Describe your activity on the server: I am online quite often, especially now since it is lockdown here, leaving me more time to get on SRP and roleplay. I am a flexible person, so if need be, I can get on. The majority of the time I wake up at around 8 AM, and go to sleep around 10 PM. However, I’m obviously not on 24/7 through this time. I’m on from around 12 as my family likes to go on walks every day. I play SRP frankly too much. I have over 1,000 hours, and I can’t remember what hundred comes after it.
Do you have any previous bans?: Yes, I have been banned before, however I have definitely learnt from my mistakes and am trying my best to not repeat them again. They are listed below in the bans subtitle.

What is your motivation for becoming a teacher?: My main motivation is to be able to share my love of history. I have been a history enthusiast for the longest time, and have learnt more about our own history as well as others each day. I would like to share this knowledge and passion with my students, whilst also teaching them about the history of things they are particularly interested in, including their own interests. I would like the opportunity to roleplay in a different way, through teaching per say, widening my vision and expanding my roleplaying abilities.
What are the teacher class logs and why are they important?: Class logs are vital for maintaining a system and structure within the teaching department. Teachers can log the hours/classes that they have taught with a brief description of what was taught that lesson, along with any noteworthy students/behaviours. The higher ups in the school faculty can keep track of these as well, helping them to ensure classes are being taught and are of an acceptable standard, as well as making sure teachers are completing the bare minimum of the required classes (15) before giving them their paycheck.
You want to start a school field trip; how do you do that?: If I wanted to host a field trip, I would first brainstorm some ideas of what I could do, for example as a History teacher I could take the class to the shrine temple to teach them about some of Karakura’s shrine history. I would explain my intentions of the trip to one of the higher ups, e.g the dean or vice principal, through a pre-made format.

To name some: CollegeRP, High school RP, and some forms of GangRP in the earlier parts of my roleplay experience, however I do not engage in that now.

- HD: Head of Department: is the role model for all teachers, they will create a syllabus for other teachers to follow during their lessons.
- QT: Qualified Teacher: you achieve this role after a while of being a NQT. You are able to run your own classes and have the knowledge and confidence of a qualified teacher.
- NQT: Newly Qualified Teacher: you have just gotten the job of a teacher, perhaps you haven’t had previous teaching experience. Other teachers which are of a higher rank than you, will assist and overlook your classes, in order to give you feedback and inspect your teaching.

Present to us your knowledge about Teachers in-game and out-of-game, what purpose do teachers serve. What salary do they get? Include a paragraph about the way teachers teach, what they do in their spare time in general.
Teachers are vital to our community. They pass on the knowledge and passion they have for their subjects onto the students, preparing them for the future and helping them to find their own interests. Teachers will follow the syllabus set by the Head of Department at Karakura High, to ensure students are being taught topics which are corresponding to the real world subjects. Teachers are expected to plan their classes, prepare notes and presentations if necessary, along with class quizzes and tests to consolidate learning. Teachers at Karakura High get paid 450,000 yen for completing 15 classes, which is the minimum. For every 10 extra classes taught, teachers can get paid an extra 50,000 yen, bringing their pay up to 500,000 yen. Out of game they are vital as they are the ones who help consolidate the learning of younger people. They are the ones who are responsible for the new generation.
Why are teachers important to a SchoolRP server?: The whole point of a roleplaying server such as SchoolRP, is to make the experience as realistic for the players as possible. In the real world, teachers are the passers of knowledge through education, so it is only fair and justifiable to have teachers on SRP to teach the students. Teachers hosting classes also gives the students something to do on the server, other than hanging out with their friends.

Benjamin would be a bisexual male, originally from Britain. He would be dressed in a smart yet casual manner, you would mostly find him wearing a sweater or a blazer over his clothes. He would be a caring, soft male, someone who is pleasant and easy to talk to. Ben would be someone that kids could bring their problems to and he will help them in the best way possible, putting him in their shoes, trying to identify a way to resolve their issues justly.
In his free time, he likes to get artistic, he would spend hours painting views on a canvas, exploring the creative side of his mind. Since he lived alone, he likes to keep himself occupied, with something to do most of the time. Some nights, especially on weekends, he would join his other adult friends, playing grand strategy video games with them, titles such as ‘Hearts of Iron 4’ or ‘Crusader kings II’. This would help him spend his nights away from work, having fun whilst getting to spend time with his friends. Even when he is away from the classroom, of which he teaches history, he still studies it. Having a grand interest in the subject and dedicating the majority of his freetime (meaning not grading papers, actual freetime) to the preservation and study of History.. Benjamin’s star sign is Cancer, which comes with the strong trait of intuity. He is good at having correct gut feelings, and is not afraid to follow his gut.
He is good at spotting where a student may be struggling but is too nervous to ask for help, in which case he would go up to the student himself, asking if he could help them with their issue. He sees children as the next generation, and puts as much effort as possible into teaching them. Doing the utmost of his ability to make his lessons interesting yet fun. Ben is unique as he has high-functioning autism. Something that allows him to maintain a strong interest in the subject he teaches. As he spends the majority of his time learning new facts and subjects, he will always have new things to teach.He has a genuine passion for the subject he teaches. And will go above and beyond to get a new generation interested in the subject. In the future his main goal is to spread the word of history, and get as many young people interested in it as he is. When with other teachers, he loves to converse about their subjects, and initiate debates with other teachers whilst remaining fully professional.
Scenarios
You find a gang of delinquents in the hallway cursing and swearing, what do you do?: He would walk up to the students, giving them a verbal warning, telling them to stop cursing, since bad and/or inappropriate language is not tolerated. If they still don’t listen and stop, he will issue detention, and if things escalate to the point where they are being disrespectful to Ben, a teacher, he will try to get someone from the senior staff team involved.
No one in your class is listening to a word you say, what do you do?: Benjamin would stop speaking, and watch the class continue their conversations for a few moments before saying in a slightly louder than normal voice “Everyone quiet”. He would expect the students to quieten down, if they do not then he would explain to them that it is important to pay attention, if there are any particular students being disruptive and still talking, he would give them 3 warnings before issuing detentions for after school.
When in the teacher's lounge, how does your character act?: Ben would walk up to the coffee/tea machine, making himself a cup of tea with two sugars, asking any other present staff members if they would like anything. He would then grab a seat, conversing with the other teachers whilst he sips on his hot drink. He would also spend this time well by planning future lessons, making necessary notes and updating his weekly planner. He would be marking his students’ homeworks, grading each one, making a neat record of the scores to post later on.

/me He'd walk towards the corner of the classroom, opening a drawer he pulled out several notebooks and worksheets for the class. He'd then turn around, before handing them out to all of his students. Shortly after he would begin handing out pencils and any other equipment that was needed to students who did not have them. He'd soon walk back to his desk and sit down.
/me He'd walk up to the whiteboard, energetically taking out a marker as he wrote on the board 'Mr. Cooke's History class.' Before proceeding to write the date on the board, followed by a list of 5 easy questions on the whiteboard. Written above it was 'Starter questions. Talk with the person sitting next to you' with a smiley face just after it.’ After around 5 minutes, once he had, he notified the class he would be accepting answers, and to raise their hand if they wished to present their answers.
/me He would sit at his desk, placing his briefcase on the desk in front of him as he opened the case, revealing a couple colour co-ordinated folders. He would look through them, trying to find the task sheets for this lesson. He would then take out the worksheets, closing his briefcase, as he walked up to the students, handing out the worksheets as he explained the task. “Your task now is to fill out these questions on this worksheet. Try your best, you have 20 minutes and then we will mark.”
/me He’d glance at his watch, trying to estimate the time left of the lesson, thinking of how to wrap up the lesson. He would then turn to the students: “Alright everyone. Good job on today’s topic, I think you guys deserve a break from all the hard work. Let’s end the lesson with a short game of Heads down Thumbs up.” He would then instruct them to place their heads on the desks, close their eyes and place their thumbs up in front of them. He would also pick 2 students to volunteer to assist him in the running of the game.
Backstory
Benjamin ‘Ben’ Cooke was born in Yorkshire, England in the year 2000. He was born into a single-mother household with one older brother, Leon. His father had left Ben’s mother and Leon when he found out that Ben was to be born - he didn’t want to be a father to one, let alone two children, so he packed his bags and left. All Ben knew of his father was the pictures in a photo album they had, and words about him from his brother and mother. He never got to spend father-son time or any other types of bonding due to the absence of a father figure in his life.
Ben was quite a quiet and shy kid for most of his childhood. He wouldn’t do much outside of school, other than go to his swimming lessons at the community leisure centre. He had a small friendship group growing up, which stayed the same when he joined High School, all of them were quite reserved individuals but social amongst themselves. He became quite interested in History and Politics, ever since his teacher for this subject changed halfway through the school year. This new teacher made the lessons more enjoyable and interactive, which sparked Ben’s interest in History since he was finally learning about some fun topics. He decided to start reading more into the history of Britain and colonialism, which led to many revelations.
As he grew up, Ben’s interest in History and Politics grew stronger and he decided that he wanted to pursue it at college. He had his whole college life planned out, however he was unable to make those ambitions come true. His mother passed away from a battle with cancer, when Ben was in his last year of high school, which really changed the situation. It was just Ben and Leon now, Leon had automatically become Ben’s carer since he was of legal age, however Leon wasn’t pleased about this as he had plans of his own for the future. Shortly after the death of their mother, Leon moved away to Doncaster with his girlfriend, leaving Ben behind all by himself. For a short while, Ben lived alone, he had gotten a job at the leisure centre he used to go to so that he could make some money to afford the rent and maintenance of living alone.
Going to college was still something that Ben wanted to do, he wasn’t prepared to give up on his dreams completely. He decided to take a gap year to earn some money so that he could move away. He sold the house, which made him a source of money, along with his earnings from his job. With the money he had saved up, he managed to buy a ticket to Karakura, Japan, where he enrolled into College to continue studying History and Politics at an advanced level.
Upon graduating from college, Benjamin found himself in odd jobs around Japan. Most of these included either history or education, of which he had a degree in both. From a job as a teaching assistant in Karakura to working at local libraries. After several years of moving around, being teachers in several areas around the country, he returned to the place of his graduation, Karakura. And decided to apply for the role of History Teacher.

His father had left Ben’s mother and Leon when he found out that Ben was to be born - he didn’t want to be a father to one, let alone two children, so he packed his bags and left. All Ben knew of his father was the pictures in a photo album they had, and words about him from his brother and mother. He never got to spend father-son time or any other types of bonding due to the absence of a father figure in his life.
Ben was quite a quiet and shy kid for most of his childhood. He wouldn’t do much outside of school, other than go to his swimming lessons at the community leisure centre. He had a small friendship group growing up, which stayed the same when he joined High School, all of them were quite reserved individuals but social amongst themselves. He became quite interested in History and Politics, ever since his teacher for this subject changed halfway through the school year. This new teacher made the lessons more enjoyable and interactive, which sparked Ben’s interest in History since he was finally learning about some fun topics. He decided to start reading more into the history of Britain and colonialism, which led to many revelations.
As he grew up, Ben’s interest in History and Politics grew stronger and he decided that he wanted to pursue it at college. He had his whole college life planned out, however he was unable to make those ambitions come true. His mother passed away from a battle with cancer, when Ben was in his last year of high school, which really changed the situation. It was just Ben and Leon now, Leon had automatically become Ben’s carer since he was of legal age, however Leon wasn’t pleased about this as he had plans of his own for the future. Shortly after the death of their mother, Leon moved away to Doncaster with his girlfriend, leaving Ben behind all by himself. For a short while, Ben lived alone, he had gotten a job at the leisure centre he used to go to so that he could make some money to afford the rent and maintenance of living alone.
Going to college was still something that Ben wanted to do, he wasn’t prepared to give up on his dreams completely. He decided to take a gap year to earn some money so that he could move away. He sold the house, which made him a source of money, along with his earnings from his job. With the money he had saved up, he managed to buy a ticket to Karakura, Japan, where he enrolled into College to continue studying History and Politics at an advanced level.
Upon graduating from college, Benjamin found himself in odd jobs around Japan. Most of these included either history or education, of which he had a degree in both. From a job as a teaching assistant in Karakura to working at local libraries. After several years of moving around, being teachers in several areas around the country, he returned to the place of his graduation, Karakura. And decided to apply for the role of History Teacher.
