Tippie informed me that it currently isn't possible plugin-wise to go above the age one hundred with adult characters (assuming just adult roles since [?] tags have reached soaring heights in their ages), so I'd like to suggest adding in the ability to apply for a character's age to exceed 100 (within biological reason, maybe cap the apply-able max somewhere in the middle or high records for supercentenarians - if high, definitely capped at the record, unless we're up for Karakura breaching some Guinness world records).

It could have its own, special format or just use the general character authorization form (for service dogs and that stuff).

Implementation could be applying for a specific age or instead applying to get access to a range of ages above 100 (if this is possible to implement).

I imagine that there should be some standard for these applications and should be awarded to well written characters and ones who fit well with Karakuran history, since even today, people exceeding the age of 100 is extremely rare, not to mention exceeding 110 (which, if accepted, I think should be a possibility (if the applicant proves their character worthy for it)).
(Only for people who already have adult roles)

How will this benefit the server and community?:
Giving players the opportunity to apply for older characters would definitely provide for interesting RP especiallyin relation to characters' experiencing older historical periods of Karakura. In the end more RP opportunities are fun in general and I'm sure people could have fun with something like that.

Could also be useful for lore characters in general! Lots of opportunities with this. I personally like my elderly characters so having a method to make them older than the trees would be pretty interesting.

It should be pretty easy to make a staff command that modifies a character profile's age, though it might be a little tricky if it requires the player to be online on that character to so this.

Another way to do this would be to give the player a specific permission node that lets them bypass the 100 age restriction

Regardless, its a neat little idea with roleplay potential!

+1, Its not uncommon for people in Japan to live past age 100, Be a nice addition along as its being used for realistic ages.

If accepted this could also (Possibly) add onto the hospital faction allowing them to have a care unit or something, Or allowing someone to start a elderly care verified business. This has roleplay opportunity outside of just the player who is above the age of 100.

If accepted this would need to be something that can only be applied to players who have earned the adult tag. Otherwise it’s just loopholing getting the tag. I’m a little against this because of the amount of players that will abuse this and roleplay unrealistically as well which will be another thing we’ll have to moderate as the staff team.

Oh, yeah- I should've mentioned the adult role thing. (I'll add it)

One question though, how do you feel like this would be abused? I can't see how but I might not be considering everything.

I do agree with infi on this, if this does get accepted. STaff will have to moderate on who has it and for what character, I personally think it should be Tag Locked(Adult) AND it should be CHARACTER LOCKED. Meaning that the character that it is on will be the only one having that age as to try and assist staff with this.

I agree with those restrictions being in place. Ideally, locking this age behind a forums application and making them acknowledge the risk of being blacklisted from this type of roleplay should steer away any bad apples from supercentenarian JokeRP (what a name).

As a matter of fact, staff already put restrictions in place for other similar roleplay groups such as Animals or Faction positions. Comparing the balance between the risks and the RP benefits, I think the latter outweigh the potential staff interventions over FailRP

I like this idea since it makes sense (it would be weird if there were a trillion 100+ characters), but do you have any suggestions as to how the character lock would work? Would the character profile be locked to this character or would it just be smth like if staff saw a player RPing other characters with this age it would be punishable?

100+ already /roll 5 if it's not P2L (which strength-wise combat it's over) so atp ... no rolls at all. just turning to dust

Though I do agree there likely needs to be restrictions on it because the chances of people abusing the tag is very high on this server unfortunately.
