Describe your activity on the server:

General Server Activity

Currently, I’m an active member of the SRP community, spending approximately 4 - 5 hours a day on the server. Despite this, my hours tend to exceed this time, depending on the number of things that I have going on, such as college or even other life things. When online, most of my time is spent split between two different accounts, xXXuanderXx and xXXuander05Xx, in which I engage in a variety of different roleplay experiences, ranging from criminal to even normal roleplay scenarios with others on the server, trying to interact with anyone possible, and offer what I can to the community.

Factions

Over the past few years, I’ve had the opportunity to take part in a few different factions that have offered me different opportunities, from roleplay to even partaking in different events, whether this be KPD, Teacher, Government faction, or even the sports faction. I’ve been a loyal member of each of these factions, staying for around a year in each and 2 years in the sports faction (possibly longer) before I eventually quit to move on to something else. Out of all factions, though, Crime and Gangrp is the one that I’ve been involved with the most, spending the entirety of my years on the server involved one way or another with the faction, as it’s a really big passion of mine. Along with this, my experience in this sector of the server is probably the most developed due to it being the first thing that I ever partook in, and to this day, I’ve been involved in one way or another.

Criminal and Gang Roleplay
The criminal and gang faction on the server has been a large part of my time, and still is to this day, as I am constantly looking to partake in something for my main character (the one this application is for). From my joining of SRP in around 2022 or 2023, I instantly took an interest in the faction for a variety of different reasons, one of the main ones being that it’s very easy to join a gang compared to other factions on the server. As the years passed, I started partaking in a lot more in the faction, whether this be from being contracted into Fight Club, working at the old Ikigai Club, or Nexus, along with the plethora of other gangs that I’ve had the chance to experience over the years.

Along with this, during the start of my time on the server, I’ve partaken in gangrp as a member of many different gangs that have all had something fun, such as interactions with the black market itself or some sort of little task and goals to achieve. To date, and in making this application, I’ve only been in one gang, and that was the mandate for a short period of time, instead choosing to do my own thing in crime, such as creating lore moments.

KPD
As of applying, I’m currently a member of the KPD faction despite knowing that I will have to quit if I am accepted into the faction. However, due to this being my only faction and the most recent one that I’ve partaken in, I decided to mention it anyway. This faction, I’ve been in for around 11 - 12 months and have been active since the very start, managing to do everything needed, such as achieving quota, roleplaying or even partaking in the variety of different events that have taken place over the year, in which I’ve interacted with different people and even faction members in the process. I simply find myself trying to find something fun to do while in factions like these, as it’s something that I look forward to when logging on, as I don’t want to be running in circles for hours, trying to find something to actually do.

What are your motivations in applying for the black market dealer role?

Roleplay and experience

I’ve got a variety of different motivations for applying to the Black Market Dealer faction, but wanting more roleplay and a new experience is something that entices me to apply. Roleplay is obviously a large part of the server, and is something that I’ve spent many hours doing, especially when it comes to the crime side of roleplay on the server, whether this be as a KPD member combating it, or partaking in crime as a gang member, or simply someone running around alone and roleplaying with members of the criminal side of the server. The crime faction was one of my first experiences on the server, and something that I love even to this day, due to the amount of lore and potential that it has when it comes to developing a unique character and overall roleplay opportunities, which is something that I would love to dive deeper into rather this be by offering a unique experience to those interacting with me, or simply having a larger role within the community of this faction, and experiencing the roleplay opportunities that I would get as a member of the BMD faction.

Not only that, but I would have the opportunity to experience something new, as BMD’s have a larger role in the crime and gang side of the server, as they are the ones who run a variety of different things on the server, ranging from business to events that the player base can partake in. Overall, this faction is one that I’ve not yet been able to partake in, and is one that I would love to have the experience of, as BMD has always been a goal of mine on the server.

Events

It should come as no surprise that crime events build into my motivation for applying to this faction, as it allows me to have the opportunity to create criminal events and even partake in other events, whether this be as a helping role for other black market dealer events, or simply creating my own for the server to enjoy. Events are one of my favourite things in the crime faction, as it opens up a ton of potential roleplay experiences and opportunities to the crime community, allowing them to develop drama, build upon it, and even roleplay out the effects or even aftermath of the events that may have affected the character. Not only does this picture capture my attention, but the smallest ideas, such as creating events to develop my own character's story or multiple characters, hold my attention and drive me forward. I’d love to offer my help when it comes to creating more interesting server-wide events in the criminal community as a black market dealer.

Additionally, I would like to offer my ideas when it comes to creating a variety of different criminal events on the server, and also skills, as I am currently a member of the event team on the server and have experience when it comes to leading server-wide events.

Developing my character and others

Another thing that drives me to apply for this faction is the development of my main character that I've played for a total of two or three years now. This faction is one that would allow me to have a variety of different lore points and opportunities to develop him in a unique way that I would not be able to get from being a gang member or even a leadership member of a gang. Being a black market dealer would allow me to develop him through the variety of different interactions that are unique to the role, whether this be weapon deals, events or as a business lead. Something that will allow me to build on his story and develop him more as a character in general.

Additionally, I overall think this would be a fun experience to build further into the crime side of my character, as being a part of it for a long time, there’s only so far that an actual gang character can be taken with lore before actually having to get involved with something bigger.

Additional motivation

There are many other motivations that I have for applying to this faction, one of them simply being that crime and GangRP have been such a large portion of my time on the server. Along with this being something that has been a common and average day experience on the server, I tend to spend a majority of my time roleplaying out fights, whether this be p2l or rolling ones, meetings, and even a variety of other things. Additionally, in crime, there’s a plethora of other reasons, such as it simply piques my interest, as past experiences with dealers were interesting, enjoyable and reminiscing on those times made me want to give it a shot, and offer those types of interactions to others on the server, allowing me to showcase a variety of different fun ideas to the server.

What helps you to stand out from other applicants & what can you uniquely provide to the team?

Experience / Adaptation

Something that makes me stand out compared to other applicants is my ability to quickly read and adapt to a situation depending on the scenario. This is due to my vast experience in criminal and gang roleplay on the server (around three years or more), and experiencing many types of these situations before. An example of this being beneficial is knowing how to handle a situation if it were to go south, whether this be in-character or out of it, as my experience in this and KPD has taught me how to handle situations that you can be thrown into. In character, it would allow me to remain secretive as a black market dealer, which is essential to this faction, as a key factor to being a BMD in character is being secretive.

Additionally, due to my experience as a KPD member, I know how to handle situations without them going crazy and becoming a mess to deal with. This is useful as it would allow me to handle situations respectfully, along with getting them over and dealt with without any issues being caused on my side, and hopefully the opposing party's side too, as some situations can get messy, no matter the experience that a player has in crime.

Event Team Experience

One of the most unique things that I can offer to this faction is my event team experience. This is something that would make me stand out compared to others, as I have a good understanding of how events should be planned and then executed on the server, whether this be an official server-wide event or a player-run one. An example of how this would be beneficial to the faction is how I would be able to offer my help when it came to dealing with events, whether this be with other members of the community or other black market dealers on the server, to ensure that events come out smoothly and to ensure that they have little to no issues while the event is taking place.

In addition to this, crime and gang events are my favourite events that can take place on the server due to the large variety of things that can be done, and also lore points that can be built from them, whether this be a singular or multiple characters. Due to this being my favourite form of event, I would spend hours, days, or even months perfecting them, ensuring that they are fun, interesting, and engaging for those taking part in them. This would also show off crime to those who are not particular with the side of the server, grabbing the interest of new players, and also giving them a chance to partake in something new.

Finally, when it comes to events in crime, there’s always the chance that something in the event plan does not go to plan, whether this be something getting missed out or simply getting caught during the event. A risk that I understand well due to my experience with the faction and gang events that I have partaken in. This experience would allow me to make a plan B, or even help me improvise if needed, to ensure that the event can continue on, even if that includes creating a diversion in-character while the event is taking place.

Leadership Skills

Over the past few years, I’ve had a variety of different leadership roles, whether this be as a member of a gang itself on the server or something outside that I’ve had to do in my real life. This has allowed me to learn a variety of different skills, such as what it takes to lead certain situations on the server, whether this be an event or a simple gathering of people. Additionally, it has made me very critical when it comes to leading or reviewing something, as I always look for the flaws and a way to improve upon something that might not have gone right, such as an event or even an interaction with another player on the server. All of these would be beneficial to a BMD as they are at the forefront of crime, being the ones the player base will head to for questions, or even help when it comes to events.

Passion For Crime
Now, despite this potentially not being something that will make me stand out compared to others, it’s a thing that I would like to mention due to it being a large part of any faction, as without it you won’t be motivated to partake in the role. This passion would help me stand out as I would be able to offer a variety of different ideas to the faction, whether this be events, new businesses, or simple ideas that would help better the faction, not only for myself but for the entire player base as a whole. Crime has personally been a faction that has always screamed fun to me, and is a faction that I would love to have a larger role in, especially when it comes to helping make the changes, or hosting events for the different players on the server. Crime events, in my opinion, are one of the most interesting, and can be the most lore-driven things that can be done.

Crime Businesses Experience
Over the past few years in crime, I’ve had the opportunity to experience the many different businesses that the faction has to offer, excluding the racing and bounty hunter scene, even though I have the basic idea of what each of these businesses has to do. The faction businesses that I’ve actually had the chance to be in are as follows: Ikigai Club, Nexus and Fight Club as a contractor.

Ikigai Club: This was a club that I had the opportunity to work in for a brief period of time before it was eventually changed into a place where criminals alike could interact with one another in a crime-free environment, without the risk of being caught by cops for speaking about something shady. While there, I worked on a variety of different games, and even as a bodyguard to make sure everything was going right, without people causing issues at the club.

Fight Club: Now, the fight club experience was a little different compared to the others, as I had the opportunity to be a contractor due to the gang at the time being paid by the black market dealers to protect and be extra security for the club. This was my first experience in the faction businesses, and later allowed me to find what I liked doing the most in said business, which was being a bodyguard that also allowed me to roleplay with people, but also gather information about fellow gangs in the background.

Nexus: Although I was not in this club for a long time, it had a lack of openings during my time in it. I had the experience of working there as a bodyguard once more, allowing me to interact with fellow criminals, while gathering a variety of different information on gangs or criminals

These experiences allow me to understand how a business is run on the server, and the expectations that a person has, whether this be the faction lead or player-base, as they are the ones that are interacting with it, or even partaking. This experience will also help me if I gain leadership over one of these businesses, as I would understand what it's about, or what could be done to improve upon it, even or just simply taking ideas that someone has given me while leading, as feedback is a very major part of these factions.

What previous experience do you have in working with a team?

Event Team

While being on SRP, one of the biggest things that I have taken part in on the server, and arguably the thing that has taught me a variety of different team skills, is the event team. This has helped me a lot with developing teamwork, along with communication skills, as an event team member is required to work with a variety of different players on the server, whether this be within themselves or with other factions on the server. While being a part of this community team, I have learned how to develop events and make them become a reality, along with a variety of other things, such as how they could fall through, or taking feedback on them when needed to make them more enjoyable, or simply run smoother in the future. This would be useful for me as a member of the BMD faction, as I would be able to help out the community when it comes to getting things done, such as events, or simply suggesting ideas to them that could be fun, or even running them myself. While also knowing what is needed and required of me to think about. However, I’ve also learned how to work as a leader for these events, whether this be taking charge and giving people different roles or simply managing the whole thing and ensuring that everyone is well-informed.

Club-Leader

Though not being in this faction for a great amount of time, during my time on the server, it has still taught me a few important things. One of them was that working in a team allows more efficiency in different situations, as you can help one another out if needed. In addition to this, I also gained knowledge that working alone wasn’t always the easiest or best option in certain scenarios, as many people can suggest a variety of different ideas or solutions that will be useful. Overall, this faction taught me that doing things alone, or working alone, is not always the best option, as sometimes things alone become overwhelming. This would be used as a BMD, as I would be able to ask the community, or even other BMD’s, for help or feedback before and after an event.

Team Captain / Teams

One of my largest experiences on a team, whether this be as a leader or simply a member of a team, is the actual team faction on the server. This faction and experience have helped me a lot with developing my teamwork, along with communication skills, as a captain is required to speak to a larger audience, specifically a team, other teams, and even members of staff. While being a member of a team, I learned that suggesting ideas and taking feedback allows me to create more fun and interesting experiences for everyone, whether this be a simple idea that has been shot down or something more developed and fleshed out. For example, I took ideas on events, or even my character, that can further provide an experience for others, or even myself. Overall, the captain showcased how receiving and giving feedback on topics can help out and improve something, no matter how big or small the feedback might be, allowing an issue to be solved. This is not the only thing that I learned as a captain, as being in the position of leadership gave me experience in taking charge of a situation when needed. This was a major learning experience as it showed me that being a leader isn’t simply being bossy, but taking charge to ensure that people are having fun and also in an environment that’s fun for everyone involved.

Factions

During my time on the server, I’ve been in a variety of different factions. A select few of them, being the KPD, Government, and teacher faction, have overall been a learning experience for a variety of different reasons, and also something that has taught me how factions work with other people on the server, whether this be in a situation with KPD, or something like an event that involves the player base, or the faction. These factions, have also allowed me to develop my communication skills, as I’ve needed to talk to a variety of people to deal with situations that can get messy, especially while I was in the KPD faction, allowing me to make situation run smoothly, and ensure that everyone is having a fun time, something that is important to crime, as lots can happen at once and cause people to get confused.

Gang Roleplay / Criminal Roleplay

Being a part of the GangRP community has taught me a lot about communication, leadership skills and overall teamwork. One of the main things that I have learned from this is to communicate when something has gone wrong, especially when it comes to someone messing up and doing something that they cannot do. It has taught me that you can sort out situations without always getting staff involved as long as both parties are willing to communicate and talk with one another. This is not the only thing that has been taught to me, however, as I love creating ideas and helping others do so too, whether this be a simple event or a planned interaction that can be meaningful towards characters, as mentioned previously in my application, I have a passion for crime and wish to do more for it. Along with this, I believe that I’ve learned to communicate with other gang leads and people to create ideas for gangs. An example of this would be the Sinnerous vs Immertreu, something that had been planned and developed on by adding different twists and building off issues to create something on a larger scale that allows more than just PvP, but roleplay that is interesting and meaningful.

Overall

Overall, all these things have been learning experiences for me and have been something that I’ve learned from during my time on the server, even if they were small or I hadn’t been involved in them for a long period of time.

What suggestions do you have to help better the crime faction?

Weapon Truck Revival

What they do.

The weapon trucks are a unique concept to the crime faction, offering a necessary sense of risk and reward and encouraging people to engage in criminal roleplay that requires communication. Rather, this is from creating a plan before the trucks are released onto the street or roleplaying with the people who are driving those trucks around Karakura. These trucks bring a major benefit of giving another thing that gangs can have conflicts over, which can later lead to larger roleplay scenarios. As of now, they were never been notified on Ikigai and instead had to be found before messaging your gang or organisation through in-character means, whether that be Ikigai or simply sending a text.

This overall improved the crime rate and created challenges due to their having an actual reason to fight one another. A challenge that is necessary when it comes to creating rivalries is that they can create a variety of roleplay experiences that can be built upon and even developed from, if the gangs decide to do so. However, simply put, they are a way for risk to be added while they gain a reward from stealing the weapons from inside the truck.

Improvement 1

My first suggestion for these weapon trucks is to simply set a schedule, or some sort of week every month, that one or two are allowed to drive around the map. The gang members on the server, or even criminals, are allowed to partake in challenging them through IC means such as cornering them on the server, planning roadblocks, or even through any means possible. Like before, players will be allowed to break into the back of the weapon truck and steal the weapons, whether this be without other gangs or criminals trying to intervene and prevent them from getting them.

Improvement 2
However, unlike last time, there could be some sort of alert inside the Ikigai server, announcing it beforehand to allow such roleplay regarding the truck, or giving those gangs time to prepare beforehand.

Unlike last time, some sort of notification could be added to the Ikigai channel, alerting everyone in Ikigai that the trucks have been released onto the street and that they’re free to be stopped. This could be done by some in-game message through the black market, in which they alert the general public that these trucks have been seen and to stop them for free weapons, but watch out for others who might contest them.

Simply put, this would allow gangs to have larger rivalries and even give everyone a chance to partake in these situations without having to worry about missing them due to time zones or simply not being notified beforehand.

Improvement 3

Something that could be added to ensure this is done monthly, or on schedule, is to have the BMD’s, or even the associates, play the truck drivers, allowing them to take control of the situation if needed and to ensure that everyone is roleplaying properly. This could be done by using some sort of alternative characters, like ones specifically for the trucks, or their own BMDA/BMD characters.

One way that could be more interesting, or add more lore and create a story for the black market, is to create event style character in which are trying to sell weapons that the black market uses. This could later lead to larger-scale events that may or may not involve the trucks and offer a larger storyline that would be fun to experience.

How would it help

This would cause them to be more frequent, as, to my knowledge, only one has been out since the initial release, and the player base that is involved with crime has not had the opportunity to even partake in this mini-event-style activity that crime has to offer. Simply setting a schedule or dates would allow it to be more frequent and manageable with people's schedules. As it could be set during a specific week, in which people playing the truck drivers are free, while a BMD is online.

When it comes to the second part of the improvement/suggestion, adding an announcement will allow more players to have an opportunity to partake in the trucks, as sometimes they might not be online at the time, but have the availability to do so. This would also improve crime from an OOC standpoint, as people will have the chance to partake in the fun and create even more environments that could later lead to events or small roleplay interactions between characters.

Finally, the last addition would allow the development of a story between the truck drivers and the black market that could later lead to further events that can be built off through events private to the black market, or even public ones in which gangs, or even the general people of Ikigai are offered a chance to do something such as locate things around the map, or even interact with these specific event characters.

Overall

Overall, these trucks offer rewards and an incentive for people to get involved, while also offering them something to build off by creating their own events afterwards with rival gangs, as something serious, such as a character getting majored, or kidnapped, could take place, which would promote roleplay within the community, along with being a stepping stone to develop events from them.

Bullet Points
- Make Trucks monthly, 1 - 2 times a month.
- Promotes roleplay and criminal activity.
- Gives an incentive to fight over things.
- Promotes Challenge
- Make BMDA’S / BMDS drive the trucks on their characters

Additional
- Work with other businesses for special events

Nexus Revamp

What Nexus is

Nexus is a business that provides an area for criminals to interact with others, with the safety of not being able to fight each other while in the area. However, since it was first announced after the Ikigai club shut down, it has opened many times or been used more than a couple of times in the span of around a year.
Along with this, it offers a criminal hotspot that different players on the server can head to roleplay with a variety of different people in the same faction as them. Something that is a positive for the faction and will allow different varieties of situations, or even events, to build on the server.

Improvement 1

My first suggestion is simply creating some sort of schedule for when this could open, whether it be once a week or a few times a month. This would allow criminals to gather together more and create a wide variety of role-play scenarios that can continue outside of the actual club or even take place inside the club, as it’s a place that they can all gather without having to worry about their identity being leaked or even getting caught by the cops. Overall, making this a more active thing in the community and server will promote roleplay and even help people gain interest in crime, as they can use it as a hub to start crime.

This would be an improvement like last time, simply causing it to open more on a schedule, allowing it to be used more often and allowing more roleplay between the criminals, as it can be hard to find sometimes.

Improvement 2

When it comes to making changes, or even something that can improve upon Ikigai, I have a few suggestions or ideas. Rather, this could be from improving the overall experience, or simply making it more of a money-maker, as people do spend their time working there for pay.

The first idea that I would add is adding an entrance fee, which I currently don’t think exists like its previous predecessor being the club, that had a 5k entrance fee upon making it to the door, this would improve the money made and would also not put a heavy toll upon entering the actual area itself, some money that anyone could make from simply being on the server for a little bit of time. As a criminal business and a safe haven, it shouldn’t be a free place to enter, as some guards and workers need to be paid; this would be one way to add additional ways to make money for them.

Improvement 3

Secondly, one addition could be to allow the place to be rented at a set price based on the amount of time it is used. This would have to be run through the black market itself by calling the hotline and asking to speak to the director of Nexus, leading to an interaction between the black market dealer and a member that is wanting to rent it. These private rentals would allow the gang paying for access to the club to use it at a specific time for whatever they need it for, whether this be for hosting some sort of gathering between two other organisations, or using it for whatever other idea that they have. During this time, the same rules will apply as usual, and everything will be open like a normal opening, and require fewer people to keep running. This will not only promote roleplay between gangs that don’t have a turf but will also give them access to a safe location to do it, meaning the quality of roleplay will become greater as they will not be running the risk of getting caught. Additionally, after each gang event that has taken place on the server, mainly the large-scale ones that have been planned by the gang leader and crime lead, Ikigai could open, offering them a moment of peace and a chance to roleplay the aftermath if they get away with it, of course. This part would be solely for free, unless they want to spend money on the nexus coins, and offer the gang that has done the event a chance to rest, and also give the chance for the workers to gather intel on them.

Improvement 4

Finally, due to the prowlers recently being changed into the sleuths, they could be implemented into Nexus, allowing them to gather information by talking to different criminals in there while under the safety of being a bodyguard, or simply overhearing conversations in the rooms that they are guarding and working with.

Additionally, in the past, there was something called the dark auction that allowed people to bid on custom masks that were for public use on the server. This could be added to the server that allows people to buy masks or weapons that they might not have had the chance to, and can make more money for the black market that needs to pay the workers.

How would this help?

Improvement 1 - This would create a schedule for the business, causing more frequent openings for the public and allowing them to access this safe space to roleplay with the crime community. Allowing them to have more of a chance to interact without worrying about officers, fights taking place, and taking a step into the actual roleplay aspect of the server with people that they might not get to normally, as this would serve as a hub for all criminals.

Improvement 2 - This improvement would be targeted towards the business side, and simply improve the money-making aspect for the players who have to work there for a set amount of OOC time. Simply creating more of a worth for working there instead of the simple information that can be very dependent on the role of the character, and what they’re doing inside of the club at the time.

Improvement 3 - Allowing people to rent the place out, whether it be a gang or a group of criminals, would encourage roleplay and even offer another aspect of money-making in the process. The major positive of this improvement is allowing the gangs to have a space that they can roleplay if they don’t have a current turf and will allow them unique interactions or even an environment after a large-scale event has taken place. It would simply promote roleplay and the interaction between the BMDS and gangs, as they could go to the club during these events to speak with them and maybe develop a larger story.

Improvement 4 - Simply put, this allows the sleuths to be involved inside the businesses, taking place as a spy worker and collecting information inside the meeting rooms, as they would have to be there as bodyguards. This not only allows them to be more involved, but also allows them to have more of a roleplaying experience and even allows them to take information for the job that they were supposed to be doing.

When it comes to the dark auction aspect, this allows more of a money-making aspect and allows players to bid on items that they want to have, specifically the custom ones that are free to be sold. However, I’m not exactly sure if this was discontinued for a reason, but bringing it back would offer a way to make more money and a way for players to get the customs that they have been wanting that are currently freely useable.

Bullet Points
- Open Ikigai on a schedule, promoting roleplay with more criminals
- Private renting of the area for events
- Open after large-scale events to promote roleplay
- Implement Sleuths to allow them to gather information efficiently

FAQ Section Discord Addition

A simple addition that could be added to the crime server is a frequently asked questions (FAQ) channel that allows BMD’s, or the crime lead to put questions that might be popping up more than a dozen times a week. This addition would make it easier for the players who might be confused about these topics, or need a reminder, to easily access it with a click of a button instead of waiting around for someone to answer it.

Along with this, these can be updated actively to ensure that they’re up to date depending on such a change. For example, if something about a turf's danger zone changed, it could be updated easily to fit the new rule. This would also leave the more dire questions, regarding things that are more niche, to be answered by staff and the BMD’s, giving them a little less work on top of what they already have.

Event Freedom

Events are a large part of the server and crime in general, allowing the gangs to gather together to have a fun roleplay scenario, ranging from a server-wide event to one that’s between two other gangs on the server. However, one of the major issues that I’ve had with this is them, mainly during my time in Immertreu, is the lack of freedom when it comes to them. For example, when it comes to actual crime events, they must involve some sort of crime, but this also limits the freedom of gangs like Mafia’s and Yakuza’s that might want to do events that are targeted towards helping the public, like cleaning up an area and getting a positive reputation from such.

My suggestion is to simply allow these gangs to do more positive events for the community, as not all of them want to be seen as enemies to the public, and it would allow them to develop the image they want, instead of constantly having to negatively impact things.

Are you familiar with all rules pertaining to weapon profiles, combat, permissions, and player conduct on the server?

Yes, I am very familiar with rules related to weapon profiles, combat, permissions, and player conduct within the server. Over the course of three years, I have taken time to regularly read the rules and ensure that I’m aware of them. If I were unaware of any rule listed or one that has been changed, I would request assistance, as I understand the importance of knowing them as a black market dealer. Additionally, I know where to look for all these rules if I need to refresh my memory or simply look over anything new that could be added in the future.

Are you familiar with that if you leave the black market at any point, the black market lead will have permanent kill permissions on your character?

Yes, I am completely aware that if I leave the black market faction at any point, the current faction lead will gain kill permissions on my character. This is a risk that I am willing to take to be a part of the faction.

Are you familiar with that if your character(s) is/are killed or permanently arrested twice, you will be removed from the black market?

Yes, I am completely familiar with these rules and the reasoning behind them. If my character is killed or permanently arrested twice, I acknowledge that this would result in my removal from the faction, as it is the consequence and also necessary to keep the faction fair and balanced for all players.

Are you familiar with that you cannot reveal any out-of-character plans or potential additions to the black market to others?

Yes, I am very familiar with this rule, as I have been in many other factions that have the same rule of not leaking any out-of-character plans or potential additions to the faction or community. All of these plans will be kept to myself and will not be spoken about with anyone outside of the faction, as I understand this could result in removal from the faction or further server punishment.

“You want me to throw my entire hand on the table, all for a simple game of chance? You really do drive a hard bargain, don’t you? Just this once, I guess that I could enlighten you, though.”

Full Legal Name:

The room was seemingly quiet, with a soft hum of the flickering light hanging overhead, casting a pale glow across the room. Despite the effort, much of the space remained covered in darkness. The air felt heavy, almost idle, around the masked figure.

At the centre was a lone man.

Ryosuke Kirishiki rested in his chair, one leg crossed over the other as he leaned against the worn armrest. His posture was fixed, relaxed. It seemed almost too casual for who he was, something was unsettling about this, about the way he carried himself. Everything seemed measured, conditioned to his needs. Listening closely, you heard a slow, rhythmic tap against the table that’d echo around the room. Tap.. Tap.. Tap..

His index finger struck against the wooden desk with precision, each knock against the treated wood was spaced rather evenly, as though keeping pace with an internal clock. Below the individual's mask, a glint of caramel-colored eyes lifted from the desk, glaring forward at the interviewer.

The stare was not hostile, not friendly, just empty. It was like a man was examining a puzzle piece and deciding where it belonged. For a moment, Ryosuke said nothing; barely a breath was heard. The silence was stretched. It almost felt uncomfortable, then finally the corner of his lips rose upward, the faintest shadow of a smirk curled onto his lips, however invisible to the naked eye.

“You wish to know who I am?”

The question seemed to amuse him, not because it was difficult, but rather the opposite. A muffled chuckle escaped amidst the mask as he leaned further back into his chair, its frame sounding as if it were cracking beneath his weight.

“That’s quite an opening question.”

The blonde tilted his head, caramel eyes settled upon the interviewer. He seemed to study, observe, and almost judge them. Below his mask, his mouth lifted to speak.

“Tell me.”

A brief pause followed,

“Do you not perform background checks before bringing people into rooms as important as this?” He questioned.

His voice remained calm, polite even, yet there was something beneath it, something difficult to place. The kind of tone that left someone to wonder whether they were being mocked or threatened. The rhythmic tapping of his fingers halted, and silence engulfed the room slowly. An eerie silence, the sort that encouraged people to speak simply to fill such a void. Ryosuke didn’t. Instead, he watched, patiently waiting.

Eventually, he let out another quiet sigh to break the tension of his own cause.

“Ah.. I suppose that is unfair. I’ve gone through many names throughout my life, some given by friends, some by enemies, and a few… were created by people who thought they understood who I was.”

His gaze rose to the flickering light overhead, the pale glow reflected faintly into his eyes

“Funny thing about names, people become too attached to such names, they hear a name once and suddenly think they understand the person standing in front of them.”

The blonde lowered his gaze to meet the interviewer once more. He scoffed.

“As if a single word could define a lifetime, if you truly think about it, a name is just a label.”

He tilted his head, and as he paused, the room grew silent once again

“But if you’re asking about the one sitting inside government databases, the one attached to my employment records, tax forms, education certificates, medical files, every other pointless document people insist on having…”

The blonde inhaled slowly

“Ryosuke Kirishiki.”

Criminal Alias:

The room was dead silent, only filled by the faint humming of the light above the head of the masked blonde. A ray of light casts along Kirishiki’s mask, revealing the intricate design upon the surface of the object.

A faint chuckle broke the silence, detached from any such emotion erupting from the male’s lips; it was sudden, sharp and hollow. It echoed across the room, bouncing off the vacant walls of the dimly lit room. Kirishiki leaned back into his chair, crossing one leg over the other, his fingers interlaced. The contrast compared to his composure from earlier was different, almost unsettling to someone who didn’t know him… What was even funny about the question?

As quickly as the laughter entered the room, it subsided, and a silence once more echoed out, only filled by the striking of his fingers against the worn table. An eerie grin spread across the blonde's face, masked by the ink-covered smile mask that concealed every feature of the man's identity. Silence followed; Kirishiki’s eyes fixated on the interviewer who was before him, narrowing, examining them as if debating whether to tell them anything more. Trust was an earned thing, wasn’t it? Well. That was Ryosuke’s belief.

“Seems you answered my previous question.” A chuckle followed his statement, lasting for an instant before it subsided, and silence once more consumed the room.

The man adorned in green brought his hand up, running his fingertips through the strands of gold. Twisting a piece around his finger, disinterested in the current question, he was intentionally being wasted. Eventually, he cracked as a shallow breath escaped his lips, returning his attention to the person in front of him. There was no escaping the risk, despite his desire to do so.

“I’ve had plenty of different names over the years, given to me by those that fear me, names that I’ve whispered into the ears of others, but right now?” The masked individual suddenly paused, silence enveloping the room once more.

His attention remained focused, eyes piercing the interviewer who was opposite him. No words seemed to escape his lips for the moment. Kirishiki was simply shuffling around in the chair, propping himself upright and leaning over the table, fingers interlaced as if he were in some sort of business meeting. Finally, glancing around the room once more, scanning for any sort of recording device that was present in the room.

“OROCHI” He finally whispered out, his voice low, layered with mystery. However, loud enough for the interviewer to hear, but quiet enough to avoid any potential recording devices that could pick up on it.

“It means great snake, or Serpent.” He continued to mutter out, fingers once more striking against the table. Tap… Tap… Tap.. Maybe OROCHI was debating whether to give more depth to his choice of name.

“Snakes are wondrous creatures. Hidden until they’re raring their fangs at you, ready to bite.”

Ryosuke’s final statement was left to hang in the air, silence only filled by the noise of his hand digging into his pocket as a tattered business card slid out from his pocket. Sliding it across the table, close enough for the interviewer to see, but quick enough for the man to snatch it back in the blink of an eye. Inscribed upon the front was a scratched-out number reading ‘030-###-####’ and' on the other side ‘Ryosuke Kirishiki’ and ‘OROCHI’.

Gender & Marital Status:

Sudden silence filled the room as the question was asked, one that was undermined by the fact that it was long enough for the smallest scratch of a fingernail against the table to be heard. A silence so deafening that it handed out answers without words being spoken, something in the air changed, for once, this question seemed to make the man tense, almost robotic in some sort of way.

Suddenly, a huff escaped his lips, ending the prolonged silence, faint but intentional. Striking his finger against the table, matching the pace of a ticking clock, one that was absent from the room. Leaning back against the chair, Kirishiki pondered over the question, even though the answer on paper was simple and a singular word.

“Married? No. I’ve not been married in my life, or anything close to that.” He stated, voice cutting through the air, low and composed.

Once more, his fingers danced along the wooden table, lacking rhythm or anything of the sort. Was it intentional this time? Or a nervous tic that had developed? Only the green-adorned man knew the answer to that, didn’t he?

“Ties are a distraction in the world. In theory, they are a beautiful thing. However, realistically? They are an additional card in the hand of another. ” A hum followed his statement, his face remaining stone-cold. Not a singular emotion appearing on it, why would he reveal another weapon to the world? A weapon that was far more powerful than the others.

For a moment, his attention flicked to the humming light above his head, staring at it almost as if that answer wasn’t satisfactory to him. His view was captured, but only a portion of it, and so another statement followed.

“Distractions are necessary, though. Everyone needs them.”

Shuffling in his chair, Kirishiki’s green suit scratched against the table. Skipping along to the next question, as not to linger on his unusual response to the question, something about it was out of character for him, of all people.

“My gender? I’m a male. I go by he or him. Pick your poison.” A brief statement, but what more was there to add to it? It was a simple question after all.

His head flicked off to somewhere else in the room, fixated on an empty wall as his fingers mindlessly tapped away at the table. Ryosuke was simply waiting for a more intriguing question, or one that piqued his interest.

Ethnicity & Race:
Silence lingered in the room once more, common, but for a different reason than last time. A hum escaped the lips of Kirishiki as he reminisced about his past. A chuckle escaped his lips, it wasn’t humour that was expressed, rather something that was more reflective, like a memory that played in his mind. One difference was the faint smile that formed along his lips, his poker face faltering. Snapping back into reality, only by the dry cough that escaped the lips of the interviewer, adjusting himself to be more composed.

“My home country is Russia.”

For a moment, memories flooded through his mind. Reminiscing on a time that was only filled with ‘Good’ or so the distortion of his mind told him. Kirishiki slouched back into his chair, his gaze drifting to the ceiling, blankly staring at it as if it were projecting each memory onto the ceiling. Or those that could be remembered…

“Truthfully, I remember very little of the place. The streets, the people, all of it is a haze. Like a fleeting dream that you can barely hold onto, trapped in one's mind, that is all.”

A short-lived pause within his speech, continuing to hum out a tune. One that was constantly heard as a child, or one that was in a dream? All he knew was that it was linked to his childhood. His head shot down, facing the interviewer once more, his tone remained lifeless, trying to hide the true happiness that his childhood brought him.

“I moved at a young age, bounced between a vast number of places before ending up here. Russia might be my country of origin, but Karakura is the place where I was raised.”

A mocking smirk tugged at the corner of his lips, something was amusing to him. What it was, only he truly knew the answer to that.

“It’s rather funny how time slips away; each second is a currency that we trade.”

Known Languages:

The mocking smirk that tugged at his lips only seemed to grow, lingering for quite some time like a flicker of a candle before it eventually burned out. Sharp taps followed from the blonde’s pockets, each one mimicking the striking of a clock, not like there was one in the room with the two of them in the first place. . . or was there? The light that was barely hanging onto life wasn’t bright enough to illuminate the room to figure it out.

A huff escaped the man’s lips moments later, hum following to fill the brief moment of silence that had developed. All of his attention was fixated on the interviewer, who was opposing him, simply taking a moment to glance at the information that had previously been noted down on the page. Gambles were not preferred, but in this scenario, Ryosuke knew that they couldn’t be avoided; certain things were inevitable after all.

“Languages are a weapon, like a blade that can be sharpened, refined and required in certain scenarios.” He muttered under his breath, barely loud enough for the interviewer to hear.

Pausing for a long moment, Kirishiki debated. What was the man debating? Answering the question, of course, languages were a weapon in his arsenal, of course, something that gave him an advantage in certain scenarios.

“You expect me to trust you?” A laugh burst from his lips. The composure that was once held crumbled before the interviewer; something about this whole interview was amusing to him, despite the boring parts.

Kirishiki composed himself once more, silence filling the room as the debate finally came to an end. His amusement had been tamed, captured, and sealed away for the time being. His metaphorical mask was placed back on, poker face returning.

“I’ll indulge you, just this once.” Strikes of the fingers followed his words as they danced along his phone.

Another pause in his words followed, eyes darting over the shoulder of the other person in the room. Speaking out once more, his tone was cold and empty, lacking any sort of emotion.

“I know Russian and German. Each of them links to a fragment of my past that’s long forgotten. Though it’s less about their identity or their origin, but the utility that they offer.” A shake of the head followed his words, dismissing most of his statement.

“None of that matters, though, does it?”

The final question lingered in the air, rhetorical, and left unanswered or continued upon. Faint humming escaped his lips.

Former Associations/Occupations:

The gaps of darkness that filled the room from the flickering light overhead seemed to grow longer with each passing moment. Kirishiki’s hand dug into his pocket, removing his shattered phone. What had happened to it? Only he had that answer to that.

A dim glow of his phone screen washed over his mask, a shadow cast across half of it. Kirishiki’s gaze, shifting from the interviewer to the screen that was resting on his lap, fixated on the time, watching each precious second pass. Silence filled the room, one that seemed to be guarding the secrets of his past, laced with secrets that the world didn’t yet know. However, it was broken by a dry cough, one that reverberated around the room, training his focus back up and at the interviewer across the table.

“Former associations? You wish to know all of my secrets? Even the ones that I haven’t whispered in the ears of those close to me?” Whispers escaping his lips, everything seemed to be a question, ones that had obvious answers to them.

The caramel-eyed blonde extended his hand out, snatching the phone from his lap, shoving it into the depths of his trouser pockets. Pondering for a moment, reminiscing on the many different associations that he was once involved in… Could they all be remembered?

“I’ve been involved in a total of three different organisations, loyal to each one of them. Well…”

Something was off about his word, like there was a moment of hesitation. Simply shaken off by a shake of the head, allowing his fingertips to bounce along the table surface, filling the silence.

“I was in two till they disbanded and became nothing but a fragment of the city’s past, or a whisper in the wind that everyone remembers. As for the other, I left and chose my own path.” His voice was low and monotone.

Yet, not a single name regarding past affiliations was given. This game of chance, did Kirishiki still value privacy over it? Yes, but alas, he gave in, speaking in a clear, calm tone that was laced with a hint of venom.

“Immertreu Verein, Mandate and Nightfall. Served as leadership in the two, I knew the faces, the names, and the games all too well.” Each sentence rolled off his tongue, almost like this question was expected, and an answer was formulated beforehand.

Rhythmic tapping once more radiated from the desk, this time unintentionally. Eventually, it came to a stop as he let out a faint exhale, his expression darkening as if ready to unveil some sort of truth that went unspoken. One that could have been related to a group, or all of them. Ryosuke Kirishiki was the only person who knew the truth at the end of the day.

“Being surrounded by wolves eventually teaches you a lesson. You must be alone. I left, not out of fear, but necessity. One day, you’ll realise that it’s easier to disappear when no one knows what direction you're walking in, or what your next move is going to be.” To him, those words that were spoken in a clear, calm tone were like a law, one that was followed but ignored by some.

Running a hand through his golden locks, as his other hand dug into his pocket once more, bringing out the tattered business card. At first, it simply showed his name and a scratched-out phone number like before, then he extended his hand, carefully flipping the card over, hesitating for a brief moment until it finally displayed the words ‘IMMERTREU VEREIN’ in cursive.

“Here’s a piece of a puzzle from an era long forgotten, not like there was much for the other two like this. Not in my possession at the very least.”

Once his statement was completed, his hand extended out, carefully removing the card from the oak table. Skipping onto the next question as it was shoved back away into his pocket for safekeeping.

“As for an occupation… Never worked a day in my life, not like one of those big shot officers, or government workers at the least.” Venom was laced into his words, maybe it was the fact that officers were being talked about, or the government as a whole.

For a moment, Kirishiki deliberately paused as if debating for a moment. His eyes pierced the interviewer. Did they wish to know every little detail about his life?

“Though I do have a part-time job at Kirei Hana. A flower shop with an assortment of different flowers.”

A dry chuckle escaped his lips, hollow, lifeless, and lacking any sort of true emotion behind it. To some, it might have been funny, but to him? Nothing about it was. Silence once more entered the room; nothing more significant could be added to the question, not anything that was of interest at the least.

Highest Level of Education:

Sudden laughter burst from the blonde’s lips, his mask lighting up in the dim light of the room. Echoes of laughter bounced across the room, each laugh louder than the previous one, before coming to a complete halt, composing himself once more. What was funny? Only the man knew. He always preferred to be the one asking questions, rather than the one being asked, for a specific reason, one relating to his previous laughing fit. An eerie grin, curling its way upon his face, covered by the mask that sooner or later would have to be removed.

“Education? Is that really a necessary question? You really got me with that one.” He stated it out, clear as day for anyone to hear him.

A subtle scoff was heard, accompanied by the statement. The question was amusing, but pointless in his eyes, if not obvious from the previous reaction, that was.

“If you must know.” Pausing for a moment, Kirishiki debated even answering the question, wondering if this one could be skipped altogether. Not due to it being important to him, but more since it seemed pointless in his own opinion.

One more huff escaped his lips as the short-lived silence came to an end.

“A Master’s Degree in law, I know the little system this government uses… Though it had nothing left to teach me.” Maybe that was due to his own experiences or something larger.

His eyes flickered towards the desolate wall before darting straight back at the interviewer. His expression became unreadable; any amusement once given by the question faded… Just his monotone voice following his previous statement.

“Real lessons aren’t taught in the classroom, anyways.”

One finger struck against the table, as if asking for the next question.

Physical/Mental Ailments: (If inapplicable, put N/A)

Physical

Ryosuke Kirishiki brought one of his hands up, carefully placing it onto the back of his head, removing the ballistic mask that covered his face. Upon it being removed, Kirishiki adjusted his head, lighting his face up with the dim light in the room. The ray of light shone upon his face, revealing all of his features, which were filled with nothing but a plethora of different stories of his past. Tales that later could be told.

A hum escaped his lips, pondering where to even start, before his hand that was resting against the table rose, pointer finger tapping against the scars of a past fight, dropping it back to his side a moment later. The one that was shrouded by the darkness clenched into a ball, ready to strike at a moment's notice. Kirishiki was angry at himself, or someone… Who? Maybe that would get revealed in due time.

“I have this scar that rests under my left eye, revealing nothing but a tale of my own failure. A time when I was too naive.” The statement flowed from his lips, clear and not in a hushed tone like previous ones.

A faint exhale escaped his lips, calming him as his fist unclenched and once more rested against the table. Rhythmic tapping once more filled the room, becoming a distraction to avoid the previous rage that bubbled up inside of him, one that lingered in his mind. His hand lifted from the table, and rolling up his sleeve, showing off a lightning scar that travelled down it.

“Finally, there’s my unfortunate experience dealing with the wrath of Zeus, or maybe it was karma for previous things that I’ve done.” Pausing as the statement was made, like there was more to add to the equation, something that had slipped his mind.

His arm went back to leaning against the table, fingertips bouncing off the table, pondering whether there was anything else to add. Though he remained there still and absent-minded. . . Nothing more revealed. Simply waiting for another question to be asked.

Slash across his left eye - During his early days in crime, Kirishiki was naive and started meddling in someone else’s business. Later, revealing the truth of an opponent's identity, which got him into a life-threatening situation, in which a knife was pulled out by the opponent. Last used to slash across his eyes, permanently scarring them. Although lucky enough to survive, Ryosuke has to live every day with a reminder that not everything constantly works out the way you want it to.

Nerve damage / Lightning scar on his right arm - Luck was not in his favour as the shockwave of lightning boomed across Karakura, Kirishiki, and his friend at the time was unfortunate enough to be a victim of Zeus’ might lightning. Originally knocked unconscious before later waking up with difficulty moving his right arm. Even after prolonged use and rehabilitation. It never once returned to its prime state, being weaker than his left hand, causing many struggles for the blonde.

Mental Ailment

Blankly staring at the interviewer in front of him, Suke’s finger tapped against the table, each strike being deliberate as if counting each passing second. His head dropping, reality disappearing from around him for a split moment, pondering over the question… Maybe he was revisiting past comments that people made.

“Such a personal question. The answer to that is shrouded, even to me.”

His head dropped to the floor, eyes covered by the shadow that was cast by his golden-blonde hair. Humming, waiting for something almost. Though it never arrived.

“Mental ailments? No, I’m not diagnosed with any of those. Been to a psychiatrist once or twice, but nothing was ever revealed.”

Resting beside the worn desk was a brand-new duffel bag, plain in design, but it matched his aesthetic nonetheless. Reaching down into it, Kirishiki revealed a brown sealed file. One that could have been used much sooner, but alas, there was a time for everything, wasn’t there? The contents were carefully removed from the inside before the duffel was once more dropped to rest beside him. His medical records were slid across the table, on full display for the person opposing him to see. Not like there was much on it… At least on the mental ailment section.

“See, there’s nothing. My government files show nothing documented.” His voice echoed in the room, loud enough for any recording device to overhear.

Kirishiki’s hand shot out, snatching the file from the table before carefully stuffing it back into his duffel bag. Reverting his attention in front of him, fixated on getting through this hell of an interview.

ASPD (Antisocial Personality Disorder) (Undiagnosed) - This condition developed at a young age in Kirishiki’s life, causing him to be detached from any sort of emotions except for a few people in his life. The man shows many signs of ASPD, whether this be through his lack of empathy for others or simply by disregarding someone else. Ryosuke shows the main symptoms, such as a lack of care for others' feelings and constant manipulation of them for his own gain. These are issues many people mentioned to him before, but never once has the man listened to them and had them professionally checked.

Anger Issues - Anger is an old friend of Ryosuke’s, coming back to haunt him at the worst points. Even after making attempts to keep it under control, eventually all of it bubbles up inside of him before bursting out to those unfortunate enough to be in the surrounding area. Although not always harmful during these sudden outbursts, Kirishiki will always say things that are not meaningful or needed to those close to him.

Known Family Members: (If inapplicable, put N/A)
1782617576066.png
His eyes narrowed, piercing the interviewer before him, looking through them as if there were nothing but a stepping stone in a greater scheme of his. Maybe in the mix, there was a slight hint of hostility, covered by his own ego. Kirishiki’s finger drummed away, not rhythmic in pattern or deliberate for that matter. Almost as if done absent-mindedly again, each strike being sharper than the last… Was this a way to read him?

His mouth opened, but no words escaped. Almost as if there was some sort of hesitation, Kirishiki simply took that moment to ponder over the question that was asked of him. To him, family was a weakness, one way to manipulate him, or even hold leverage over him.

“You wish to know a weakness? A card that can be added to your hand to later be played against me? You wouldn’t need it for anything else now, would you?” His tone was sharp, holding nothing but venom in each word that was spoken.

Each finger continued to dance along the table, tapping, filling the silence in the room. His hand reached into his pocket, retrieving the previous business card that was thrown across the table, while his other hand dug into the duffel bag, retrieving a pen. Swiftly circling his last name and throwing it across the table, not professional, but the blonde knew what he was doing.

“The weakness that you wished to know is the Kirishiki family.” Hesitant with his words, knowing knowledge was power after all.

A distaste was left in his mouth at the simple mention of such a weakness that could easily be exploited at a later date, but alas, Ryosuke moved on with his day. Hums escaping his lips, cloaking the brief panic that swept over his mind… The card that was tossed across the table was left there, almost forgotten, lit only by the light that was above their head. Silence filled the room for a moment before his attention flicked between it and the interviewer. What more was there to add?

“Use that card wisely, if you choose to.” Something about his words was threatening and filled with hostility.

Describe your character's appearance to the greatest detail:

A displeased scowl grew across the male’s face like a shadow, creasing the skin between his eyebrows. Hidden only by the mask that covered his face, Kirishiki’s posture shifted as his finger continued to strike against the wooden table, eyes rolling before his hand reached up to the back of his ballistic mask straps.

“You want to see my face again? You’ve already seen it, haven’t you?”

Applying pressure to the back of the straps, he disconnected the clips at the back of his mask. Blonde strands of hair, covering his face, were swept away by his hand. His fingers dipped into his coat pocket, retrieving a small, compact mirror. Using it to inspect his face, not out of the ordinary for the blonde, more like a simple calculation that was assessing damage to a mask that had been worn for far too long.

“I am everywhere yet nowhere. I am hidden in plain sight amongst the crowds that you pass on your way to work. You never notice me until it's far too late.”

A short, dry chuckle escaped his lips. Amused? No. It was far from that.

“But if you must know.”

Ryosuke pushed himself up from the table, feet planting firmly against the floor. Stepping backwards so that a ray of light covered his entire body, enough to fully display himself to the interviewer who was sitting at the table. A smirk plastered across his face, fully visible for a moment before he wandered his way back to the table, once more taking a seat at it.

“Hopefully that’s enough.”

OOC

Ryosuke Kirishiki stood at a height of six feet, four inches. His posture was disciplined, his presence was composed. Strands of golden-blond hair fell messily across his face, drooping down to cover his eyes. On occasion, his hair was parted to the side, though most often left to hang over the left eye. The faded scar that diagonally cut across his left eye was covered by his hair. His scar was not subtle, however, it was not grotesque. It was just enough to invite questions that he wouldn’t ever answer.

His features are angular and symmetrical, like they were carved for a reason. His cheekbones were sharp, his jawline defined, and a pair of caramel-hued eyes in the middle that gave a piercing glance to any unfortunate soul that crossed his path. Ryosuke’s eyes lacked any sense of warmth to those who were not close to him, constantly scanning the area like he was some sort of guard, or a security camera that was uncovering crime. He rarely speaks to strangers, unless deemed necessary, but around others who knew him, it was another story.

Beneath his green-adorned suit, a trail of scars the length of his right arm, forked, jagged. These scars were evidence of a past event, one that caused him nerve damage that he could never truly recover from. The skin around them, covered by the tattoo of a black serpent, coiled around the scar almost as if trying to hide the past, not like it was doing very well at it. On his left wrist, there was a cobalt beaded bracelet, in the centre a glass talisman, and on his other wrist a worn-down watch. What actually happened to it, only Ryosuke knew.

Ryosuke has a very versatile and calculated style. He doesn’t adhere to a specific aesthetic but rather adjusts his attire and outfits based on the occasion. The only thing that stays consistent is his emerald green colour scheme. It was a shade that lingered with almost every outfit worn by him, whether it was a subtle feature on a jacket or a simple scar wrapped around his neck.

When on business, particularly regarding crime, he tends to dress nicer than usual due to his involvement with mafia’s previously. Kirishiki’s style was a reinforced overcoat with stitched-in compartments and gloves to remove any trace of fingerprints. Every single piece of his attire was intentional, created for utility and to simply intimidate those around him.

Describe your character's backstory to the greatest detail: (200+ words minimum)

The city cloaked in fog

The city of Moscow. Hazy, Kirishiki’s mind was about this place, not being able to recall any events from his country of origin. All of them shrouded in a mist, stories locked away in his memory, forgotten even to the golden-haired boy himself. However, certain things did not leave him as time moved on as the young Kirishki was naive, sheltered from the world as if everything was seen in a positive light, leaving the mist of the negative to be unveiled at a later date. Experience or lack of was an issue for him, being homeschooled could only teach him so much, and social skills? Non-existent for the young boy, not a friend in sight, or even having the experience of having one, lacking all sorts of social skills, along with communication, for a short period. His father, along with his siblings, were the only people that Ryosuke interacted with, hiding himself behind them in most situations, picking up on their traits that weren’t exactly the best. Especially since his father, like his future him, was a manipulator, liar, along with many other things that could be listed on a sheet of paper before running out of space to contain the words. . . A person that Ryosuke Kirishiki looked up to for a very long time before his disappearance, to where? Nobody knew. An event in his life that destroyed him, leaving him to escape to Karakura with the rest of his family to flip over a new leaf, a fresh new start in his life.

Drawing a new card

Karakura, a fresh card in the deck of many. A town filled with opportunity, experiences, and even the chance to be a new person, one who wasn’t afraid to face the world head-on. At the age of only Sixteen Years old(16), Kirishiki had the opportunity to broaden his horizons and soar freely, while creating a whole new life, one opposite to the one that he lived in his town of origin. Karakura was his home. The first experience that the boy got to indulge himself in was the teams, spending approximately a year as the high school swim captain, experiencing and learning social skills. A learning curve that only taught him how to read those who were around him, one of the puzzle pieces that made him the person he was in the current era of Karakura. Although friendships and relationships weren’t yet viewed as insignificant, as people constantly surrounded him, indulging them and entertaining them for no purpose at all, not even wanting to manipulate them to any degree.

Upon his exit from the high school swim team around a year after entering Karakura. Ryosuke Kirishki, unfortunately, became the target of two of his close friends. A target due to the vast number of connections that the man seemed to have with those around him, even government members, due to his family being intertwined with them. Two masked individuals, Kichiro Ikemori and Hajime Tomohiro, close friends, ones who were even told the darkest of secrets, ones hidden away from everyone and sealed from everyone that may even come close to knowing them. The two threatened Kirishiki with the personal information gained, manipulating him into giving them the information that they wanted. Something that displeased him and even caused him to bubble with anger, ready to explode at any moment, but winning was futile, he knew that. Allowing them to walk off without even an attempt thrown back towards them, fearing for his own life, not anyone else’s as a hunger for revenge began to eat away at him. Growing and expanding as time passed, slowly changing the person that he was, developing him into the manipulative person that was known.

Shrouded in the Mist

The faces of the people at the unfortunate event were covered by mist, almost like a blanket wrapped around them, hiding them from him. Kirishiki only had a singular goal in mind, unravelling the identity behind each of the two that had wronged him. A want for revenge with roots deeper planted deeper than a sapling, nothing was going to escape his grasp. The hunger for revenge slowly changed the blonde in many different ways, self-centred and doing things in self-gain became the norm, not a single care in the world given about those that were once considered friends, merely a facade grew as a mask to those around him. Time had passed, three years to be exact, and not a single trace of Ikemori or Tomohiro was found, not until one fateful day, the man was approached by an individual. Blonde, wearing a trench coat and tall, passed on information to him. The first time in three years, Kirishiki had given his trust to someone, and it paid off as the identity of one of the two was leaked. Mr Tomohiro was now in reach, followed in the shadows by him.

Unveiling History

A letter was pinned upon his door, giving a location and a time to meet with him. The chance for a private talk and a place to bite back at the one that once wronged him, revenge was nearing, and as every second passed it only began to taste sweeter. Arriving at the abandoned train station, a conversation ensued, fire blazing hot from the start of it all, ready to burn without a second thought. Each of them spitting poison at one another before eventually a fight ensued, Kirishiki falling victim to an attack with a bladed weapon that permanently left a scar on his left eye. A sign of failure, remnants of a battle that was lost by him. Tomohiro offered a moment of peace for the two. . . A singular moment that was accepted upon, Ikemori’s identity revealed to him, inching closer to him before a grin grew across his face, lacking emotion and far from welcoming. Pockets of his emptied as a knife was grasped and plunged into his opponent. . . Bitter-sweet betrayal in the moment of peace.

The Serpent of Immertreu

Time had passed since the incident in the train station, events of the story were only lost to time at each moment that ticked by. Kirishiki remains in the shadows, using deception to gain information on a plethora of things that might come in useful. A trait that caught the eye of the man who once passed on information to him, Mr Von Moltke, someone who had gained partial trust from Kirishiki, had given a business card to him. Contacting him was not on his agenda, working alone was his style, but his interest was piqued, hungry to know more about the organisation that he was invited to. At the age of twenty, Ryosuke Kirishiki also known as the ‘Serpent.’ at the time, offered to take part in the organisation, but due to his connections and one of his family members being involved within the organisation. The man was recruited as a new leadership member, leading differently from his predecessor, trusting once more in a group but only of the ones that proved themselves.

Although not lasting long, his paths once more crossed with Tomohiro. All information slowly began to be sealed from the organisation, and information learned began to be concealed and remained within his possession. Tomohiro and Kirishiki never once interacted during his time in the organisation; interactions between them were only awkward silence and daggers that pierced through one another. Eventually, tensions began to rise, and the two got into a fight, and Ryosuke chose to head his separate way from the organisation, not wanting to drag anyone else in the organisation into his altercation. Choosing peace, silence and stealth as his departure was nothing more than a way to delve further into his own exploration of the criminal underworld, while also keeping his identity hidden from everyone.

The Carousel of Progress

Immertreu Verein was a learning experience, one that Kirishiki had taken from and used. ‘Serpent’ , the name that he once went by, became a thing of the past; secrecy was key to remaining hidden even to those once trusted. Ryosuke Kirishki, formerly ‘Serpent’, wanted to create a mist around himself, hiding himself even from those who were once trusted. People were unreliable, untrustworthy, and constantly working in self-interest, or that was his view. The leaking of his identity and previous involvement in the Verein filled the city. Whispers in the ears of those who tended to meddle in things they didn’t want to, but the man let these linger as rumours eventually drowned out, forgotten. Setting a bigger goal in mind, one that would shake the criminal underworld once more, shadows were his friend till the right time to strike.

‘I move in the shadows, hiding and waiting for my time to strike.’

Describe an interaction that your character may have as a black market dealer: (This can be anything — a weapon deal, an event they may be involved in, or maybe an interaction with a gang)

Explanation: This would be an interaction that takes place before the fight club tournament, in which different gangs are invited to participate, each of which will be contacted either through Ikigai or another means. An offer would be extended to the organisation, giving them a chance to participate in this event to earn an advertisement on the wall of the club, along with another reward that would be determined at a later date; it could range from a variety of different things, such as money, weapons, or information. Each gang that is recognised by the black market will be invited to the club and to a meeting with the director, in which they will be offered the chance to place one person into the fight club for the event, while giving them a reason to start a rivalry that could later lead into something more, along with having the chance to experience detailed criminal roleplay in an environment where they won’t get caught and most importantly giving them the chance to have fun and show off their roleplay to the entire server.

[!] An encrypted message would flash upon the screen; anyone being a part of the gang would see a message in their Ikigai channel. A flood of information upon the screen, along with an invitation to meet at the fight club with their best fighter. [!]

Awaiting patiently, Kirishiki lurked in the shadows for a sign of life to be seen. He leaned in the most unusual of places, not one that would be commonly checked by someone, but if you were searching for him, then he’d stick out like a sore thumb. An eerie silence engulfed the area, broken by the sudden footsteps that echoed through the sewers as the organisation approached the meeting location. Upon their arrival, Ryosuke’s eyes remained trained upon them, cloaked by the shadows, almost waiting for them to confirm some sort of information to him, but alas, his body propped up from the wall, stepping forwards and revealing himself. “Do you come seeking something?” He spoke out, voice remaining partially hushed, not loud enough for a passerby to hear, but the right volume for the two in front of him to hear. A faint tap radiated from his pocket, striking at each passing second like there was some sort of clock in the area with them. “Do you?” Once more, it was asked, silence following as his eyes pierced the two masked individuals before him, giving them time to articulate a response.

For a moment, both people before his cast glances between one another as Orochi stared off into the distance as if watching for any more arrivals from some unknown group. His attention was returned as one of them spoke out, offering some sort of respect to the guests who were invited to the fight club. “Ikigai, right? You contacted us on that?” Silence filled the room once more, Kirishiki’s hand raising and waving the two along with him, not wanting to speak more on the issue or opportunity that they were about to be given. Not in an open area, at the very least, it wasn’t a smart move in his eyes, and his answer was practically received from their question.

The doors of the fight club were swung open, slamming against the wall behind them, ignoring the damage, Ryosuke glanced around the room, debating on a location to have this meeting. Maybe he could have been a little more planned in that regard, but this place was a safe area in his mind, one that was nearly untouchable. “You’re informed enough to know what this place is, right?” A question broke the silence as the group moved to the centre of the room. In the process, Ryo’s attention focused on the two of them. Unlike when the club was open, each word was clear and noticeably reverberating off the walls before it became eerily silent once more. His head glanced at a variety of different locations in the room, most specifically the advertisement board, as a response was patiently waited on. “The fight club? Yeah.” Kirishiki’s hands clasped together, allowing a grin to curl up onto his face. For a moment, the golden-haired blonde pondered, wondering where to even start the conversation. They knew about most of it, right? “You get the basic idea, I’ll skip over that part and get onto the more interesting stuff.”

Information flooded through the mind of the masked man, thinking about where to start. A hand rose, simply adjusting his ink-covered mask, before he once more spoke, his voice calm and clear enough for anyone who could be lingering in the club to hear. “In a few months, fight club will be hosting a tournament, and I want your gang as a contender.” Not wasting a singular moment, he was straight to the point and expecting an answer, one that didn’t require any thinking behind it. It was an opportunity in his mind. However, one spoke, asking a question, leaving a look of disgust on the face of the masked blonde. “What do we get out of it?” One of them spoke, Kirishiki instantly cutting them off as he spoke out, his words laced with venom. “Everything comes with a price, doesn’t it? Rewards will be given at a later date… If you come out on top.” There was no immediate reveal of anything of interest, not anything that would be given for simply contending.

Risk was a factor in this tournament, and time was of the essence to ensure that everyone could partake, or those noticed by the Black Market, for that matter. “You’ll get public recognition; I need a stage name for your fighter, and if you want to be involved. Now.” His voice was stern, demanding an answer immediately. There was no more time in his mind for questions, not from the group that was invited, at the very least, he preferred to be the one asking questions after all. Fixated on the two of them in front of him, casting glances between each as if hoping one would respond sooner, rather than later. Many others had to be contacted and have the same meeting before something on a larger scale could take place. “Yes, we’ll take part. I’ll message you a stage name through our Ikigai.” In response, Kirishiki offered a nod of the head, not offering a verbal response as his hand was placed onto the shoulders of the two, guiding them towards the exit of the fight club. What more was there to add? They agreed, and that’s all he needed for the moment.

Once everything was settled upon, and both parties had agreed to partake in the tournament. The man pushed them towards the door, eventually carefully guiding one through the door as the other was then shoved right behind. Not an amazing ‘goodbye’ but for now, it was the best that they were going to get. “Time is a precious thing, and I need a lot of it. You’ll be contacted at a later date. Watch your Ikigai chat.” What more was there to state? Nothing. And thus the door slammed in the faces of the two, leaving them at the door with no more questions or answers. Even if they made an attempt to knock.

[!] End of interaction [!]

Final note: This would only be a segment of the interaction, as there would be a variety of other gangs taking part, and people needed to be informed in-character about the tournament. In this scenario, he would be the director, or one of the directors, of the fight club.

Describe any other additional information that is notable in considering your character for the role of a black market dealer: (If inapplicable, put N/A)

A faint hum followed the question, Kirishiki’s lips curling up into a sinister grin. He was half-amused, half-relieved that the interview was coming to an end after what felt like an eternity. The question seemed to linger in the air for a few extra moments as he absentmindedly drummed his fingers against the table; it was slow and deliberate.

What extra things could be added? Everything had been picked away, hadn’t it? All of these thoughts were running through his mind, each thought overtaken by the moment. Allowing the silence to be broken as his finger stopped dancing along the table.

“You want more? You’ve picked away at all the layers, or so you think. However, snakes don’t show their full length until it’s far too late to run.” A momentary chuckle followed his words, amused and almost as if hiding something.

The chuckle that escaped his lips slowly dissipated, leaving only the remnant of a somewhat genuine smile on his face. For what reason? Who knew. One thing is certain: Kirishiki was ready to leave and be done with the interview. His mouth opened for one last time, followed by a brief moment of hesitation, before the words came flowing out of his mouth like a river.

“You’ll find out more if we ever cross paths again; finding out about someone is the interesting part, isn’t it? Just watch where you stand; there might be a snake in the grass.” Kirishiki muttered out one final statement; it was over now.

An eerie silence filled the room, Kirishiki’s eyes piercing the interviewer for the final time. His face was on full display, giving them one last look before his hands were raised, and his mask was clipped back onto his face. Shuffling himself out of the chair and twisting his body before walking off into the darkness of the room, no more questions asked, no more answers given. Simply leaving the interviewer with questions that wouldn’t be answered.

Left behind on the table was a card; maybe it was the infamous one that was pulled out many different times during the interview. A way for them to contact him, if this interview got him anywhere in the first place.

Additional information about Ryosuke

Stealth, Deception, Information. Each of these skills aren’t just skills to Kirishiki, they’re a habit that has been honed and refined throughout the years. Every whisper heard on the street, every mistake that a person makes, is mentally photographed and placed into a mental archive… And for the unfortunate ones, there was a physical copy. Ryosuke Kirishiki prides himself on being prepared and one step ahead of the rest with his forever-growing archive of information and evidence, even if it is mental or physical.

While operating as a criminal, he works with precise emotional detachment. Whether it be friends, allies, or co-workers, to him, they are all temporary people who can be replaced at a moment’s notice if needed. However, he’s not incapable of caring for people or holding someone close to him. Simply, the man knows how to separate his work and personal life, knowing the risk that it carries.

Due to being involved in crime from the age of seventeen(17). Kirishiki made a few reckless mistakes, one that forever left an impact on his opportunities and personal life… Gaining a total of two arrests that he views as educational learning points for himself. These valuable lessons taught him that he’s not immune to everything, untouchable, or invincible. Knowing this, Ryosuke didn’t become disheartened or give up the life of crime, instead devoting himself to perfecting the craft, learning many different ways to conceal his identity and cover up his tracks. Leaving the world to only remember him by the words that were whispered into their ears, or if they were the unfortunate ones to cross paths with him.

Final Note:
Thank you for taking the time to review and read this application. I am also aware that if I'm accepted to this role, I will have to leave KPD, which I'm willing to do.
