What is your motivation for applying?: I miss the times I had in the police force. I miss being a police officer and everything that comes with it in general. I view resigning as a mistake and want to correct my mistakes by coming back and climbing through the ranks once more. Through the toxicity and everything else against police officers--it was still enjoyable and the memories I’ve made through being a police officer can’t compete with any other memories I have.

Do you understand Japanese Laws and Basic Conduct?: I do. As I was an officer before, these are familiar to me.

What are the Police ranks?:
Normal division;
Cadet - Default rank upon entering the KPD. Vigorous training lies ahead to prepare them for the cadet test. Can fail two times before being demoted.
Patrol Officer - Recently passed the cadet test and were promoted. Can patrol alone and leave the front desk.
Corporal - Trial period to see if you are fit for being a trainer. Able to also switch divisions at this point, if applications for said division are open.
Sergeant - Preparing to be a lieutenant is the next step after corporal.
Lieutenant - Considered a “higher-up” and given many items and permissions. Some of them include a Glock and a car.
Head Lieutenant - Looking over others under them and having to be fit for the role. Only certain people get this and are trusted.
Captain - Looking over the rest of the force and deciding if cadets get promoted or not, through the cadet test.
Commissioner - In charge of the police force. Leading the force with maturity, deciding every little thing about how the police force runs and operates. Making decisions above everyone else.

Investigator division;
Trainee - Recently became a corporal and applied to be an investigator. Accepted and going to go through vigorous training. Tested when deemed ready.
Investigator - Recently promoted after passing a test. One step closer to being a higher-up and being trusted to do more things revolving around the investigator division.
Senior Investigator - Considered a higher up and able to train investigator trainees. In charge of them when investigators are not around.
Head Investigator - Leads the investigator division. Decides when someone can be removed off trainee.

What knowledge do you have of Police Work?: I have a lot of knowledge about the police force in general. In character and out of character. Most of the time when first accepted, its a lot of training that seems to get repetitive at times, to make sure the cadet(s) being trained to pick up on it. And a lot of the time it’s sitting at the front desk and doing front desk duties. I used to be a cop before, and there were a lot of things I was allowed to do. Go through S.A.T training, sit at the front desk, search for wanted individuals, pat people down for wearing masks, doing reports, filing reports-- arresting people, writing down the arrest, calculating bails, patrolling. I was even able to train cadets, and I feel like I have extensive knowledge of police work, on SchoolRP at least. Being a cop may be stressful but they have to pull through and do what officers do best. Protect and serve. I was also a trainer in my time of being an officer. Trainers are meant to be role models and have extensive knowledge on what to do and how to do it. Police codes are also used when conversing between other officers. EMS and the Police Force are meant to work together and share 110 between each other. However, there is a Global Radio for both EMS and Officers, a radio just for EMS and the same for Officers. A lot of officers' work is responding to calls, doing front desk, or training cadets/investigators for certain ones.

Why are Police important to SchoolRP?: Without police officers, there would be a lot of crime. A lot of unprotected civilians and actions against the law. With nobody to keep them in check, it would be mayhem and, eventually, the time on SchoolRP would become less and less enjoyable as time goes on. All that would prevail would be pointless assaults, crimes-- and people getting away with said crimes. A lot of roleplaying would just be public assaults and crimes, whereas people would abuse there not being cops and do whatever they wanted if it abided by the rules. Despite SchoolRP and its name, a lot of events happen off of school grounds rather than on, and teachers/school employees don’t have authority off of school grounds.

Do you acknowledge that you're subject to being demoted if accepted at any given time?: I do acknowledge this and will do my best to not have this happen. I will accept it if it does.

Do you acknowledge that applying for this role, you are agreeing to be 100% dedicated to the Police Officer role?: I do. I would accept nothing less.

Do you acknowledge that if training is held whilst you are online, you are authorized to attend or you will be punished [Demoted]?: I understand and will do my best to make it to most if not all training’s hosted. Even if I’m not online.

Do you acknowledge that you’re subject to IC harassment, and you are NOT to take things OOCly when dealing with training & situations?: I do, and I plan on nothing being taken OOC. In character remains there.

In-Character (IC) Section
CHARACTER KNOWLEDGE

Tell us about your character, how he looks, what makes him unique?: The girl standing before you appears to be kind, with a smile always on her face and a dimple on her right cheek. No matter what happens, she has always been a cheery individual and seems to brighten up the people’s days and attitudes around her. Softer facial features and warm looking blue eyes, straight brown hair; she appears to be wearing a pristine, straight uniform. There isn’t much that makes her unique besides the way she looks and acts, she treats everyone equally unless she has to get attention, then she raises her voice. She’ll never raise her voice if it’s directed at someone. Despite being this kind, she does know how to do the job and how to act appropriately. Not to hug people arrested, etc.. basic things.

What he's like on and off the job?: On the job, she is professional and to the point when out, whether it be patrolling, going after a wanted fugitive-- etc., but with her co-workers, she’s easy-going, yet remains respectful to higher-ups if they don’t like her being too ‘buddy-buddy’ with them. She doesn’t let her personality get in the way of her job, acting accordingly to the way a cadet should act. Respectful, following orders, good behavior-- etc. Off the job, she simply acts as she would normally, except a bit more ‘goofy’, less formal. Respect is still there for each person she works with when off duty.

Outlook on his co-workers? Plans for the future?: Every co-worker she has is respected, has a certain respect for everyone, cadet or not. Everyone isn’t ‘equal’ in her eyes, regarding her co-workers, rank wise, but she respects each of them individually for their reasons. Whether it does be because of their rank, or not. She is nice to everyone and has no reason to not be. Cheerfully greeting each of them. Her plans for the future? Staying into the force until she’s forced out of it. Only one way, too. Death. She doesn’t have any plans other than spending her entire life expectancy from the time she applied, to being accepted in the police force.

BACKSTORY
For starters, Emmeline was born into a happy family, as most started in one, not as an only child, her brother being born a few years later, yet not wanting to be involved in his life as a teenager, focusing solely on her education. At first, her parents were shocked to see she was female when they were expecting male, yet were overjoyed nonetheless. They raised her right, the father was loyal, as was the mother. Nothing went wrong in her life, unlike many people who had an unlucky upbringing, hers was perfectly fine. She excelled in school when she was old enough to go, often bringing home certificates of “honor roll” and “high honor roll” home, proudly showing them off to her parents which would earn her a trip to her favorite ice cream place. Her life was extremely easy from Preschool to Kindergarten, through Middle School and High School, except that is where it changed. She kept going through “funks” as her parents would call it.

Her interest in Law peaked at the age of 15, where she started to become her self, not what her parents wanted, this disappointed them and their relationship was becoming strained, yet she never showed it and always gave them the same amount of affection; what they did not give her. She has always been a mature person, yet she started getting closer to her brother and making friends while taking an interest in Law, and everything revolving around it. She would enroll herself in classes revolving around the law, and the law itself, such as things that would make her a good lawyer, and familiarize herself with all different types of laws. Eventually, she did realize she wanted to presume a career as a Police Officer, and she talked to her counselor at school about this plus her parents, they did not agree and still have not to this day, but she never let it deter her and still has not. She went through the remaining years of her high school with ease, keeping to herself for the most part except her group of a few friends and her brother.

Once she graduated high school with an Honors Diploma, she had been working a part-time job for her remaining two years and had racked up enough cash to get herself an apartment, away from her parents, which she did and moved in there with no trouble whatsoever. She rings up her parents after a few months of little conversation, telling them of her decision to enroll in a Police Academy, which she did after she hung up. She aced her Law Enforcement Exam, only missing a few somewhat trivial things. She attended the Police Academy, graduating after a few months, around 6-7, getting a certificate that officially makes her able to be a Police Officer. She was overjoyed, calling her brother up immediately and telling him the news, he was overjoyed for her as well as her parents, surprisingly, since they never supported her career choice from day one when she told them.

A few months after looking for a job that is not a Cadet, she gives up and decides to focus on College first, attending College, majoring and minoring in many different subjects, all related to law. She graduated with a Bachelors, just to get the best of the best and continue excelling academically. Eventually, she browsed for jobs and decided she would have to settle as something low-ranking, despite her vigorous training that she kept up with even after graduating the Police Academy, wanting to be in perfect shape, when she was 24. Eventually, she does find an opening in Japan, Karakura to be exact, even though it is low ranking she still jumps for the opportunity and applies straight away before other people take the position from her, already learned a lot of languages from her High School days, luckily, Japanese being one of them. She gets accepted and almost immediately gets a ticket to Karakura, Japan, boarding the plane with her luggage and flying over there after a few days of packing and waiting for the day to arrive with much-needed excitement and enthusiasm, and that is how she ended up in the position she is in today, happily working as a Police Officer for the Karakura Police Department, knowing the risks but refusing to acknowledge them as she has been working on this for her whole life.
