he continued never charging an absurd amount rather just a small fee for the urgency of the calls. He is a walking man and prefers to keep his travels easy and compact. He found this profession pleasant and straightforward instead of occupying himself with the mind. Although he still dabbles with psychiatric diagnoses. A certain type of community he found himself around back in Germany. He felt more instead of a hierarchy that everything was connected like a fungus, akin a mushroom.

Does your character have any work experience in medical positions?

House Physician. He is a family physician to many families back in Germany, and keeps those records close to if he should ever return to his natural estate.
The small practices is what he was best at. The common cold. People mistaking hives for the plague. Children running fevers in the cold winter. Plenty of kids hes made happier. Although not his intention he was glad to some degree it was spread to a further degree than he expected. He worked continue til he decided it wasn't always going to be the same routine. He switched over to a more grounded harsher medical expense for medical knowledge. Allowing him to work in the hospital as a resident. Letting him see for the more inpatient care for patients in the hospital. This also allowed his to give daily support to medical staff. Starting to practice in actual hospitals up all until Karakura.

SECTION 3: CHARACTER KNOWLEDGE
Describe your character; how do they look, what makes them unique? How would they be perceived by others?

The man seemed to be standing still. Hands retreated to his side. Shoulders unaligned with his collar. He was merely standing. Nothing else was to be seen. Just an expression that showed a small warmth and recognition for something that was not to be put in words. He wouldn't be unique to the eye. He'd just be there, hands on or hands off. Once secluded he would be taking to his own devices. Cleaning equipment with relaxed care. 'Nothing good is to be rushed' all while he nestled his tools with a carefree attitude. He would not give in to stress if it ment the life of him. Yet once out of the blind eyes of public, would he really be himself. A supportive man with plenty of life experience to go around for many. He would not stop telling a story until he was pried from his break. Old and tuned just accordingly to what was needed.

How does your character act around the hospital?
Careful and calm. Polite at least. He has his manners and will reserve them for those that can't. So far as a professional house physician can be. He will relate and have empathy for his patients and co workers. He will keep up a professional attitude if that is required or is best suited. Yet he will be social when he is allowed to be. He can be a quick worker if needed. But quick does not mean human. He can take superiority in groups if it is the last straw to be taken. Desperate times call for desperate measures, A relaxed exterior may seem polite. Can always be burning up inside with stress. He isn't exempt and is still a human after all.

Does your character function better on their own or with others?
He would absolutely function better alone. But there are things he cannot do without an extra set of hands. Being if there are extra patients. He isn't willing to rush one patient's care for another. He will do his best in 1-on-1 care. But 1-on-2 will not end well without an extra pair of hands. If there are more doctors than patients, he would always gladly take over a part of the procedure to help the machine run smoothly.

He is well structured to some degree. If a cog is missing, things will go awry. But that would not happen without something being done to prevent it. Despite all of his stress. He does prefer a pair of eyes to speak to. Be it a patient or a co-worker. Being social is what bewonders him the most.
