There isn't a difference, they're both acting it out.


1). People who action too far do it because they're feeling sexually active, not because of anything else, ever. They're minor erping (which albeitly is allowed) but there is a point in which they cross.

2) You don't need to do

What your proposing is that we strengthen current ERP rules to therefore censor stuff that isn't acting out explicit sexual meaning in the slightest.

There is a real big difference between sexual context and acting out sexual actions.

Having reread this all, what your proposing is silly, SRP isn't a little kid server. But it also isn't a place for e-fucking either. I am not a fan of censorship, and especially not for 'kiddfying rp' SRP isn't a place for children and your suggestion acts more like a roblox censorship chat plugin then anything constructive or worthwhile.​

I am getting a bit annoying I keep having to repeat myself. I never said one thing about making it censored. @jeemay mentioned it. I said not a bad idea.

Also what I am proposing is to rethink how ERP works. I get in the terms of not “E-Fucking” so ok I am in agreement. But then why is Writing in a book bannable? It’s not even a action at all, it’s the same as saying it. In this case a player who suffered loses do to gangrp and is mute is physically not allowed to use these insulting lines like “Your mom is Alstroms sex toy” they could legit report that and him get banned for ERP for the Erotic Literature.

Your statement in the why people ERP was just reaching to talk about something. Obviously something was happening in the mans mind that he took it too far. Like stated in the thread, cool I agree with it.

The peeing thing, isn’t Erotic at all and instead is just nasty. If you want to ban someone for something nasty and some might find uncomfortable then start banning people for GangRP, SuicideRP, and anything else one might get get uncomfortable and find disgusting. I don’t really personally see a huge issue with it as long as no one is uncomfortable about it and you ain’t actioning it like

put simply doing /me takes a piss. Like that’s nothing Erotic, just simply nasty.

In my thread I didn’t say what my proposal was, I just said the issue, I had a few solutions and ideas in mind but it’s narrowed down a bit after reading some comments. You are probably right it’s not made for kids but not a place for “E-Fucking” still doesn’t explain why Erotic Literature is bannable. My proposal now is to make Erotic Literature legal. Also if I did want them to remove talking nasty icly, it would also have it’s ok’s so you can still properly RP out your char. Which the reason I bring this up because with making Erotic Literature legal, there still would need to be limitations perhaps.

Also the last part you said makes you sound more of a salty person rather then a mature response. If you want to be rude do it else where please. ​

That’s contradicting though. Because people can troll just as well through talking it out as well. After talking with banter, I know this has been against the rules since the start when Duckings added it as a rule. He said he doesn’t know why, he personally thinks it’s worth a ban, and that I should make this thread.

I read your suggestion and replied to it believing you just had a situation where you felt uncomfortable which could in fact be brought up to a staff member if you already told the person in looc to not go that far because it’s weird to say that or something.

Now reading through your replies to everyone’s comments/opinions to this matter, I’m starting to get confused as to what you really want done. I think the rules are as simple and straightforward as can be. Nobody wants to be Vibing in roleplay only to be given erotic literature out of nowhere because it’s weird and disturbing. Same with a sign and same with having to see people detailrp their love life. So again, what do you want done and what are you trying to reach?

I am still not 100% sure what my goal is. The best word that describes what I want is revise. I want ERP to be revised a little bit, because it’s got some kinks in that makes not sense. The examples I used, Using the toilet is considered Erotic? It’s nothing erotic just nasty. You can say “my big dick” icly it’s fine, but someone (perhaps mute person) gives you a book that says “my big dick” now you run the risk of being banned for ERP. The rules are indeed straight forwarded and I can live without the change but I do believe staff need to revise what they consider ERP. ​

I feel like minor things should be allowed like peeing and stuff but calling someone a sex toy just seems bad, there are kids on this server and like the replies said e for everyone and calling someone a sex toy shouldn't be aloud.

This isn't a kids server, nothing in here is meant for anyone below the age of 13. With that being said, talking about sexual things is something that comes up in an average 7th grade lunch table. However, it isn't like they go ahead and actually do it. In fact, there's a limit to what you can say in the chat. Detailrp peeing? Like what's even the point, even if it wasn't ERP behavior, it's troll behavior. I don't know if my current tone sounds rude or not, but considering the replies- you still don't seem to get it through your head.

-Writing something inappropriate in a book is just nasty. No point whatsoever. Anyone could really pick that up, and just because you're given the freedom to write anything you want in it. Doesn't mean you should.

-If someone said something inappropriate, it has to be watered down anyways. If it isn't watered down, you'll recieve a warn or even a ban. It's what happened in kosuge, as it gave a clear example of watered down dirty comments and disturbing ones.

-Your entire post currently has been you fighting about how it doesn't make sense that some things were deemed innapropiate while others weren't. So far, I've seen around 3 replies show you how it's different, and your opinion changes each time. You're on the thin line of either wanting dirty talks to be disapproved or things like detailrp peeing to be approved? This isn't a feedback or a suggestion, it's a rant. You have sadly, not suggested any sort of rules that you really want to take place. Nor have you added how it would positively/negatively affect the community, you're just comparing different scenarios. Please be more clear on what you want, cause your varies of replies just gives 101 mixed messages and none of them are easy to understand.

I have made myself clear on one of the comments. Although in a way I agree with your thread, but some of the things you mentioned it’s flawed, and simply not true.

- You said in paragraph 1 that sexual talks is something that’s talked about at 7th grade lunch tables but that doesn’t mean they do it. That is correct, but the flaw is they would if they could and some do it. Although the server doesn’t want “E-Sex” and you know what I agree. Then paragraph 2 you mentioned how writing inappropriate things is just nasty , and that just because you have the freedom to write anything doesn’t mean you should, but the same could be said with talking. It’s essentially the same thing so each ban both or ban neither. ( I am leaning on the banning neither tbh)

- My opinion has changed since seeing sams original post. I will agree that changed my perspective, and overall only changed what I want more of the thread. You are rig though perhaps I should be more clear but only in the actual thread itself cause I did make it clear what I wanted.

The detailing of Pee I legit said I get why though that would be erotic, but just straight /me Pees like I said that isn’t erotic. It’s UnseriousRP but there might be times it makes sense. If peeing is removed as ERP you would more than likely get warned for Not SeriousRPing rather then banned for 7d for something not even Erotic. I can say I know a admin who agrees.

Although this part came off toxic, this part has been the most useful cause now I know I need to adjust the original post with a definite answer, and how it would benefit the community rather then hurt it.​
