What is your motivation for applying?:
One of my largest motivators for applying to KPD is the amount of teamwork I’ve witnessed amongst them. It’s rare I see KPD alone unless they are off duty, and I believe a community like that is something I desire. Watching the members cover each other’s backs, hearing about the silly moments that may happen in the station and witnessing day to day tasks. I enjoy the aspect of taking patrols more frequently than I did in EMS, as it would get me out more IC and I’d still be doing a job. I’d get to know my patrol buddy, and inevitably find memorable scenarios along the way. I love how KPD also gets to interact with many other factions more frequently than others. I’ve noticed a lot of KPD go to Shrine, but some go to EMS, and even places like Town Hall. It’s refreshing to see so much interest and roleplay opportunities.
Speaking of.. another direction I’d like to explore is the different kinds of roleplay that you may experience as an officer. Similar to EMS, I do enjoy the action packed factions. From dealing with crime to wholesome patrols with paramedics, I’m interested in it all.
The character I’m applying with comes from a medical background, which is alwaysss an asset. However, I believe another faction will enrich her character development. KPD plays along well to her desire to help others, so it feels fitting that she enter this profession.
Overall, I’d love the change in pace. Especially since crime is a passion of mine irl. NOT committing it.. like true crime and what not. You get the point (ᵕ—ᴗ—)

What knowledge do you have of Police Work?
Ranking System
Starting Division | Main Division (Officers)
Cadet [Any] ~> Patrol Officer [7] ~> Corporal [8] ~> Sergeant [5] ~> Lieutenant [3] ~> Captain [1]
Note: Cadets are the ones in training. After an exam, they may move to Patrol Officer upon successful completion.
Optional Division | Detective Division (Detectives)
Detective Constable [4] ~> Detective Sergeant [5] ~> Detective Inspector [4] ~> Detective Chief Inspector [2] ~> Detective Superintendent [1]
Commissioner [1]
The commissioner oversees the faction, and does not belong to a particular division.
How to get Detective
Detectives are an exclusive branch that is almost akin to paramedics from my knowledge. The qualifications for it are to be notable, and active! If you are a fairly good officer and have worked your way up, showing dedication to the faction, you can be considered for this position. I’m not sure of which rank gives you eligibility, however it’s something that officers can work toward if they are interested.
Patrols
Patrols are usually done in buddied groups or with EMS! Usually, KPD will travel in at least a duo. However, they may also connect with paramedics to go on these patrols together. The aim of patrols is to surveillance the city and help where they are able.
Trainees are typically stuck within the KPD building, unless explicitly allowed by the commissioner or HU.
Riot Gear & Raids
Ever see KPD with that riot attire? Well, this is typically done amidst a significant threat upon Karakura (or training).
When someone is suspected to have illegal weaponry or such within a house, KPD are allowed to file a warrant to search the property!
Legal to Carry Weaponry & Patdowns
There is some weaponry like bats, or things like masks that are legal to carry! However, felons that have access to these items are not allowed to own them. They will be promptly removed
Due to being a lawyer for an extended period of time, I am aware of the laws in-game and what constitutes as a fine, misdemeanor or felony.
As for patdowns, usually an officer you are with will cover your back, then you swap positions with the suspect. If an officer finds something like a bat, they may spray it with luminol to check for blood or inspect it for dents. If there are sizeable dents, a person may be subject to detainment.
Interrogations & CCTV Handling
A job for KPD revolves around interrogations for detained subjects! This is to gather whether they have any information, pertaining to a crime and whatnot. They may have a lawyer for this if requested. CCTV as far as I know, can only be given out by higher ups in the facility. This excludes shops as they have their own internal CCTV.
Detainment vs Arrest
Detainment | You are brought in for further questioning, and/or they are reviewing possible evidence. This does not mean you are being charged. |
Arrest | You are certainly being charged with a crime. A bail will be set, and potential mugshots taken. You will be given the option to plead guilty or non guilty, and always have the right to ask a lawyer’s opinion before pleading. |
List of Codes
Although I am no longer EMS, there is a list of codes both parties had access to that had specific meanings over radio! For example, the famous 10-4 or even something like Code 0.
Radio Channels
These are the radio channels I have knowledge of existing upon KPD radios:
- KPD
- KPD & EMS
- KPD & Gov
Addressing people; K—
What do I mean by this?? Well, callsigns are large in the srp emergency community! They link to individuals and are far easier to write than full names. They go in official documents, and even as a way to communicate with other members. For KPD specifically, they start with K and add 3 more numbers. Example: K505.
Government Observations
When I was a lawyer, there were several things that I observed! This is not to say things haven’t changed, but this was how it operated prior. Minus my knowledge of warrants and whatnot since it was removed from view for lawyers!
Process | Knowledge |
Karakurian Rights | Each criminal that enters the station must be told of their rights! In recent times, these have been moved to the wall of a cell rather than verbally through an officer. |
Lawyer Requests | Any communication for an IC attendance from a government official is pinged in the ‘government’ channel. For example, an officer will ping the lawyer role when a suspect has requested one. It is the job of the officer to attempt to reach a lawyer if asked, however. |
Non Guilty Pleads | Non guilty pleads are logged in a forum channel, where the officer gives a summary of the events, along with evidence. Based on this, a judge may overlook the case and decide if it should be accepted or denied for trial. |
EMS Observations
As an EMS Psychiatrist, I had the opportunity to interact with KPD a fair amount! Here is my knowledge of internal processes
Process | Knowledge |
Incident Logs | Incident logs are filled out by EMS and placed into a forum channel! This happens when someone is injured due to a stated possible criminal act. KPD officers are able to pick up these cases and investigate. |
Emergency Broadcasts | Emergency Broadcasts are sent through a channel that both hospital & KPD can see. Each EMS role can be pinged (paramedic, psychiatrist, doctor), as well as the officers. Paramedics are typically pinged every time. |
Offtopic Chat | This is the area where EMS & KPD can converse together in the Emergency Discord |
KPD Evaluations | KPD members must go through both physical and mental evaluations to continue their work. They will be assigned specific members of the hospital faction. These evaluations should happen monthly, and every member of KPD gets them. If you are mentally or physically unfit, you can be placed on mandatory medical leave by your medical professional, or the higher ups of KPD themselves. |
Prison Roleplay
That’s right! Another type of under utilized roleplay is prison roleplay. Those who have been arrested and are awaiting bail or such, may roleplay with officers of KPD. It is optional, only if both parties feel like it. However, it creates a layer of depth to character interaction.
Why is Police important to SchoolRP?
Welllll you see.. as much as this is SchoolRP, it has a HUGE criminal player base. This means that there are many players committing crimes, as well as purchasing illegal weaponry depending on their gang status!! Or getting them through other means.. besides the point. In order to counter this side of SRP, there has to be some form of consequences. Especially to bring stakes & adrenaline excitement. That’s where KPD specialize; keeping the city safe. It’s also to note that SRP strives for realism. In doing so, it’s only realistic to have a police faction in a modern city setting. Not only does KPD provide this important aspect to the server, but it also gives more job options to aspiring players in the community. The diversity blends well to work in tandem with other SchoolRP jobs. Half the time the player base spends their days outside of school. Someone’s gotta watch them!
Do you acknowledge that if training is held whilst you are online, you are needed to attend or you will be punished?
Of course! It is always expected to attend training when you have the time.

⚠︎ Interrogation Tape; KPD Application ⚠︎
What's your character's full name?:
Officer Def’real tapped a black inked pen upon the paper that clipped to his steady board. He parted his lips to speak, sporting a bored expression, “Let’s start this off with the basics. State your full name for me, candidate.”
“My name is Cinder Schneidewind. No middle name,” she comments, sitting with her hands clasped politely within her lap.
How old is your character (if accepted)?:
The man flipped through the file relatively available to him, confirming the truthful statement. “What of your age? Care to explain why you denied being called a grandma by some college students?”
OOC Note: Real story by the way.. she was indeed called grandma at 28 </3
She internally sighed, her dialogue reading; ‘not this again.’ The woman smiled warmly at the interviewer, “I fear anyone younger may exaggerate the age gap. I’m 28 years old, born in 1997.”
What are your character's gender and pronouns?:
“I suppose that is.. adequate. However, what of the people discussing your gender? Many seem confused,” Def’real raised a brow.
She chuckled, “I’ll put these rumours to rest. I’m female, always have been despite the male confusion. I use She / They for pronouns, but I don’t mind if someone gets it wrong.”
Please select your highest academic role at the time of writing this application (Grade-12/Bachelors/Masters/PhD):
The officer hands her a paper with options to circle.
“Ah.. I see..” Cinder muttered, pressing the lead of a provided pencil into the sheet. She circled College before verbally stating, “I got my Bachelors of Science in Germany, and also finished medical school there. An ‘other’ option isn’t written here.”
“Perceptive,” Officer Def’real begrudgingly spoke.
OOC Note: Cinder is an adult tag, but I have 2 college bachelors as my highest academic related slots on srp
What languages does your character know besides Japanese?:
The male rubbed his temples with his index finger and thumb, “One final question before I go on break.” He paused for several minutes to think before continuing from where he left off, “We’ve had reports of you speaking some unknown language.. care to explain?”
Schneidewind offered Def’real a side eye, one that perhaps couldn’t believe what she had been asked. A subtle huff slipped past those supple lips, “They either heard one of the two languages I know that aren’t Japanese. That is German, my native, and Latin.”
He stood up abruptly, “That does make sense..” he checked over the file once more, “It all lines up. You’re free to go,” he gestured lazily, providing a dismissive wave of his hand. He was really just hungry.
─── ⋆⋅☆⋅⋆ ───
Describe your character; how they look, what makes them unique?
Cinder Schneidewind stands at approximately 5’9, noticeably taller for a woman. She has a crystal blue hued gaze that complimented her light brown messy locks. In certain light, her hair would glimmer with a subtle orange tone, often being the reason for the ginger comments. Similar to many in Karakura, she has piercings! Ball point piercings in her lower lip and right eyebrow were prominent upon her visage. That wasn’t the unique part of her. In every context, this far, she was fairly basic. Yet, something that suggested otherwise was the extremely large scale tattoo of an ethereal tree printed from her feet to stomach. It enveloped her frame on both sides, looking every bit the tree of life. A small detail many rarely notice is the irregular star shaped birthmark that rests at the corner of where the inside of her elbow begins to fold.
How does your character act in a professional/casual situation?
“I’d bring donutssss..” —Cinder Schneidewind probably
Professional / On Duty
As a professional, she is not entirely different from her casual self. However, the key difference is controlling when to express things. When speaking to suspects, civilians and officials, she is calm and collected with an understanding perspective. However, if she is alone with co-workers, she becomes a bit comedic when there is no seriousness to be required. It is a blend between the seriousness of work and a lighthearted atmosphere in between. She likes to cook for her co-workers and even offers to get them things when she’s out.
Casual / Off Duty
In a casual atmosphere, Cinder is far more carefree. She exhibits odd yet entertaining behaviour, with an underlying caring side. She is fiercely loyal, and tries her best to protect the ones she cares for. Food is her love language, and so is being neat and tidy. She will always help clean, and finds joy in providing for even strangers. She tends to visit various faction spots, especially EMS and Shrine.
What is their outlook on the idea of co-workers & teamwork?
Cinder is incredibly fond of teamwork. Although she can handle herself alone, a lot of her job as a psychiatrist in EMS is related to helping doctors with their craft. If it is efficient and helps someone, Cinder does everything to work cordially alongside them even if they may have questionable beliefs. Speaking and bonding with her co-workers was also a staple for Cinder Schneidewind. In 2025 she received the ‘Most Sociable’ Award in EMS, nominated by her peers. She adores interaction, and enjoys learning about her co-workers.
What's your character's backstory?
Cinder Schneidewind grew up in Heidelberg, Germany. She was the middle child to Freya and Severin Schneidewind. She grew up with her older brother, Volker, and eight years later; Niklas. Her father was a doctor, and mother a bakery owner. There was constant pressure within the household to follow a respectable job. Where Volker fell short, Cinder picked up. She excelled at medical learning, and from a young age aspired to be like her father. As this caused distance between the siblings, Cinder spent the majority of her time studying. It was to the point she had no friends, and never spent any time outside of school and studying.
Through the years of constant lying and secrets, Cinder discovered that her father was stealing from his job. She was told to keep quiet, and so she did. As time progressed, she became more unnerved. When she was in high school, she had returned home from a field trip that ended earlier. She was supposed to arrive several hours later. The woman had found her father with another woman, and this shattered her world. His explanations fell on deaf ears as she left. Cinder went to the police, and decided to officially report him for the theft of medical grade medications. Her mother, heartbroken by the revelations, had told the police everything she knew of him. How he had committed medical malpractice, among other distasteful acts. He was taken away that day.
She moved to Karakura after graduating high school, college and medical school, as she heard of her older brother living there. In hope of reconnection, she started a job as a psychiatrist and began a new life.

⚠︎ Training Tape; KPD Scenarios ⚠︎
If you see your co-workers physically abusing an inmate, what should you do?
Schneidewind adjusted a camera before finally pressing play. She waved towards the potential viewers, “Hello. I’m Cinder Schneidewind. Today we will be going over KPD Conduct.” She smiled warmly, lips curving upwards in a smooth transition, “What do you do when a co-worker is witnessed physically abusing an inmate?” A kahoot sound played.. you can’t be serious. She took this moment to stretch idly. “I’d first tell them off for behaving in such a way, before checking on the inmate for medical attention. Afterwards, I’d report their inappropriate behaviour to higher ups,” she shook her head, “That kind of behaviour is unacceptable in my book. They may be criminals, but they are human and deserve a level of respect too.”
What should you do if you see your co-worker being assaulted?
She steepled her fingers in deep thought, brows furrowed, “So if a co-worker was assaulted, what should you do?” She raised a brow as she inquired to the camera. “Well, I know my course of action,” she stalled to build suspense. Gurl get on with it, this ain’t no movie. “I would evaluate the situation. How many people are attacking them? Do I need back up? What is the safest route for both of us?” She hummed, “If I get hurt, there’s no way I can help my fellow co-worker. At the very least, I’d wield my taser and utilize it based on circumstances. I’d then transport my comrade to the hospital or have paramedics do so if they arrive as soon as possible.”
What do you do if you find out that your co-worker is corrupt and is helping criminal organizations?
“Now.. What about if I were to find a co-worker being corrupt? Criminal organizations and all!” The woman sighed, “This would be an unfortunate situation, however despite creating bonds with these people, we have a duty.” She gestured upwards towards the presumed staff level of the KPD station.. she didn’t actually know but heyyy. “I would take this information to the higher ups. If it is further sensitive, I would try to seek an audience from the commissioner directly.”
How would you react to a criminal trying to bribe you?
Cinder rested her hands upon her hips, standing confidently as she thought quickly on her feet, “Well, that’s a good question.” She would erase the writing on her white board, drawing the scenario in its place. “Here’s my advice from a definitelytrainedprofessional,” she added before a pause.
When she turned to face the camera again, the viewer was met with a reassuring smile, “I’d tell them it is nice for them to try and consider my wellbeing, but I have everything I need.” She huffed a bit, “In short, I’d say no and try to ignore any other pursuit. Officers do not accept bribes, regardless of what it is. We are here to do a job after all.”
The tape ends here.. maybe for the better.
