Why are Teachers so important to SchoolRP?:
Teachers are important to SRP because they offer not only roleplay opportunities to other players to form friendships or just roleplay something different, but they also provide homework which can help players earn education credits to get to college, which motivates people on SRP to attend classes like an actual school! They also help keep the peace (or try to) by helping students, stopping fights, and keeping people safe!
Do you acknowledge that if you are inactive you may lose your role?: Yes
Do you agree to undergo teacher training if your application is successful?: Yes

What's your character's full name?: Eliza Esposito
What is your character's nationality?: Japanese
What is your preferred subject to teach?: Physical Education
Describe your character:
Eliza is 6'0, blonde with a single blue eye. Her other eye is missing due to an accident she had as a reckless teenager. Eliza is a very calm and rational woman, who would rather let students live and learn from their mistakes as she had as a teenager. She will offer guidance and kindness while keeping those boundaries between student and teacher. She speaks 3 languages on top of Japanese, which are French, Italian and Russian. She was raised by a no-nonsense Russian man who is no longer around, but has trained herself both physically and mentally for track. Eliza joined track as a Bobcat and re-joined the team as a Spartan after graduation. Eliza also works in a tiny cafe outside of the island town, which is where she spends all of her down time (Aka when I'm not online) and she plans to eventually settle down with a family and live a quiet life, after hopefully inspiring the next generation of sports stars.
What is your character's outlook on students and co-workers?:
She loves learning, even as an adult, if a student or co-worker were to teach her something new she'd take it in gratefully. She understands that there is a boundary between staff and student, and keeps those boundaries in place when dealing with student issues. In regards to co-workers, Eliza is always open to befriending her fellow faculty members and attending fun and creative events. She will gladly sit in the staff room with a coffee, or even stand at the front desk, to socialise with them.
What is your character's motivation for teaching?:
Eliza had to teach herself almost everything that she knows about track and field. It was only in class, with Miss Somi that she learned that teaching could be made fun. She strives to make learning as fun for her students as it was for her, and hopefully encourage them all to stay a bit more fit and active while taking care of their bodies and mental health.
Roleplay Scenarios
A student in class is struggling to understand the content, what would your character do?:
She'd find other ways of explaining it, using easier examples that the student found interesting, video game characters, food, etc. and if that didn't work, She would put it into a physical demonstration.
A student is continuously being disruptive in class, talking out of turn, and making jokes with classmates. What would your character do?:
She has a two strike rule, instead of three strikes. A student will be told twice to behave and stop whatever they're doing. On the second warning, she tells them that the next time they misbehave they will receive a detention for disruption. If they continue even after the detention, they will be removed from the classroom.
Provide at least 2 interactive class ideas related to your preferred subject:
A swimming class, and for those who can't swim, swimming related colouring. She's not gonna make them sit there and do boring work while their classmates get to swim and have fun!
A mini triathlon of sorts, where students will be given a course to follow by running, 'climbing' in the sense of climbing the stairs, swimming, dodgeball, and then back to the classroom!
