What is your Minecraft Username?:
My in-game name is Ahimotu.
Past warns/kicks/bans?:
I have been banned I believe five times in my four years journey: the first ban was in 2018 (roleplay related issues), I was banned for FailRP / AvoidRP. My second ban was always around that time in early 2018, I was banned for metagame (5 hours ban I remember because it was a minor metagame). My third ban was in mid-late 2018 or early 2019, and it was for RDM. My fourth ban was later in 2019, it was for Lying to a Player in LOOC. The fifth ban, quite unfortunately, is recent almost half a year (2021), it was for reaching four warnings.

TRIVIA QUESTIONS
What is student council and what do they do?:
A student council is usually a group of intellectual students, guided by adults, who want to take the responsibility of leadership, meeting up and talking together to make choices that will benefit the school students and the whole school environment in general, or host activities and school events for the students’ entertainment. The student council, focusing on improving a student’s experience at school may take fellow students' ideas and critique into consideration, and can share these thoughts with a teacher or the SLT. The student council is usually formed by a president and occasionally a vice president, who is usually democratically voted by the students themselves to ensure complete agreement among everyone. The label of student councillor may also depend on how well they are carrying out their school semesters, meaning they might need to have good grades and excellent conduct, to show they need to have a certain level of responsibility and dedication into the title they have been granted. The council might also walk around the school to ensure the school policy is followed and respected by every student.
What motivated you to apply for council? (e.g. Interests, friends, ect.):
What motivated me the most to apply for this role is the responsibility you need to take when being one, having to deal with a lot of situations and the interactions you could have with everyone. I believe most roles get boring after a while because you don’t really have a task to do, something that excites you and makes you enjoy what you’re doing but I feel different about this specific role. I’ve been a councillor in the past, however, I felt like the experience I’ve had wasn’t long enough, which is also the reason I’m applying again, this time on the college side.
Are you aware that you’ll be having to use your creativity and team work ethic within the student council? (e.g. Coming up and helping with events):
I’m aware I will have to do part of the job, which I’m gladly helping with if accepted. I have past experiences as well, being a councillor in the past taught me how to do it properly, but I hope to make even more experiences and help with more events in the future. As I mentioned, I have had my work ethic improve in the old council and I want it to get even better with new people and hopefully work all together as one, giving out the best ideas and putting them together so we can all give the school something to enjoy once in a while.
Can you list the roles in council along with others roles that might be important to council?:
The main roles within the council organisations are two: the president and vice president. Both of them are self explanatory: the president is whoever leads the student council and might usually have the final say in decisions. The vice president is simply the substitute of the president, usually taking their place if absent for any reason. There are even more roles though, that are assigned to regular councillors: treasurer, secretary, historian, parliamentarian, etc. These however may change depending on the school, since the environment might suggest other duties more than others. The other roles that are important for the council functioning are the adults: SLT, teachers, school staff. They usually guide or assist the councillors in any task they were given.
SCENARIOS
You’re patrolling the school and you walk by two girls verbally harassing each other, but they didn't pay mind to you. What do you think is the correct way to go about this?
The best way would continue to try to get their attention, but assuming they won’t really stop and ignore me, I would call another councillor and if not available a teacher/professor/school staff, who might always help defuse the situation. Even after all the help and school authorities involved, if they don’t stop I would ask the teachers/professors/school staff if I’m allowed to try to contact any available SLT to come down and deal with the situation, if not I’d let them handle it and assist the best way I can.
A student refuses to take their mask off after you’ve brought up detention and they’ve run away! What do you do?
I would contact any fellow councillor first, telling them there’s a student roaming around with a mask, providing the best description I can of the individual. After that, if caught again, I would give the student the last chance to take the mask off, or they would actually get detention. If they once again escape, I would contact a school authority, telling them about the situation and hopefully being able to punish the student accordingly.
There seems to be a councillor abusing their powers! They’re being exceptionally mean to a student, causing the student to be defensive or scared. How would you step in?
If I’m certain the councillor is misusing the authority they were given, I would probably try to defuse the situation the best I could, offering the best solution to the problem in the fairest way to solve it. However, happenings like these aren’t supposed to happen by someone who is expected to be mature and worthy to hold that position, so knowing that the councillor abused their powers, I would report the councillor to the leads (president or vice president), explaining the situation and how the councillor was abusing their power.
You seemed to miss a few pieces of information during a meeting, how would you go about getting that information?
I would apologise for not being able to remember and note down that specific information, asking if it’s possible to repeat what was said and hopefully get the information by another councillor who might hopefully have it or the presidents.
A teacher/receptionist has told you or done something that goes against what you were trained by your higher ups. How would you react to this?
I would have to listen to the teacher/receptionist as they’re in an even higher position than my presidents, however, I would as well be curious about it and ask the presidents if they maybe accidentally misinformed me or if there has been a change in the policy, obviously being respectful about it and not trying to offend them. I would do that because I want to make sure I know what I’m doing and won’t make a mistake in the future when it comes to those kinds of situations.
Please provide a detailed event that a club or council can use as a future event to showcase your creativity! (Must be 300 words or more):
Treasure Run!
This Treasure Run event wouldn’t be the same as what you might think of a normal individual treasure hunt on who figures out all the clues first and finds the treasure wins. The participating students would be split into four even teams, following a quite easy task, but the game itself will take longer and the riddles aren’t going to be easy to find, the objective is to find the right combination of a crate that only one team can win. The council will leave sticky notes around the school containing a riddle and then a number below, which would be part to make an exact combination to unlock the crate whose location is known to everyone, preferably at the starting point of the event. The teams will be on their own, but all the members within a team must cooperate and split to find the next hint as they could be quite confusing so two or more places around the school have to be checked (to make it harder, but also encourage coordination). Each team has different hints, meaning the location of the teams’ sticky notes will be different than the others, the only common thing that all share are the numbers found on the sticky notes, and to avoid teams mixing up their sticky notes with another team’s, the colour of the note could match the ones of their team colours so they know which one is theirs and which one isn’t. The numbers will be four for each team and once all of the numbers are gathered the first team that arrives needs to start combining the numbers together, hoping their assumed combination matches the one assigned to the crate’s lock, which only the event managers will know. However, if other teams arrive they all have one attempt to open it (depending on what team arrived first, second, third, fourth), and will all have one chance to guess the combination, if one fails then the next team has a chance and so on. This will continue until the crate clicks open! The reward could be special limited items or an equal amount of money for all the members of the winning team.
IN-CHARACTER PERSPECTIVE QUESTIONS
Character Name:
Asami Hasegawa
Character Gender:
Female
Character Age:
19
Character phone-number:
(030)-804-2310
Brief summary of how they act/ your character’s personality:
Asami Hasegawa is quite the introverted type, appearing cold and detached from people she barely knows or sees. She’s always seen around with a disinterested expression and spoke in a tired, lame medium tone of voice most of the time and clearly gave off the quite unapproachable aura. Although not many notice, she’s mysterious and usually keeps to herself instead of hanging out with people she barely knows, unless she is really bored. Asami is rarely seen smiling, but when she’s around people she’s close to, she opens up and shows a bubbly personality which is quite the opposite of the first impression she gives when first met. Anyone will figure out they’re important to her when she seems happy and cheerful around them. Complimenting the disinterested look, the female wouldn’t care for any verbal offence towards her, anyone coming at her with worthless insults wouldn’t affect her unless personal sensitive topics are brought up which would make her uncontrollably mad and upset.
Character appearance/attire (Please provide a picture):
Asami Hasegawa is a five feet and three inches (5’3”) young woman owning a toned body and pear-shaped figure but seemed to be underweight (100lbs). Her hair was bleached to a slightly more dark brown tone that was originally a completely black colour, accompanied by a red streak going down her bangs. Her grey contact lenses covered her liquorice coloured eyes, which were exalted by a cat eyeliner makeup that gave her the resemblance of a cat. The female would usually be seen wearing bombers and a pair of jeans, which might either be ripped or shorts. A chain would usually be attached to the belt of her jeans giving her a badass vibe.
What separates you from other applicants seeking your position?:
I don’t really put myself above anyone seeking this position, however, I can offer a lot to the council: I believe I can deal with situations seriously and calmly, I can work with a group, and I can provide some really good ideas for school activities. I always try to be nice and cool with everyone even when it’s people beefing, I’m the kind of person to try to stop them and actually try to make them friends again, mostly to the people I work with as I believe it’s important to have a good friendship with everyone who is working on the same team as you. I’m quite the peacemaker, basically. My ideas might be quite interesting if well thought out, and I want to be able to provide as much as I can and invest in this position because it can improve both me, as a person, and students in general who might enjoy the ideas I propose.
Why do you want this position?:
Being a councillor must be very fun as you’re going to have a whole team to do something good for the school, a very huge responsibility which I really want to take. I want to show my worth and want to improve myself and be more mature throughout this experience if I’m accepted. I need to do something with my life, something that can be stressful at times but enjoyable, and joining the council seems like the perfect challenge for me, a good way to socialise more and meet new people. However that isn’t all, I’ve seen a lot of bullying go unnoticed and I wish to change that by looking out most of the time for anyone causing trouble to someone else. I want to make sure everyone is in a safe environment, respects and helps each other.
What interests you the most about student council?:
What interests me is the teamwork, the concept of the student council and the socialisation opportunities I have with students. I'm very introverted and I usually have nothing to do, and I kind of wanted that to change. It’s mostly about the task the council has: the event hosting, ensuring everyone is safe, it’s not easy but I think at the end of the day, you’re really satisfied with what you were able to bring to many students. Another reason is the fact you get to use your creativity, I can finally think about how I can improve something and actually have a chance for it to be carried out.
What could you contribute to make the school a safe and fun environment?:
Speaking of safety, I think my availability allows me to roam around the school and help any student that needs help and also make sure to stop people from doing dangerous activities in school. I’d also try to make it fun though, with my ideas that will hopefully be taken into consideration, even small events that would make students have a moment of excitement and fun. Studying is important, but so is having fun as nobody likes studying feeling unmotivated.
