I would like to suggest that snitching perms be relooked, possibly changed as I think that tweaking them to be less severe would contribute to more realistic roleplay.
HOW WILL THIS BENEFIT THE SERVER/COMMUNITY?:
Currently contacting the police, or snitching as it's most commonly known for, can grant the opposing party KPS if they find evidence of it, something which most people just go ahead and immediately kill for, which I feel is completely unrealistic. I personally think it would be more likely for someone to be intimidated into canceling the call or simply beat up for something like snitching on a crime being committed, especially if the crime doesn't even entail killing (minor at best, major at worst honestly).
By making snitching perms less severe, it will encourage onlookers to actually call the police on situations instead of just watching gang roleplay happen in the middle of the street. It will also encourage criminals to attempt to hide their actions more whether that be attempting to more silently nab victims or performing their actions somewhere secret.
And to those saying "Well, if you don't want your character to be killed then don't snitch lol xd", Is that really realistic? If someone saw someone else commit a crime, isn't it common sense to report the darn thing? People committing crimes simply shouldn't be doing them out in the open, find an alleyway, or someplace quiet to do it in. This would also offer more roleplay opportunities for both parties, if you got kps on them, you just kill them, with minor or major perms, you would probably get more fights and interactions with that character if you chose to beat them up. It's certainly more interesting than /me stabs carotid, isn't it?
