Describe your activity:
I've been a part of SRP for maybe a little over six years now, often departing and returning during different phases of my own life. Over the periods of time where I was active, I'd log on for hours, often ruining my own schedule just to get online, also ruining my sleep schedule... Especially during my earlier years, I was very involved and a lot of my energy went towards the server and the people in it because I had genuinely enjoyed it. More recently, though my priorities have shifted, I'm still definitely active just less. I've taken on a lot more responsibilities, as in, clubs. teams. school work, work, and gym. My schedule is a lot more busy than normal, half of which is the reason I had stepped away from SRP for a few weeks. That said, I returned because I still care about the people and server. I try and log on whenever I can, or when I'm needed. But if I had to rate my current activity activity level, I'd definitely say around a 8.5/10, not what I'd like it to be (I'd enjoy a 9) but it's good for where I am currently with my schedule.

What is your motivation to apply for reporter?:
My overall motivation to apply for this faction is my creativity. It's fun making exciting and totally different types of reports, and writing has always been a hobby for me throughout my life. Despite writing and english being one of my fave things, I may of, or may not of, failed english ONCE, but I SWEARRR every other time I totally aced it! I promise! Even ask my teacher. He would definitely tell you I'm FANTASTIC at writing. I hope. I've spent too long inside the sports faction that I think it's time for me to take a big break from it (in another cool, totally not a bunch of writing, faction). Previously this year I had applied for reporter, and I can admit I had lots to work on back then *(like.. A LOT, and i'm sure you noticed that too) but now I'm definitely way better at writing (maybe not at picking prompts) and grammar! I'm a decently creative person in the aspect that I enjoy decorating and finding new things to write about, its total fun, (and stressful).
Do you have any experience with writing? What is your relationship with writing?:
Factions:
I've been in three factions, council, teacher and sport. During my time in each different faction I've had my fair share of descriptive and detailed writing. I've written stories, actions, biographies, at one point I even wrote my own novel which I've yet to show anyone, and doubt that I ever will lol! I may not have been in many factions, have a known name, but I've experienced almost every roleplay in the book, almost every one. My jock era was pretty much a while ago, but I had such fun and different people to roleplay with and experience the plugin aspect of srp. I've been in council, col-track, hs-football, hs-baseball and hs-baseball! I don't intend on going back to the sports faction for a little while, and so I am applying for factions I take an interest to. Teacher, I didn't spend long in this role but the time I did spend I was always writing always planning, each lesson one after another and I did my best. Some say it was good, others have a diverse range of opinions.
Books:
I read books! Like.. a lot of books, I even have my own (6) whole book shelves full to the brim with different types of books! I've read every single one atleast twice, and expect to be done rereading them three times by December! Books are fantastic for writing growth, but how? Well different books have different writing styles, and with different writing styles comes a lot of words, some you may not know. And by reading books you're actually absorbing material like, how they punctuate a sentence, grammar, story line, it gets you thinking as well. All these options can make your writing better if you are actively reading, with such knowledge from books, you can applying that to your own writing. (I actually wrote my own novel! Though I probably won't show it to anyone quite yet.)
My overall relation with writing is pretty good if you ask me, though I know I am weak in specific areas, with some time and effort, I will get better.
Are you aware of - and will follow - the set of rules provided to you?:
Yes I am aware and will follow the rules, as well as the official srp rules.
Why should we accept you over others?:
Honestly, I know there are awesome writers out there, and the ones who have also already applied, but I would like to think I stand out and should be accepted over others because not only do I have such a lot of experience, and a fantastic relationship with writing, I am also quite the fast learner, and super nice! I've tried to be original in my application, though I know others have done what I have, e.g Made the application look nice, actions in the ICLY section, Character appearance introductions, the whole lot. But even so, I've spent a lot of time and effort on this application. I've tried to show my creativity in my own way, and plus, my activity is pretty stable on both discord and srp, also basically i'm always on forums which is a shock even for me.
I've been in three factions, two of which require detailed writing, Sport faction and Teacher faction, I'm also currently on pending for my Professor application of Anthropology- social science. In all my current applications i've shown that I can be creative, I can make eye catching things. I may of not been in a faction for a while, but I would absolutely love if I could be part of the news faction, to be part of something new to me, unseen waters. This is an opportunity for not only me to rise in what I enjoy doing (writing) but also so I can use my creativity in a multitude of ways in reports.
Do you understand you have to stay completely neutral with all reports? (Your report can't have any OOC or IC bias towards a specific group.)
Yes I understand.
Do you trust that you will be able to stay active and complete the monthly quota?:
Yes, I can trust myself to be completely active and reach the monthly quota.
Summarise what you imagine work as a reporter is:
To summarise what I imagine working as a reporter is like, it's hard. Hard to find prompts, hard to get people to read it, it has to be something cool, something eye catching, something.. informative. To hook the reader one must create immediate emotion or curiosity. Reporters also speak over the radio, with songs of the day or the weather updates.
Appearance OOCly stated.

Izabelia has gorgeous, blush-pink hair that twirls around her face. Her bangs frame her warm and sweet features, half-lidded doe eyes with gorgeous violet/blue eyes, finished with a glimmer. A cupid themed headband sits atop Iza's shiny hair, black thorns tipped with tiny shades of red on the sides, paired with a lively cupid arrow that has the illusion of being pierced through her hair but if definitely apart of the headband accessory. Fake elf ears definitely bought from walmart, or some overseas store clung to her ears, almost realistic. Keyword, almost. Adorned with a star and heart earing!
On her shoulders, two bright gold crescent tattoos ink her warm skin, standing out heavily against the fair tone.

A young bubbly (literally) little bundle of joy walked through the door,
she stood at the estimated height of 4'0, a tiny little colorful woman. Her bright pastel pink coloured hair drew attention from the shining sun.
She eventually sat down on the seat provided, with a huge excited grin on her face.
Full Name:
"Oh my god! Hi hi hi!!!" The woman as practically JUMPING out of her seat as she frantically waved her hands hello. So much energy! Where did this bundle of joy come from? "So happy to be here! I'm sure you can tell- right? Oh sorry let me introduce myself- oh my god is that a bird!" There she went getting distracted by the smallest thing. Her eyes glistened as she watched the bird soar through the sky, pointing at it like it was the most fantastic thing in the world, after a moment she snapped out of her trance, and apologised furiously. "I'm so sorry!!! Please forgive me..! My name? Oh yes! That was the question.." She grinned stupidly, "I am Izabelia Cuupid!"

Energetic, she got up to look around. "Ooo..." She poked the neatly piled stack of papers.. "Oh! Oh my goodness I'm so sorry!" Izabelia sat back down, hands folded in her lap. "Oh the question.. UHMM!!! I mean Iza, Belia, Lia, Izzy, Iz.. Oh wow, so many nicknames to choose! So unsure which one I like the best.." She made a face, straining to pick one of the many options she had laid out. "Hahh... I can't pick! Just call me anything, I suppose!" She cheesed happily. "Miss.. Mr.. Huh? What's the need for formality? Ok ok, i'll just answer, Miss is fine."

Past job/work experience:
"Uhm.. Well does a cashier at Daisuki Yohin count?" She tapped her chin, clearly in thought. "Yeah, I think it does... Well it says PAST JOBS or WORK experience..." Was she seriously speaking to herself? "Well it's where I work! So it definitely counts as work experience!"
Degree/qualifications:
"Grade-12! Super awesome right?!" This woman could not sit still as she was bouncing around in her seat, full of unused energy not even herself knew where she got it from. Perhaps she was just born with it? "Or well, I think it's amazing I made it to grade-12.."
Nationality and born location:
"I am Japanese, born in the heart of Japan!" Izabelia grinned proudly. "Oh wait, I need to be specific? Uhm... Tokyo!"

Phone Number: 030-
"Om.. uh.." She fiddled nervously with the hem of her skort, clearly embarrassed, "I don't know- oh wait, I can check my phone!" Her face instantly lit up at this. She reached into her purse and quickly unlocked her phone. "030-303-4802!" She smiled brightly, her eyes twinkling. "That's it!"
How would you describe yourself in under 150 words?
"Bubbly! Super cool!" She grinned, "Am I answering this correctly?" Tilting her head, and despite the confusion she continued talking anyways. "Well!!! My friends call me loud and SUPPPERRRRR friendly! I also really like the color pink and purple, I mean if you couldn't already tell! My hair is pink! um.. what else.. I like speaking, a lot." Iza tapped her chin, "Er... Making friends.. I do that well! I think thats it.. I'm just super excited all the time, friendly, and loyal."
What are you interested in writing about? How will you achieve this, and would you consider going out of your comfort zone?
She slowly read the question out loud, "Whhat... am I interested.. In .. writing about?" It suddenly clicked, and her expression went somewhat serious, "Oh! Well you see I don't really have any preference, but if I HAD to choose, maybe something about nature, or new town changes... Perhaps even the school!" She gave a wide grin. "Yeah! Totally! Heh, I mean I know the school just had a change of sport team members and captains, also added a new team, dodgeball! A little while ago but any ways. That's if I had to choose thoughh.. I don't mind writing any prompt or idea." Izabelia grinned, her nails tapped against the wooden desk, something she did when seriously nervous. She glanced down to read the next question, letting it sink in before she answered. "Okay, so I'm going to split this question into two so I can focus on each one separately! Achieve first, then comfort zone."
Her hand slid across the desk and back to her lap, she inhaled sharply before exhaling. "The way I'm going to achieve such a feat is simply by doing it, and doing it properly the first time. Sure for the first time, (and a few more) I might need a little guidance or someone to read my prompt before published, but if I keep doing it, keep getting feedback, then what's the problem? I'm making mistakes and getting feedback from those with more experience, and from that feedback I'm learning how to fix my mistakes and apply that to the next report. Eventually I'll just get better and better with the right environment and help, (ESPECIALLY THE FEEDBACKK!!)." Iza took another breath, slowly this time, as if calming her racing nerves. "I'd be going around and gathering my own data to put in the report, just sitting doing nothing is not going to get me anywhere and certainly not quota."
She smiled brightly.
"Question one of two done! Next one." She held one finger up before pointing at the next question in line. "My comfort zone?" Iza's expression went neutral, almost stern. "I would gladly consider going out of my comfort zone if it means learning more and acquiring better reports. I know that to be the best I can be, I need lots of feedbacks. I need someone to call out what I've done wrong, even if they don't tell me what but just give me a heads up, I'll figure it out and fix that for the next time." Her playful demeanor came from absolutely no where as it rolled through the door unannounced and, straight back to her. "You know what I mean? We are all human and we can all make mistakes, and give feedback, but that doesn't excuse us from the way we interpret that feedback and modify it into our work to make us the best we can be."
What are your expectations for the job?:
"I know this job might be draining and tiring, but I will fight to stay, fight to join!" Standing up abruptly, Izabelia's chair fell to the ground with a loud thud, "Oh my goodness! I'm so so so sorry!" Iza rushed to pick the chair back up and sit down, a deep blush colouring her cheeks, "Ah! How embarrassing... Too much..." She took a moment to compose herself with a small ,and quiet breathing exercise. "Okay.. Back on track, I shall rephrase that sentence. Even if I were to be denied, I'll keep applying till I am accepted to the role, oh and my expectations are to that I will surrounded by those who are way better than me at writing and have definitely got the willpower and guts to call me out with things I've written wrong, or have messed up in general. I expect the fact I will have to do my own research on a topic, ask people questions on various ideas, and be involved in the workplace. No going ghost! Right? haha.." Izabelia awkwardly laughed at her own joke, not funny Iza.. Not funny. "Ahem.. Sorry. Er.. I know there's a quota to complete so that's part of my expectations, to complete it of course." - "I have many expectations (Basically just give me feedback on my reports, and be my friend), and I do hope they aren't too high.. I don't want to stress anyone or anything. But that concludes my expectations."

#1 - General report. Report about a topic, informing players about an event or significant issues to Karakura.

#2 - Interview. It's important to have well-rounded questions. Create your own interview with ten questions or more. And answer them yourself.

[!]
Click! The old recorded snapped on, the aging tape dragging itself into motion as a awful eeekkk sound was heard.
I.
"Thank you for inviting me in for this interview, before we start the questioning, may I have your name, tittle, or anything else you would prefer to be known as? As well do you consent to this being published?"
S.
"You can simply call me Seluvis. I consent to this being published."
I.
"Perfect! I have at least 10 questions minimum for you to answer, and to staff us off, you seem to know quite a bit about the red circles found in the caves, why is that?"
S.
"Well, we'd be wrong to see them simply as 'circles'. They are spirals. Such a symbol is hardly new. It carries a whole bunch of different meanings, depending on who you ask. I've always seen it as symbolic of the path to enlightenment, with the spiral's twists and turns representing the difficulties... Things obscuring the path, and the final straight line symbolizing the clarity and peace of nirvana. But that's just how I was raised."
I.
"I er.. I see Seluvis! Interesting, very.. I uhm.. Er" - "Is there a danger in misinterpreting these symbols? Could someone accidentally gain misfortunate by handling them wrong?"
S.
"Handling... a spiral, wrong? I don't see how. They're just symbols. The only thing you're really 'in danger' of is misinterpreting their meanings. Spirals come in all different shapes and sizes, from the Triskelion, to the Unalome. I guess knowing your spirals, and in context which they were made is.. what you'd want to do?"
I.
"Right! I see! If misreading the message is the real danger, then what do you think people are most likely getting wrong about these cave spirals in the first place?"
S.
"I honestly haven't seen many people commenting about it, to be honest. Not a single karakura news report. Nothing. Maybe they were just made for meditative reasons."
S. In a quieter voice, speaking to someone else.
'WE SPOKE ABOUT THIS, we can set fire to the dolls later!'
A long pause
'God you're so pretty.'
I.
"oh uh.. Ahem.."
S.
"Sorry, what was the next question?"
I.
"Meditative or not, the design is still on purpose. Looking closely at the spirals shape and carving style, what specific features stand out to you the most?"
S.
"Probably the size and color. They are the most visually striking ones I had great fortune to witness in October. Truly, a wonderful color, associated with active compassion, passion, and power. Of course, again, depending on who you ask, red carries all sorts of connotations. I was told they represent the blessings of practice, such as achievement, wisdom, virtue, and fortune. I suppose it's why I'm so fond of them!"
I.
"If the color and size are that intentional, what do you think the person who made such spirals was trying to convey a blessing? or could they have been marking something of importance beneath, or around the caves."
S.
"Whoever made the spirals clearly did so deliberately. All were found exclusively in caves within Ochiba Forest. I can only speculate as to why. In truth, I do not know who placed them, or why."
I.
"We're at the halfway mark! Five more questions and five more answers to go! Ahem! If all the spirals appear strictly in the Ochiba Forest, have you noticed any specific patterns in where they've been located?"
S.
Silence, refusing to respond.
Eventually he spoke.
"I mean... I did hear people set up candles and cushions around them. And- Saw them too, before they were removed.. Make of it what you will."
I.
"Thank you for the information! When you do say you've seen candles and cushions placed around the circles .. what do you believe people were using these sites for? Rituals or something entirely different?"
S.
"I do not know. I've no clue who placed them. But I did use them for meditation."
I.
"Oh! Was it relaxing-?"
S.
"It was, yes. Very quiet. Peaceful."
I.
"Lovely to hear! Now, when the items had been removed, were there any trace left behind? Footprints, markings, anything at all?"
S.
"Maybe. I don't know."
I.
"That's okay! Last question before I get out of your hair. Have you seen anything like this unnatural phenomenon anywhere else in the forest? Or was this completely unique?"
S.
"No, never. I've never seen anything like this during my lifetime. The spirals were beautiful while they lasted."
I.
"I see... Well Thank you for your time Seluvis!"
S.
"You're welcome."
[!]
And off with the voice recording.
