How old are you? (Optional):

I'd prefer not to specify, but I am over the age of 18.

What is your time zone?:

Central Time Zone (CT)

Describe your activity on the server:

I would say that I'm extremely active on most days. Although I will be starting my college classes on the 19th, that should not be a hindrance as I only need to physically attend classes for a few, early in the morning hours for 3 days of the week. That said, the majority of my time on the server can be described as largely narrative based. The bulk of it is distributed to roleplaying out the IC management of my gang, Geheimer Verband. Several hours on end- if the day's schedule allows me to- can be spent simply roleplaying with my members from a position of IC authority. The rest is mostly distributed to casual, though oftentimes detailed roleplay with other players; that said, the casual free time I spend on the server can be used instead to manage my shop as well. I'll have more than an ample amount of time to abundantly spend with a shopkeeper tag.

Do you acknowledge that if you are inactive you will be demoted?:

I acknowledge inactivity can result in a loss of my shop and role.

Shop Information

What shop are you applying for?:

Dear Karakura; however, I would like to change the name of "Dear Karakura" to something more personalized to my interests, as well as my character's lore. "Dear Karakura" will remain as a restaurant/bar, but it will take on a new name that references the country of origin and family for my character: “Löwengrube”, which translates to “Lions’ Den” in English! If necessary, I’m willing to also just translate the name of it to “The Lions’ Den”, but seeing as Cosa Nostra is an Italian name, I thought it’d be acceptable to have a German name to sell the appropriate aesthetic. However, as stated before, this is absolutely subject to change.

Why do you want to become a Shopkeeper?:

I have numerous friends who are in possession of the shopkeeper tag as of right now, and numerous friends who have attested to the challenge, and rewards, of receiving the opportunity to roleplay as a shopkeeper. Naturally, my curiosity was piqued relatively early on regarding the subject of the shopkeeper faction. However, up until recently, I had always believed that it was out of the realm of possibility and practicality to ever apply for such a tag. Hence, one must wonder why now, of all times, would I choose to make my very first application for a formal faction tag to be the shopkeeper role. The answer is neither singular in reasoning, nor simple in its intricacies.

The first reason why I would like to own a shop can boil down to an out of character passion of mine: I am absolutely in love with worldbuilding. The city of Karakura is the setting of novels worth of thoroughly detailed lore, ranging from an unfeasibly massive chronicle of mythos, in character subcultures, motivations, locations, and for the subject of this application, shops. One characteristic about Karakura has always stood out to me: the presence of foreign cultures within the bustling island, particularly that of Germany’s. However, outside of a singular event that celebrated European cultures for a day, I have not exactly seen German roots take a strong, long-term foothold in SRP's world. I find this extremely odd, seeing as hundreds, if not thousands of characters on the server are foreigners, not native Karakurans. That being said, I'd like to give the entire server the opportunity to witness and participate in the growing presence of foreign cultures in the island of Karakura; a presence that will remain for longer than just a flash event. I'd like to be able to be a driving force behind Karakura's ever developing worldbuilding, and I frankly believe that the appreciation and faithful depiction of a foreign culture taking root would serve to benefit and refine the detailed setting we all roleplay in. Not to mention, a culture's cuisine is one of the most vital aspects of its character, so naturally a restaurant would be the best way to exult another culture.

Outside of contributing to the cultural aspect of Karakura’s worldbuilding, the businesses present in any roleplay serves to flesh out the in character local economy. As an individual who has seen people struggle financially in-game, I’d like to seize this opportunity to allow the wealth to slowly reach the non-factioned players of Karakura in need of currency. I would also like to consider the idea of creating a worker’s union, which would present a fascinating in-character movement that has not yet been thoroughly delved into to my knowledge. There are, of course, a variety of businesses in Karakura; but to my knowledge, not many of them are in possession of working unions that actually roleplay out the everyday needs of employees. This could result in a widespread movement to advance the way employees roleplay with their employers ICly, and potentially create an ever-encompassing effect on other shops interested in roleplaying with their workers.

Not only would I like to participate in the development of Karakura's worldbuilding, but I'd also like to participate in a wide variety of events. Shopkeepers have a major thing that a lot of players lack: a property that’s widely presentable, and accessible to the public. I am totally, and completely open to hearing out any idea or event that could be used to bring enjoyment to the server in any capacity; whether it be small, such as an in-character singer making a debut for a simple performance, protests or riots, or a wide-scale event that involves a natural disaster of some kind in the shopping district.

Furthermore, I am extremely well acquainted with the management of player-run operations both ICly, and OOCly. Throughout my time in the server, I have helped run a verified gang (Mefisuto) as the second in command and am currently managing the 32 player gang Geheimer Verband. These are not easy tasks, as they require leadership skills, communication, and thorough negotiation to head a successful organization. However, I do believe that my experience managing over thirty players in a leadership position has naturally trained me to manage the employees required to run a restaurant’s shifts. Although gang RP and criminal RP are both extremely different from the shopkeeper faction in conduct, the same principles of management nevertheless apply. Geheimer Verband, in particular, is a mafia that largely revolves around business and the handling of money. Most notably, Geheimer Verband is currently in possession of a protection racket (approved by NoZinth) over a shop. With that in mind, it is evident that I am already aware of how shops are run, as it is my organization that acts as a security contractor and ensures the fair and mutually respectful conduct between its associates and regular staff. In that respect, being given a shop would be a similar leadership position to the one that I already love and enjoy; the difference being that I will be given the chance to reach out to an entirely new separate section of the community outside of gang and criminal roleplay and pursue a similar goal of shared success with the team I assemble to work with me.

In summary, the shopkeeper tag, in the correct hands, has the capacity to provide more than just items through in-character transactions to the server. If I am fortunate enough to be granted the opportunity to ever be given this tag, it would give me the ability to breathe life into the concepts, and ideas that I envision for my personal shop.

What do you plan to do with your shop, and what makes it unique?:

First and foremost, there’s nothing more unique than a restaurant that serves a slice of its homeland’s cuisine, presented in each extraordinary, cultural quirk present in its establishment. “Löwengrube” is precisely that: a cut of Germany’s finest culinary arts. I’d like for my shop to be a shining gem of German culture, setting it aside from the Japanese shops that mostly dominate Karakura. The only restaurant that markets itself off another cultural dish is the Italian Cosa Nostra, and if “Löwengrube” were to be accepted, it’d be an integrated, though distinct mark on the shopping district due to its unmistakable roots. The architecture will stand out compared to the oftentimes Japanese interior designs, giving it an authentic feeling when you walk into the restaurant to dine. Several past and present German architectural concepts will be the core principles for “Löwengrube”, merging old ideas of Germany’s Jugendstil style– also known as Art Nouveau– with the shopping district’s present-day architecture.

However, that isn’t the full extent of what I’d like to make my shop distinguishable from others. I’d rather my restaurant come off as sophisticated and refined; cozy due to the inviting nature of its interior, unmistakable to be of a higher luxury. Whenever someone enters “Löwengrube”, they should feel like they’re about to partake in fine dining. The graceful and respectful atmosphere of “Löwengrube” is absolutely instrumental to its experience, enhanced by the well-dressed waiters and restaurant staff, and further bolstered by the extreme focus on ornate decor.

“Löwengrube” will also include a VIP lounge for any wealthier or exclusive customers who would like to purchase a membership to private, and secluded dining. The VIP lounge will naturally be closed off from the rest of the restaurant, only available to those willing to pay for the higher standard of service entailed by the lounge. Those who are welcomed into the VIP lounge will also receive a discount on any food, alcohol, or beverages ordered; however, the terms for purchasing a membership require a level of loyalty to “Löwengrube” as customers, as well as a monthly renewal of membership. Proof of one’s ability to consistently afford membership is normally required, so it is often the working class of Karakura that find VIP membership accessible.

“Löwengrube” will primarily specialize in culinary tastes pertaining to that of Germany’s cultural and historic dishes. I intend to purchase up to ten custom food items immediately upon acceptance (if I am accepted, that is), all of which will include traditional German food to authenticate the experience of stepping into a German restaurant. However, it will have its fair share of international and local Japanese dishes; a large section of Dear Karakura’s old menu will be integrated, as “Löwengrube” is nonetheless catering to a predominantly Japanese customer base. Not only will traditional German food be included, but I’d also like to expand upon the alcohol of “Dear Karakura”, and the current bar that they are in possession of. Wine and beer are both extremely popular commodities in German culture, so it feels only right that German brewed beer and wine brands be featured as custom items for "Löwengrube".

Further elaborating on the bar that “Dear Karakura” already possesses, beer and wine are both extremely prominent alcoholic beverages in German culture. There are entire festivals held over wine and beer both respectively, and I have every intention to bring these aspects of German culture into SRP. The purchase of at least 10 customs will take place if I am given this shop, as I am extremely serious about this faithful depiction.

Event Ideas:

The wide assortment of events I have in mind delve into the network of routes that a shop can take to interact with the rest of the server, as well as the shop’s German origins. Seeing as I would like to bring German culture into a more prominent role in SRP, I’d like to heavily include national holidays, as well as other celebrations that are traditionally celebrated by the German people. Not to mention, I am also very prominent in the gang roleplay and criminal roleplay communities as the leader of Geheimer Verband; naturally, I’d like to give my mafia a chance to roleplay with my shop. However, make no mistake, I also have every intent of including other gangs in events and points of conflicts for the shop. These events will not just include the restaurant goers, but also KPD, EMS, and the reporter factions due to the wide scale nature of these ideas. Below, a series of event concepts will be detailed pertaining to the aforementioned details. Many of these will mostly pertain to German culture, or holidays celebrated by Germans.

Oktoberfest/October Beer Festival

The Volksfest, or “beer festival”, is one of the most popular celebrations and festivities in all of Germany. Beer is considered a cultural alcoholic beverage in Germany, especially in the southern regions. Despite Oktoberfest itself being a tradition normally celebrated in just Bavaria, the Löwe family’s history can be traced back to Munich. Furthermore, Oktoberfest has extended celebrations across the world, not just within Munich. Therefore, I’d like to have a beer festival that, like Oktoberfest in the real world, lasts from mid to late September, and ends on the first Sunday of October. There is a special catch to this festival though: if the first Sunday of October falls onto the 1st or 2nd day of October, then Oktoberfest is extended into German Unity Day.

This year, Oktoberfest falls on the 21st of September and ends on October 3rd. So, Oktoberfest will not only just be a beer festival for the rest of the community to enjoy, it’ll also be a celebration of German reunification. Any beer purchased from “Löwengrube” will be sold at a 10-20% discount, with regular beer being sold at a 20% discount, and custom beer sold at a 10% discount. The event will also include brass music, mostly playing German folk music that originates from Bavaria.

For the most part, Oktoberfest can be celebrated WITHIN the shop without the assistance of staff or builders. This means that the beer tents and parades of Oktoberfest will most likely not be able to manifest; however, for this small event, I’d also take another tradition of Oktoberfest to apply to my shop: the shift in cuisine. Gingerbread, roasted chicken, and sausages are all extremely prominent dishes during Oktoberfest, and discounts at 10% for these items will be given. Also, specialized menus elaborating on the event of Oktoberfest, as well as listing the discounts given, will be handed out rather than the regular ones.

Weihnachten/Christmas

Most of the English-speaking world knows this event as simply "Christmas"! However, for the purposes of this shop, it would be known as "Weihnachten". Unlike Christmas in the English-speaking world, "Weihnachten" is a 3 daylong celebration that begins on the 24th and often ends on the 26th. "Weihnachten" begins on "Heiligabend", also known as just "Christmas' Eve". Most families for Weihnachten would generally have a special feast at home; however, "Löwengrube" would aim to bring that cozy, joyous feast to its establishment in Karakura. The entire interior of "Löwengrube" will be entirely fitted to match the Christmas spirit, with Christmas trees lit in the corners and lights strung across the vast archways that characterize Art Nouveau architecture.

I would hope to have several Christmas themed customs (which could be renewed for next year's Christmas, too!) specifically for this Christmas event. These customs would include roasted goose, as well as dishes including carp and herring. More specifically, "Gebackener Karpfen" and "Gänsebraten" will be presented as Christmas specialties. The series of the small Christmas event will follow the traditional line of events described prior. Therefore, Christmas Eve, will include a 5% discount on any food featuring the use of potatoes (such as potato dumplings or potato salad), bratwurst (or, literally, grilled sausage), as well as the most German festive beverage: mulled wine, which can be a custom I order for it. If I am unable to spare a custom slot for mulled wine, then regular wine will simply be given the 5% discount. All of these customs will be purchased within a two-month time frame of Christmas itself, giving the modelers a flexible time schedule to complete these.

Live music will also be played, with fully detailed actions for the occasion to set the atmosphere. The presence of cosmetic instruments, as well as placeable furniture instruments (such as piano or the harp) will be featured. Christmas carols will also be sung outside of the restaurant, preferably in /me at a distance to attract more attention to the festivities occurring in "Löwengrube". Caroling is a heavy tradition in "Weihnachten"/Christmas in Germany, so naturally it will also be included in this event.

On the subject of music, a
musical contest for Christmas themed songs (so long as they do not damage the atmosphere of the restaurant) will also be present, which will be advertised through the shop discord. The presence of a judge panel, composed of the restaurant's managers and shopkeeper, will be the deciding factor for the winners. Those who wish to enter the contest can fill out a form, the song they'd like to perform, and have a reserved order in advance to play in during the musical contest. The contest will last for the entirety of the "Weihnachten" celebration, so a three-day period for any contestants to perform during those openings. The top three contestants will be entitled to a month-long VIP membership pass, allowing them to access Löwengrube's exclusive VIP lounge. The number one contender, however, will also be granted a free main course meal (a beverage, main dish, and side dish) that can be renewed once at a time of their choosing.

Ostermontag/Easter Monday

This event is relatively well known in the Western world! It's simply Easter, with similar traditions and similar histories. In celebration of Easter Monday, "Löwengrube" will begin placing and scattering eggs across barrels and chests hidden inside of the shop. These chests and barrels can be hidden behind accessible trap doors, or in tiny nooks between stairs for other people to find. Once the shop opens, contestants will line up outside to participate in the "Easter Monday" event. Everyone will be allowed to enter at the same time, ensuring a fair and even playing ground for those attending the "Easter Monday" contest. The event will ultimately boil down into a contest between the customers, with the reward for the most collected eggs being a framed picture on a spot on a wall of their choosing! This framed picture will be amongst many of those who win one of these yearly contests, cementing their status as a valued customer! Rewards will also be a month-long VIP membership, giving them the opportunity to meet and shake hands with the shopkeeper as well for their photograph.

A Ballroom Walzer/Waltz

Many people are not aware of the waltz’s origin as a Swabian dance, with the term “waltz” being a derivation from the German term “walzer”, which is to “roll or revolve”. This popular dance’s history is oftentimes forgotten by the vast majority of people, many of whom have perhaps studied or even practiced the waltz, but not read any material regarding its rich background themselves.

For this event, a level of renovation may be necessary to be conducted in advance; however, ideally, there will be enough space in the restaurant to cater to a dance floor and ballroom-esque decor on the second level. The night will also be characterized by a 15% discount on wine, and the presence of classical music made by German composers. The environment of my restaurant will also become considerably darker, mostly illuminated by candlelight or dim, moody lighting to set the calm, serene atmosphere of the waltz. The waltz event will largely appeal to couples, so more than likely, this will take place in February on Valentine's Day. A romantic dinner paired with an even more romantic, traditional dance would be perfect to mark the occasion.

What will you sell in your shop?:

The menu of "Dear Karakura" will be drawn from heavily, mostly to still appeal to the predominantly Japanese population of Karakura. However, as previously stated, the promise of German cuisine was made, and so it is German cuisine that will be served on a silver platter to the customers Below, a menu of the current standing items can be found. Further past that, are the customs that I intend to purchase immediately if I am gifted the role of shopkeeper. These customs, of course, will all be strictly for the shopkeeper tag, and hopefully added to the restock and menu as soon as feasibly possible.

Custom Food Ideas

These ideas will be the real highlight of my shop. Due to the limitations of the application's attachment files, I am not able to provide pictures to use as custom references in the application. However, there are a wide variety of dishes that would be amazing to receive the opportunity to bring into Karakura. Each of these dishes hold their own value as a cultural dish, and ideally these will be able to be sold in my shop within a month.

Bratwurst (Grilled Sausage)

Brezlen (Pretzel!)

Kartoffelsalat (Potato Salad)

Custom Löwe Family Beer Mug!

How many employees do you plan to have?:

I plan to have a total of twenty-three employees, myself included. The roster and structure of the employee roster will be relatively simple though efficient, keeping a rather standard manner of organization. However, where our rosters will differ is the featuring of security contractors. Below, a detailed roster can be found detailing the finer points of the employee roster.

Shopkeeper 1/1

This role isn't difficult to understand. I will be, of course, the only shopkeeper that will fill this position. The fulfillment of this role is nothing to scoff at; the management of my employees, restock, and finances will all fall under me. This mantle, however, will be worn with as much vigor and inspiration as I can feasibly manage. I intend to record, and log every opening thoroughly via google spreadsheet, competently mapping out each expense and profit reaped from the shop itself. Any events that take place will ultimately be planned by me primarily, and the involvement of staff will also fall upon me. The IC leadership of the shop will also fall onto this role, and anything occurring must have the holder's say in it to be finalized.

Managers 2/2

Managers are in charge of helping monitor the good conduct of the employees and security contractees; as well as the satisfaction of the customers. Managers are able to also run the shop during an opening and keep everything afloat if the shopkeeper were to be temporarily busy due to unpreventable circumstances. However, this will not happen often, and managers as a whole ultimately act as the eyes, and ears of the shopkeeper when they cannot be present everywhere in the restaurant at once. Managers are also consulted with important financial decisions, as well as with the hiring of new employees.

Waiters/Waitresses 0/10

Waiters and waitresses are the backbone of the employee roster. These individuals ensure the delivery of the customers' food, as well as the assured quality of "Löwengrube's" services. They will remain formally dressed at all times and follow the employee code of conduct without question. Waiters/waitresses are also given the task of working the bar at the establishment, providing drinks to those old enough to legally purchase alcohol. Generally, waiters and waitresses are expected to keep the customer satisfied. Therefore, their role in "Löwengrube" is never taken for granted. After all, what restaurant claims itself to be refined dining without quality service?

Musicians 0/4

These individuals are in charge of bringing true class to "Löwengrube" as entertainment services. Generally, they will play classical music, particularly Beethoven, Bach, Handel, and other such German composers who have left a permanent mark on the legacy of German classical music. These musicians will detail rp each of their performances, primarily being called for events or special occasions for their exquisite musical performances. The roles of musicians will be divided between a strings, keys, brass, and woodwind; each coming together to create a beautiful composition for "Löwengrube" customers to enjoy while dining.

Security Contractees 0/6

These contractees will largely be composed of those willing to conduct business with "Löwengrube". Their services will be entirely legal, and their conduct will be strictly managed between the two managers and shopkeepers. A violation or breach of contract from those serving under a signed agreement will be met with punishment, specifically the party contracting their security services. Security contractees are to always operate within the confines of Karakura Law, and violation of Karakura Law could result in the authorities being called. Security contractees are to only conduct themselves passively, only involving themselves in disputes when their services are invoked.

Employee Code of Conduct?:

The employee code of conduct seems simple, based around the common standards of respect or decency. However, the rules for the employees are largely based around Heinrich's origins as an ex-associate within a German mafia, deriving from the strict guidelines set out for many of its associates; as well as the strict principles of the Löwe family’s morals. Violation of the code of conduct, especially by senior employees, is always addressed through IC means, and often handled rather harshly through lecture, demotion, or even the removal from the employee roster.
  1. Conduct yourself with the utmost respect for your co-workers, customers, and the establishment you are working for. You are to refer to them as their formal title (ma’am, sir, or any title that they request), regardless of their age or background.
  1. Always dress with the level of respect necessary to work in a prestigious establishment; failure to meet the restaurant’s dress code will result in being sent home. As a respectable establishment, “Löwengrube” will not tolerate deviations from its sophisticated image.
  1. If a customer raises severe dissatisfaction with your service, and demands to speak to a manager, accept the criticism with grace, and notify a senior staff member of the complaint directly. If the complaint is ruled to be valid by the shop owner, a verdict will be given after your shift is over. However, arguing or hostility towards the customer shall not be tolerated under any circumstance.
  1. Prioritize the comfort and needs of the customer; when a customer walks into “Löwengrube”, they are to conduct no labor themselves aside from enjoying their courses. It is your duty, and assigned responsibility to ensure they leave “Löwengrube” satisfied.
  1. Respect the cultures and customary habits of co-workers and customers alike. The disrespect of another culture or tradition shall not be tolerated under any circumstances, even if the establishment you are working for is German.
  1. Always bow before a customer when you greet them, and when you depart from them after taking their order. While this may not be customary in Germany, it is customary and thus mandatory in Japan, the place of operation for “Löwengrube”.
  1. Only a manager or the shop owner has the right or power to order the removal of a customer for disruptive behavior. Once this verdict has been given, only security is permitted to escort the disruptive customer out. If the customer fails to comply, then the next course of action is to contact the Karakura Police Department for the appropriate response.

Customer Code of Conduct?:

The customer code of conduct is equally as high standard as the employee code of conduct. While “Löwengrube” holds customers to the respectful atmosphere that it wishes to create, the leniency of the code is naturally more flexible. Generally, it simply asks that customers behave with the level of respect that the “Löwengrube” staff request of you.
  1. Please do not yell, shout, or unnecessarily raise your voice whilst dining at “Löwengrube” without reason. This could be a disturbance to your fellow customers, as well as the staff that serve you. If the requirement of a waiter’s immediate service arises, it is strongly recommended to politely raise one’s index finger, or wave over an employee.
  1. Once you have entered “Löwengrube”, please allow the employee staff to take care of your needs, so that they can operate efficiently and coordinate effectively together. The waiters are present in “Löwengrube” to cater to your every need and shall relieve you of all duties once seated.
  1. Please try to avoid distracting members of the security unnecessarily; if an issue arises in the restaurant that requires security, notify them calmly, but only if it requires their assistance.
  1. Please do not cause unnecessary disruption to fellow customers or staff, and cease any problematic behavior if requested; if disruption is too severe despite polite requests to cease, then security will escort you out.
  1. You are entitled to quality, refined service in “Löwengrube”. If a complaint with employee conduct or the services provided arises, please forward it to a member of “Löwengrube” staff, so it may be brought to the attention of a senior worker.
Potential Exterior References:

This one is a bit tricky! A lot of the more refined German restaurants in the world have either have a sleek modernistic setting, or a medieval-like aesthetic that would not blend well with Karakura. Hence, I chose the more traditional style of architecture to frame as the exterior of the shop. While the grand scale of this aesthetic may not be possible to replicate with a 10(?) block high exterior frame to work with, a general "vibe" can be deduced from the architecture displayed here. Necessary changes to the color palette to ensure its smooth blend into Karakura's shopping district can also be made, allowing it to compliment the environment surrounding it.

Interior References:

The interior designs of "Löwengrube" can be traced back to the German architecture style of "Art Nouveau", characterized by a wide array of leaping arches and circular designs. The heavy prominence of pillars allowing for an overall absence of walls, and hence large amount of open space, is a trait that is featured heavily in a large bulk of these references. The degree of maneuverability, lack of sharp corners and barriers featured creates a fascinating environment, but above all else an efficient one for waiters/waitresses to tread through. A number of these designs can unfortunately not be replicated in the blocky nature of Minecraft; however, the general aesthetic and design format is something I find extremely fascinating. Principles of the "Art Nouveau" style of architecture can hopefully still be applied to Minecraft, and integrated seamlessly to create an interesting dining environment for others to enjoy.

IC Applicant Information

Name:

Heinrich Walzer Löwe

Gender:

Male, He/His/Him

Age:

As of right now, Heinrich is only a grade 12 student at the age of 18. If accepted, his lore will be altered to be aged at 28.

Credentials:

Heinrich is in possession of a four-year bachelor's degree in the culinary arts, minoring in business administration.

Origins of Heinrich and Löwengrube:

Heinrich Walzer Löwe is the eldest son of Ilina Löwe, current head of the Löwe family. As the son of the head of the Löwe family, Heinrich is the natural inheritor of Ilina's currently running projects in Karakura. The Löwe family has long standing ties to overworld, and underworld businesses; many of which have stemmed from the ringvereine of the 1920s during the Weimar Republic, to the contemporary Geheimer Verband of present day Karakura. Born in Munich, Germany, Heinrich grew up with an affinity for all things pertaining to cooking. While Ilina and other members of the Löwe family operated under the guise of entrepreneurs and philanthropists, Heinrich kept his interests primarily focused on one day opening a legitimate business to advance the reputation of the Löwe family. In the past, the Löwe family enjoyed relative comfort in Bavaria, historically being the de-facto regional hegemons of crime since the 1920s. Had this period of financial success continued in the base of their operations in Munich, Heinrich may have very well succeeded in one day opening a restaurant of his own.

However, economic troubles, partially caused by the decline of German ran-syndicates past the 1990s, caused for the steady and gradual decline of the Löwe family's prosperity in Bavaria. Consequently, the Löwe family began a mass exodus to establish a foothold in Japan, locating in Karakura amidst the hostile power vacuums of the island's climate. Eventually, this manifested in the formation of the Geheimer Verband; although, this was not the end of the Löwe family's interests. The Löwe family also moved into the electronics industry within the business park, coming into possession of a shop with the late arrival of Ivonne Löwe. For the most part, the Löwe family had successfully immigrated to Karakura, including Heinrich. However, Heinrich remained unsatisfied with his dreams never being fulfilled. Seeing as he had no direct involvement in crime in Karakura, Heinrich made the decision to pursue a bachelor's degree in culinary arts in Germany. Returning to Munich for a staggering 9 years, Heinrich himself entered an apprenticeship to gain more experience as a chef after obtaining his bachelor's. Without the funding of his family, Heinrich was unable to create and open a restaurant of his own from scratch; therefore, he settled for returning to Karakura to pursue his interests.

Heinrich, though separated from his homeland, worked vigorously to obtain the property necessary to open his dream restaurant. With the financial aid of the Löwe's, and the blessing of his mother, he was able to achieve his business endeavors by purchasing the current property being applied for. He did so with a wide smile on his face, hoping to offer a presentable image for his family's name. Dedicated wholeheartedly to the Löwe family's endeavors, Heinrich affectionately named his restaurant "Löwengrube", which, in all respects, was as much of a tribute to the Löwe family as it was to his beloved past from his true home.

Additional notes about your application:

I am extremely flexible with all of my ideas. I am not exactly sure what my limits for the event ideas exactly are; however, rest assured, they will certainly be well within the confines of shopkeeper roleplay, and what staff allow. Anything that takes place will absolutely be roleplay and narrative based, with no corners cut nor with any missing beats regarding IC motive or an overarching plot. At the end of the day, I'd like to tell a story with my shop: which is the upwards mobility of the Löwe family and Heinrich Walzer Löwe, as well as the phenomenon German culture taking roots in Karakura in the form of Löwengrube. Changes to this narrative, if need be, can always be made! Of course, I'm also more than willing to use the English translation, which is "Lion's Den"! I also apologize if the prominence of German words was an issue while reading over this application, and kee[ in mind that they are subject to change when applied.
