  • I am 19 years old.

    What is your time zone?:

  • My timezone is GMT/BST

Describe your activity on the server:
I am mostly active throughout the day, I do play during the mid-day hours as well. As I have a great social life, particularly during school hours, I usually play for a few hours at a time. I am more available in the evenings. Unless there's an emergency, I am free from 6 pm to 2 am on most weekdays. Whenever I have free time, I enjoy playing on SRP, and I'm usually online. My level of activity has significantly changed since I first started as a greenie. I have been increasingly active since joining,

  • Monday Tuesday Wednesday Thursday Friday Saturday Sunday
  • 1pm-8pm-6am-11am-6am-11am-6am-11am-3pm-12am-3pm-12am-3pm-12am
  • Due to my time working in college

Have you ever been banned (If yes, when and why?):
I was banned around a year ago for Disagreement with the staff I owned up to and as of now I am on good terms with the staff after that event

  • Do you acknowledge that if you are inactive you will be demoted?:
Yes of course. I'd want this to happen to other members and so it's fair it should to me too

  • School Employee Role you are applying for?:
I am applying for the Receptionist Role.

In as much detail as possible, describe the employee role you are applying for:
Receptionists are, in my opinion, the face and lifeline of the school. As a receptionist, you would be responsible for greeting visitors, answering phone calls, and assisting with administrative tasks. You would also help with student registrations, maintain records, and provide general support to staff, students, and parents. It plays an important role in ensuring smooth operations at the school. They are also needed to maintain order at the front desk in case there are no teachers/prof around to support them. A fun fact about receptionists is that At the front desk, they have many things they can do. Receptionists can trade in student reward tokens for prizes, ranging from plushies to a single-use allowance of 100k or even a musical instrument. With the use of the intercom, They also work alongside the School Leadership Team (SLT), who help to enforce school protocols and ensure a safe and respectful environment for everyone.

What experience, in general, do you have in roleplay?:
I have been on this server for quite some time now, and all of that time has been spent roleplaying in many different places on the server. Whether it’s been on teams, Or working in the Sayonara gift shop, throughout my 2 years on this server I have been temp captain a couple of times, I believe these special roles have given me unique experience to apply for this position.

Why do you want to join the School Employee faction?:
The employee faction is something that I have certainly enjoyed from the times I have been role-playing with them, I also enjoy interacting with SchoolRP’s player population, whether it be in-character or out-of-character, where the role of receptionist certainly enables me to do that and to be able to learn more as one and also the school faculty itself. I think it's a great thing to do in my free time as it gives some the chance to enjoy SRP whilst being a receptionist. I find this role extremely chilled and relaxing, It is great to have where I can easily enjoy roleplay at the same time, as well as do the job I am required to do in my role.

What are your current role(s) on the server?:
College B - Col-councillor

Situations

  • During a work shift a student starts cursing at you for being pathetic, how does your character react?:
If a student were to curse out Koji, he would remain calm and professional, meanwhile attempting to de-escalate the difficult situation at hand. Koji would prefer to take them to a quiet office and have a 1 to 1 conversation preventing any unnecessary attention and potentially another argument from bursting out again. He would then talk to the student about their actions and his behaviour making them aware that it is not acceptable in the school. Koji would then listen to the student's complaint and try his best to resolve the issue professionally, and reasonably. Shortly after the situation is resolved koji would escort the student out of the office and send them on their way.
You notice two students are physically fighting in the hallway, – multiple punches have been thrown – how does your character react?:
Koji quickly rushed over to the site of the altercation and tried his best to split the two students up meanwhile alerting any nearby staff for assistance. As soon as he has control over the two students and takes both names he can then file an altercation with the principal or any higher-up within the school. Shortly after documenting the altercation and collecting the names of the two students involved, Koji would ask a staff member to take care of one of the students whilst koji took them one by one to see a nurse to check for any injuries that may have occurred during the incident and to make sure they both get treated as soon as possible

Another school employee is clearly acting inappropriately, doing something very dangerous on the job, how does your character react?
After witnessing a colleague behaving inappropriately on school premises, Koji approached the individual calmly and professionally. He suggested that they move to a more private setting to discuss the issue further. Once the move was complete, Koji addressed the matter and explained to the individual that their actions were not only highly inappropriate but also potentially dangerous for the school and their job. He emphasized that the behaviour was unprofessional and could lead to serious consequences, including termination of their employment. After the conversation, Koji dismissed the individual and documented the incident to prevent any similar instances from occurring in the future.

  • When in the employee break room, how does your character act?:
  • When Koji steps into the employee break room, he greets his colleagues with a warm smile and a friendly "Good morning!". He likes to start his break by making himself a cup of his favourite Chinese tea, which he enjoys every morning. Koji understands that the break room is an excellent opportunity to connect with his colleagues and get to know them better. He likes to share his lunch, engage in conversations, and build positive relationships with his coworkers. Koji believes that this helps to create a positive work environment, and promotes teamwork and communication. After his break, Koji bids farewell to his peers and returns to his desk at the front of the school. Feeling refreshed and energized, he is ready to tackle the rest of the day's tasks with renewed enthusiasm.

Provide us with at least three detailed /me's of your character whilst on your chosen role:

/me would gently close his laptop in reaction to a student approaching him at his desk as he would let out a big smile "How may I be of assistance to you today'' He would then keep his smile as his full attention would be on the student in front of him shortly before responding with a detailed, and descriptive response, And to tell them any other problems ''do come to see me right away'' After telling them to have a good day after waving them off to lesson.

/me leans back in his chair, stretching his arms above his head and letting out a little groan. He glances around the break room, noting the various employees and their conversations. He picked up his coffee cup, took a sip and savouring the warmth and bitter taste of his Chinese tea, He would then smile and join in the convo whenever his name was brought up, He would make conversation with all his co-workers about anything that had interested him in that particular day

  • /me The male opened the door to reception, He would then sit down at the front desk, after hanging his coat up at the rack and placing his bag next to it. The man makes sure that his posture is straight, and that he looks approachable, utmost Whenever a passing student looks at him, he makes sure to give them his daily smile, Knowing he going to be doing that all day,

    Backstory

    Life in Beijing.

Koji Yao was born on March 9th at approximately 11:53 PM in Beijing, China. He was the first child of his mother Biyu, who raised him in a strict Chinese household. From an early age, Koji was recognized by his parents and teachers for being a dedicated learner. He showed remarkable academic progress beyond his age group, and his teachers could see he had a bright future ahead of him.
  • As Koji grew older, he realized that he had bigger dreams than just staying in his home country of Beijing. He wanted to explore the world and achieve his goals beyond the confines of his family and community. However, when his mother got a teaching job in Japan in 2004, Koji was hesitant to move as he knew nothing about the Japanese language. He was scared that his dreams and hopes would disappear in an unfamiliar land.
  • Despite his initial fears, Koji's mother's success in getting accepted into her job made the family decide to move to Japan. After hearing the news, Koji had mixed feelings about the move but tried to remain positive. Finally, on October 18th, 2004, Koji and his family left Beijing for their new home in Japan. Although Koji was still apprehensive, he started to feel excited about the new opportunities and experiences that awaited him in his new home.

    Life in Japan.
The year was 2016 when Koji and his family finally settled into their Japanese-style home in Karakura, a bustling city in Japan. After a year of settling in, Koji felt a sudden interest in learning the history and language of Japan. He started to make friends in college and began to study Public Relations & Organizational Communication, along with business on the side. Koji spent three hours every day for the next three years studying Korean and Japanese. His hard work paid off, and he became a quick learner, mastering both languages in just a year.
  • The year 2021 marked the graduation day for Koji, and he was thrilled that his hard work had finally paid off. He was now a qualified professional in Public Relations & Organizational Communication and Business. The graduation ceremony was over, and Koji made his way home with his mother and siblings. They stopped to pay tribute to Koji's late father's photo on the wall, with candles lit on the side, commemorating the years of hard work and dedication.
  • Two years later, Koji began looking for a job in Karakura. He found a job opening for a receptionist at Karakura High School and applied with great enthusiasm. He spent days perfecting his application, ensuring that every detail was in place. Koji waited patiently for the results of his application.
  • A week later, Koji received an acceptance notice from the high school. He was overjoyed and grateful for the opportunity to become a receptionist at the school. In 2023, the day had come for Koji's first day of work. He waved goodbye to his mother and set off for work at Karakura High School, carrying his black briefcase. Koji felt excited and eager to begin his new job, ready to embrace the challenges and opportunities that lay ahead.
