Describe your activity on the server:
When it comes to activity on the server, I tend to stick to more of the background tasks as of lately - a shadow lingering in the background. However, I do like to believe I am fairly active with who I am despite my hidden figure. With my roles such as event team along with a multitude of tailoring spots, I would like to consider myself fairly active on such a server - since those roles require such. When it comes to a scale of zero to ten (with zero being the least), I believe it is fair to place me somewhere similar to the seven or eight number.

The only few reasons I would not place myself at a solid ten is due to my college work along with OOC responsibilities that line up on certain dates. Being a full-time college student requires my attention on other tasks such as assignments and finals, to which my activity will not be up to par as some. Along with school work, I do have a few OOC responsibilities that further push my time away from such a server, such as other interests along with my schedule. However, with my time along the server, I have managed to spread my time evenly and this should be no problem.

Along with the collection of tailoring spots and events you see along the server, I tend to be working at a multitude of shops - earning the title of ‘manager’ at the beloved Kirei Hana and Okinasa. Activity from me is always a constant stream of positive energy and it has never truly ‘dipped’ despite playing for over four years.

Below is a full blown schedule breakdown of times you should expect to see me online, however: I am always able to respond to DMS or pings regarding my actual ‘seen’ time.

Are you aware that inactivity can result in removal from the council?:
Being aware of inactivity and being removed from such a space in any faction is a given. I understand this entirely and agree to it!

┆TRIVIA QUESTION ˚.⋆

What is the student council and what do they do?:
Speaking of the student council and their daily tasks seems to be as easy as a piece of pie… at least to myself. Such members of the council are hand selected by the infamous Dean and become more than the average student - the eyes and ears of the faculty. It’s not as easy for every single worker at the local high school and college to keep watch over everything, and thus the members of the council come into play. Not only do they help enforce the rules by vocally addressing those involved and vicariously aid to the disciplinary actions (with the mixed reactions) of reports and detention slips, these one-of-a-kind teenagers and adults are able to offer their very own insight to situations that teachers have not entirely seen.

What motivated you to apply for council? (e.g. Interests, friends, etc.):
There are a collection of reasons I’ve decided to apply this wave to council for, each of my fingers extending for a reason like I’m a child listing off why I should be able to get an extra cookie after having my first. However, references and nostalgic jokes aside, one of the reasons I’m applying is due to being lost and wanting to ‘find’ something that drives me once again.

My past existence on SchoolRP, and just roleplaying as a whole, has always been motivated by a sort of comfort level; breaking the wall with my most recent faction which was Shrine. Logging onto the server, I tend to seek out what I know is comforting so I can keep doing it, as there is the age-old saying: don’t fix what isn’t broken. I have been standing on stages during pep rally as a ex highschool cheerleader, performing sutures for those injured as a paramedic higher-up, and even praying to the Kami for a new reason every day as a maiden: yet the all only provided some comfort, and they were always going to be ‘safe’.

I never truly found a place to keep me going in the long run, and I’ve been wanting to go to a multitude of spaces to find one that truly ‘fits’ me. I will always have the ability to go back to the comfort that I know, but I believe that staying the same is more frightening than the big leap of change. Thus, one reason I am applying for council is to change up my everyday life, and search for that reason to keep going.

Not to say I don’t have any friends in this faction, which I do. Those people, in short, are yet another reason for my application. A few of them, who I will not name as it will boost their already massive ego and they will clock me for it, have continued to drive my passion for roleplaying and testing the new waters time and time again. Those in the faction know who they are, and without the constant support they’ve given - this application would turn to dust. Said people only have high praise for such a faction, and thus my hesitancy diminished significantly and.. well… here I am! I am applying for council as I have only ever heard good things for both the members and lead, and believe the friends I have in such a space can further help my other points listed.

Are you aware that you’ll be having to use your creativity and teamwork ethic within the student council? (e.g. Coming up and helping with events):
I am fully aware that I will have to use my creativity and teamwork ethic within the council. Coming up and helping with events is already something I have done and will do with my other roles, so being aware of such is nothing new to me. Just stick me in the needed spots and I’ll get it done!

Can you list the roles in the council along with other roles that might be important to the council?:
I am not the most knowledgeable when it comes to the roles and their significance to council… but I can try my best.

⁀જ➣ THE DEAN & THE FACULTY.
“Waiiit, THE STAFF! Is there a way for me to just… casually hang in the council room free of charge?”
When it comes to the entirety of the council faction, this is run by the head of operations . . . the big man in charge. . . which is mainly the Dean. This person tends to have the final say in regards to such a space and help aid in the heavier decision making process. You also have the faculty, which go hand-and-hand with the faction - helping in places that members cannot reach.

⁀જ➣ PRESIDENT
“Do the presidents want to sign my forehead? Hang out with me? I can take a t-shirt signature, too!”
Such a role as president is the highest role you can be, since they are what represents the council in the highest regard. Those with the role, which there is only two for both high school and college, use their voice to speak on situations, overview the rest of the members, help coordinate events with the vicariously planning, help wherever is needed.

⁀જ➣ VICE-PRESIDENT
“I’m new here. No friends. Chud. But- Hey VEE-PEE. ABC for hangout?”
Going next in the ranking, we have the vice-president. Much like with the other role above, there are only two in total, one for high school and one for college. These members are the next highest ranking, and serve as the next suitable option in regards to overviewing along with any questions. This role along with the President role are similar in tasks, but one is higher ranking than the other.

⁀જ➣ COUNCIL MEMBERS (HISTORIAN, SECRETARY, NORMAL MEMBER)
“If I I have cookies and talk to you about anime, would you hang with me? Council members? ANYONE?!”
Finally, you have the beloved and infamous council members. There are different roles to each council member, such as historian along with secretary. When it comes to the title of ‘historian’, these are the members who work hard to jot down all of the information and keep it in a neat little bow. These members tend to keep the history preserved. Then, the secretary role is similar in a sense, but these beloved members are responsible for holding those in the council accountable and manage the records provided. In conclusion, the collection of members in the council make up the actual ‘body’ of the faction, as without them - who’s running this place?!

┆SCENARIOS ˚.⋆

While students gather for a school assembly, one student behaves disruptively, causing a disturbance. How would you manage the situation to restore order effectively while minimizing any additional disruptions to the assembly?

“During a school assembly, my priority is a priority list - does that make sense at all?” Maybe the idea and the wording didn’t fully come to fruition, but her heart was in the right place! “I’d want to minimize further disruption rather than to escalate it beyond what's necessary - don’t want to make an even bigger disruption, you know? I’d approach the student as calmly and quietly as I could - asking them to step to the side of the crowd to speak to them one-on-one.” The priority list was beginning to unfold, and one of her fingers extended outward like before. A list always had to start at one, didn’t it?
“If the behavior had continued after they had received a verbal warning from other associates or me, I would escort them out of the area where the assembly is occurring and explain why their actions were disruptive to both the staff members and the students attempting to participate.” A second finger was added towards the list, her chronic yappathon still rolling like a ball.
“Depending on the severity of the conflict, I would document the incident appropriately via a detention slip or report it for faculty to review. We’re working as a team here, people!!” A smile and a bubble of laughter escaped her mouth, leaning into the chair as time passed. It seems the comfort level was coming naturally.
“My whole take, right? My professionalism throughout this and composure, as for such scenarios it is important, can be just as effective as the disruptor. If I react aggressively or loudly in front of a crowd, it just makes me a disturbance in the process of removing the offender, it’s the same.”

A student refuses to take their mask off after you’ve brought up detention and they’ve run away! What do you do?
As if the teenager had become an ice sculpture in an instant and then cracked with the sentence spoken, her framed cat-eyes widened in panic. “I’m not a runner, I have asthma! My inhaler is RIIGHT here! I’m not good with all of that. . .” Yet, did she really need to run in general, sprinting off after a student that clearly did not want to be found? No. The fear left her eyes as the rational part of her brain kicked in.“The good news is that I really don’t have to actually run. Since I’ve already - most likely - probably… have given them a warning, they’re aware of what’s going to happen. I’d let my hand go to my walky-talky and tell a teacher … or whoever is around… about the situation, and wait until their name is called over the radio. A power trio would be waiting for them, for sure. First, the teacher, then myself, then a pretty pink detention slip with a smiley face sticker!”

A teacher observes concerning behavior from a student, including the creation of disturbing artwork and verbal threats toward peers. How would you collaborate with the teacher to evaluate the situation and intervene appropriately to address potential safety concerns?
“What did they draw? WAIT- let me see?!” Sadly, the pink flame wasn’t trying to hide her nosiness - irises lighting up like the lights in the room. Blinking a few times to get her head back on straight, Meiwakuna continued to speak in the space of the interview. “First, I’m going to be nosy - but for a good reason! I’d find myself located next to the teacher, trying to gather as much information on the situation and be able to have concrete evidence of this actually happening. What if it was okay with the students? It’s not okay, but- I’m walking in blind! I’d also ask if the teacher wants my involvement or not because.. They could also have it handled.” The woman gasped out like a fish out ot water, before closing her lips and continuing to answer the question at hand.
“Either way, I’ll tackle the disturbing artwork first. Councilor Meiwakuna, if needing to be involved, would go over towards the student who made the artwork, and bring up the concern of the teacher. It’s not snitching if it’s using your resources! I’d vocalize the comments made or feelings being brought up, and explain how the artwork negatively affected the scenario.” A small nod of her head, and then the answer swapped.
“Next, the verbal threats. Nobody enjoys being told something negative, especially if it’s an active threat. Kindness is free, by the way! Since the teacher is already watching over the situation, it technically is their space of expertease. If I’m needed again, I’d try to go over to the student saying the threats and vocalize why this situation is wrong, and the consequences of this action. Detention slip, SLT involvement, and even leading to expulsion. I’d probably bring up the idea that if they take a step back from the scenario - that everything before could all be avoided. I’d try to lead the student away afterward, or create as much distance between the student and the victim as possible. Whatever happens after being told the consequences? That’s freedom of expression… and I’m free to give them the detention slip.”

A group of students asks for your permission to stage a protest on school grounds. Would you allow them to protest? If so, how do you ensure that the protest does not disrupt the school environment while upholding their freedom of expression?
“The Krusty Krab is unfair, Mr. Krabs is in th- oh, no. . I got it! I’ll stop making a joke.” The joke chant echoed around the space of the interview, sparkly nails tapping along the space of her kneecap, legs crossing one over the other. “If the students are asking me for permission, I’d probably try to cover all of my bases. What’s the protest about? Where were they wanting to go in terms of a spot? What’s the end goal?” The woman tilted her head in the process of the questions, pieces of lava lamp hair slowly falling to her shoulder. “If it’s school appropriate, what’s the harm in it? I’d let the people protest whatever it was… with supervision. Perhaps I’d let a single teacher know to be on standby in case things go south, and then myself in terms of the space.” The answer revealed itself, finally moving her head back to its original position. “Freedom of expression, and- if it’s something that aligns with myself? Consider me chanting and joining along while reminding those we're protesting and using freedom of expression.” A break in her words, a smile dancing along her lower lip. “If it’s not school appropriate, perhaps this isn’t the space for them to showcase that. I’d tell them that I understand their need for a protest, but direct their attention and pride to a different outlet.”

A teacher/receptionist has told you that you are doing something that goes against what you were trained by your higher-ups. How would you react to this?
“This isn’t me being egotistical, or trying to diminish the teacher - but we’re all young once and we are all bound to make a mistake. Humans aren’t perfect, it’s not socially sustainable. Am I being scolded like a toddler or spoken to with respect?” Gaichu answered directly to the interviewer, cat-eyes hidden under her wired frames. Slightly raising her hand, the glasses got taken from her face, and a single cleaning cloth practically formed in her palms. “Depending on what I went against, I’d acknowledge where I could have been wrong and move appropriately. If I don’t realize where I’m wrong or take accountability, growth can’t occur and I’m bound to make the same mistake.” The cloth danced around the glass part of the accessory piece, wiping invisible dust just to do something with her fidgeting hands. “My next step? Apologize for whatever I had done to cause such a feeling such as disappointment or dissatisfaction. I don’t have any ill intention to go against what I’ve been taught, of course, but… perhaps the times have changed with age? Something I learned versus something they have learned changed with the way the time moves? It all depends on the situation at hand.”

Please provide at least one detailed event that the council can use as a future event to showcase your creativity! (Must be 300 words or more for one event):

“Let me quiz you on ocean facts!”

⁀જ➣ INTRODUCTION
Jellyfish are silent creatures who swim along the ocean’s currents below the surface level. These aquatics are tranquil, extremely intelligent, universal, and quietly powerful in the sense of their sting. Much like how these characters float along the space of the water, the student council turns the entirety of school into sea life and spends a collection of days reminding the students that being impactful does not mean you need to be the loudest.

⁀જ➣ BIOLUMINESCENT
The council would have an empowerment booth titled ‘Bioluminescent’, which involves a designated space in the school to be decorated in a multitude of colors - much like a school of jellyfish. Each student would be able to write on ‘glow drops’, which would be sticky notes ranging in colors, and able to ‘glow’ in the dark - since most jellyfish tend to thrive in the night. Students would be able to write either things that scare them, or things that bring them anxiety - and be able to see that these miniscule things actually make up something incredibly beautiful. The council would collect these papers and turn it into an artwork to showcase that even though these fears are big in the student’s eyes, the grand scheme of things is there are more people just like them and they are able to connect with one another on such.

⁀જ➣ FLUIDITY
Not only that, but the beloved council would also begin something titled ‘Fluidity’, which heavily relies on the people of the school and those who wish to indulge in such. Students are seen coming together at night time in the center of the school, where the gym and vicarious outside are decorated to be an Atlantis theme - strung jellyfish along the ceiling, pretend coral planted along the floorboards, and such. This could also work with the ‘artwork’ idea in the Bioluminescent section - as the overall theme is unity. Jellyfish are known to have a collection of tentacles all moving in different directions, but help get the animal from point A to point B. During this part of the event, there would be exercises that heavily involve teamwork - such as trust falls, three-legged races, and puzzles.

⁀જ➣ OVERALL
With this event, it involves the students ability to work as a team in one fluid motion. Much like these jellyfish, components along the span of a week come to move as a unit across the metaphoric water rather than breaking apart and being sunk along the ocean’s floor. With the idea of an empowerment system and exercises that require teamwork: Project Lumina makes those who are at the bottom of the human ocean feel as if they’re floating.

⁀જ➣ EVENT CHECK-LIST
  • Build Team to build along the gym and outside area, designated areas for trust exercises and a temporary art of a jellyfish. Ocean theme!
  • Signs being placed around the school with the ‘glow’ ink - all with different fears written on them.
  • Council participation to make sure this event runs smoothly: either to help write the fears, run the trust exercises, and so on and so forth.
  • Jellyfish themed outfits for the council during this event. This is NOT a requirement, but more for the aesthetic of the entire event. We can be silly!

┆PERSONAL INFORMATION ˚.⋆

Name:
It’s not everyday you find yourself in the presence of someone such as the pink flamed teenager, the neon pink and orange curls cascaded down the front and back of the teenager - some sort of hairstyle dancing on her frame. Did she even remember her name? Of course she did, everyone who waltzed past her heard the specifics of such a name. A puff of air went past her chapped lips, moving her bangs slightly, and thus her high-pitched voice rang out:
“Meiwakuna Gaichū. Did you need help spelling? It’s M-E-I-W-A-K-U-N-A, then a space, then G-A-I-C-H-U with a macron over the U. Don’t forget it!”

Gender:

Her wired glasses framed a pair of cat-eyes, peering directly at them as if they had introduced her to her favorite anime. With a gaze that never wavered from the person before her, she sat content until the next question. Crossing one leg over the other with a bounce in her shoe sole, the teenager in… a Nyan cat shirt and misshaped tie… continued to chirp some god-awful tune to her heart's content:
“I’m a female. I go by she, or her. I’m not picky! But only those two, thank you.”

Age:

It was a simple number, and thus received a simple response:
“19. My birthday is April 1st, so- please don’t play a prank on me. . .”

Phone number:

With a small hum, another simple and basic answer was given. Who knew what her phone number was at this point given the world around her? She was more of an Onrain texter or background commenter!
“030-241-3002. I think…”

How would you describe your personality?:

As the questions continued to flow through the room like glitter onto a floor (which, good luck escaping that cleanup), so did her poise and posture. In the simplest form of words, Gaichu found the answer with words that described her the best:
“Type A Personality. I’m Loud and proud . . but- that’s not all I am, though!”
Was that everything that the neon lava lamp had to offer for such a question? Absolutely not, and it was evident in the giggle from the Japanese’s glossed lips this was the case. Nerves didn’t spook her despite the question making her eyes widen - the spotlight still was on her? Fingers splayed along the table, painted nails tapping slightly along the wooden beams as she looked at the interviewer.
“I don’t tolerate a lot of disrespect, especially since there have been students that compared me to Velma with my glasses or lack thereof sometimes. I don’t look like her.. by the way. Lots of differences.” A shake of her head, and the conversation about Gaichu’s personality continued.
“I like to joke around where it’s needed and ramble on and on about my favorite idol bands and recent manga obsession - which has recently been TXT and Nana . . . but that’s outside of school! Inside of school? It’s classes, then work, then conversations with my friends, then back to the beginning. Academics are my top priority over everything - all A’s or nothing. I’m extremely serious about how I come across, so that’s why I tend to add some personality to my outfits: bows, jewelry that screams Meiwakuna, and just things that make sure my identity doesn’t fade with the crowd. If nobody knows where I am? Looking in the library for the next book in my manga series or strolling on the roof!”

Appearance/attire (Please provide a picture):

Oh, a camera? At least this seemed to be pretty easy to handle for such a teenager. Adjusting herself along the chair to be facing such a camera, the woman ran a hand (which was decorated with a collection of rainbow jewelry and a few silly bands) through her hair and offered a quirky smile to the camera.
“Get my good side, please! I have a zit on my cheek and I really don’t want that to be seen!”

What separates you from other applicants seeking your position?:
The hard hitting question landed as soon as the camera flash registered, blinking rapidly to get rid of the post-flash blindness. Shaking her head slightly, the woman looked at the interviewer, and folded her fingers amongst themselves - the edge of her pinky residing on the wooden table once more.
“I’m not afraid to use my voice just because someone tries to shove mine aside.” The answer didn’t seem complete, and neither did Gaichu’s comments on why she and someone else were separated people, or why she was above someone else. “When it comes to people, it always becomes a competition of who can say something louder, or who can hold their own against the voice of authority. Then, when you say something that holds weight: they try to diminish it and use that exact phrase against you. It happens to anyone, whether it be the Dean themselves or a student.” A break in her words, the upturn of her lips slowly falling into a thin-line. It seems her passion for such a space was coming to light!
“The difference between myself and the next applicant is I won’t hesitate to speak to someone that tries to be that - using my power against someone rather than for them. Not only will I be able to hold my own for myself and someone else, but I’ll be able to keep straight to the facts instead of dancing around someone else's feelings. I’ve been on one side of the playing field, and now I’m wanting to try the other: isn't the student council all about the people, anyway?”

Why do you want this position?:

Taking a moment to ponder on such a topic, Meiwakuna looked down to her fingers - eyeing the rainbow colored pieces and how she truly didn’t seem to fit the bill of ‘How to Be a Student Council member’. Blinking back the fear, her head picked back up and the answer spilled from her lips.
“Looking at me as a person, and then how I am - I don’t exactly scream out that I have a contact list that’s consistently buzzing. I’ve always been an outcast, okay? There! I said it!” It’s like a metaphoric weight was thrown off of her chest and into the center of the room. Well, that’s one way to answer the question, no? “I want friends, and stability. I’ve never really felt like I belonged anywhere - teams aren’t an option with my asthma, being a regular student is getting to be a drag - and… all of the councilors seem nice. Whether it was a requirement to be nice or not, they were, and I want to be friends with them. Being a part of council means that I have the ability to make friends, have those sleepovers you have when you’re a kid, and have a solid foundation to be a part of something that matters.” A puff of air went past her lips once more, lava lamp esque hair moving up and down with the air.
“I don’t want to leave college without making my mark, you know? When people think of Meiwakuna, do they see someone who stood in the way or someone who helped guide? I want to be the second option, and council is the best way to go about it. I can help! I can do that… if you’ll let me.”

What interests you the most about student council?:
The ideology of council always swam around the teenagers head like a fish in a circular tank, ever since she stepped foot into the Karakura school building and eyed those with the uniform and arm band. “Weeelllll…” However, Gaichu was not as confident as she’s been acting! All of her reasons vanished into the air, yet the idea of it all still stayed.
“When it comes to council, I like the people and how they aren’t as untouchable as everyone else. That has to be a given, getting along with the people and liking the way they exist around the building. It’s like- a less scary version of the professors and SLT, with more sense of fashion and can actually understand my meme references.” No diss to any of the adults who would ever hear her words or have an outfit that should’ve been thrown in the donation pile instead of kept - but she’s honest. “Plus, it makes you feel like your actions actually have weight. The council can do a lot of things that normal students like myself can, and people actually respect you and listen instead of wanting to swir- you… get the idea, right?”

What could you contribute to make the school a safe and fun environment?:
Adjusting the tie along the front of her graphic t-shirt, Gaichu felt her soul gravitate towards the exit of the room; her social battery was slowly reaching zero! However, one more question can’t hurt to answer, and it was probably the easiest she could answer. “People love to talk, and people also want to be heard no matter what happens - even if they’re in the wrong. Luckily, I’m good at doing both. I can talk sense into people while also respecting differences, which- some people can’t fathom that people have different opinions. Honest!” A truth was laid out on the table, almost like how her chunky jewelry clanked along the surface.
“I’m an incredible listener, and I really think that with the whole people wanting to be heard no matter what happens, I can easily deescalate a situation by just simply… listening. I’m a middle ground person with the patience of a saint - that’s an assent instead of a fault in my eyes. It’s all neutral in my eyes unless you start talking about how Demon Slayer was worse than K-Pop Demon Hunt- oh, the interview is over?
