I’ve recently returned from a long break due to mental health issues and have become a daily player once more. I come on at least once a day - if not more - and hang out for several hours before heading off to head to bed or hang out with a friend when asked. I’m working on hopping back into roleplay by looking for jobs and sports teams to join. I even enjoyed some family roleplay just the other day!

What is your motivation for applying?:
I would love the chance to work in the government faction and try out new styles of roleplay associated with it! It was a hard decision to choose between applying for governor and lawyer, but in the end I figured I would be best suited for lawyer. I wish to dive back into the world of SRP by finding new jobs and such to try new forms of roleplay and different types of work than I have done previously. The government faction seems like a wonderful faction to work for, therefore I wish to become a judge!

What are your goals for being in Government Faction?:
My goals for being in the government faction include learning more about Karakura and its inhabitants as well as forming new styles of roleplay and enjoying time with other faction members. I wish to know more about what’s going on in Karakura and even help out the residents in whatever way I can.
In your own words, describe the different roles of the Government Faction:
Mayor:
The role of the mayor is the hardest one of all the government factions. To be the mayor, you must be elected by the people during the voting season, running a campaign beforehand to allow the people to make an educated guess based on your experience, values, and beliefs. Their job is to oversee all of the city roles and keep the city working to the best of its ability. They must make major decisions in regards to Karakura and even make speeches in times when they’re necessary.
Deputy-Mayor:
The role of the deputy mayor is to be anything and everything the mayor needs. They are the mayor’s main assistant and are there to assist with all manners of things and take over if the mayor is absent or missing.
Governor:
The role of a governor is to watch over the citizens of Karakura and make the best decisions to help the mayor. Their duties range from shop inspections to front desk work, with so much more in between. They are in charge of a lot of the heavy lifting and work hard to help the mayors in whatever way they’re able. You’ll often see them around town, checking to make sure the city is a well-oiled machine.
Lawyer:
The role of a lawyer has many duties, including helping people who are arrested or those who they hurt by defending one of the parties during their trial. The other duties of a lawyer range from issuing warrants to officiating marriages. Their main focus, however, is helping their clients.
Judge:
The role of a judge is never easy. When there is a trial, you’ll be the one to make the final decision based on what information you’re given throughout. As a judge, that is your main task, however there are others that you must fulfill in order to get that monthly paycheck. They range from officiating marriages to approving adoption paperwork.

What makes you a good candidate for this job?
As a child, I was abused by my mother in every manner you could think of because I reminded her of my father who she never told had a child. No one ever believed me when I told them the truth of what was going on, no one ever wanted to. Finally at the age of sixteen, I was free from her when tragedy struck. She was killed in a car accident, causing me to have to move from Avignon, France all the way to Karakura, where my birth father lived. I’d never met him nor heard stories. My mother refused to even speak his name. After all of the trouble I’d had living with my mother, it was so nice to finally have found a place where I was safe and loved.
I believe I am a good candidate for this job because I’ve made it my life's goal to help those in need do what is necessary to do so. I’ve lived in Karakura for nine years now and not a day goes by that I don’t strive to be the best person I can. I wish to be a judge to have a say in the affairs of the government and even help decide the fates of people who have been accused, to be the person who listens to them when they say they didn’t do it and aren’t lying. I know being a lawyer may be what you believe I belong in, however, I went to school specifically to become a judge and make a difference in the city that helped me feel safe and whole again.
