Describe your activity on the server:

I try to spend at least a couple of hours on SRP every day. I first joined SRP on February First 2025, but I actually took a break pretty early on because the IC time lowkey felt the same as OOC, so I technically really started playing since March. Since then I've been very active

I try to get on daily unless school or other stuff outside of SRP make me unable to do so, but even ten i do my best to hop on when I can.

What experiences do you have with roleplay?:

I joined SRP in February 2025, so it’s been over a year, but I have been roleplaying way longer than that but mostly on Roblox though. Roblox RP and SRP aren’t exactly the same thing, but it still helped me a lot with character interactions and making new characters.

In my time on SRP I’ve experienced different experiences, like ParentRP, which is a big one since one of my characters has two kids, and ClubRP because one of my characters is the Vice lead of the photography club, and of course, FacultyRP… I was in the teacher faction for half a year, and now I’m in the employee faction!

What is your motivation for applying?

I applied once before and didn’t get in, but that honestly just made me want to apply again and also improve my roleplaying skills before trying again, which is why I didnt apply last wave.

The internship program I once got accepted for also helped alot, it gave me a real look at how the faction actually works from the inside, and just because of that one week of internship I knew I genuinely wanted to be in the hospital faction. I myself have had to interact with EMS alot due to my char being a bit… clumsy and it looked really fun.

Which role are you applying for?

SECTION 1: PERSONAL DETAILS
Character’s Full Name:

She looked around for a couple of seconds before answering. My first name is Yumi and my Last name is Akori, so Yumi Akori.. Feel free to call me Yu but nobody does that... heh” She put her hands on her lap and waited for the next question.

Character’s Gender and Pronouns:

Her left eyebrow went up a little bit, isn't it obvious? “I’m a Female, she/her.” She kept looking at the interviewer, ready for the next one!

Character’s Age (if accepted):
She blinked a little. “You should never ask a woman for her age, but I’m 42 years old- wait no, not old I meant young!” She let out a small laugh. She isn't old… definitely not gosh…

Character’s Academic Background:

She cleared her throat and adjusted her glasses on the bridge of her nose "Ah, I'm glad you asked... well first of all I have a Highschool diploma" She lifted one finger "Then I went to get my Bachelor's Degree is Psychology" She put up another finger "And lastly I got an MD" She put up her third finger she waited a few seconds for the interviewer to write it down and then put all three of her fingers down

Character’s Nationality:

She looked over at the door really quickly and then back at the interviewer. “I’m half Japanese and half British, I know I don't sound british and all but I've been living in Japan for a really long time!” She really didn't sound British though, must be because she lived in Japan for most of her life.

Character’s Marital Status:

She went dead silent after that one… she let out a small cough “I’m a widow, sadly enough…” She lifted her hand up to the corner of her eye and wiped away a tear, hoping her mascara was still okay. "I'm so sorry, I usually never tear up while talking about this.."

Character’s Religious Denomination:

She thought for a second, but like really hard “I’m not religious, but I do believe in life after death and things like that!” She nodded while looking at the interviewer

Character’s Spoken Languages:

She gently moved a strand of hair that was covering her face behind her ear “I speak Japanese, English, and French… Although I only use French to speak with my kids!” A small smile popped up after saying that!

Character Backstory (Optional):

⊹₊˚‧︵‿₊୨ Yumi’s Backstory ! ୧₊‿︵‧˚₊⊹

Yumi was born in Japan and is the second youngest out of four siblings. Growing up in a loud and hectic household with three siblings meant she learned how to deal wth lots of different personalities and emotions.

After high school, she went to college to study psychiatry. She even married her high school boyfriend, and they had a daughter together called Kaen. But sadly enough, not long after, he passed away due to an illness, which left her raising Kaen all alone while still trying to finish her education which was really difficult.

Years later, she traveled to Belgium and ended up meeting her future husband. They built up a life together and had another child, Mateo. A couple of years later late her husband also passed away, making her a widow again.

Eventually, feeling tired, overwhelmed, and believing her children would be better off being surrounded by their family, she sent them to Karakura to live with their uncle.

After a couple of years Yumi decided to go live in Karakura and get a job as a tutor at KHS. Even though she always wanted to be a psychiatrist she found joy in this job. Being able to work with alot of people just made her enjoy it alot.

She now has a job at her son’s school as tutor, but she decided she wants to try and become a psychiatrist.

SECTION 2: MEDICAL HISTORY

What is your character’s medical speciality? Why did they choose this focus?

Yumi is specialised in child and adolescent psychiatry. She got interested in this while she was studying, when she started realizing how much mental health at an early age can actually make someone turn out later in life. The earlier you catch something the better of course, and that idea really stuck with her. Being a mother of two was an important role in this, having her own kids gave her a much better understanding of emotional development and behavior which just made her want to work even more with younger patients.

Does your character have any work experience in medical positions?

She does… After finishing medical school Yumi worked as a psychiatrist intern at a hospital in a different country, here she did patient evaluations, participated in therapy sessions and worked under alot of other psychiatrists with more experience.

SECTION 3: CHARACTER KNOWLEDGE

Describe your character; how do they look, what makes them unique? How would they be perceived by others?

Yumi looks clean and professional at work, nothing too fancy just simple clothes and her hair down. She’s rather quiet but tends to be talkative sometimes. shes really easy to talk to and she actually listens to people when they speak. Most people who meet her will probably trust her really quick, which makes sense for the psychiatrist job.

How does your character act around the hospital?

At the hospital she’s kind but she stays focused, she makes sure not to use too many medical terms to not freak out her patients. She likes keep to herself and doesn’t really get involved in co worker drama or gossip… she also stays calm in very stressful situations.

Does your character function better on their own or with others?

She can work pretty good on her own, especially when she needs to focus on a patient or just think something through without distractions. But she can work with other people just fine when she has to, but she wouldnt mind asking a coworker for help if needed. She just prefers for things to stay calm around her while shes working.
