What's your suggestion?:
I've seen this done before and want to expand on it! While I'm not sure that people will love this suggestion, I want to recommend it anyway. The majority of us know that you're hit with a stun after being struck by lightning on SRP. I feel as if there should be a similar act for when you fall from a certain height or are caught standing outside in the rain just a little too long.

People should be roleplaying out falling from a certain height either way, because that's the rules .. but I feel like this would be a cool way to do it so that you aren't stuck thinking "I don't want to," "What would this cause," etc. You could have a message telling you that you've fallen and are now injured with (injury) .. likely a sprained or broken ankle, and forced to crawl. As for the rain, people don't get sick ALL the time due to standing out in the rain, but Karakura is a rainy place, we can all agree on that. There could easily be a message that has a 50/50 (or less likely chance) of appearing sometime during rainfall.

fall = hurt + randomly generated injury message (maybe depending on how many blocks you've fallen, but idk how you'd do that)
rain = cold ..1 in something chance of actually receiving this message because standing in the rain doesnt always get you sick

that being said, you dont always have to rp it out. this can obviously be changed around to fit the needs of the players, but it would be nice to have /SOMETHING/ just in case you do want to roleplay it out. a message minimum.

How will this benefit the server and community?:
I hope I explained my suggestion well, but I feel like this would help people actually follow guidelines regarding painrp when it comes to falling a certain number of blocks, and it would bring another realism aspect to the server. You fall, you get an owie. You stand out in the rain, you'll probably catch a common cold. simple!!!!!

no pls no, a similar thing was denied like 2 weeks ago.
wait actually im +1 on the get a message thing, but dont enforce cause lowkey 90% of my fall damage is an accident and i really dont wanna rp it out when its highkey a fall that wouldn't hurt me OOC, let alone my very fit character :(

you dont always have 2 RP it out, it'd just be nice to have something there just in case you do want to roleplay it out

I think this will only limit players at the ooc level. If players want RP like scenes, they will take the initiative to do it....

This in an interesting concept but depending. Some people find it extremely boring to partake in solo roleplay; I would suggest that people roleplay this out IF WISHED When they're with people icly. For an example my character was RomanceRP-ing on the bobcat spartan mountain thing and his gf kinda pushed him? And he slipped and fell... In that case I RP'd out a brain injury!

I mean why are you stunned from being in the rain? If you're trying to impliment a cold for example it takes a while to kick in unless you have a cardboard immune system. Moreover this adds so much pain to roleplay as well.Say you have an event or you're on a sports team, you literally will have to wait out the cold or fall bc of something you've done silly. What about AFK people at plaza ? They may be standing in the rain unknowingly and just get cooked.

never said stunned frum being in the rain ... i said a cold & it would be a 1 in like whatever chance

-1 With the Rain idea, I do totally understand it but i've been in countless RP situations out in the rain, where I simply cannot just step out of the rain because I am going to catch the flu or something. Rain usually happens so fast before most can even probably action with it, especially in those heavy DetailRP scenarios - it would honestly just be a hinderance for anyone if it pops into the chat or places a weird effect onto someone's character. Rain is something that can't just be prevented and it's highly unpredictable which it just randomly happens so it's easy to get caught inside of it, mid RP action.

However, I do believe that if you were going to implement this it should be a toggled feature so if you were actually rping you switch it on or if your not, switch it off.

I feel like if you're doing something oocly it may get annoying or if you go afk - if this is ever like a thing... I hope there would be a toggle so you can; A choose to have it or B if you need to go afk turn it off rq so nothing happens etc...

Fun fact there's a weather forcast command that tells you the weather. It's accurate

Unfortunately it doesn't seem to be super accurate (guess it's like real forecasts in that way)

forcing people to take action after a fall / being cold is an absolute no-go, we have seen similar interaction-forcing suggestions be denied for exactly that reason.

a little pop-up message SUGGESTING the user to take action could be interesting and may boost engagement with EMS, which i am all in support of.

so, instead of FORCING the user to crawl, or shiver, or stroll to the hospital- notify them in chat with something like;
"You begin to feel an immense pain in your legs" or "Shivers are sent down your spine as a result of the cool weather".
these are not requirements, rather they could function as reminders of- hey, rp this stuff out if you feel like it. which is what many people seem to forget to do..

if these flavour text messages are toggleable, even better.

As someone who actually deliberately goes out of their way to stand and go out in the rain... I don't think I've ever gotten sick from it, and that's as someone with a pretty mid immune system. Also, not all falls are universal, nor are the individuals involved in them. Some people slip, fall, and die in their bathrooms, meanwhile on the other end of the extremes, others survive falling out of an airplane at cruising altitude. I think the best thing that could be implemented for this would be the flavour text suggestion from 2500.

-1 I've seen this done before elsewhere and the entire system annoyed me half to death. It was a struggle to move around as a new player.
