I do have a job, however, I am lucky enough to have nearly full control of my schedule. I am on nearly every single night and on days I do not work (I work at least 2 days a week sometimes more but rarely) I am on in the morning and throughout the day and evenings. Thus making it easy for me to get on when needed and to complete my quota (if accepted.)

What experiences do you have with roleplay?:
When I was younger I often played by myself and would play two characters in my head while playing with barbies or some type of doll. I have always had a wide imagination and could think of a variety of scenarios to keep myself entertained, even though I have siblings who are much older than me; So it was up to me to have fun. And I did just that! And in a way, I've always been able to have fun like that. So when I found this server, I was pretty overjoyed. Roleplaying came like a sixth sense to me. Yeah, at first the commands confused me for a bit but when I got the hang of it,
I skyrocketed into a friend group and Have been roleplaying on the server ever since then. I learned to explore and take advantage of the opportunities the server provided. I’ve indulged myself in Jockrp, Gangrp, Crimerp, romancerp, detailrp, and loads of P2L and just normal fun. In sorts, I think having a passion for writing & reading also works in my favor when roleplaying.
What is your motivation for applying?
have been playing SRP for quite some time now, (coming on 4 years.) I have enlisted myself in multiple types of roleplay that this server provides. Such as Jockrp, gangrp, Crime rp, And being just an average student on here. Throughout my experiences, I have been In Hs Bball, College football (current), and a councilor. All of which I adored and loved. I have always wanted to be a part of the EMS / KPD Faction. But honestly couldn’t work up the courage to apply the recent waves.
I’ve decided I would furthermore Enjoy EMS; This is a real-life career choice for me as I am currently seeking out my options for Med school when I graduate early this summer. I often find myself indulging in being the “medic” in my friend group, rather that being IRL or in roleplay. Especially in Jockrp. So why not apply and have the chance and gain the real experience and more knowledge on being an actual EMS provider?! (srp addition)
I know if I am accepted I will put my all into this, and have a complete blast on not only learning new skills and things But also being a part of a community that has the same interests as me. Adding onto that, I also am a good detailrper. I have always been interested in roleplaying for most of my life. I've always taken higher coursed English classes because I love writing. I find myself always detailrping any chance I get. This Faction (amongst others.) brings completely new opportunities to me within my writing and being able to challenge myself In my roleplay skills and writing skills.

What knowledge do you have of Hospital Work?
I have mostly first-hand and second-hand experience IRL, but via SRP hospital-wise, not much! But that's why I’m applying! Here is what I know of SRP Hospital work.
Doctor Resident
When one first gets accepted into EMS and applies to be a doctor, they become a Doctor resident. They get trained to handle ‘in-house’ jobs. For example, When someone is either escorted or walked into the hospital with an Injury, After the residents' training, they would be able to help those who are coming into the hospital with injuries, This ranges from average jock fights with bloody noses and concussions to sliced off limbs and stab wounds.
Senior Doctor
Senior Doctors are residents who have worked up the chain and have been in the field for quite some time, They have seen it all. Senior Doctors are what residents look up to.
They provide training and help around the hospital with any injuries. Emergency or not, they are here to help.
Psychiatrist Resident
Psychiatrist Residents are merely the same as Doctor Residents, They are being trained and are fresh meat at first but will soon be formed into people who help with Mental health. Have a bad day? See your Psych. Need to be diagnosed or have questions? You can go to your Psych.
Senior Psychiatrist
Again, Like Senior Doctors, These are the top dogs. They have seen or heard it all. And have been trained and experienced for most likely years (IC years).
Paramedics
Paramedics are specifically trained
In taking Emergency calls, or more of SOS calls. Such as if there was a stabbing, or if someone called 911 (110) If you or someone else couldn't safely or was too badly injured to access the hospital yourself. Paramedics are mainly used when all hell has broken loose. People who could get into action quickly and help save the lives who are at risk and maintain an emotionally stable composure throughout the chaos.

College Masters: and finally, her master's degree. Shylah earned her Master of public health after two years of hard studying. Thus; completing her education. Setting her up for success in being a Doctor for her endgame Career.
Of course, Shylah had to strive for her M.D. at the end. Completing her school education and ready for residency!

"Honestly, I have been in the medical world most of my life. My father was a combat Medic; My mother? A freaking Concierge Doctor. There was no "Oh, let's go to the hospital, she's sick" In my household. Either I figured it out, Or my parents helped me get better. But when I was diagnosed with Sensorineural hearing loss, I really became Interested in the medical field. When I hit around... I think four years old is when I got my first hearing aid." *She would bring a picture of it up to the Camera; You would see a small white and pink BTE hearing aid.* "Aside from my heterochromia.. This made me stick out like a sore thumb. But, honestly, I think it completes my complexion! Anywaaayyysss.. I was also one of those kids who loved sports, I loved the adrenaline, The rush, and The fresh air. So it wasn't much of a surprise when the education of sports medicine fell into my lap." *She giggled to herself, Brushing a strand of hair out of her face.* "I left my hometown to continue my studies And pursued my collage adventure. I Graduated College with my Biology Bachelors and Master of public health masters and got my M.D; But before I did, I also was a D1 Defense football player!, So of course I still adore studying sports medicine but. . . I wish to strive for bigger goals."

From an early age she always wanted to help people. Even while being in sports, as soon as someone was injured she was right by their side giving aid. She may be a quiet soul, but she cares so deeply in her heart for others. Shylah has a god given drive to be a doctor, Going far reaches to higher her education and prepare herself for a potential residency in Karakura.
What medical residencies did your character take after medical school?
As soon as Shylah graduated, She enrolled herself into Junior residency in Japan, Though, after two years of studying with their program, She applied for residency at a small town clinic near her home, However.. This wasn’t enough for her. She craved and itched for bigger opportunities.. Thus leading her here.
Does your character have any work experience in medical positions?
After finishin her juniors in Japan, She went straight looking for jobs. So if you consider first hand experience, than yes. But nose too the books, Often but not as hard core as her collage days. To refresh her knowledge she often opened up her text books but other than that, No.

As you looked at the digital picture of her, She was presumably a normal height, landing at 5’ft on the dot, She was a bit underweight, But if you saw her in person, you would learn that she prefers to be on the leaner side. Shylah had natural blonde locks that fell to the dip in her spine, and well past her rib cage from the front view. Looking further into the photo, You would see she was gifted with one ocean blue eye and one golden brown eye, how unique was that! If that wasn’t enough, she was still rocking her now adult-sized pink and white hearing aid with the biggest, kindest smile that graced her dimples; Pulling her entire look together.
How does your character act on and off duty?
OFF DUTY
Shylah often indulged in reading or studying. She loved getting cozy in her nook at home; reading off from her collection of Romance, Historical fiction, Science fiction, and many, many novels But she also was still one who loved nature. You will find her at the beach with her friends, hanging out and strolling along the ocean side. Or visiting the shrine, getting a moment of peace and quiet. Although, To this shy girl sometimes she had a wild streak. You may find Shylah dancing on her countertops to taylor swift or some 80s rock. Or you will be gifted by her amazing cooking stills her Nana taught her.
ON DUTY
Shylah was very keen on her listening skills, and trusting her gut. She knows when to step off her high horse and listen to her Residence mates, or upper hand. But also knows when to step in and take control. However, She was often a quiet talker when communicating with her peers if there wasn’t an emergency. Adding onto the fact this girl loves a challenge. If she has her mind set on something (such as saving a bleeding out patient, or limb, etc) She does not give up until she has worn out all options and then some.
Does your character function better on their own or with others?
Honestly, She can rock both! She was humbled enough to know to be a great leader, you must first follow. She is here to learn, make friends, and save some damn lives! That doesn’t matter if it's with an entire resident team or all by herself. She will make do with what is given to her, And if she needs help, she will never hesitate to ask.
What plans does your character have for the future?
Shylahs end goal is to climb the ladder, from trainee resident to resident, and her goal for Senior doctor, and then retirement. In the end, Out of her medic scrubs, She wanted a Family and to carry on her legacy to her kids and grandkids. To even possibly explore the globe, Perhaps teach other high school and college students some of her Doctor skills too.
How is your character perceived by others? How does it contrast with their perception of themself?
Shylah was liked by most. She was often quiet outside of her closest friend groups Shylah rarely had a sailor's mouth as well. Only the gentle and kind words slipped from her lips. Although, when it comes to defending her family and friends, Shy’ may surprise one by putting someone in their place in a calm collective tone, paired with a gentle smile.
Knowing this, still, she never thinks she's too good for anything. She is always on the humbled scale even if often praised for her work. In her eyes, there is always more learning to do. No matter how high you climbed the chain. She is always striving to be better; in her work, relationships, hobbies, and friendships.
