Describe your activity on the server:
I have been playing on this server since 2022! (I’m just stat padding btw, I logged on once in 2022 and that was in January..) But seriously though, I started playing SRP almost everyday during 2023 as that was when I first started playing the basketball plugin! After about a month I joined a basketball team and ever since then I have always been on a basketball team, (aside from one six month break I had in 2025!) so I’ve been very active! I just recently left the College Males Basketball team that I have been on for 2 years and one month straight… My longest run on a team yet! Which does eclipse the rest by a little under a year so I am giving myself a pat on the back for that one!
I still plan on being active, logging on at every opportunity I can past my job and college workload! I have been managing both of them for over a year while being on the team so I’m confident I’ll be just as active as I have been.
As a TLDR and more direct point, I can log on usually every other day during the week, and for the weekend I am usually always on after or before work for a good few hours every session.

What is your motivation for applying?:
It would be very cinematic and cool to have one burning passion or reason to apply for KPD but honestly, I just want to have some fun exploring this side of the SRP community! I’ve seen KPD do a lot of work that seems fun and I’ve hung around KPD doing their jobs just to watch them, (I promise I’m NOT a weirdo guys…) and all of the roleplay situations I've seen them in seem intense and thats fun!? There are also many times when they are just patrolling around and that seems really fun to do with a friend! So basically, I’m applying to have some fun with my friends on the force!
What knowledge do you have of Police Work?
In terms of Police Work knowledge, I have no Police work knowledge. (I watched Dexter)
BUT! In terms of looking through available channels, forums, other apps, and talking to buddies who are IN KPD, I am now slightly informed! Just mostly on basic stuff anyone could find if they look for the information, like I have, along with some tips and real life scenarios and tendencies of players from my friends in KPD! I’ll section and summarize what I know so bear with me!

What's your character's full name?:
Leona pushed the door open with one hand with just enough force so it didn’t slam against the wall but still creaked as it pressed against the stoppers installed in the hinges. She looked the interviewer up and down with a smile and scrutinizing gaze, Was she being interviewed or..? With her attitude and confidence of entry it was hard to tell. She sat down and crossed one leg over the other, placing her hands over each other on top of her right knee cap. “My name is Leona Mangkr, make sure to remember it.”
How old is your character (if accepted)?:
Her right hand gripped her left tighter as the question left the interviewer's mouth but she maintained her smile! Where years of managing her anger issues has brought her! No crashout Leona! No sir! She tilted her head to the side ever so slightly as she spoke, “I’m 26 years old. I know I look much younger than I actually am!” She furrowed her brows as she posed a question back, “Right?”
What are your character's gender and pronouns?:
Leona fixed her expression and straightened her back, her expression softening into a neutral smile, “I’m female, obviously,” - She said as she glanced down at herself for a moment - “and I go by She/Her. Thanks for asking.”
Please select your highest academic role at the time of writing this application:
(Grade-12/Bachelors/Masters/PhD):
She glanced around the room for a moment as she looked back at the Interviewer with a mostly perfectly controlled smile, “I dropped out of College after I left the Basketball Team, so technically Grade-12.”
What languages does your character know besides Japanese?:
She rolled her tongue along the roof of her mouth as the question rolled off. She spoke Russian but it had been a while… Oh well. She pressed her thumb into her own palm until an audible ‘pop!’ rung out. “I speak Russian, a bit rusty and a heavy Japanese accent but I can speak it fluently.”
Describe your character; how they look, what makes them unique?
Leona stands at only 5'0 / 152 cm, but her presence is far larger than her height suggests. A 26-year-old Japanese woman, her posture is straight and confident. Her style shifts between two extremes. Some days she is incredibly well-dressed, looking polished and stylish as if she planned every detail. Other days she looks terribly comfortable, choosing relaxed clothes without caring what anyone thinks. Either way, she wears it with confidence and an eagerness to snap at anyone who calls her out. Beneath that attitude, however, there is a constant effort to manage the anger she keeps tightly contained.
How does your character act in a professional/casual situation?
She crossed her arms beneath her bust and raised an eyebrow at the interviewer, her expression shifted from a pleased smile to a questioning gaze.. Oh shit. She fixed her expression and her posture to be respectful and subdued, as much as she could be, before speaking evenly. “I have to be honest and say I act in completely different manners when I am on and off the clock. In professional settings I tend to take care of my appearance and attitude as much as possible” - She glanced down at herself, lightly gesturing to her outfit and flicking her hair back - “I always try to let people who are breaking rules or doing something wrong in front of me have a second chance, but that's all they get.” She huffed, lightly annoying herself as she remembered a few events from the past. “In casual settings.. Well, I don’t fully let myself go as I’m not stupid enough to forget that my actions, even outside the clock, have an impact on my image and work. But I always try to be as comfortable as possible. That’s all I’m saying.”
What is their outlook on the idea of co-workers & teamwork?
Her smile brightened and widened for a single moment, rolling her shoulders backwards before speaking freely. “I played basketball all throughout Highschool and College, so I know how valuable teamwork and co-workers can be. A lot of people only see value in teamwork and knowing their co-workers for emotional support in stressful and dangerous jobs like this- which, obviously, are true and very real benefits but I won’t dwell on them. The value a lot of people miss is the image it presents outwardly. A linked, united, and organized unit radiates confidence! Radiates a sense of security and relief! Ever seen that one anime? My Hero Academia or something along those lines- A strong unit is a Symbol of Peace. That's how I see it.”

A Violent Nebula
(Age 0–14)
Growing up, Leona’s house was loud. Like, all the time. Her early years were basically just one long screaming match between her parents that eventually ended in a messy divorce, splitting her whole world in half. Her dad handled things his own way. He definitely wasn’t the best Father, but he wasn’t the worst. She remembers the distinct sound of him ripping the velcro on her boxing gloves in the garage, telling her that the world was going to try and make her swing blindly so she had to be the one holding the reins. Her mom was the total opposite. She cared way too much about discipline and school. Leona can still picture sitting at the kitchen table, staring at another suspension slip and listening to her mother lecturing her about how punching people doesn't solve her problems. But calming down just wasn't that simple for her. Back then, even a dumb joke in the hallway ended with bruised knuckles. She burned through middle schools so fast that her mom eventually just pulled her out to be homeschooled. The house got a lot quieter, but that heavy, explosive feeling in her chest never really went away.

A Burning Star
(Age 15–23)
High school should have been an absolute disaster. The older kids quickly figured out she had a short fuse and practically made it a game to try and see how little would set her off. She still remembers this one afternoon when an upperclassman shoved her hard into the lockers. Her knuckles went white. She was honestly half a second away from throwing a punch that probably would have ruined her life right then and there, but then a basketball slammed against the metal lockers next to her, and her team captain yelled at her to get on the court. That stupid rough leather ball basically saved her. Morning drills and exhausting sprints gave her somewhere to put all that anger. Basketball forced her to work with other people, which was totally new. She figured out pretty fast that if she lost her temper and fouled out, she was screwing over the whole team. Having to hold herself back from swinging at the other team after a dirty play taught her more about discipline than her mom ever did. She learned to swallow the fire and just play harder instead. That drive actually got her a spot on a college roster. College was a completely different nightmare though. Playing for scholarships, dealing with scouts, holding up the university's pride—it dug up all the anger she thought she’d finally buried. The locker room drama and coaches treating them like pieces of meat got way too loud. The breaking point happened in an empty locker room after a massive blowout with her head coach. She looked in the mirror and realized the court wasn't an escape anymore; it was just a different kind of cage. So she quit. Dropped out, packed up, and walked away.

A Quiet Constellation
(Age 24–26)
After ditching the crazy pressure of college sports, Leona spent a couple of years just drifting around quiet, unfamiliar towns. She really needed the space to just breathe and let the dust settle for once. Without the constant rush of basketball or the fighting from when she was younger, she finally figured out how to just exist in silence. She didn't have some crazy movie-style epiphany, either. It was mostly just watching people while she traveled. She kept seeing these teenagers acting out in rundown parking lots, picking fights over nothing or just screaming at the world because they were frustrated. It was honestly like looking into a mirror. She knew exactly what that raw, undirected anger felt like, and she knew it would burn them alive if they didn't find a place to put it. Seeing those kids kind of gave her a wake-up call. She realized how many people out there were exactly like she used to be: written off as “troublemakers” and drowning in feelings they didn't know how to handle. They didn't need to be locked up. They needed structure, and they needed someone who actually got what they were going through. So, she decided to step into a job where she could actually give them that push in the right direction, or at least reel them back in after they’ve already gone astray. At twenty-six, she still gets mad. The anger hasn't magically disappeared, but now it usually comes out as biting confidence instead of blind rage. It doesn't control her anymore. The chaotic mess of her past finally settled into a pattern, and now she uses that energy to guide people forward instead of just burning everything down.

Can you legally own a pocket knife in Karakura?
“No.” Leona blurted out before thinking. She blinked and stayed silent for a moment before clearing her throat and continuing, “You cannot legally carry or own a pocket knife, Obviously. The charge for owning one would be 3 months of jail time. That also goes for any weapon that could cause extensive harm.”
Name 5 medical items that do NOT require a prescription
Leona lowered her chin ever so slightly, having to look UP at most people has to be unhealthy. She drummed her fingers against the side of her knee as she thought for a moment before speaking. “I know you don’t need them for canes and eye patches, some people are weird and get them for fashion.” - She rolled her eyes, some people were real weirdos. - “A few household medications like Melatonin, Paracetamol, and Multivitamins… I’m pretty sure.”
If you see your co-workers physically abusing an inmate, what should you do?
She frowned at the question as quite a few scenarios ran through her mind, calming and recollecting herself quite quickly as it showed on her now collected expression. “Obviously I would stop them. No matter who or what that inmate did they are still human and deserve a semblance of sympathy, even if they don’t deserve respect.” She adjusted her crossed arms beneath her bust with a huff. “I can imagine how emotional people can get but when you are in this line of work when everything we do is scrutinized… I would report everyone involved to avoid something like that ever happening again.”
What should you do if you see your co-worker being assaulted?
Leona tilted her head ever so slightly to the side as she pondered over the question; What you should do, not what you would do. She adjusted herself in the seat and smiled before speaking. “I would get in between my co-worker and his assailant and do two things; First, I would quickly call for backup, since I don't know if the situation will escalate further. Second, I would immediately move to arrest whoever is assaulting my co-worker. Assaulting an officer is a crime.” She stared at the interviewer with a strained smile, just thinking about someone hitting a co-worker she might like is already making her mad.
What do you do if you find out that your co-worker is corrupt and is helping criminal organizations?
She furrowed her brows for a fraction of a second, shifting in her seat as her smile widened. The thought of someone she trusted turning out to be not only corrupt but also a traitor was really testing her thinning patience. She cleared her throat and calmed down, “First, I wouldn’t interrogate or confront them directly, I wouldn’t even try to change my demeanor when interacting with them until I am able to get into contact with my superior with enough evidence of my co-worker being corrupt and a traitor.” Leona took a deep breath, calming her nerves and continuing. “If the co-worker is someone I am personally and, or emotionally involved with, I would abstain from any further action as I wouldn’t be fully impartial.”
How would you react to a criminal trying to bribe you?
Leona’s smile widened into a grin before it reverted back to a plain corporate smile. “I would first attempt to give the civilian an out by asking what they expect of me and ask why they would give me something at that moment. If they still continue to attempt to bribe me… Well, I gave them a chance to take it back. I would immediately arrest them on the spot for attempting to bribe an officer.” She nodded to herself, running the very situation in her mind, seemingly increasingly pleased with herself as she thought of small tweaks and changes to her exact sentences.
