What's your suggestion?:
Allow all faculty to access and view the school camera security system, as opposed to exclusively caretakers.

How will this benefit the server and community?:
Prevents awkward RP situations where a student accusation can only be verified by reviewing camera footage when there is no caretaker online.

I'd say this is one of the Caretaker's main jobs and it'd be pretty unfortunate to take this away from them. Maybe extending this role to HDs and SLT (p sure SLT are already included, but..) is reasonable but I think giving it to all faculty is too much

I do understand how awkward it is when it happens but like what everyone said, for every faculty to use the CCTVs is too much. The most we could do in the case scenario when there's no caretakers is to dm our HDs or ask on the server what we'd usually do and just follow our instincts while also being safe with what we do as School Faculty. Usually the most we could do is make students hug it out as a punishment. Not to Mention on the student POV it's also going to make them more paranoid whenever they do certain actions, which as much as we're suppose to make sure student don't do anything dumb during school hours, I'd rather do something while on my school faculty character, then standing at the receptionist desk for a whole hour and a half.

Haven't you heard? Anyone who isn't a caretaker that enters the boiler room never returns. You wouldn't want to go in there, trust me. So many toxic chemicals, supplies, and broken stuff that you have to step over. Not to mention how DARK it is in there. Stay OUT, I warned you.

In all seriousness though, when there are no Caretakers online, you'll just have to make do with what you have. Just like when there are no chefs (no lunch), no librarians (no checking out books), or no teachers/professors (no classes). It's hard, but it's what makes the school united. Everyone can do their part to make the school run smoothly.

There's no need really, if a caretaker is not online, just don't issue a punishment- or just go another way of getting proof if you really want like checking knuckles etc. The only people that should be doing the checking of CCTV should be caretakers, we shouldn't take away more from their job. They are essentially the security for the school.
