Depression, also known as major depressive disorder, is a mood disorder that makes you feel constant sadness or lack of interest in life.
Most people feel sad or depressed at times. It’s a normal reaction to loss or life's challenges. But when intense sadness - including feeling helpless, hopeless, and worthless -- lasts for many days to weeks and keeps you from living your life, it may be something more than sadness. You could have clinical depression a treatable medical condition.
It came to my attention that a lot of players, people in the SchoolRP Community are suffering from depression, so I decided to make this thread and publish it for the people who are suffering from this serious disease in hopes of letting them know that they certainly are not alone.
Major depression can lead to suicidal thoughts, self-harm, or even suicide.
I want to remind those special, and awesome people who are suffering from depression that you are all amazing, and that you were put here in this world for an extraordinary reason.
The strength each and every one of you hold is something I can not illustrate thoroughly, some have discovered their strengths and some are yet to discover it, but I can guarantee you that every person has a strong spot that they have yet to find out. You’re strong, make usage of the strength you behold.
