Describe your activity on the server:
1788626178870.png

I am fairly active in the SRP community! I have been roleplaying and partaking roles every since I joined, except the times that I am on a vacation. I also tailor almost all the time. I try to put my time into having fun while enjoying serious roleplay with other people. The amount of work I can do depends on what my days are looking like at the time, but I will be able to get done most things expected from me!

I love to roleplay on the server and roleplay almost everyday. I have taken roles in factions like Sports, Faculty and Crime. I was fairly active on almost every role that was given to me. I also partake in community made roles like events. School would not get in my way, since I am studying Software Engineering and I am on my PC a lot.

APPLICATION INFORMATION

What position are you applying for?:

Judge

What is your motivation for applying?:
I have been trying to find a faction where I can enjoy as an adult. I want to explore and hopefully discover a way where it would immerse me into the roleplay I will be doing. I am excited to roleplay outside of the job of my character as well. I have been in some heavy-detail roleplay with one of my characters and the idea of doing similar as a Judge just perks my interest. The character I am looking to play is rather enjoyable as-well. It will be a new experience for me to play such character, which I have not seen a lot on this server of.

Do you have an understanding of Karakura’s laws & Constitutional rights?:
I have been always interested in law. Despite living in a country where it is very small and law is less appreciated, I do enjoy the idea of it overall. I do believe I have a good understanding of Karakura's laws and Constitutional rights and I trust my logic to indulge me in learning the things that I do not know! I am always open to learn more and discover those I do not know.

What are your goals for being in Government Faction?:
I want to experience a roleplay inside of Karakura's Law with a character I have never played anything like before. I want to enjoy and take my time in the faction to discover all kinds of opportunities to learn both about Karakura and how to roleplay with that character. I want the opportunity to really immerse in my character and actually put my time and effort willingly to enjoy the faction along with other players. I want to meet new people and roleplay with them, perhaps different characters of people I already know! I really want to extend my vision in the faction to be active outside of job too, since I do believe for adults to be active outside of faction-job is very important. I want to indulge in possibly family-RP along with so many others I feel both me and players around me would enjoy!

As I said, I want to discover the new type of character I will be playing. For the first time ever I am looking to play a very serious adult character. That does not mean it will be edgy, just serious enough for a judge. I believe a judge should have some weight to them and I will try to fill that in with the best of my ability!

In your own words, describe the different roles of the Government Faction:
Judge

Judge is the position of institutional authority They are the ones to carry the seriousness of decisions that can permanently change peoples lives. Unlike lawyers, Judges do not need popularity or public approval, they are appointed through the national judicial system. They are expected to rule the courtroom for both parties involved. They are the final decision makers of any trial. Their jobs in the server extend from mainly attending trials, Issuing warrants and reviewing cases and evidence to officiating marriages or approve adoption paperwork. They are the expected to remain independent from other parties involved.

Governor
Governors are the elected heads of Japanese prefecture. They have authority and are expected to take care of budgets, infrastructure or public administration. The governors rely on voters and the public to be of position. They do not have authority over judges since judiciary is separate from the prefectural government. Governors are the head of Japanese prefecture.

Lawyer
Lawyers are licensed professionals who represent clients. They are expected to represent their clients from people to organizations and are expected to prepare legal documents and negotiate settlements along with so many other things. They attend trials and meet with clients or other government workers to do their job efficiently.

Do you acknowledge that upon being accepted you can be subject to removal at any given time?:
Of course. I do agree and accept to be removed upon not filling my fair share of responsibilities.

Have you read & agreed to follow the Government Faction rules?:
Yes. I agree to follow the Government Faction rules.

IN CHARACTER SECTION

Masayuki stepped forward into the interview room. His hair and face was freshly *******; his suit looking pressed and clean. A heavy perfume was lingering around him, yet it was not smelt unless you were close to him. It was perfection, enough to command attention without unnecessary notice. He reached his left hand out, shaking the hand of the interviewer as he placed the files in his right hand forward on the desk. Masayuki gently grabbed the chair right after, pulling it back to take a seat.

Full name:
Masayuki pressed both his palms on his lap. His posture was straight, rather too forced for some people. His lips drafted as he spoke. 'My name is Masayuki Kuroda.' His tone was gentle, refined by countless years spent in libraries studying. Though, the commanding aura in his voice could not be ignored either. (Masayuki Kuroda)

Preferred title (Mr., Mrs., etc.):
Masayuki blew a gentle nod as a slight smile appeared on his face. It was barely a smile yet it was better than nothing. 'Just Mr. Kuroda will suffice.' He spoke out in the same gentle tone. Masayuki did look rather calm for such an important interview. (Mr. Kuroda)

Current age:
Masayuki let out a soft sigh, drifting his gaze slightly downwards as he tilted his head backwards. He rolled his shoulders back, attempting to fix his already perfect posture. 'I am forty five.' He said in a not so gentle tone this time, perhaps a bit annoyed by the question. Only thing he could never acquire despite his hard-work; time. (45)

Date of birth:
He proceeded to continue with his talk right after. Masayuki tilted both his hands inward towards each other, sitting in a more comfortable and natural position this time. ' I was born in February eight, nineteen eighty-one.' (February 8, 1981)

Academic Background:

He fixed his posture yet again, drifting his gaze towards the files the interviewer had just grabbed. Masayuki fixed his posture yet again as he started speaking. 'I was sixteen when I decided to pursue law. I attended to a Hōgakubu right after my graduation from high-school, when I was eighteen. I managed to graduate in four years, when I was twenty two.' He cleared his throat, his eyes never left the interviewers. He did enjoy eye contact from the looks of it- Perhaps it told him about the person he was talking to more than words did. 'I pursued my law education, attending a Hōka Daigakuin right after I graduated. I managed to finish my education in two years, when I was twenty-four at the time. I took the National Bar Examination and managed to pass it to start my Legal Training.' Masayuki's tone became ever so gentler as he spoke. It was enough to show what kind of a lawyer he was, he clearly did not come to conclusions easy. 'It was around a year for me to finish my training and be admitted as an attorney.'

Work experience:
Masayuki could not help but smile at the question. When was the last time someone interviewed him like this? His age and experience usually was enough in most cases, yet he enjoyed being questioned. Despite how calm he was- He liked to brag about his hard work. 'My educational numbers were high enough for me to be recruited by a law firm off the start. I worked approximately three years as a Junior Associate Attorney in that firm.'

He cleared his throat, moving on to speak about the rest of his very long career. 'I was around twenty-nine when I became and Senior Associate Attorney. Unlike my earlier years, it was much more productive in terms of experience. I represented many individuals along with local businesses around Tokyo.' He scoffed, going into more detail about some of the cases. 'It usually contained things like civil lawsuits or divorces.' Masayuki's hand went up to his face to take his glasses off, placing it on the desk front of him. 'It was not long before I started taking on more complicated cases. Commercial Disputes or Corporate related cases, along with serious inheritance conflicts sometimes. Of course, I had trained a fair share of young attorneys during my time.'

'Myself, like some others got the opportunity to become a Partner at my firm. Of course, I paid the fee since it was not an offer I could refuse.' Masayuki let both his arms fall back to his laps, glancing at the interviewer going through his files as he kept on speaking. 'I represented a lot of major clients for my firm during my years as a Junior Partner. It was the most productive years of my career.' He let out yet another soft sigh as he watched the interviewer drop the files on the desk, he moved on with that slight smile emerging on his face yet again. 'I think it was only five years ago when I took on the offer to become a Senior Partner. It was rather unpleasant for me since I started doing more company related work rather than taking care of cases. I still represented a lot of major clients during my time, before I finally decided to pursue my law career further to become a Judge.'

Nationality & born location:
'I was born in Setagaya, Tokyo.' Masayuki confessed before moving on to speak about the rest of his origins. 'My family was middle to upper class, it was enough to help me pursue my career financially.' He dropped the smile. His attention was back at the interviewer as he established eye contact yet again. 'I can not say I left Tokyo too much, except holidays or invites from client companies or events throughout the years.'

Criminal record:
Masayuki's eyes couldn't help but widen at the question. His expression got buried in seriousness that he himself did not see coming. 'I have never partook in any criminal activity in my life. Not even a ticket.' He whispered out right after breaking eye contact.

What makes you a good candidate for this job?:
Masayuki's eyes glared back up at the interviewer as he watched them organize the files they just went through. 'I believe I have enough experience in law to become a Judge.' He frowned, speaking in a more disappointed tone. 'I have saw my fair share of injustice. I spent my whole life trying to fight against it. This is my chance to do my part for our society to bring freedom and justice to those who deserve it.'

Masayuki watched the interviewer stand up, so he did the same as he grabbed his files from the desk. He used his other hand to adjust the hem of his suit before shaking the interviewers hand. 'It was my pleasure, have a great evening.' With that, he turned around and walked out, his steps carrying the countless years of law embodied within.
