my suggestion is simple: have adult tags and faction members [who are adults] get an allowance of 1500 every 30 minutes.

How will this benefit the server and community?:
it allows for another form of allowance, as when grading up from grade 8 to grade 12, your allowance goes up. it allows for a difference between a grade 12 allowance and someone who is an adult.

Faction workers are paid money, just adding to this is unnecessary.

Plus, allowance - whilst it is beneficial - unless you're on for hours and hours it pretty much makes no difference.

-1, as someeone who is in a faction right now + has adult role on another account, i say no. it's not necessary.

The pay between factions is far far far from equal. I, in shrine, get 100,000 a month. That is less than HALF of what most, if not all, factions make in the same amount of time for an equal amount of work and effort.

It won't be a noticeable difference for most factions, but again bringing up Shrine, for those of us that are only in shrine it absolutely is noticeable and necessary if we want to get more than just rent and one item per month from a shop.

Having a sliiightlyy better allowance would genuinely make a difference so I'd really like to get it if possible...

Theres also the realistic aspect of it. Allowance or "pocket money" as we call it here in GREAH BRI'AN is literally given to children by parents, not given to adults and is made to be there to teach the importance of financial decisions. The same privelidge is only given to adults. I get how faction pay isn't always equal, yet if you're roleplaying as an adult, and you want more money you can get it through other means that are also set up.

Giving adults pocket money is basically the government paying adults just to be there, thats not realistic.
 
The issue with this is that the Adult role isn't meant to be "encouraged" by giving out more money than most in-game grades. The whole point of dropping out and becoming adult is that your character no longer needs to study to work, and therefore shouldn't need any extra allowance, since they already know how to make enough money. It all goes back to "This is SchoolRP, not AdultRP", an argument that has been brought up on other occasions when people have suggested adding perks or benefits to the Adult role.

I do agree they should get at least some money for just being online, but it definitely should be lower than Grade-12, at the very least

There are numerous ways to get extra money on the server other than by allowances and faction work if you’re in one of the factions that don’t get paid much. You can learn to tailor, have your character model for certain tailor companies icly, work at a shop or multiple shops, sell things on auction, fish, etc. Theres really no point I see personally to add allowance to adult tags let alone faction members.

There are other ways to earn money on the server, passive allowance can only go so far for you. Everyone has a secondary profile, you're free to get a job at a shop or even just fish for your money if you desired more. There are other ways of getting money, even while being in a faction.

SRP is not an RPG progressive kind of game, meaning that;

People would aim to get adult role through means such as joining factions, staying there for 3 months then exiting, in attempt to gain an adult role.
