What experiences do you have with roleplay?:
I personally started roleplaying a long time ago. Including Chat Rooms, or even simple video games. My writing developed as I grew older, and as I explored multiple different things. Taking a leap back from when I first joined the server around 2020, I caught onto many different roles from that time and until now, Faculty, Teams, Shrine, Council, or even simple roles like Adult and College.
What is your motivation for applying?
My motivation for applying is to experience what the role has to offer. I myself have dived into a bit of medical subjects and have found them intriguing, so EMS has stood out to me. I have a few friends within the faction, and I feel as though it'd be a fun experience most indefinitely. There's a plenty of factions I've been in. but I've never been in a major one like this before. I do hope that one day I'll get in!

Ujarak Katsumi lived in Japan's Osaka Prefecture while he was young with his mother, developing most of his knowledge and mannerisms from her. As time went on, she eventually taught him how to cook and how to clean, alongside all the basic necessities one needs to know too flourish. She seemed to be a simple woman, caring for both him and his younger sister Yoriko at the time while also handling a job from home. His father seemed to be absent in America, focusing on his job and studies there for a few years. Periodically he'd visit with gifts for a few weeks, and head back not long after.

As he had gotten older, he started to care for his sister as well, assisting his mother with most of her housework as a sign of respect and acknowledgement. While also focusing on some studies at a local school. The two siblings would wake up around 8:00 and walk to school, arriving around 8:30 for their studies and headed back around 3:00-4:00pm. This repeated for a long while until he graduated at 17.

Now at the age of 17, he decided to finalize his path. Picking the Medical field in specific and moved to a local college in Tokyo. From a few years he finally graduated and earned his bachelor's degree, while also moving to America to further his studies. While in America he spent time and lived with his father for a little while, then he had decided to complete medical school alongside his residency in psychiatry, some extra programs. And an extra year in fellowship training.

Soon after he was done with his fellowship training, he was moved to a psychiatric clinic around America. And worked there for a bit as an in-patient psychiatrist. Not a long while after, he had decided that America wasn't his preferred ideal living space. And moved to Karakura instead, in which he had left his work behind for a while.

What is your character’s medical speciality? Why did they choose this focus?
Being more connected with Neurology, Ujarak developed an interest within the study during college. He had then decided to continue on studying it as he graduated with a bachelor's degree. From that time and forward he moved from Osaka's prefecture to America and kept his knowledge up to date. His understanding on the subject increased further as he took multiple medical programs and residencies. Finalizing his studies in order to become a full-fledged Psychiatrist.
The specialty came to him out of eagerness and interest, after a few different tries with different studies he found the one he was best at. And the one that he was most focused on.

Yes, a bit. After his residency and fellowship training, he was placed in a psychiatric clinic in America. Which he had cared to patients as an in-patient psychiatrist.

SECTION 3: CHARACTER KNOWLEDGE

Describe your character; how do they look, what makes them unique? How would they be perceived by others?
Ujarak Katsumi is a 30-year-old Japanese/American man, stood at 6'4. His black fringe sat loose on his forehead, framing his face with his fierce look. His skin pasty with a bit of a red hue within his cheeks. Placed neat on his right eye was a black colored eye-patch, hiding its mysteries and tales of how or what happened for him to receive it; Or even what happened to his eye. The man's left eye was a distinctive gray color, Cloudy, and held almost no to little emotion however that was far from the truth. A scruff-like beard was present on his face as it fit in with the pointiness of his jawline. Looking down to his neck, it was visible that the man's figure was rather robust, a wider build in general. Once observed his Broad shoulders were present, his limbs much thicker and his waist much wider, aligning better with his shoulders. The clothes he wore were somewhat custom-fit accommodating his physique, emphasizing the man's waistline to keep his look more balanced. He was typically seen to be wearing looser shirts, with wide sleeves/aligned with cuffs at the end. His pants being on the slightly loose end, but yet not baggy. Or even seen to be wearing jeans with leather belts. He certainly had the looks to be a Pirate. His hands were somewhat stiff however they held onto a bit of tender graze. He could perhaps be perceived as un-approachable or even unfriendly, but his emotions held the truth of his character. He was a much kinder man than what his looks made it out to be.
How does your character act on and off duty?
On Duty; 'Ujarak Katsumi was a hardworking man, consistently staying focused while also being open-minded to his co-workers around. He held onto a little less emotion driven upon him seen upon his off-duties, but yet he kept himself a somewhat open-book. Obviously watching his boundaries and what he wasn't comfortable with. He added onto that grim look while working, which may be a little issue! However hopefully it doesn't drive his patients away! Furthermore, he keeps himself diligent and professional in a work-setting. Making sure to do his job efficiently.'
Off Duty; 'While off duty Ujarak Katsumi opens up a bit more, letting himself free and relaxed upon the non-working conditions. He looked somewhat more carefree and younger, socializing with others or simply just hanging around Karakura in general. He typically could be seen conversing about general things going on in Karakura or even his cooking skills. He developed an interest in culinary when he was in High-school and held onto it until adulthood, even despite his strict looking demeanor he was a kind man at heart; and often likes creating different dishes for his friends or family to try out and basks in the glory of knowing the skill.'
Does your character function better on their own or with others?
In general, Katsumi likes to work alone as he gets things done more efficiently that way. The man himself likes to stay focused and driven upon his work in the workspace and is not down to mess around when it came to doing something. Furthermore, he'll speak up if he needs help with something. Once out of a session, or whatever he's doing he'll kindly converse with the rest of his Co-Workers. And if it came down to it, he'll work with others if needed to. Or if someone asks to join him; It's nice to keep those opportunities there to learn more about the people you're working with or even figure out how to do something in a new light
What plans does your character have for the future?
Katsumi would like to continue on with his career of Psychiatry, and someday make it higher in the ranks within the hospital. He too wishes to get a stable payment for his children, and flourish as a person. Taking this as a way to move on from his past relationship and figure out something else with his life. Taking this job as he had previously, he'll be able to ensure his children his sister Yoriko and those he cares about are safe.
