WHAT YOU WANT TO SUGGEST OR MENTION:

It would be nice if players could request for an item to be modified so that it could be placed like furniture. I am aware that this will take up lot of the modelers' time in general, so I've thought about making this a $3 request on the Roleplay Hub store.

Once you've paid the $3 request to modify ur item, you can specify how you want ur item to look when placed, and you can open the request with /redeem-custom command in SchoolRP discord just like any other request. And you can't request to change someone else's custom position. Also, you have the ability to request a public item to be modified, and making it available for everyone to use as furniture.

HOW WILL THIS BENEFIT THE SERVER/COMMUNITY?:

The request is relatively easy for the modelers to fulfill, and it only require a simple rotation and make it placeable in-game. My suggestion is to make it possible for items to be a placeable furniture, like in the images below.

I am not good with photoshop, but here some examples of what I mean.




Sure, there will be some bugs and cons. For example, if the item is an instrument and you tried to play it while in ur apartment, it will be placed instead, and if you tried to play it outside, you'll end up spamming your chat. But if you use feather client, it won't be a problem. And I have hope that the developers will find a way to fix this issue, or it would be impossible for you to play some instruments inside ur apartment.

The idea is nice, i'm not fan of paying for custom items but for people who likes it yeah why not- Depends if developers can do that. I'm more for +1 either way

buys a custom for 35 bucks, spends 3 dollars to make it into a custom furniture

Additionally, this wont take modellers time as we dont handle configuring furniture models. This will take up the Model coordinators time, which is just one person. If you really want a custom furniture just buy one

-1. Cool idea but I don't think they will enforce it as I belieeevvee it will make the pack bigger. Moreover, it also allows players to get custom furniture for MUCH cheaper. Right now, to obtain custom furniture it is 40 dollars. So yes, very cute but having players add 3 dollars to allow their items to be placed will just make the furniture cheaper. Therefore, I'm sure many players would attempt to use this to their advance to get a custom item ANNND a furniture for a cheaper price.

The price can be increased to 10 dollars per request and the request can have its own rules to prevent people misusing it. My idea is to request ur custom items to be modified so it can be used as furniture.

I don’t want to suggest anything in particular, so feel free to take this in any direction you see fit! But modelers should fr make some public items as furniture for everyone to use :3

I see what you're saying, but not everyone would agree unless prices were changed, but then there's the amount of people who wouldn't bother using their irl money for something that's still buggy and has a chance to disappear.

Though I like the idea of being able to place your custom items down in your apartment and decorate it. I don’t think you should pay an additional 3 dollars for a modeler or staff or whatever to make it so you can place it down. That could become so expensive so fast

As well as as mentioned above, some items that are placed disappear from time to time and it would be annoying for players to spend there oocly money for this to be bugged. They would lose there custom item until it glitched back into existence which wouldn’t be fun

Thank you for your suggestion. However, after careful consideration, we have decided to deny it:

- Custom furniture is meant to be a separate type of custom slot with a different price than normal custom items. Moreover, If we enabled all items to be placed down, the Media Team would have to fix every single model in the pack, as most of them do not have a fixed position in the Item Frame display.​
