Describe your activity on the server:
I’ve been active on the server since I joined back in 2020, Although my activity on the server has been on and off, taking large breaks in 2023 and some parts of 2024, So 3 or 4 years. I was active in my early years on the server as a primary student roleplayer, not branching out and exploring other opportunities. However, since I've come back, I’ve been active and wanting to branch out and explore other roleplay opportunities such as faculty, gang, ect. I no longer want to stay within my bubble, as I would like to really partake in this community further.
I’d rate my overall activity a 7/10

Do you acknowledge that if you are inactive you will be demoted?:
Yes, I do and it’s completely understandable.
School Employee Role you are applying for?:
Librarian
In as much detail as possible, describe the employee role you are applying for:
Librarians are known for their extensive knowledge and passion for books, reading, and writing. Though their passion extends beyond that of their love for literature but also their love and passion for showing and sometimes teaching kids the wonders and joy an amazing book could bring. Their job is to not only show and teach kids about books, but to also help them explore topics and genres they enjoy and help them discover new ones. Although a Librarian’s job isn’t just about teaching kids, they’re also the upkeepers of the library. They maintain books, make sure isles are sorted and books are neatly placed, as well as maintain the study room. Librarian’s duties also consist of keeping track and loaning library cards to students to freely check out books for their personal use. A Librarian’s job may not be as hands-on as the rest of the faculty but they’re just as passionate in helping kids as any other role at the school.
What experience, in general, do you have in roleplay?:
I’ve been roleplaying ever since I was a kid. I was first introduced to the genre a long time ago through YouTube and found it extremely fascinating. I then found ways to roleplay with others on mobile whether it be through Minecraft or other games, though I never took it as seriously and didn’t find any particular nuances until I found out about SRP. SRP was an eye opener into the many things that came with roleplaying and creating stories. It's taught me so many things about writing and it’s been a blast to grow and learn as a writer as well as interact with so many talented people. I want to continue growing and learning new experiences with writing and I believe this is a great step for it.
Why do you want to join the School Employee faction?:
I’ve been roleplaying on SRP and in general for a very long time. It’s been truly an amazing experience, however throughout my years on this server, I’ve never joined a faction or given it much thought in doing so as I was content with where I was. However that has changed as I stated in my previous answer, I’ve been wanting to experience new things and create newer stories for my characters. I’ve been wanting to interact with others in different ways as well as create entirely new scenarios. The librarian is a whole new stepping stone for me that I’d love to explore and experience new roleplay opportunities with.

Situations
During a work-shift a student starts cursing at you for being pathetic, how does your character react?:
Koshi would be sat in his chair, humming briefly as he tapped the desk with his index finger, his gaze stern on the student in front of him, though letting them fully get their words out of their system before replying. “Must ya’ be so vulgar? Now I understand bein’ upset, but that is no way ta’ treat an adult.” His gaze would soon soften with a quick exhale as he continued with a softer tone. “I know ya’ must be upset, but there are other ways ta’ treat others, not just adults, ya’ hear? Now is there a book you’d like ta’ read? Or maybe just relax an’ cool down. It's nice and quiet in here.”
You notice two students are physically fighting in the hallway, – multiple punches have been thrown – how does your character react?:
Koshi is a pacifist, he’d rather avoid fighting and conflict above all else in any scenario. However despite this, Koshi would immediately pull out his radio and inform other faculty of the ongoing fight and request for assistance if needed. Once he done so, he’d approach the students and immediately raise his voice and shout commands for the students to break it up. Although if his command fell on deaf ears, he’d immediately get between them and attempt to physically break up the two, despite his smaller frame. Once the fight had been broken up, he’d take both students to the nurses office where he’d scold them both on how dangerous their actions were while listening to their reasonings for fighting. Dependent on their reasons, he’d give them detention or let them off with a stern warning.
Another school employee is clearly acting inappropriately, doing something very dangerous on the job, how does your character react?:
Koshi is generally a kind and gentle individual, he prides himself on helping others and treating them with respect. Although seeing a school faculty member doing something that could not only endanger themselves but others too would frustrate and irritate Koshi. He’d approach the individual and ask of their doings before he attempted to get them out of danger without endangering himself. If successful, Koshi would drag the individual to the side and scold them of their malpractice and document it. Soon reporting the incident of their dangerous acts, but include whether or not it was accidental or purposeful to make sure of full context.
When in the employee break room, how does your character act?
Koshi can be an outgoing person when he’s not lost in his own thoughts or glued to a random book he was reading that week. He’d greet other faculty and teachers fondly with a smile and wave, usually asking them how their day has been going and spark up a conversation. Other times he’d be in his own little world, whether it’d be in a book or in his head, but he wouldn’t be against greeting a member if they spoken to him first.
Provide us with at least three detailed /me's of your character whilst on your chosen role:
/me would be sat silently at his desk, lost in his own thoughts as he basked in the peace and quiet the library brings. He’d then jolt up, being snapped out of his consciousness with the student in front of him. “Oh! Sorry abou’ that, I was lost in my own head.” He said with a small chuckle before continuing. “Ah, a library card I see!” He’d say before he began typing in on the computer, looking up details and information. He’d then gently slap his hand on the desk, pulling out a library card with a smile. “Here ya’ go! Just be sure not ta’ lose it, or damage those precious books, there’s a nice fine for that kind of thing! Have a good day!”
/me stopped in his tracks as he turned his head towards the student with a confused expression before soon smiling at them, listening to their request. “Library? Well yer’ in luck! I was jus’ headed that way. Yer’ more than welcome to follow me if you wish.” Koshi said with a soft tone that was accompanied by a chuckle. “Come on an’ be sure ta’ pay attention to where we’re going, the school’s pretty big.” Koshi gestured with a wave of his hand as he then began to continue towards the library, making sure to keep a steady pace to make sure they’re able to remember and mark their way.
/me was taking books from the shelves and putting them in the proper places as well as reaching down and picking up books that had scattered throughout the floor of the library from students who either didn’t care to put them back or simply forgotten. He’d be organizing and cleaning the library for the day with a smile until the student next to them grabbed his attention, turning his head to meet them. “Ah! Yer’ looking for the history section then. It’s right on the other side of me. Make sure ta’ put it back where ya’ found it, please. I jus’ cleaned this place.” He requested before going back to organizing the shelf, humming a tune in the process.

Backstory
Born on February 12th 1997, in Kyoto, Japan the third and final child of the Yazuki family was born, Koshi, a frail and pale, though healthy child with a pair of soft blue eyes. Koshi was a quiet baby, it was rare for him to cry or ever scream out as a normal child would, the times he did so were far in between, though, were loud enough to call attention to anyone in the vicinity. At the age of 4 Koshi began slowly learning Japanese Sign Language as his mother was born deaf, her major way of communication was signing, though it was a slow start Koshi began learning to become fluent in the language with the help of his sisters. As Koshi grew older, Koshi began to take a more feminine physical appearance, accompanied by him being the only male in the home with two sisters and a mother. His actions and character began taking on feminine demeanor as well. His father being never around, he had never met or had anyone spoken about him, he never found out what happened to him, either he was dead or just left was his own guess, though Koshi lived with the thought that his father was still alive and out there somewhere.
Koshi was soon brought into a private school at the age of 7, he had started late due to his mother’s growing concern of him and his feminine nature, believing that he’d be bullied in school because of it, because of this, Koshi’s mother had him homeschooled for two years before finally being convinced to be let into an actual school by his sisters who were concerned that he’d be socially stunted by being homeschooled. Though Koshi's mother's concerns were not unjustified as Koshi was soon questioned about his appearance and demeanor at the school, being confused with a girl, others began to tease and taunt Koshi upon finding out who he really was. The bully and harassment Koshi had undertaken from other students at the school was no doubt a toll on his mental health, he grew up as a pacifist and was raised by his family to always seek a different option. Due to not only this, but his small stature compared to others made him an easy target that did little to defend himself. However, the life he endured during school was taxing to his mental health, Koshi’s sisters were a light in his darkness as they treated him with respect and kindness and although they couldn’t protect him during school as they were not in his classes, much less schools, Koshi had always had people to look forward to and to go to when times had gotten too rough for him to handle. Due to this, Koshi had never really changed the way he acted and the way he looked, his sister’s and mother’s support had always allowed him to be who he was comfortable with being, despite the harassment and disapproval of others.
Koshi’s family were bookworms, they read and loved books so much so that they had an entire library in their own home to go to and read whenever they liked. With Koshi being surrounded by such things and people, he took up the knack for enjoying and appreciating books. Starting off with usual illustration books for kids that soon turned into large novels as he grew older. His love for reading carried over to his Academics, excelling in classes that dealt with reading and writing. He prided himself of his large variety of genres, being able to get enthralled in any genre he read, as he usually stated “There's no book that you can't get involved in, even terrible books have some imagination!”
Koshi soon graduated from Horikawa HighSchool, at that point in his life, his sisters were already in college and on their way to achieving their dream jobs in life with one becoming a teacher whilst the other on her way to becoming a psychiatrist. Koshi looked up proudly to his sisters and wanted to follow their footsteps. Though instead of attending college within his home country and city. He decided to study abroad in France, due to him not only wanting to visit there but to gain experiences in another country he didn't quite get in Japan.
Koshi spent four years in France, learning the language and studying in college abroad. He eventually majored in Educational Psychology as he was inspired by his sister who went into the psychological field and although his experience during his younger years with other kids weren't great. He decided he'd give them another try and study the psychology of kids and students. Once Koshi graduated in France, he decided to move back home and take a break for a year or so, staying with his mother and visiting his sisters before he was comfortable with being back in Japan and branching out to the educational field.
Koshi's sister recommended him to go visit Karakura and teach there to see how he'd enjoy it, however Koshi wasn't planning on teaching kids, but rather becoming a librarian to show kids to wonders and specialty books can bring for others. Koshi then soon moved away from Kyoto and to Karakura in the hopes of becoming a librarian.
Motivation for Joining KHS (Character perspective):
I was graciously recommended to your high school by my loving sisters. Although I have not a clue what their experience was in Karakura or Karakura High, I’ve only heard great things from your school. Though my motivation for becoming a faculty in general is a bit more personal as I’ve always had an affinity and love for books and I’ve noticed how kids nowadays are beginning to read less and less. I want to show kids and students alike the joys and imagination reading books can bring, especially to those young and already full of imagination, it can be a chance to expand upon their own imagination. There are millions of books out there and I want to show students that there are at least a few out there that could pertain to their own likings and hopefully spark a certain joy in it like my sisters showed me so long ago.
Why should you be accepted over the other applicants?:
Showing students certain books, creating a connection to those who don’t feel as if they need it, is my pride and joy. I studied in educational psychology purely because I noticed how first impressions were everything when it came to anything. If a student finds a book that’s not to their liking and they deem boring, more often than not a student will have a less impressionable view on books as a whole without taking into account the different genres, styles, and unique qualities certain books bring that are wildly different than other certain books. First, second, and even third impressions are everything and I want to be available to show students the right books that they’d be looking for and actually be interested in to spark a connection with literacy. I’d love to build connections with students and be able to recommend literature that I know that they’d enjoy and appreciate, because there’s nothing better than finishing an amazing story you yourself enjoyed.
