Introduction

Why don't we build jobs without applications like this to give newer players a chance to prove themselves that they can be in a faction. Basically, like a part-time job, basically anybody 16+ can join these jobs if they need to prove themselves that they can be in a faction for long periods of time. Though it would be kinda like shop jobs, but the pay is worse lets say like the new players get like 10k per day for doing these jobs. It's not enough to break the economy too much, and the job won't be too overpowered.

Places proposed

WC Whoppers
Basically, a mcdonalds inspired location but diffrent so srp doesnt get sued

Buymart
Walmart-inspired location, but with its own unique logo
Kra Shipping
Basically, a depot faction, but instead of it being turf related its a position

My Recommendation
Those are just ideas; you can basically build anything. What I recommend is to replace these with the NPC stores, basically any player 16+ can work there at any time without an application for 10k a day after clocking in for a certain amount of time, but frankly enough, building new places like these would be better and more unique

Pros
Newer players and others who need to prove that they can be comfortable in a workplace will be able to prove themselves

Not likely to break the economy.

Provide everyone with in-character jobs for roleplay purposes, even if it isnt faction related.

Gives people a chance to get a job if all the positions are full on the server, or they need to prove themselves first to join a certain faction.

Diversifies income for those who can't get into factions as easily as others and gives them another chance to prove themselves in character and out of character.

Cons

It'll likely be super buggy for the first few weeks.

could be exploited if there isn't a clock-in and clock-out system to prevent this, they need to be onduty for a certain amount of time

Conclusion
There are too many faction jobs or applications. The only way unemployed people get money is through fishing or auction if they can't find a way to get in, so I believe there should be a diversification of income like this. It'll be fun for everyone if there were jobs like this to have a way to prove yourself to factions. If you work enough hours or hold the position for long enough, it could be taken accounted for incharacter as job experience.

Note
It'll likely be a sub-branch of the store's faction that includes every player 16+ for people to have a job incharacter and potentially work at better stores or factions in the future after gaining experience and applying to factions.

How will this benefit the server and community?:
It will give people a chance to prove themselves in character and out of character that they can do work inside a faction.

It'll diversify income

basically act as default factions, although not really related to the city government or the big factions, it would be default jobs for players needed to prove themselves to the bigger and better factions

It'll act as real-life teenage jobs outside of the shopkeeping faction. Instead, it'll be like a sub-branch of the shopkeeping faction that includes every player 16+ and abides by the Karakura constitution.

I definitely see the pros and cons here

+1/-1

Personally, I believe fishing and utilizing the auction house is a right of passage for players outside of factions to earn money. I like the idea of coming up with other ways for newer players to earn an income, however I feel like adding plug-in based work spaces would take away from the incentive to join a faction and further immerse yourself in the community. I believe that having the incentive to work a faction job to earn money is rather realistic and allows for players to again get more involved in the community.

Besides, factions aren’t the only way to earn money. Yes fishing and the auction are big ones, but there’s so many more. Many tailoring services offer income for players through tailoring, building, creating art, and writing. Shops also often open applications that allow for players outside of factions to hold a job on the server without the need for a forum based application.

If you’re involved in the community, I don’t believe it’s hard to find a way to make a reputable income. That’s just my take though!

To stop having bad reputation you got to stop getting warned, even if you get a shop in these business' if you still get warned they're useless. These shops will complicate things as you mentioned in the cons. Also what do you do when 100+ players want to join these 'default factions'?

This is not a horrible idea, but I feel like if this does get implemented, all the greenies will run a mcdonalds. WHICH IS NOT BAD.

I feel like there isnt that much room on the server for this idea, plus too many unemployed people.

Fish for the money my guy.
