Trivia
What is your motivation for becoming a Professor?:
My motivation for becoming a professor (again) is the fact that I love to teach on the server. I have been part of SRP since 2017, and have always wanted to be a part of something more. OOC’ly, I have an extremely strong passion for Law, and I wish to study it. IC’ly, my character has been a Cadet for the KPD and wishes to fulfill his dreams of knowing and teaching his profession.
Do you have any experience in Roleplaying?:
Yes, I have roleplayed on srp for 3 and a half years, and have been;
- Office Secretary
- News Reporter
- Police Officer
- College Professor
- Teacher
Classroom logs are important as they keep management in a classroom, from keeping history from previous classes, for example in a classroom log book you would write down the names of misbehaved students. These logbooks will then be shown or shared with the other teachers. Classroom logbooks are also here to show that the teacher is doing the responsibilities they need to do.
As a Professor, what are the strict rules when being in a class?:
Rule 1: All students must not talk out of turn to the professor or any other student in the classroom
Rule 2: All students must remain in their seat, whilst the class is in session
Rule 3: No food or drink should be consumed during the lesson
Rule 4: All phones must be kept in your pockets at all times and switched off
Rule 5: Always complete all homework and assignments given
Rule 2: All students must remain in their seat, whilst the class is in session
Rule 3: No food or drink should be consumed during the lesson
Rule 4: All phones must be kept in your pockets at all times and switched off
Rule 5: Always complete all homework and assignments given
Summarize your previous RP experience's (both in general and on SchoolRP):
As stated in one of the previous questions, I have been part of SRP since 2107. I have been a college professor as well as a high school teacher (IC’ly). So I understand the rules and the responsibility of both roles. I also understand how hard it may be during classes. However, I am willing to take those chances.

College-Professor Knowledge
Please show your knowledge of College-Professors. What are the tasks a College-Professor has to complete? What is a College-Professor's salary?
In game, professors are provided in order to teach and benefit the education and knowledge of a student in the school. This is also the same Out-of-game. Without teachers and/or professors, no one would learn and no one would benefit from it. Professors receive a salary of 275k yen if they complete 10 classes within that month. If they manage an extra five within that month, it's an additional 50k yen on their paycheck.

Character Knowledge
What does he/she look like?
Jay S. Cortez Fawcett, would seem quite muscular and fit. He owns a constant serious expression which is only uplifted when the man laughs. The male stood at 6'5, and would appear to have Blonde hair and fairly tanned skin. Jay wore a grey vest with a grey undershirt. He wore a black tie with black pants and shoes, and sometimes wore the College Varsity Jacket to show his support for the Spartans.
What makes him/her unique and different?
The thing that makes Jay Fawcett unique and different is that when engaging with the students, he gives them a chance to speak their mind, though he may seem stubborn and kinda scary to most students, he does care about them like they were his own son or daughters. Deep down his personality would be very calm and collected and just an all-around chill guy, to hang out with.
What is his/her outlook on Students?
He has a positive outlook on many things and always tries to find the best in others. From a young age, he has always believed that everyone deserves equal opportunities and tries his best to give that to everyone that he can. He tries to remain kind and calm at all times and is always more than willing to help someone in need.
What about the other professors? | What is his/her personality like?
He has always cared for people, he is very polite and very quiet at times he can get frustrated but that is rare for him. He always has a smile on his face and always talks about the bright side of things even when things are going wrong. Due to him having a son and many younger brothers and sisters, he knows how troubling young people can be, giving him a tremendous amount of patience when it comes to young, hormone raging teenagers.
On the job Jay is kind and compassionate and able to keep his mind focused, he focuses on maintaining good bedside matter and guiding students in a calm and soothing way. He tends to keep himself very serious on the job so he can focus well on the matters. He gained his seriousness from his time in the force and believes it will support his work on the teaching side of things, he trusts his co-workers and always gives them updates when necessary; maintaining good teamwork skills and the ability to speak clearly and in an organised way when under pressure.
Off the job Jay likes to work out and keep himself healthy and fit, Jay is still quite kind and reserved and will not often act out of line. He is very friendly and sociable when off shift and loves to interact and get to know people to make spaces a more positive space to socialise and be around, he enjoys being around people and supporting them; he still always looks out for people who may be in need even when off shift.
What is his/her plan for the future?
Jay’s plan for the future is to become a great Law enforcement Trainer. As a child, Jay was not brought up well by his blood related siblings, he had a hard childhood however he got through the hard times and he wants to make the best life he can and becoming a Law Professor is his dream and it would be a highlight of his amazing life.

Scenarios
You find a group of sport-team members screaming and shouting in the halls, What do you do?
If it was class time, I would tell them to all get to class, before I give them a warning. If they do not leave, I would call the Dean or Vice dean if he or she is available. If however, they are not, I would try to handle the situation on my own.
First, I would remind them that they are speaking to a Professor and that there will be consequences if they continue yelling, disturbing the other classes.
Then, I would send them to detention for disrespecting school staff, disrupting lessons, and loitering around the hallways.
If however, the students still do not listen, I would get a higher-up to deal with them.
A College-Student is disturbing the class and won’t listen to a word you’re saying, What do you do?
If a college-student was to disturb the class, after I had told them to be quiet, I would first tell them that if they do not be quiet or sit down, I will send them to detention and have them do the work during their own time - as it would be my own time that they are wasting.
If they continue to muck around, I would call the Dean or the Vice-Dean to have them talk to the misbehaving student/s.
Provide at least 5 detailed /me's of your character inside a classroom:
- /me he’d walk towards the door, without disturbing the class. He would then proceed to quietly open the door to see who it is before stepping outside to talk.
- /me he would turn away from his podium and face towards the white board behind him . He would carefully write his name, the date, and the class period he was hosting. He would proceed to lower his hand away from what he just wrote, to write a lesson target for his students to complete by the end of the lesson.
- /me would tell the class to open up their textbooks to a new page and begin copying any notes into their book, waiting for any questions to be asked.
- /me he would calmly greet the students as he stood in front of the door with his palms cupped together
- /me he'd collect each paper from the students, and neatly place them on his desk ready for marking.
Backstory
Jay came from Australia with a fairly average life; moving through school, traveling the world- ah wait. Jay traveled a lot with his parents, they loved taking him places and letting him explore the world with a new location every year. The little boy with ADHD [and a case of asthma] absolutely loved it. He saw multiple different countries and studied their cultures and backgrounds, stepping foot first hand in historic monuments and exploring new and interesting climates for himself, a way to let off the stress of his school life where he was picked on. Jay had big dreams, experiencing life in Japan at age 14 he believed he could achieve something; a Japanese investigator who would protect the entirety of Japan. Well, he’s part of the way there.
Jay trudged his way through school, getting quite average grades until he realized his unique interest in policing and brought back his old dream of being an investigator; this led to him joining a policing academy and studying multiple degrees in the arts of investigating and policing. He was encouraged to also pick up multiple medical courses and degrees, so he would also follow that though as a backup. Jay eventually would move to Karakura, Japan. One day, Jay got a call from an unknown number, when he answered it, he received terrible news... The unknown person spoke in a gentle but deep voice, and sounded upset by the news. After about 5 minutes of pure silence, the unknown person spoke “Hello, is this Jay Cooper?”
Jay knew something was wrong from that moment... “Yes, speaking...?”
“I’m very sorry... Your parents have passed away due to a house fire. We did everything we could but there was no saving them...” Jay was unsure how to react or what to say, so he hung up, balling his eyes out.
Jay was then put into a nearby orphanage, where he was adopted by 2 families... “Fawcett'' and “Cortez”. Iris Cortez’s parents adopted Jay to be iris’ big brother, so he would be able to take care of her whilst they were in Korea. Jay grew up by iris’ side, day-by-day, protecting her from any harm that came her way.
The Fawcett family adopted Jay when he was 16, marking him the eldest of the 6 children they already had. Over the years, Jay became very close with one of his nieces, Taka. They helped each other whenever they needed it. Jay, Taka and Iris all had a good bond, and it was very clear. Although Taka and Jay weren’t biologically related, he always felt as if they were.
Eventually, jay organised a funeral for his loving parents, before returning back to Karakura, where he’d worked as a front-desk worker in the Karakura high school for a few months until being picked up into the KPD [Karakura police department] and from there, he’d be training - hoping to reach that big childhood dream he once had. Jay was let off from the KPD, decided to use his knowledge about Science and become a College Professor. After a while, Jay was let go due to his inability to teach every day because of his family issues.
Eventually, Jay got all his mental health and family problems under control and decided to apply to become a High School History teacher, at the local high school, where he was accepted. One day, a very sad event happened for Jay, which caused him to go back to his old drinking habits. - His husband, Aksel, moved away and decided to divorce Jay, as he believed it would be better for them both. Due to the event, Jay became very anxious around other people and felt very unwell when he was crowded.
One day, Jay's daughter, Yui, took Jay to the Karakura Hospital, where he met a wonderful Psychiatrist, "Nana" Saiky. After hearing about how Jay felt and what his childhood was like, Mrs Saiky officially diagnosed Jay with Social Anxiety and Depression. Jay was put onto medication to help with his Social Anxiety, so that he wouldn't have any episodes, especially while teaching a class full of high school students.
Jay adopted a young boy, Juan Fawcett. He made sure to comfort him, feed him and make sure he had somewhere to sleep. As well as getting him new clothes. Juan attended the local high school at Karakura, getting perfect grades and moving onto College. Juan became a Club Leader of the Game Club, which allows anyone to join from ages 16-20. Juan and Jay have a special bond, and Jay will always be there for his son whenever he needs it.
Jay became the Overseer of Juan’s club, allowing him to come to the events or meetings that take place. He also announces when they are holding any interviews with the students of Karakura.
After a while, Jay met a lovely, beautiful, puppy on the streets, all alone. He checked to see if the pup had a collar, and it turns out, the pup was homeless. Jay decided to take the pup home with him to give him a bath, something to eat and water. As well as somewhere warm to sleep for a night. The next morning, he let the male pup out, as it wasn't his dog. Whenever the pup saw Jay, he would follow him around, protecting him, as he could sense his Anxiety and depression, as well as his ADHD. It took a while for Jay to notice that the pup had been trained very well in the past, to protect his owners or people in danger. He decided to look further into if he had an owner... Going online and looking for any lost puppy ads... Going through Newspapers... Going around town asking people if they had lost him... In the end, there was nothing to be found. So, he adopted him, and named him 'Copper'. Copper was a Bloodhound x Coonhound, who had short hair. He is a 6 year old pup, and loves to aid people as well as meet other dogs. Copper seemed to be rather large for a 6 year old, but he always did his absolute best to assist Jay with whatever he needed.
Jay got Copper into more training so that his training was up-to-date. Overtime, Copper became more like a service dog for Jay. He would lay at his feet whenever he stood still, he waited to cross the road with Jay. He stayed quiet whenever he taught a class, and he comforted him whenever something was wrong.
So, Jay got Copper officially registered as a Service Dog, under Jay's name.
Jay wanted to complete his Law enforcement journey and have other students know more about the Laws of Karakura, as well as the history of it. So he went back down to the community College and reapplied to become a college professor, and teach ‘Law’.
