Season 1: Fight Club Manga: Issue One
Season 2: Paradise of Skulls.
The tournament arc began with the commencement of the 2022 Fight Club Tournament on July 9th, 2022. The major highlight of the first week's matches was the fight between "JETT" , a Mixed Karate & Kick Boxer known for his leadership position in the verified gang Bonten, and one of Fight
The crowd was in shock and disbelief as Jett brutally attacked Mortem, who was unable to defend himself. As a result, Jett was disqualified and banished from Fight Club forever. The follow-up fight was between the now forfeited opponent and Fight Club's own --- Gin. This match was not nearly as crazy as the previous match, with Gin easily winning the match. This capped off the first week of the tournament, leaving the audience wondering what other surprises and twists the tournament had in store for them.
The tournament arc continued in the second week of the tournament on July 16th, with Fight Club's executive Jiangshi Furukawa trying to make the opening match more 'quiet' in a business tactical decision. However, this plan did not go as expected. The major highlight fight of the night was between "REDACTED", a then high-ranking member of the Akihito Clan, and ROSSA, one of Fight Club's very own. The fight was intense, with both fighters giving it their all. Despite ROSSA's brute force and will power, he was no match for the skilled and experienced REDACTED, who had the upper hand throughout the match.
The crowd watched in awe as the match went on for what seemed like hours. The secondary match was between two of Fight Club's very own --- BIG MAN & Akira, with the fight ending in a visit to the hospital for BIG MAN, who proved himself not to be as strong as he had previously proclaimed. The final fight of the night was between KAELEGO, the Triad Instructor, and Mortem, who had been defeated in the previous week of the tournament. KAELEGO, who took the time to learn Mortem's fighting style, absolutely demolished Mortem both physically and mentally, entering the finals of the tournament.
The tournament arc continued on the third week of the tournament on August 1st, with the opening match being accompanied by the famous director Teppei Momosaki. The opening had two fights, the first being between REDACTED from the Akihito Clan and Fight Club's very own --- SPITE. The fight was a competitive clash between two women who refused to give in, it was a very emotional fight for both the audience and the two. Unfortunately, it ended with a surprising blow that ended SPITE's career, and REDACTED advancing to the finals.
The final fight for the opening was interrupted as a group of cultists attacked the club, weapons flying everywhere, people crying and screaming. The chaos was heard from as far as Takashima. The attack was led by KAELEGO, the leader of the Triad, who had been previously known under the name of Myriad. In the midst of the chaos, KAELEGO decided to kidnap the famous director. The Akihito clan finalist quit out of fear, as they couldn't face this dangerous criminal. This event beginning to put the safety and security of the participants and audience in question.
Now, At first this event was seemingly unrelated. The criminal syndicate known as "The Black Market" was planning to host a semi public event, in order to celebrate and prepare for something? This night being planned by "DRIVER" and "ONI", higher-ups in this grimy Black Market, seemingly
This was when the tournament arc changed as a whole. The Skulls, an unidentified primitive cult that adheres to the belief that humanity must return to its most animalistic beginnings, planned to attack the Black Market's event. They not only wanted to clash with the Black Market, but also take out an enemy, someone who shouldn't have crossed The Skull King.
The tournament arc took an unexpected turn when The Skull King, a one-man army, managed to storm past the entrance of La Casa Nostra and confront an entire cult comprised of what were supposed to be Karakura's most feared and despicable groups. Despite rumours of him having a bomb, the Skull King relied on his brute strength and animalistic instincts to cause a massive commotion, scaring everybody and driving fear into the hearts of those in attendance.
The Skull King made a public display, killing the Triad co-leader in one swift savage motion, announcing himself to the criminal underworld. Despite rumours of him having a bomb, The Skull King relied on his brute strength and animalistic instincts to cause a massive commotion. The audience was left in shock and awe as they witnessed the power and ferocity of The Skull King. With the co-leader of Triad dead, The Skull King issued KAELEGO, the leader of the Triad, to a duel to the death. The question on everyone's mind was where and when this duel would take place.
The tournament arc reached its climax on the 10th of September, the final week of the Fight Club Tournament. The employees of
As a crowd had emerged for the season finale fight, the club was once again raided by The Skulls, with The Skull King, had come to have a duel to the death with KAELEGO. The Skulls had taken dozens of citizens hostage and during this, they would grab the attention of Hiroto Akihito, the then police commissioner. The club was once more raided, this time by the Karakuran Police Force. Mr. Akihito ordered the hostages to escape, except for Lernaean Herrington and his employee Otsuki, who were still in the pit. KAELEGO and The Skull King worked together, dousing each other and their hostages in oil and alcohol. They would kill everyone, themselves, the Herrington, the commissioner,
A ultimatum would be decided, with Commissioner Akihito speaking desperately.
"We've freed the hostages, Skull King, whatever your name is. We accept your ultimatum. Please don't kill those two. We'll let you fight until your last breath. Your duel to the death may proceed."
The final match between KAELEGO and The Skull King was a battle of love and hate, where the two fanatics fought until the death, ultimately leading
KAELEGO and The Skull King were left to deal with the aftermath of their actions, both suffering severe burns and losing functionality of their bodies. The tournament arc ended on a note of uncertainty, as the cults continued to operate in the shadows, and the fate of the two leaders was left up in the air, as although they were in critical condition, they were still left alive.
Season 3: Tournament of Terror
It had been many months since the tournament fire that consumed the Fight Club arena, leaving behind nothing but rubble and ash. The once bustling and secretive underground now only surviving by a few brick support beams. The authorities had finally caught wind of the illegal and dangerous activities taking place within the club's walls, and they had acted swiftly to shut it down.
Now under "new" management, it was about time for the next Tournament to commence. A tournament of terror.
The crowd roared as the fighters entered the ring, their eyes locked on the two men standing across from each other. The ORACLE representative, known for his confident strut and calculated tactics, faced off against the SEIJUTOMA representative, a fierce and skilled fighter.
The ORACLE representative, a man known only as RAELISM, seemed almost to be holding back, his punches and kicks lacking their usual power and precision.
At around the same time, it was announced suddenly that the secondary round had been cancelled. The representative of the gang "SASIN" had mysteriously vanished, and was nowhere to be seen.
A week passed since the shocking match between the ORACLE and SEIJUTOMA representatives, and awe of what would happen next as the next fight approached grew. This time, the fighters were JINX of Otake-Tatsu, a highly feared gang leader known for his ruthless tactics and fighting skills, against the relative newcomer HAWK, the leader of an anarchistic military group.
Bated breathes were held as the two fighters entered the ring, their eyes locked in a fierce stare-down. The bell rang, and the fight began. JINX was the first to strike, launching a series of powerful punches and kicks at HAWK. But the anarchistic leader was quick on his feet and managed to dodge and counter with his own strikes. The fight was intense, with both fighters giving it their all, but it seemed that JINX had the upper hand. But as the fight progressed, HAWK began to find his rhythm and started to come back with some fierce strikes of his own. The crowd was on the edge of their seats as the two fighters exchanged blows, each determined to come out victorious. In the end, it was HAWK who emerged victorious, but barely.
Perhaps the formation of a underdog?
The tension in the arena was undeniable as the last fight of the night approached. This time, the fighters were Yenmaker, a former crime boss and veteran of the Fight Club, against COGNAC, the leader of the SEIJUTOMA gang. COGNAC was known for her brute strength and fierce fighting
But Yenmaker was no ordinary fighter. He was a master of the art of fighting and had a reputation for being one of the most skilled fighters in the club. As he entered the ring, he had a confident swagger and an almost playful look in his eyes. He was the betting station's favourite fighter.
The bell rang, and the fight began. Yenmaker started off by playing with COGNAC, dodging and teasing her, playing purely offensively. He was toying with his opponent, using his superior speed and skill to avoid COGNAC's strikes. The crowd was on the edge of their seats, watching in awe as Yenmaker effortlessly dodged every move. He was milking the crowd of their betting money, showing off his skills and making the fight last longer than necessary.
As the fight progressed, COGNAC became more and more frustrated, her strikes becoming wilder and less precise. Eventually, Yenmaker saw an opening and took advantage of it. He used the metal mask that was stuck on his head to slam into COGNAC, knocking her out in a swift and brutal move. The crowd erupted in cheers as Yenmaker emerged victorious. It was clear that he had been playing with his food, and it was a reminder of the power of the Fight Club's very own.
The semi-finals of the Fight Club tournament had arrived, and the tension in the arena was overflowing. The fighters were Gin Hatake of Fight Club, Hawk of Anarchy, YENMAKER of Fight Club and SHOGANAI of Adobansu.
The first fight was between Gin Hatake and SHOGANAI. The two fighters entered the ring, their eyes locked in fierce determination. The two fighters traded blows, each one seemingly evenly matched in skill and strength. The crowd watched in awe as the two fighters moved around the ring, exchanging punches and kicks.
However, as the fight progressed, something strange began to happen. Structural damages started to occur in the ring, and a large piece of debris fell from the ceiling and hit SHOGANAI. The crowd was in shock as the referee called an end to the fight. It was unclear what had caused the damages, and the crowd was left wondering if it was an accident or if something more sinister was at play. Gin Hatake was declared the winner, but the victory was marred by the strange circumstances of the fight.
The second fight of the semi-finals was between YENMAKER and HAWK of Anarchy. YENMAKER entered the ring with his usual confidence and
The crowd was getting restless, as the fight seemed to be dragging on. Suddenly, HAWK was passed a flag, his primary weapon, the anarchy flag. Without hesitation, he used it to break YENMAKER's legs, leaving him on the ground and unable to continue the fight. With a fierce look in his eyes, HAWK placed the flag on YENMAKER's chest, threatening to pierce his heart and damage his perfect suit. But instead of fear, YENMAKER laughed, happily resigning from the tournament. The crowd was in shock as they realized that YENMAKER had plann
It was the finale, finally. Gin Hatake, one of Fight Clubs very own against the up-and-coming HAWK of Anarchy. The Fight was a odd one. Gin initially started off super confident, assuming HAWK to be just another kid as he hadn't watched the fight before, but as the fight continued, HAWK began to show off his dominance and fighting ability. Eventually, the fight went on so long that the structural damage of the club began to play more and more into the outcome of the fight rather than the actual hits themselves, at some points each of them being tested. It was a test of endurance.
This was until a skateboard was thrown into the ring, with HAWK slamming it straight into Gin's face, Gin was down.
"That warrants a disqualification."
Muttered the Fight Club Director, the crowd going wild in anger. It was the second time that HAWK had used an outside object to win a fight, and it appeared the Director had taken clear notice of this. But, to his bewilderment, a public uproar was made, the crowd went wild in displeasure. A vote had to be made. Who would win? Gin Hatake or Anarchy?
Well let's just say Gin didn't take home much prize money that opening, just a trip to the hospital.
Season 4: Project Maihemu
(Readers note: This is a crossover story between Crime Lore Threads and thus, to see what led up to this, check out the other link!)
Another view months had passed, this gap being due to the events in Season 2, as the club would have to be completely rebuilt from the ground up. The new club was an exceptional wonder of modern engineering, it featured sophisicated near cyberpunk aesthetics, including vibrant neon lights that synchronised with pulsating music, the Club Owner, Driver, had spared no expense in creating his magnum opus of a location.
But, Karma had a way of revealing itself, this time in the form of Ken Kurogawa, the founder of the Club. You see, back all the way before Season 1, Ken Kurogawa founded the club alongside two siblings of the Crime Boss and future Black Market Director, Luke Herrington. However eventually things went south, and Ken was banished from the Club, and from Luke's personal connections, forced inside of a mental hospital on the opposite side of the island.. This was thought to be the last of him, until now.
Due to a lack of public funding, he was let out, and with a glorious purpose too, to restart his former radical movement, Keikaku Maihemu. As the months drew closer, more and more signs of his return became imminent, Driver grew wary of the potential threat, and threat he would face, oh yes.
The day had come, the beginning of the tournament, it was a tournament subtitled, "Double Battles!", as opponents would fight i
Driver had requested heavy support from the contractees for this tournament, resulting in maximum security for this opening, guarding the location like a hawk.
A messenger would be sent by Keikaku, a hired-gun from the Yamaguchi-Gumi Yakuza called Tadanobu Ohmori, who humbly requested that Driver surrender, which was met short of a laugh, Tadanobu, who knew Driver from decades prior pleaded, this did not need to happen, whatever they had planned, but this was to no avail..
The tournament began, the crowd with much anticipation and excitement, eagerly awaiting the first fight. The Announcer's voice booming loudly, it was to be a fight between fight between Team 1: Gin Hatake and "KUSHO" of Fight Club against Team 3: Kōdō Senjutsu, and Yin of The Forelli Mafia.
Gin Hatake was a renowned fighter at this point, securing a second place title twice in a row, he was tall and muscular and had no
Gin Hatake and "KUSHO" worked together seamlessly, their movements synchronized as they battled Kōdō Senjutsu and Yin. The four fighters traded blows, their strikes and counterstrike's ringing out through the arena, meanwhile a conflict was brewing at the entrance of the club.
At the entrance of the club, sat Tadanobu Ohmori and Ken Kurogawa, alone, without an army of any sort. A second request was made, this time, for the two to fight in the club, Driver would have no chance to deny the request as Ohmori, who had a bomb strapped to his chest that would presumably blow everyone up if he let go of a trigger connected to his pinky finger. With the threat of the bomb looming over everyone's head, Ken and Tadanobu were let into the club.
As the match began, the tension in the club was overflowing. But just as the two combatants were about to engage in battle, the club was alerted to a potential police raid. Everyone began to run, and chaos erupted throughout the club, to the disgruntlement of Ken and oddly enough Driver also.
Less than an hour after the false raid, a request was sent to Ken Kurogawa over the Black Market broadcast, requesting a fight on Ken's terms... Whoever wins, would win the Club.
The fight was nothing but brutal, Driver despite his old age proved to be an incredible challenge to the nimble and young Ken as he was extremely fast, hitting Ken repeatedly punch after punch, kick after kick.
Ken, who had underestimated Driver's strength, found himself struggling to keep up with his opponent's relentless attacks. Luckily for Ken, he had no moral problems with breaking the rules of the club, pulling out a pocket knife on Driver mid fight.
Driver's experience and skill were still on full display as he weaved in and out of Ken's reach, avoiding the blade with impressive agility. However, Ken's determination was unwavering, and he continued to press forward, narrowly missing Driver with each swing of the knife.
Finally, Ken drew blood. The sight of his own blood seemed to weaken Driver's resolve, and his movements grew slower and less coordinated. Ken took advantage of this opening, pressing his attack with renewed vigor. He landed several blows on Driver, each one causing more blood to flow from the wound.
As the fight dragged on, it became clear that Driver was losing steam. He was growing weaker by the second, his body unable to keep up with the blood loss. Ken could sense his opponent's exhaustion and pushed forward with even greater intensity.
However, due to some luck, or some other worldly force, Driver managed to grab the blade away from him and cartwheeled out of range. Despite his impressive feat, Driver stumbled slightly upon landing, allowing Ken to make a move. However, Driver quickly regained his footing and managed to stay out of Ken's reach.
For a moment, the two men stood there, catching their breath and assessing their options. Ken knew that he was in trouble. He had used a weapon in the fight, which was against the rules of the club, and now feared Driver, who held the knife with anger.
Driver's fury was constant as he yelled incoherently, accusing Ken of breaking into his garden and violating the sacred rules of the club. His metaphorical language was confusing, but his anger was clear and digestible.
Mid sentence however, Driver hurled the blade across the room. The blade embedded itself in a speaker, causing a spark that quickly grew into a flame. The remaining audience watched in horror as the speaker burst into flames, its electrical components sizzling and crackling. The fire q
In a haste, Ken attempted to crawl away from Driver as he slowly walked towards him, Despite his best efforts, Ken was no match for Driver's incoherent anger and raw ability. The old man seemed to be phasing in and out of consciousness as he landed blow after blow on Ken, until Ken finally gave in, surrendering.
"Your ********* Agenda is over, You'll live forever in my Prison,
that's the price paid to those who break into my garden and tarnish it's rules."
Driver looked around the club, trying to find any trace of Ohmori, but the Yamaguchi-Gumi Yakuza man had disappeared without a trace. It was as if he had simply vanished into thin air.
Frustrated and angry, Driver turned his attention to Ken. The defeated fighter was in bad shape, barely conscious and barely able to move, much to similar to himself.
The tournament was over, but the loose threads of the night hanged tightly over the consciousnesses of the Higher-Ups to be tackled another day.
