Describe your activity on the server:
I first joined SRP back in 2020 and played relatively actively until 2022. I took a hiatus between 2022-2025, in which I rediscovered the server. I have been a daily player since March of 2025 with varying amounts of playtime. Currently, I am on the server each day for at least 4+ hours. This increases on days I do not have work, ranging from 4 to 8 hours. When I am online on the server I do my best to divert my time between my various factions & characters.

What experiences do you have with roleplay?:
I have varied experiences with roleplay that range from video games to written forums. I first discovered roleplaying around 2013 on roblox, continuing my hobby onto other platforms. A majority of my time for the past decade has focused on long-form written forums. Previously, I also ran small-scale minecraft roleplays through creative plots.
Over my years on SRP, I have been fortunate to be involved in several corners of the community:
As stated previously, my first official faction on SRP was EMS. Back in 2020 I was accepted into the Psychiatrist role. I remained in this department for several months before transferring to Doctor. I retired from SRP completely near the end of 2021, which included EMS.
I was accepted once again into the Doctor department in July of 2025. From here I was able to climb the ranks up to Paramedic over the course of eight months. During this time, EMS became my primary faction. My passion delved into putting together new procedures as well as the vast roleplay psychiatric work offered. On average I would spend around six to eight hours a day on medical roleplay.
Outside of the server itself, I became dedicated towards medical research. There were times when a player would present their character with a diagnosis I was unfamiliar with. When this happened, I would make notes of the procedure to share with other workers. An example of this was during the server’s sewer collapse event in February 2026. My character was trapped underground for about 5 OOC days. During this time she was made to adapt several operations to keep the other occupants alive. When my now ex-paramedic returned to work, she explained what she had done to her peers, in case of future emergencies.
While I sadly had to resign due to changes in my life, I always planned to return when time allowed. Medical roleplay has remained my favorite aspect on the server even in my absence from the faction. I make an effort to interact with medical workers for medicine roleplay whenever I am able.
I was accepted once again into the Doctor department in July of 2025. From here I was able to climb the ranks up to Paramedic over the course of eight months. My first experience with jock roleplay was once again back in 2020. I was able to get onto the bobcat’s baseball team where I stayed for several months. A majority of my time was spent in rivalry as the plugin often wouldn’t respond. I rejoined the baseball team upon my return in 2025, now able to actually learn to play!
During July of 2025, I was offered a spot on the bobcat swim team. It was here I was able to develop my detail roleplay further. During the four months I stayed, I participated in several events as well as further understood how to be a writer. Due to team-changes I took a break between November of 2025 and January of 2026 with jock roleplay.

While I did not discover the corner of crime until after my hiatus, it has become highly influential in my SRP journey. I was a part of the now defunct gang Man’en from April to October 2025. I found myself leading our action division while also climbing the hierarchy ranks. While short-lived, I did assist in securing unverified status. It became second nature to me to host training or create an active environment to roleplay. By the time Man’en’s chapter came to a close I had become third in command.
I’ve had a short career in a few other gangs such as the Tsu Clan and Parabellum. Though I currently consider myself retired from gangrp, I am forever grateful for the time spent. I still view both of these groups with the highest regard.
As of November 2025, I have also worked as a BMDA. Even before accepting an official position I had several run-in’s with the black market. Having a role with such varied options of play has worked to reignite my creative spark. One of the surprisingly enjoyable aspects of crime is interacting with emergency personnel. Whether this is building relationships through liver stab recovery or running in the sewers, there is never a dull moment.

What is your motivation for applying?
My motivation for applying is primarily motivated by a returned drive towards medical roleplay. EMS was the first faction I joined on SRP back in 2020. I was lucky enough to be accepted once again in July 2025, remaining my primary faction for eight months. It was during those months that I had to resign due to an unstable schedule. This has since resolved itself.
Psychiatry was the first department I joined in EMS, inspired by my real-life psychology major studies. No matter which department I was a part of, psychiatry continued to hold a special place in my heart. I believe the mental health of characters on SRP is often highly exaggerated or misunderstood. By promoting psychiatric roleplay we are not only able to help newer players, but also reduce stereotypes by the overall community.
Besides operations and sessions, I feel the most enticing part of EMS was the coworkers. From performing surgery together to smoke breaks on the roof, you always felt a part of something. Some of my life long friends were formed through coworker roleplays. It’s a unique environment that I’ve been unable to replicate elsewhere. I find myself coming in often as non-ems characters to experience roleplay with my old coworkers. I would like to be able to continue this while also assisting the faction - rather than diverting attention away from patients.
Outside of SRP itself, I highly enjoy psychiatric work. As I stated previously, I was a psychology major at my own school. Due to several factors I was unable to finish university. While I hope one day to finish my degree, for now I enjoy what SRP provides. I wish to incorporate my offline passion for mental health more so into the faction as well, if I am able to.

What knowledge do you have of the roles within the Hospital Faction?
Director: | The hospital director is the faction’s lead. They are the highest rank, always attributed to a staff member. Any issues, concerns, or final checks go through them. Being the director they are also able to do anything in the hospital. |
Deputy Director: | The deputy director is the second in command both in-character and out of character. They help the director oversee the entire faction, though they do not need to be SRP staff themselves. Just like the director they can perform any procedure in the hospital. They are the second highest on the chain of command. |
Chief Paramedic: | Chief Paramedic is the higher up stationed to the emergency department. They are expected to oversee other paramedics as well as host bondings. They are trained in every procedure, often third in the chain of command. |
Clinical Lead: | Clinical Leads are the higher-up’s stationed to either the doctor or psychiatrist department. It is up to them to make sure their respective department runs as smoothly as possible. They are also expected to host bondings for the departments to mingle at. |
Paramedic: | Paramedics are EMS workers that are part of the emergency department. They are cross-trained in both doctor as well as psychiatrist procedures. Paramedics are responsible for attending calls, going on patrols, and acting as leadership for other departments. They are considered the most experienced (as well as given different equipment than other departments). They can be trained to train others in specific departments. |
Attending: | Attending is the highest non-higher up rank someone can hold, besides the emergency department. These are often the doctor/psychiatrist that has not only been in the faction the longest but has shown consistent dedication. They have earned this rank by proving their knowledge & skills thus far. They are also capable of training new trainees in their department. |
Senior Resident: | Senior Residents have been around for some time as well as been actively dedicated. They have not reached the seniority of an attending, yet are not as fresh as residents. They may have more procedure options open to them. Senior Residents can be seen as the in-between in the department. They are also the first to be considered when an attending spot opens. |
Resident: | Residents are the lowest non-training rank in the faction. Someone is promoted (though not a true promotion) to resident upon passing an exam. They are still considered new to the faction. Residents may have certain procedures limited to them as well as needing to present their cases. |
Trainee: | Trainees are the newest members of the faction. They have just been accepted and must go under a 1-2 week training period. At the end, the trainees must pass an exam in order to become residents. Trainees are also not allowed to leave the hospital for off-duty. |

Its..” It was as if she had to remember the title herself, “Catriona Primrose Cel Tradat-Lahela!” - “But.. just Cat works just as well!” [!]

[!] “Pronouns?” Catriona gave an air of surprise. Was it not often the woman was asked? Even so, one couldn’t ignore the smile that grew. “She or her is fine, but … I don’t mind they either." Lahela nodded in self-pride. They had done quite a bit of soul searching as of recent. [!]

[!] Exasperation pushed between the woman's lips. Perhaps the interviewer wasn't aware how rude it was to ask a lady her age. Nevertheless, her smile persisted, "My age? It's Twenty-Eight! Just like my-" She couldn't say that anymore. Not only was she older, but her actual twenty eight wasn't here, ''Just like my, favorite month! February. I'm a.. pieces?" Perhaps it's best to move onto the next question. Second hand embarrassment anyone? [!]

[!] Shuffling could once again be heard. A large white purse with purple ruffles set against the table. Two framed diplomas were pulled out to showcase, "Right, ah, so.. I got my bachelors and master degree in biochemistry at Carol Davila University! In my home country, actually." Cel Tradat-Lahela pointed towards the second frame, whispering under her breath. "Got my minors in music theory too . . ." Right. Moving on. She was a doctor, wasn't she? "My doctorate program was done in Glasgow however. I planned to move to Scotland before Karakura. It's a, funny story actually!.." The recording goes on for another twenty minutes.. it's been trimmed for time. [!]

[!] If there wasn't a spark across the sheep's gaze before, it returned now. Catriona rolled her shoulders back as her curls bounced in shape. "I was proudly born and raised in Cluj-Napoca! While not the majority in Romania, I am part Romani on my father's side. I'm also part Indian and part Scottish!.." She often moved between countries in all honesty. At least she planned to stay in Japan for the foreseeable future. [!]

[!] Eyes flickered towards her prosthetic, right hand covering the other. If you had been looking for a ring - it was no longer there. “I’m.. a mother. I don’t have, time, for relationships right now-” Single. There was your answer. Though perhaps it was not always that way? “The only ring I have, currently, is from my sister, Dahlia.” [!]

[!] As the question was being asked, Catriona answered her phone. Whatever she said was not in Japanese nor close. After a few seconds the call quickly ended, "Sorry.. children. What will you do?" Not have them interrupt interviews? "Ah! Romanian is my first language.. however I was also raised speaking English. I learned Japanese in University!" - "I have also.. learned Korean and Hawaiian while in Karakura. I'm a little rusty however, I apologize!" [!]

[!] Recording loops, and loops. Starts of sentences that never ended. A slight shake in the room causes Catriona to suddenly stand - ending the interview. Any other media is lost. [!]
What is your character’s medical speciality? Why did they choose this focus?
"Why did I pick OBGYN and Pediatrics work? It's.. a bit of a long story." A sheep following the herds decision. All she had known how to do. "It was my brothers idea, I simply went along with it. Nevertheless it did turn into a passion for me!" Seen clear by the amount of children she treated previously. If you've seen a highschooler call her mom, they were most likely once a patient.
"My original path was Psychology with a focus on genetic linkage." Nearly a decade ago. "After several.. events in my life, I was reminded once again how important mental health is. Not only for those around you but yourself." If anyone were to ponder why she had taken such a long hiatus, there was an answer. "That's why I'm looking to restart my medical journey in the psych field!"
Does your character have any work experience in medical positions?
Catriona paused for a moment. Eyes glanced around the room, thinking of the memories that laid in each wall. "Ah, I used to work.. at a children's hospital, in Glasgow! Before.. transferring to Karakura." In truth most of her residency had been at this very hospital. "After I resigned as paramedic, I went into teaching and a small stunt as a reporter! I don't.. think those matter here though.."
Describe your character; how do they look, what makes them unique? How would they be perceived by others?
[Catriona Cel Tradat-Lahela] Small in stature, she moved with soft steps and quieter intent. Porcelain skin hinted at Romanian roots, kissed by the mist of Scottish hills - fragile yet enduring. Wisps of lavender hair framed a round, gentle face, emerald eyes shimmered with timid wonder. Her voice, scarce & mellow, seemed almost a secret. There was warmth to her, a presence that lingered like snow. She had a prosthetic left arm.
Catriona Primrose Cel Tradat-Lahela would stand at 4'8", or around 143cm. Her build could best be described as petite with a soft muscle - a teddy bear. South-Asian features promote a warm glow towards the woman's complexion. A gaze full of emerald swept across any room, hidden only by golden glass frames. If you were to hear the canary sing, a tone of simple promise would fly out. Yet if you looked at Catriona too long you would realize she was ... unbalanced.
Her left arm held a prosthetic that started at her elbow with unpleasant scarring. Each step she took, caused their right leg to limp. This could be hidden if she used her walking aids. If one were to walk up behind the lost lamb too loudly there may be a chance to fall. Did we mention to keep her away from any enclosed spaces?
In her personal life, Catriona is a mother at heart. She has adopted several children (officially and unofficially) on the island. She's committed to making the future a better place for the next generation. Though, this can also cause her to be a bit of a doormat. Confidence has thankfully improved since her first employment - at the expense of her latest relationship.
How does your character act around the hospital?
Catriona strives to remain focused at all times. Or, as best she can be. During her residency days, you could find the young cel tradat pacing the lobby in circles. Post-ADHD diagnosis, this behavior has lessened. Instead the doctor occupies her time catching up on a never-ending pile of paperwork.
When around her superiors, Catriona tends to fall shy. They were raised with strict ideals of hierarchies along with seeing what can happen when pushing back. When in a position of seniority, Catriona falls naturally into a leadership role. She looks out for anyone who may need assistance or a second opinion. During her training days, Lahela would bake sweets for the trainees each class. Even if her coworkers tended to eat them before the students.
If the lobby is empty and paperwork is low, Catriona will often find her way to the rooftops. This first became a safe space during her first resident days. Anytime the stress of work got too much, or the gossip too hot, a roof retreat was first on the agenda. Once in a blue moon she may indulge in a real smoke break. If she's not admiring the grass outside there's a chance she's once again in the kitchen.
Does your character function better on their own or with others?
Catriona functions the best as a team, rather than an individual. While this isn't to say she can't be independent. When the situations arises, Catriona is able to take charge while maximizing safety. However her anxiety as well as freeze-response can unintentionally cause issues. Lahela's best work can be seen when designating tasks amongst a group such as during surgery or group sessions. They are often the first to offer sharing a procedure rather than finishing alone.
Even outside of work, Catriona is very much a social butterfly. She will make small talk with coworkers if they cross paths. They look forward to creating relationships amongst the workforce. Though this is a blessing as well as a curse. Catriona carries the weight of others secrets while struggling to keep her own. Almost every relationship she's had beyond platonic has ended in breaks of trust. This has pushed her into having to relearn how to open up to those around her.
Catriona's main struggle is maintaining connections with a balance between home and work. She will often get lost in only her job or only her personal life. This pushes her to crave connection yet push them away. While returning to Karakura, Catriona looks to attend her own therapy sessions to improve upon these reactions.
