CHAPTER I
‘Newborn’
Yoshimasa was born in the village of Shirakawa, Japan. The village of Shirakawa was known for its vast amount of rice fields. A lot of the money made towards the village was made from the growth of its rice economy. When Yoshimasa was born it was big news in the village as a new birth had not happened for a while. Yoshimasas parents were not long term members of the village community and moved there to get away from the city. Many people in the village admired Yoshimasa the second he was born. A young newborn with golden blonde hair and bright hazel eyes. Yoshimasas’ father worked in the village's local Post Office which also worked as the Train Station. His mother did work at one of the local shops but her fall focus was now on Yoshimasa.
Yoshimasa was his Mother’s world. She spoilt him at a very young age, you would always see his Mother with him when she would get too stressed being in the house all day. She would show Yoshimasa off to all of the villages’ community, this is where it started to become worrying. Instantly Yoshi was being expected to do a lot, he was expected to work very early on and be very healthy and to make sure of this Yoshimasas Mother would make him have a strict diet and constantly help around the house. The stress never kicked in as Yoshimasa basically became used to this routine in his life, but his Father was not supportive of his wife’s obsession. Yoshimasas’ Mother apparently has had a past with being quite abnormal. Before marrying Yoshi's Father she was divorced 3 times and they were about to find out why. The strain being placed on Yoshimasa only got worse and worse to the point where village folk started to notice small things on Yoshi. His shoes would be all scratched up and when they broke he was forced to walk barefoot around the village. He did not look healthy whatsoever as you could see he would struggle to pick up medium weighted items. Village folk started to worry and voiced their concerns to his Father. This would start igniting flights between the couple. Till finally his Father could no longer handle the stress and judgement. They divorced and Yoshimasas father tried everything in his power to take full custody of Yoshimasa but all attempts failed. After the judgement, slander and overall disappointment from the people in their community Yoshimasas Mother took this chance to start anew.
All the friends Yoshimasa made, all of the memories made in that village were now being left behind. He was never allowed to say goodbye and he was quickly moved along to their new home. Yoshimasa was 10 at the time when they finally moved, he was too young to properly understand what his mother had done or was doing. He trusted his mother fully.

CHAPTER II
‘City Of Potential & Truth’
The move was done. Yoshimasa and his Mother had finally settled into their new home. Yoshimasa had not yet seen his home as he and his mother were mostly living in a nearby hotel for the week, but finally he was allowed to see his new home. Yoshi can remember looking at his Mother and she had a glow of excitement about the move and so did Yoshi. Yoshi opened the door, peeking inside of the hallway…
The house instantly had a warm glow to it. All the decorations from Yoshi’s old home were set up. The house was clean, modern and much bigger than the last. This only added to Yoshi’s excitement. He quickly turned to his Mother asking when his Father would see this, but she quickly rushed him to take a look at his new room. Yoshi being overly excited would run up the stairs.
He could see his room down the hallway. Rushing down the hallway he would look at all the photos, he would begin to notice none of his Father were put up. A sense of sombre filled Yoshi and his running would turn into walking as he goes to open his door. The light from the window would blind Yoshi.. Yoshi.. YOSHI!
*School Bell*
Yoshi would wake up. His Teacher Mr. Yamato was looking down at Yoshi while the rest of the students would begin to pack their things. Yoshi was now in his last year of middle school and his grades were doing fine but his attitude and focus in class was pulling him down. After a minute or so of scolding from Mr.Yamato he was let out with a slip to the Teachers Office. While Yoshi walked to the Teacher Office he would begin to feel anger and sadness. His relationship with his Mother has not been the best due to her recent ‘liking’ to alcohol. Yoshi would think back to yesterday when he came downstairs at 8:00PM to have dinner due to his mother forgetting again. He would hear the TV on in the living room while walking past. He would switch on the light in the kitchen and get to work.
He would begin by looking at all the spices, Yoshi had never used any before in anything he had made. He decided he would make a mix of Chicken, Beef and Vegetarian Soup. This all may seem a little excessive for a 15 year old boy but not for Yoshi. He would begin by getting the chicken and beef out of the freezer. He would then quickly take out some rice, pouring it into the Rice Cooker. While the rice was cooking he would begin to slice cuts in the beef and chicken breast. Dropping the beef onto a sizzling pan he would continue to cut up small pits of a leaf dropping it into the already made soup. Out of an impulsive decision Yoshimasa would then begin to peel some potatoes and cut some carrots. He would then combine all he has created into a bowl.

By 1:00AM he had finally finished both his ‘dinner’ and school lunch. He would take his bowl down the hallway once again walking past the living room but before Yoshi took another step upstairs he stopped dead in his tracks. Placing down his bowl on one of the steps he would slowly open the door to the living room. The smell of wine and whiskey would hit Yoshi in the face. Looking over to his mother it was apparent she had passed out on the couch. Yoshi was hesitant but pulled a small blanket over his mother. He would then quickly head back upstairs, picking up his bowl and heading back to his room.
Yoshi would flip back to reality as he was coming close to the Teachers Office. He would knock on the door before hearing a voice from the other side grant him permission to walk in.
Yoshi would bow to the few Teachers in the room. One teacher turning around looking at Yoshi with a face of disappointment and seriousness. Out of nowhere a small slice of carrot would be flung at Yoshi's forehead. That same Teacher would be the Home Ed Teacher Mr.Matsuzaki Jiro. Mr.Jiro would be one of the only teachers that were quite close with Yoshimasa. Yoshi would quickly rub his forehead questioning Mr.Jiro’s actions, quickly the teacher would reply back with the same question. This was a very common battle between the two that the whole office used too. Mr.Jiro could be the one to blame for Yoshi’s obsession with cooking, although Yoshi would never admit he had a liking to cooking. Although Yoshi and Jiro’s quarl would continue for a few moments he would quickly snap to stern look. Jiro would ask Yoshi how his mother was doing as Jiro is the only teacher that knows of his mother's problems. Yoshimasa, like usual, would blow off the question with the same reply. After some more scolding Yoshimasa was let go and was ready to head home.
Yoshimasa was not a shy student or an unpopular student. Middle school did some favours to Yoshimasa. He was a part of many sports, mainly those being Baseball & Football. Yoshimasa focused a lot more on baseball than any other sport. Yoshi would head straight home, his mother was not yet home so Yoshi went straight to his room to pack his gear for his practice later in the day. After he had all of his gear he opened the front door to his mother, clearly she had not had a good day and she would push past Yoshi, asking where he was going but clearly not actually caring. Yoshi gave her a simple reply and ran off to the field. Yoshi would find joy in many things in life, those being cooking and sports but never at home and he wonders why, but before he could finish that answer he was quickly startled by a fast on coming car that completely ignored the crosswalk light. Yoshi quickly shakes it off and heads straight to the field.
Yoshi would finish up late with the rest of his team. He is offered a ride home but he declines all requests, running off before the managers of the team could insist. Yoshi would be running home in silence. It was these moments Yoshi would begin to think, in silence and question many things. Yoshi would recall the time his father came to visit, instantly his mother argued without his father proking any sort of conflict. Yoshi sat on the top of the stairs seeing his father trying to defend himself and only trying to see his son, Yoshi felt helpless and knew that he could not speak down on his mother. Yoshi would be in a street near his home when he would see an arched object on the main road next to him, he would begin to approach the object. Yoshi could instantly tell it was a living thing, and it was, it was a small white kitten with a bell around its neck. He would slowly approach the kitten as it was injured. The kitten would flinch from Yoshi's touch, but Yoshi would sit down with the kitten in his lap. Quickly looking up Yoshi could see two bright lights and then blackness.

CHAPTER III
‘The Loss & The Gain’
Yoshi would begin to slowly open his eyes. He would see Mr.Jiro and his mother. Yoshi would be unable to hear anything, nor really see anything as his vision would begin to instantly become blurry. He could make out Mr.Jiro crossing his arms looking down to the floor and his mouth screaming. Nurses entered the room and had to take out Yoshimasa’s mother. Mr.Jiro followed. Yoshi would begin to lose focus and would pass out once more.
On September 10th, Yoshi was struck by an oncoming car. Only 30 minutes later would both Yoshi and the car wreck be found. Yoshi took a hit to the head and one of the cars tired had completely run over Yoshimasa’s left leg, cutting his leg completely open. When Yoshimasa was found he was found with a small kitten wrapped around his arms. The kitten was found deceased at the scene. Yoshi was quickly tended too and rushed to hospital. The person in the car was also struck in the head by the crash only receiving a small head injury, although the passenger did not have their seatbelt on and died on impact. Yoshimasas leg received intense trauma but the wounds were quickly sealed and his leg was placed into a cast.
Yoshi would wake up after being in and out of consciousness for the past 3 days.When Yoshi was fully conscious he was informed that his leg had received intense trauma and they had found an infection. Because of this Yoshi was informed that they would need to amputate his left leg, all the way up to his knee. From this information Yoshi was in shock, looking at his mouth for her response, but she was nowhere to be seen. It seems that Yoshi’s mother could not take the pressure of the situation and was reported to be at home. Yoshi at the age 15 sadly had to make the decision to have his left leg amputated.
Hours after surgery Yoshi was awake, days would turn into weeks, weeks into months and he was finally used to walking on a very basic prosthetic leg although he still had to use crutches. Yoshi had missed his birthday and was now 16. Because of this Yoshi was placed in his local High-school. Because of Yoshis needs he had to have a trusted guardian, his mother was questioned and looked into. Because of her recent reports and active reports from Yoshimasa she was denied custody of Yoshimasa. Yoshi decided this was the last straw and knew his mother was unable to take care of herself, and because of that he did not allow her to take care of him.
Yoshi was quickly picked up by The Saiky Family. He would quickly be taken care of by the members of the family, mainly a member called Itsumi Saiky. Yoshi would need to become used to his new leg and so he got to work, quickly learning to walk without crutches. He would begin to lead his way up to purchasing a new, stable and modern prosthetic for his 17th birthday from Itsumi. This leg would allow Yoshi to partake in sports.

CHAPTER IV
‘Karakura’
Yoshi had now turned 18. The family had moved to Karakura due to buying some new land. They would quickly make haste with tending to their new estate. Yoshi being a big help with the gardening and food for all the workers. While walking back to the estate with new ingredients for a meal he was making he could see his new school. Karakura Academics.
Yoshi would already be set in his predicted classes, all higher education as the study hours were strict in the Saiky family. Yoshi went for a while around the school with people not really knowing that Yoshi had a prosthetic. Until one class when they had P.E. It was stressed that Yoshi has some form of physical education, because of this he saw this as a good time to show everyone he has a prosthetic, to his surprise a lot of people were shocked but many also already knew. Yoshi was able to show off his skills in baseball and made it as Co-Captain, at the same time he made it as a member of the Culinary Club. Yoshi was able to do all of this with his determination. Yoshi never gave up due to his limit with his leg. Karakura was also the perfect start for him to pick up another new passion; Music. With this he created his online personality ‘SAIKY.’ where he would post his music and beats online and share it with just Karakura or the world.
One night Yoshi was taking a run around the city's shopping district. When turning the corner he suddenly tripped, he would look up and see a gang of masked individuals. Yoshi was kicked and mugged for his phone and wallet. Just before they were going to continue to beat Yoshi a stranger stepped in threatening that they had called the police and they were on their way. This scared the gang of individuals and they would run off. The stranger came over to help Yoshi up, the stranger later became one of Yoshi’s close friends, Haruhiko the Football Captain for the College. After this Yoshi lost a lot of passion for what he was doing at the time. He left baseball and took time from his job. After some time he snapped out of it with some words from his mother. He tried out for the Football Team and scored the most times out of the rest of the participants. He was quickly welcomed into the team, although this would not be the best for Yoshi.
Yoshi had become more angry, more of a show off and overall an asshole. His attitude was not the same as it used to be. He would disrespect his family members and the beliefs he once was passionate for. This all quickly took over Yoshi's mood and he knew he had to fix it. Yoshi is still in the process of becoming better.

Personality: Yoshimasa would seem to be quite calm and collected at moments. In the group he is usually with he is the one to calm everyone down. He is usually quiet and is never loud, he stays quiet until someone is out of line. He is organised and likes to keep things clean, he tends to wear gloves to avoid contact with any unwanted germs. He find joy in things such as cooking, making music and writing up plans for the Frat House. Being organised basically. Although at many times Yoshi can be quite flirtatious and gets in trouble with how many girls he flirts with.
Appearance: Yoshimasa is often seen in his jacket. He has his Tiger Framed Rayban sunglasses placed on his face almost all the time. He always looks clean and very neatly dressed, you rarely see Yoshimasa looking like a thug. Yoshimasa would always be standing up straight and walking with a strong posture. He would have golden blonde hair with hazel eyes. He would be a very attractive male.
