I see your point its better for server performanceYou get a message before you’re about to get kicked warning you that you’ve been afk for too long and it gives you ample time to stop, move around, and then go back to typing. The whole reason this was added was to improve server performance & there is a countdown provided when you’re about to be kicked that gives you plenty of time to move or type a quick “.”
I don’t think it’s worth removing when it’s benefitting the server AND you’re getting plenty of warnings before you actually get kicked
Personally like I said in the suggestion typing in chat doesn't always work, even if you stand up the AFK tag doesn't go away fast enough. This doesn't exactly stop the problem of players getting kicked when their tabbed out waiting for people to action.
but I think yonio's comment is a better middle ground! :D+1
I think a foolproof way to prevent players from using macros to loop the anti-afk process is to send out a message like this every 10 or so minutes of inactivity
That way, people won't even have to tab out of chat to avoid getting kicked altogether
