-1 Thank you for your opinion but removing people's rights arent the way. You wouldnt get your tongue cut if you abused your free speech rights, you'd instead get punished with fine/jail.

Simply disallow making places solely for the purpose of trap house & mazes, if caught, simply let staff warn the person & clear their apartment (without breaking chests)
An example: Police are raiding Masuyo Tachitsu's house, but he's such a gangrper that his house is entirely a maze! Police simply call a staff member, Masuyo Tachitsu gets warned and their place gets cleared.

First the balconies now the inside of the apartments lol, ironic.
Thank you for your opinion.

If this was added it would destroy gangrp
Thank you for your opinion

(its already not allowed)

Thank you for your opinion.

+1 The Idea Is well Explained as this will reduce substantial amount of trolls who misplay City RP Style.

- 1 I believe if people place traps or try to asses apartment into gang rp style, they should be able to do it via making Criminal RP applications. However, in this instance, it would involve too much OOC activity into ICLY and I rl doubt meta game in this case would be avoided. Both staff and OGs to this day struggle to evidence certain amount of meta games as situation out scale complexity.

Neutral How about making a catalogue list for the building? In this catalogue builders and city development team would create a precise shortlist of what apartments can include, what they should not, and what they may build but should take according responsibility. For instance, same Gang RP APT style with traps - people may create complex apartment structure but if KPD finds it they will be charged 2 million yen for misuse of governmentally owned space that they take into rent, posing potential harm with it to community.

If a user gets warned too many times about their housing (2 or 3) they should lose the ability to own a property that isn't a dorm, and then it can become an appealable thing. Also, if police find illegal weaponry in a property 3 or more times, I feel as though there'd be reason to request government to take away that person's property usage.

+1 ONLY if there is a set apartment block with apartment interiors you CANNOT change as government-provided housing. (I don't know if there is one already, if there is then specify this is the only housing they can live in.)

Seeing as-to keep up with the trend of realism-if you blacklist players from purchasing housing, they will most likely move into their friends' houses and continue with the same acts of storing weapons, creating gang space, etc etc. People are stubborn.

As well as the Karakura Government dumped millions into the construction of all the new housing to solve the homeless problem. If you blacklist players from buying housing completely, the city gains a homeless problem yet again. And no city wants people living on the street.

Just as my headcanon for not building on balconies, building in this government-provided housing can just be "against the law" if you need an IC reason to explain it.

It'd be kind of annoying having to live in other people's apartments and not have your own. Maybe to an extent- as removing a specific character from owning an apartment, but removing the user altogether would be annoying for the person if they were to quit gangrp and still have to deal with not owning an apt.

Thank you for your opinion, and I would almost agree. The issue with this suggestion is the unreasonably hard counter to implement. This is a type of restriction that simply cannot be implemented. And criminal storage isn't the only issue with it, there are also against rules shops, near empty but still owned apartments that have no value, and other things. Not all of these can simply be wiped for the benefit of roleplay, let alone a few distinct factions. In the past, I would say this is a major issue and should be solved but now we have so many spare/open apartments it almost doesn't matter.

No but fr houses are meant to be lived in not be turned into a torture, storage room only for gang/criminal reasons. Houses/Apartments should be used for actually living in them for family rps- just simply living there. Storing weapons and other things I don't have a problem with. A rule should be implemented stating something like this from the suggestion to keep housing/apartments balanced from gangrp/criminal use only. I also believe Housing/Apartments should be used as a SAFE ZONE after all its your property and if you own it, it should be considered as a safe zone just like plaza, KPD, EMS, and Shrine is. This won't take away gangrp/criminal activity from the apartments/houses the safe zone will only be considered INSIDE one's property. Meaning permissions can't be used inside the persons property. If housing and apartments were considered as safe zones this should help with monitoring these areas because it'd restrict players from gangrping/criminalrping inside the properties. Unless it's an event approved by staff or anything else under any circumstances. I also want to say if this did happen it'd help the gangrp community come up with more creative ways to implement their tactics when it comes to using permissions on others. Turning a house/apartment into an obstacle course/maze for KPD to get through is actually quite unfair and its unrealistic. It's also a disadvantage when it comes to this because one the person/gang who made this maze in their apartment has the advantage to get out where as KPD doesn't know the way out, and two it's also why I'd say this is failrp too. I mean come on honestly, in the real world you don't see houses and apartments be turned into mazes for the police to go through. Like seriously 99.99% of houses and apartments are literally to be lived in with family or friends. (And if you do have a torture/maze house irl ur weird and need help)

I don't have an opinion on this. I'd rather provide a textbook definition of the term residence:

"A residence is a physical dwelling where individuals or families live. It serves as a primary or secondary living space and can take various forms, including houses, apartments, penthouses, townhouses, condominiums, or other types of housing units. A residence typically includes essential living areas such as bedrooms, bathrooms, a kitchen, and living spaces, and may also have outdoor areas like a yard, balcony, or terrace. The term "residence" encompasses both the structure itself and its use as a place for habitation, regardless of ownership or rental status."

I want to say +1, but the reality of crime IRL is you get houses that are supposed to look normal but have little nooks and crannies that give you what MOST gangrp housing looks like. (Realistic on the outside with a few hidden features like hidden compartments, rooms, chests etc.

I used to even have a room for storing and displaying chopped limbs which was fun.

I will say +1 as long as it only gets implemented to prevent UNREALISTIC apartments and prevents people from abusing the mechanic. ie, you're not gonna have 5 doors at your entrance for instance to prevent the KPD from coming in, that would be abusive for example.

I agree with the part about the trap houses. Houses and apartments should have to be realistic and built properly in order to keep things fair and realistic within RP. However, if someone wishes to store their weapons within a house/apartment I think they should be entitled to do so if its okay with the owner of the property. If criminals can't store their weapons in a property then where are they expected to store them, I'm curious to hear the idea if you do have one in mind.
