My activity varies depending on my IRL schedule as I am still a student in college.
On weekdays, I study most of the time, however, during the evening at around 8-9PM, I find myself making time for SRP related things, such as tailoring or GangRP (quit).
During the weekend or on school breaks, I tend to log on as SRP is considered my hobby as it helps me escape the real world in a way, to relax and enjoy something different.
Overall, I play around 20 hours a day!

What experiences do you have with roleplay?:
After joining SRP for the first time in 2018, I’ve always felt somewhat attached to it as it felt nice to hop into a fake world with so much creativity and freedom.
I’ve found myself immersed in GangRP (2020) and after joining back to SRP in January of 2023, I dove straight back into it. After being fairly active and allowing myself to understand the new rules, I felt as though there was much more to SRP than gang and crime, and since I have been so comfortable with GangRP, I stayed there.
I’d want to try different areas and factions in SRP, such as being a shopkeeper or a teacher or applying for EMS (which is what I am doing right now). As instead of taking another break from SRP, I’m going out of my comfort zone and exploring different factions and learning newer things.
In 2021, I participated in TeamRP and was on the track team for around 4 months after trying out so I am obviously familiar with the school, school grounds and events that occur within that area.
What is your motivation for applying?
My motivation is simply exploring new areas in SRP. As I have been a player for around 3 years all together (not including breaks), I feel the need to explore different areas in SRP (as mentioned above). I'd like to step out of my comfort zone, meet new people, and just grow as a person from the experiences. As EMS applications are open and the heads are trying to fill out the slots, I believe that an opportunity has risen and I should be able to learn and experience different areas within SRP during my time.

THE DIRECTOR:
Essentially the overseer, the person that handles every staff member and handles how the whole hospital is run.
THE CLINICAL LEAD:
The Clinical Lead handles the higher care and maintains the best standard of practice at the hospital
HEAD OF DEPARTMENTS:
They overlook their own faction and the people within it. They take care of their own and train the newer Psychiatrists, Doctors and or Surgeons.
ATTENDING:
One who has completed their Residency and is now a practising Surgeon/Doctor/Psychiatrist.
RESIDENT:
One who is in training and will keep their time at the hospital as a learning experience before qualifying for the next stage, an Attending.
DOCTOR:
A Doctors role within a hospital, is to diagnose and treat the common medical conditions, as well as refer patients to specialists such as surgeons or psychiatrists. They also have the ability to diagnose and prescribe patients with any meds that are fit for their own situation
SURGEON:
A Surgeon performs operations and treats internal bodily issues, this includes, amputation, transplants. sewing wounds, etc.
They tend to spend their time in the OR completing surgeries and handling administrative duties. They handle injuries that require x-rays, CT scans and MRI scans.
PSYCHIATRIST:
Psychiatrists specialises in Psychological issues, such as mental illnesses, mental health and substance use. As medical professionals, they spend their time in therapy with their patients by listening, dealing with concerns as well as handling diagnoses and prescriptions.

Backstory (100+ Words)
It’s July 27th, 1979. At the church in Karakura, Japan, a wedding between Yang Cheng and Tada Tachitsu is taking place. “I do,” Yang says with a smile plastered across her face. “And I do, as well,” Tada says, not letting the officiant finish their sentence. The building erupts with cheers as Yang and Tada tightly hug each other.
Fast forward a year and Yang Cheng is at the Karakura hospital on June 27th, 1980. She stays in the hospital room for hours. But, when she walks out, she’s smiling with a newborn baby on the way to her home.
Yang and Tada got their precious baby, Erzhan Sakenov (who later changed his last name to Tachitsu) and sat him down in a small crib. They cared for him lovingly each and every day. Erzhan was an extremely happy baby and barely ever threw a fuss due to his parents always fulfilling his needs before he even knew what needed to be done.
Erzhan made it through his childhood years. He often would sleep in class. Even though his parents were great with interacting with him, they were also… not the greatest parents. They would stay up and watch Jeopardy at 3AM each day and would always ignore Erzhan’s second grade teacher, Miss Maratova’s, warnings that Erzhan was doing poorly in school. But, Ezrhan still passed all his classes!
Strangely, Erzhan also… read a lot… and had a rather large vocabulary that made him sound like a seventy year old man reminiscing on when he was fighting in World War II… Which… concerned a lot of people.
Once he had turned eleven, his baby sister was born. Iona Tachitsu came home from the hospital. All of Erzhan’s aunts, uncles, and older cousins were calling Iona a “miracle baby.” He didn’t quite understand that. He truly believed that he was the miracle and Iona was just… meh.
Eventually, one of the older cousins (Ryoichi Tachitsu) explained to Erzhan that “miracle baby” just meant that the child has a large age gap from the mother’s other child(ren). Erzhan understood and decided that, “Yeah, Iona is a miracle baby.”
Iona was raised the same way that Yang and Tada raised Erzhan. With care every day, never having the time to throw a fuss. Iona grew up a happy child. But, her happiness and well-behaviour would change into freedom when her parents began to supervise her less. Iona turned seven and her brother, Erzhan, moved out of the house to go off to college. But, Iona stayed at home. She and her brother were extremely close. Without him there, Iona went a little crazy. She became… a tween rebel. She never focused on her studies or schooling, she was always doing whatever she could to break her parents’ rules.
She would sneak out of the house at night, start fights at school, steal her parents’ alcohol and chug it, everything you could think of, she did it. Her parents grounded her on multiple accounts, but Iona didn’t listen to their instructions. She knew that her parents wouldn’t have the guts to lay a hand on her, so she just strolled out of the house, seemingly oblivious to their yells for her to come back.
That night, Iona slept on a cold cot in the basement as punishment. But, she still didn’t learn her lesson. She continued on her reckless adventures until she was sixteen. One night, she was running off during the middle of the night. A police officer pulled over near Iona, “What are you doing out here so late at night?”
Iona ran. She didn’t want to get arrested. She didn’t really know how the law worked… so she just assumed that she’d get put in jail since she was out after curfew. She ran back home and cried into her bed out of fear, hoping that the cop didn’t see her. That was the night that something snapped in Iona. She didn’t misbehave anymore. She just… didn’t. She was so scared that she’d get jailed that she respected her parents once again, she never broke their rules.
She began to focus more on schooling, and she studied more often. This led to more opportunities to hang out with friends. She would study with her friends. It was a revolutionary idea. Iona became… a happier person in her teen years. During this time, her brother graduated from Al-Farabi Kazakh National University in Almaty Kazakhstan. Iona was in charge of planning his college graduation party! It was a killer party… even though it only had around ten people. But, ten is better than two hundred.
Iona decided that she would try to go to a really good college to major in medicine. She wanted to make her brother and sister, Erzhan and Yuuma, as proud as she could. So she sought all the opportunities that would make them say, “Iona, I’m proud of you.” Those were the only words that she wanted to hear. “Iona, I’m proud of you.”
Iona applied for Oxford University. It was the only place she applied for. Her skills of d̶e̶c̶e̶i̶v̶i̶n̶g̶ persuading people helped her out with the application and interview process. After months of awaiting an answer, she finally got the letter.

Iona was extremely excited. She packed her bags and flew off to the UK… without saying goodbye to her family. She was starting university two months after… not right then. So, she was just homeless for two months… Luckily, a local homeless shelter let her stay there, so she wasn't completely alone.

What is your character’s medical speciality? Why did they choose this focus?

Iona has obtained a Master's degree, majoring in Medicine and Surgery. She was mostly intrigued in cardiology and how such a small mass of muscle would help such a large vessel live and function. Iona's dream of becoming a cardiologist or a general surgeon, would allow her to save lives in so many ways, as her brother saves lives using the law, Iona does the same biologically.
What medical residencies did your character take after medical school?
Iona Tachitsu spent 2 and a half years at St Thomas’ hospital in London after completing her studies at Oxford University, then due to complications, she moved. She spent 2 more years at the Royal London hospital in London before moving back to Karakura, Japan.
Does your character have any work experience in medical positions?
After being a Surgeon in 2 different hospitals in the United Kingdom, she would have a lot of experience. She was a very well-known and desired surgeon, who has completed a mountain of successful surgeries during her stay at the 2 different hospitals.

Describe your character; how do they look, what makes them unique?
An attractive middle-aged Japanese woman standing at 5’9 weighing 132 lbs with a slim almost boney figure. She would possess thick black hair that would fall down to her hips, brushing past her pale body, as bored brown eyes would glance restlessly at you. Eye wrinkles would define themselves every time she speaks as well as a defined line in between her eyebrows, indicating years of furrowed brows and worry. Her skin would be tight yet smooth due to years of spa-days and anti-ageing cream. A smooth and gentle voice would escape her lips as she spoke, due to Iona holding herself to a high standard in public, yet she would be able to voice her own with a great volume. The atmosphere surrounding her would be tense as the scent of Yves Saint Laurent would follow along behind her as she walked with her chin up and composed posture.
How does your character act on and off duty?
On Duty: Iona’s professionalism would be unmatched as she takes her work seriously due to the years of dedication and time she spent to get to where she is. Her communication with her colleagues would be proper as she rarely used informal language on duty due to her own beliefs even if her colleague was someone dear to her.
Off Duty: Due to work, her overall energy would be drained and depleted because of her career, causing her social battery to be constantly dead. However due to her morals, she would manage to find time for her family and family gatherings, as she strongly believes that they have the highest importance in her life.
Does your character function better on their own or with others?
Depending on the situation, Iona functions better on her own in regards to paperwork and office work as she would be able to hear her own thoughts. However, as soon as she steps into an OR, she understands immediately that the people surrounding her are on her side and are simply there to help her. She knows that working with others is beneficial to herself, her colleagues and most importantly, her patient. Iona realises, others have different strengths and weaknesses to herself.
What plans does your character have for the future?
Her lifestyle has prohibited Iona from thinking that far into the future after her studies, however she desires the basics. Falling in love, getting married, and having children to expand the already massive family. Due to her dedication to her career, she had no time for romance or love interests which hindered her ideas. Which is why her idea of the future is simply to stay in the medical field as she truly feels accomplished after all of the work she put into her future, she would not want it to go to waste.
How is your character perceived by others? How does it contrast with their perception of themself?
Right off the bat, people would say Iona is a very stubborn and stuck-up lady who thinks she towers over everyone. This attitude merely comes from the people she associated herself with during her time in Oxford university, however Iona’s perception of herself is quite different. Despite her years of training and work, she still doubts herself and her skills internally and voices herself using ideas that she is confident with, hence the stuck-up personality.
