Backstory:
Bento was only three when his mother had a heart attack and passed on. His father was so broken by this, he left Bento with Akeno's father in Tokyo. He swore he would never come back and that he would find another way to live. Bento never really asked about his parents. When Bento was 5 years old, he was sent to school. Takuzo would only pay to send him to a cheap local school that only had about 200 pupils, as he had other things to pay for. Though that Christmas he bought Bento a pug to keep him company. At the time Bento didn't how long he had left until Takuzo died. But he didn't really think about it either. Takuzo knew it was only a few years until his time came, which is why he bought a pug.
4 years on from then, Takuzo died of old age. Luckily for him, the local Orphanage payed for the school fee, but not the house. Bento was left alone with just Tux. He made a hut out of old materials he found outback of a restaurant.
On December the 12th 2010, Bento took one of the longest walks he had ever done. He stopped at an old man's small art hut. He looked at them. The man showed him what and how he had done it. Bento noticed that a lot of people were stopping at this hut. So he decided he would do the same.
Eventually Bento got enough money to open a shop, so he did. He had made a lot of salary.
3 years later he had enough money to finally afford to move to Shinotaketatsu as he always wanted to. He moved into a cheap house and went to a local school.
To this day, Bento still goes to the school, and draws pictures for money. He is now a grade 7 student.
