List your current and past IC/OOC faction applications:

Describe your activity on the server:
I currently have around 13 weeks of playtime on my main account and around a week on my alt account dqnt3_. I first joined SRP on the first of February 2025, so I’ve been playing for over a year now. At the beginning, I did take a small break because I was bored since I didn’t have any friends on here.

Usually I’m online every day after school for around 5 hours, now, since it’s summer, I’m online almost every day. Usually when I’m online, I’m roleplaying with friends, doing facultyRP, RomanceRP, JockPR, TeamRP, and FamilyRP. I also tend to AFK and play Roblox sometimes

What is your motivation for applying?:
KPD has always been one of the factions that interested me the most and the one I also wanted to join the most, because every roleplay scenario is different. Sometimes you’re doing reports, and then the next time you might just be helping people from the town. I think just because everything is so different that it’s also even more enjoyable.

I actually applied last wave but unfortunately got denied, and since I don’t give up that easily, I decided to spend more time on the server to improve my roleplay and, of course, learn more about the faction. Now for this wave, I feel way more confident since I learned so much new stuff. I was going to wait for internships before applying, but I don’t want to miss the opportunity.

What knowledge do you have of Police Work?

⋆ Main Division ⋆
Not sure if everything in here is correct, but this is what I think every role does.

Commissioner
The Commissioner is the highest rank in the KPD hierarchy, this role is only obtainable if you’re the faction lead. The Commissioner leads the faction, oversees operations, makes sure everything runs smoothly, and also makes sure the staff is active.

Captain
The Captain assists the Commissioner by supervising the department. They help with the staff, like ensuring they’re active as well. They make sure everyone is following the rules, and I think they’re usually the one who leads an operation if the Commissioner isn’t available.

Lieutenant
The Lieutenant oversees the Sergeants and Patrol Officers while helping with operations and patrols.

Sergeant
This rank supervises the patrol officers, provides help, and ensures officers do their duties professionally

Corporal
Corporals are experienced Patrol Officers who assist the higher ranks by supervising patrols and helping the lower-ranked officers

Patrol Officer
Patrol officers are the second lowest rank in the hierarchy, this role is given to the cadets who have passed their trainings

Cadet
These are the new recruits to the faction, they have to finish their training before becoming a PO

⋆ Detective Division ⋆
Once again, not sure if every explanation is correct.

Detective Superintendent
The Detective Superintendent leads the Detective Division and oversees the major investigations

Detective Chief Inspector
This Detective Chief Inspector assists in managing the investigations they also supervise the detectives

Detective Inspector
This rank supervises the investigations while assisting the lower ranks.

Detective Sergeants
They coordinate operations and assist in investigations

Detective constable
This rank is the lowest in this division, they investigate crimes, interview witnesses, collect evidence, and help solve cases.

⋆ Physical Items ⋆

Baton

This is used by KPD to defend themselves and safely stop or control suspects when needed

Handcuffs
This is used to restrain suspects after an arrest, this is also used if someone is being brought in for questioning.

Radio
This allows officers to talk with each other or talk with EMS to ask for help or to tell them what they’re doing.

Stun Blaster
This is to temporarily stop a suspect from moving, giving the officers time to take control of a situation.

Pepper Spray
Used to temporarily affect someone’s vision, making it easier for KPD to catch the suspect due to them not being able to see.

Breathalyzer
This is to check how much alcohol someone has consumed (not sure if this still gets used due to the alcohol plugin not being allowed)

Tranquilizer
This is used to safely make a dangerous suspect unconscious when this is the only option available

Riot shields
This provides extra protection during riots, being in large crowds, or other dangerous situations

Gas mask
This protects the person who’s wearing it from gases and allows them to safely enter dangerous areas

Crowbar
Used to force open locked doors or gain access to buildings if necessary

⋆ ItemRP Items ⋆

Luminol spray

This is used to reveal blood that may not be visible on weapons or in crime scenes

Latex Gloves
These are worn to keep evidence clean and avoid leaving unnecessary DNA at crime scenes

Fingerprint Scanner
This is used to collect fingerprints from objects or other items

First Aid Kit
This kit contains basic medical supplies to provide help until KPD arrives

Body Camera
This records interactions and incidents, this could also help provide evidence for some crime investigations

A police officer’s responsibilities contain lots of different duties, below this I will list up some duties:

Going on patrol around town
Responding to emergency calls
Arresting suspects
Writing reports of crimes
Helping the townies if needed
Enforcing the town laws
And soooo much more

I’m not sure if all of these are actually stuff that like a KPD officer does every day, but this is just all my knowledge!

I have a decent knowledge of the Karakura Law. I’ve spent some time reading through the town laws, and as an officer you’d of course need to know all the laws so you can ensure everybody is being a good civilian… if you don’t know the law, then you'll kinda have a problem since some people might be breaking rules but you just don’t notice.

I’m familiar with the different categories of offenses, including:

Fineable Offenses
Motor vehicle offenses
Animal-related offenses
Minor crimes
Assault Crimes
Government Crimes
Major Crimes
Murder crimes

As listed above there are multiple offenses in the law book, each offense has its own category as well, a felony or a misdemeanor… In the law book, you can also see how many months jail your character would get if caught doing these crimes. I could list them up, but there are a lot…

Why is Police important to SchoolRP?
The Police Faction plays a big role in keeping SchoolRP active and enjoyable, of course less than the schoolRP its self but yeah. There are a lot of thug students and adults, and without KPD it will just be utter chaos, so KPD helps maintain order, respond to emergencies, and ensure that roleplay remains fair for everyone even if you don't actually crimeRP. Without KPD, the crime faction would also not really be structured, since, like I said, it will just be chaotic.

Do you acknowledge that if training is held whilst you are online, you are needed to attend or you will be punished?
I do acknowledge this!

What's your character's backstory?

⊹₊˚‧︵‿₊୨ Yumi’s Backstory ! ୧₊‿︵‧˚₊⊹

Yumi was born in Japan and is the second youngest out of four siblings. Growing up in a loud and hectic household with three siblings meant she learned how to deal wth lots of different personalities and emotions.

After high school, she went to college to study Criminology. She had always been interested in law and wanted a career where she could help people while keeping communities safe. She even married her high school boyfriend, and they had a daughter together called Kaen. But sadly enough, not long after, he passed away due to an illness, which left her raising Kaen all alone while still trying to finish her education, which was really difficult.

Years later, she traveled to Belgium and ended up meeting her future husband. They built up a life together and had another child, Mateo. 10 years later, her husband also passed away, making her a widow again.

Eventually, feeling tired, overwhelmed, and believing her children would be better off being surrounded by their family, she sent them to Karakura to live with their uncle.

After a couple of years, Yumi had rebuilt her life and had even gotten a new husband and child named Ouka, but the marriage didn't go so well… they sadly got divorced and they went through a long custody battle, which she won… a couple of years later she decided to go live in Karakura and get a job as a tutor at KHS. Even though she always wanted to be an officer since she thinks she would find joy in this job. Being able to work with a lot of people just made her enjoy it a lot.

She now has a job at her son and daughter’s school as a tutor, but she decided she wants to try and become an Officer since she never got the chance to after her studies.

Can you legally own a pocket knife in Karakura?

She looked up as she heard the questions, thinking before shaking her head really soft “Nopesies, you can not legally own a pocket knife in Karakura” she nodded as she just kept talking “We have rules about what is legal to carry and what isn't legal, only bats and I think wrenches are allowed to be legally owned”, Akori adjusted the way she was seated as she locked her hands together

Name 5 medical items that do NOT require a prescription
Yumi once again adjusted how she was seated, also moving a strand of hair that fell in front of her face. “Hmm, I would say paracetamol, aspirin, a wooden cane, melatonin and uh… ” she stopped talking for a bit, trying to remember the last one. “AHA! Cough syrup, that was the last one.” A huge smile popped up on her face, she actually remembered five items!

If you see your co-workers physically abusing an inmate, what should you do?
Her smile instantly disappeared as she heard the question, blinking rapidly. “I would tell them to stop immediately. No matter who it is or what they’ve done, nobody deserves to be treated that way.” She lowered her hands on the desk. “Once the inmate is safe, I would report what happened and make sure everything is documented.” She let out a quiet sigh, still disappointed even though she hasn’t actually seen it happen yet

What should you do if you see your co-worker being assaulted?
Her eyes widened, she was in shock after hearing that “Well first of all I’ll have to check if my co-worker is safe” she leaned forward with her hands on the desk IF it’s safe for me to for todo so, I would step and while also asking for backup if needed” she pauses for a bit “I’d work alongside my fellow officers to bring the situation under control and detain the suspect if needed” she nodded as she locked eyes with the interviewer “After all of that I would check on my co-worker to see if they’re in need of medical attention.” she then leaned back in hr chair letting out a sigh as she finished speaking

What do you do if you find out that your co-worker is corrupt and is helping criminal organizations?
Yumi let out a small sigh of disappointment, “I would report it immediately trough the correct channels” she interlocked her fingers as she spoke “I would also provide any evidence or information I have before reporting it to show I’m not just making assumptions” she smiled at the interviewer “I do know it won’t be easy to do this, especially if they have neem on the force for a long time, but corruption is a really bad thing it would just make people trust KPD less…” she looked around the room, looking at the clock, inspecting it.

How would you react to a criminal trying to bribe you?
A quiet laugh escaped her. “A bribe? tsk... I would refuse that straight away” Her smile widened, but her tone stayed serious “No amount of money would make me my wonderful career, plus I’m already rich anyways so I don’t need a bribe gosh” she adjusted her sleeves as she let out a laugh after he own comment of being rich “I would continue handling the situation like I usually would, I would put this in my report. IF someone is bribing me now they would totally do it again, so it’s important that it’s in my report” she then let out a small sigh, the interview is over “Thank you so much for having me.” she shook his hand.
