Describe your activity on the server:

I’m a fairly new player, starting back in late 2022, but besides that I’ve been able to participate in sports, crime, and town events and have actually grown a love for roleplay and my expereince with it.

Overall
I’d give my activity a 10/10, since I’m on for most of the day even if my schedule isn’t as clear. I joined the server in late august of 2022 and over a year later I’ve become one of the most renowned gangrper’s even becoming the 3rd in command of valhalla and now I’m finding myself on a sports team. I’ve tried applying for reporter and professor and to be honest, I don’t think they fit me as much as EMS does. Along with that I’ve opened profiles in a few tailoring servers, experienced denial because of a reputation that I’m still improving to this day.

What is your timezone?:

What experiences do you have with roleplay?:

When I first joined this server, which was my first general roleplay server EVER. I kept myself to a small group of friends, and not even expanding my horizons. And then I discovered CrimeRP and GangRP which I still participate in today, but not as much.

Now that I’ve become somewhat an experienced player, I’ve been a part of many events, roleplays and just now being selected to join and rp with the highschool volleyball team that Karakura has. Even though I’ve been banned multiple times for some of the worst things, I’ve been attempting to bring my reputation among everyone back to what it was. But, I don’t think I’ve really experienced roleplay in the way I want to, which is why I’m applying for EMS. I want to experience a new type of roleplay and improve myself.

What is your motivation for applying?

Like I stated above, I want to better myself as a person and experience a type of roleplay that I never had experienced before. A lot of my friends that play SRP are doctors, including atjayy, lobsterdog, and guttedvalentine. They’ve told me the experiences that they’ve had within EMS and have genuinely enjoyed it and convinced me to finally apply for this faction, which I enjoy myself. Everytime I log on, I find myself hanging around the hospital and just enjoying myself whilst talking and roleplaying with hospital workers.

Which role are you applying for?
(Doctor or Psychiatrist):

Doctor

What knowledge do you have of Hospital Work?

Ranks:

DIRECTOR
You guessed it. . . the brains behind the entire hospital. They’re an expert in everything you could imagine hospital work contains. They’re the backbone of the staff, and do their best to keep the hospital a safe environment for the staff and patients. Though, they’re always in their office, rare to be seen out and about.
CLINICAL MANAGER
The director's “Right Hand”. This guy is seen more about the hospital and you can always catch a glimpse of them. Unlike. . . most workers, this guy has the skill of doing any procedure and understands the protocol for every situation. Most of the time, they have all the certification they need and are also responsible for accepting residents into the hospital! Super great of them.
CLINICAL LEAD
(Psychiatrist, Doctor, Surgeon)
The lead of a specific department, whether it be a psychiatrist, doctor, or surgeon. They’re a bit under the Clinical Manager, yet still important when it comes to exams, procedures, protocols, etc.
HEAD OF DEPT.
(Psychiatrist, Doctor, Surgeon)
Great job, you made it to the top! Now you get to watch over your department as the Head. Directly under the Clinical Lead, but still making sure everything goes smoothly within their department. They’re the boss around there! Well, not really, but still respected among everyone.
SENIOR
(Psychiatrist, Doctor, Surgeon)
They’re below the Head of Department, yet still not a higherup in terms of hospital rankings. They always wear a little armband signifying that they’ve been at their position for a long time. But I assure you, once a position to become Head of their Department, they have the option to run for that position!
ATTENDING
(Psychiatrist, Doctor, Surgeon)
Welp, ya graduated from being an official psychiatrist, doctor, or surgeon. But now you have the ability to train residents of your department!
OFFICIAL
(Psychiatrist, Doctor, Surgeon)
Freshly graduated trainees, our favorites! After passing the exams, residents are now known as. . . Official Hospital Workers! Yay!!! Aside from that, they’re not required to work THAT much under higherup supervision, unless y’know they were asked to. They’re able to prescribe medication, crutches, and any essential needs that a patient needs.
RESIDENTS
(Psychiatrist, Doctor, Surgeon)
You’ve been accepted! Congratulations, now you have to endure the trainings, exams, and not being able to go off-duty. To become an official hospital worker, like above, Residents need to finish all their training and then pass the exams! Woo-hoo?!?!

Equipment
Radio
One of the most important pieces of equipment that a hospital worker can have. They’re
Breathalyzer
Handheld device that measures a person’s BAC (Blood Alcohol Content) by ****yzing their breath. This helps to identify if someone is drunk or not.
Pepper Spray
Need to defend yourself? Well, meet your new best friend, the PEPPER SPRAY!!! This bad boy can neutralize anyone that tries to hurt you or your co-workers.
Gas Mask
Ever been in a toxic environment more than your past relationship? Well, this is for all the toxic gasses that come your way! Snap this guy around your head and let the purifiers in the mask stabilize your air.
Syringe
This glass tube with a needle can hold multiple medications and such in it, most workers hold mido in it to protect themselves from those nasty gang members!
Medkit
Usually a metal box that holds bandages, syringes, tape, padding, glue, large triangular bandages that can be used as slings. Just all around good to have on you.
Hospital ID
A handy thing to have if someone is calling you a fraud for working at the hospital. It usually has your name, EMS number, and a photo of you. It really just proves that you work there.
Clipboard
Run of the mill clipboard, probably just helps you write down stuff during psychiatric and physical evaluations.
Surgical Headlamp
Useful for both doctors and surgeons to have. Produces a light at the top of their head when it’s turned on. Useful for seeing where your organs are during surgeries.

Departments

Psychiatrists
Wha-Bam! Not a the****** at your service! These guys are responsible for your psychiatric evaluations, prescribing you medications to hopefully help you subside your mental illnesses, what a joy to have around?! Am I right? Anywho, they don’t really mess with all the physical injuries, not because they don’t want to, because they’re not qualified to do so! So next time you see one, make sure it’s not because you’re hurt physically.
Doctors
Here’s another department for ya! Doctors, my favorite! They’re very similar to the surgeons, but don’t mistake them for anything else! They can mend broken, fractured, or even shattered bones as well as tend to your cuts, wounds, abrasions and even put you through physical evaluations. If you have any physical problems, you should most definitely go to them.
Surgeons
And finally, your surgeons! Probably the most hard-working of the departments. These guys are similar to the doctors, except they can’t really physically evaluate you. They can mend broken bones, work on your surgeries. The one thing they can do is consult you about prosthetic limbs, which everyone loves! Right?

Do you acknowledge that you’re subject to being demoted at any given time if accepted?

I’m perfectly alright with being demoted at any time.

Do you acknowledge that by applying for this role, you agree to be 100% dedicated to the Hospital Staff role?

I agree to being 100% dedicated to this faction.

Do you acknowledge that if training is held whilst you are online, you are expected to attend or you will be punished?

I understand this rule.

Do you acknowledge that you are NOT to take things OOCly when dealing with training & situations?

I understand this rule.

Backstory (100+ Words)

Monday, July 21, 1992
3:02 A.M.

Trondheim, Norway

Elias Kjellberg, a man born into a wealthy family of doctors originating from Trondheim, Norway. A city on water is essentially what it was, beautiful in most regards except for the guarantee of animal life. From a young age, Elias took notice of how many strays and uncared for creatures lurked within the streets; many finding themselves injured due to the steep ramps, or accidentally falling into the Nidelva river. With nothing else to do, and a lot of care for other beings outside himself, Elias took it upon himself to begin caring for these thrown away animals as best as he could manage alone. Studying whatever books laid around in his family home so he could better grasp the extent of a body.

Soon, these once every few week ventures started to become more frequent. Almost a daily occurrence; to the point where at the age of 13, it was his trademark in the city. A year later, 14 years of age, Elias took it upon himself to enlist in a veterinary camp. Learning more in depth about the ways to care for a sick animal, bend any broken bones, the process for surgical stitching, and the likes.

Elias, freshly graduating from highschool, was urged by his parents to pursue a degree in anything related to becoming a doctor. He’d give in. . . his sweet parents that always treated him with kindness and gave him what he wanted sent him away, well- peer pressured him. He traveled abroad, gaining a bachelor’s degree in pharmacology and a master’s degree in anatomy. Two perfect things to have when becoming a doctor, his dad said. He returned back to Norway, greeted by all his family.

He lived a steady life, having a stable job that gave him good income. But at 25, he pursued the first steps of his real passion. Elias started working at a local veterinary clinic, where he began as a simple nurse. I know, anti-climatic. And then suddenly. . . he just quit, moved towns and applied for a nursing position at a real hospital, just like his parents wanted him to. At this point he was still studying to be a doctor.

Elias grew quite bored of working in Norway, he wanted something new, so at the age of 32. . . he moved! Saved up some money, and moved to the bustling, crime-filled place that people called Karakura, Japan. . What will happen now?

SECTION 2: MEDICAL HISTORY
What is your character’s medical speciality? Why did they choose this focus?
(Ensure this is appropriate to the position you have chosen)

Elias is a specialist in mending bone breaks, shatters, and fractures. He learned this from his time working at a veterinary clinic during his mid-20’s. He mostly works on bones due to many fractures, breaks, and shatters he experienced as a kid. He was always dislocating different parts of his body doing stupid things, not the brightest kid am I right? He’s always been fascinated with just fixing bones, might have something to do with the sounds. Though whenever he does help someone out, he always feels accomplished, fulfilled and successful.
What medical residencies did your character take after medical school?

I’ve mentioned this somewhere below, if you wanna read just a summary about it.

Elias spent 5 years as a Doctor Resident at Sørlandet Hospital Flekkefjord, in Norway. He was one of the quickest responder’s on the team, though he mostly worked in the ER dealing with bones, like he was used to. He was the hole that everyone needed in there but he got. . . tired of it, so he moved to Karakura.

Does your character have any work experience in medical positions?

After his graduation from Medical school, he’d shortly move on to the positions listed down below.

Sørlandet Hospital Flekkefjord
(Doctor Resident)
Elias spent 5 years as a Doctor Resident like stated above, he mostly worked on bone breaks, fractures, and shatters. Which was his favorite line of work.
AniCura Animal Hospital Oslo
(Veterinary Cliticalist)
Elias’s first, real job after Medical School. He spent 3 years as a Veterinary Cliticalist, spending his time in the ER where most cliticalists spend their time. He’d stand there helping surgeons with said surgeries.

Has your character completed any additional schooling?

Elias hasn’t completed any additional schooling at this point, He jumped into working as soon as he completed medical school. He sees himself taking time off work and seeking a higher education so he can get better positions.

SECTION 3: CHARACTER KNOWLEDGE
Describe your character; how do they look, what makes them unique?

Elias looks like any normal scary dude. He’d stand at 6’8, and have a stoic look on his face at all times. Typical old scary guy look, right? But, the fact was, he had blonde hair that he bleached at a younger age and just. . . kept it like that. His hair was most likely dead. Elias’s body carried ruins of healthy bones. You could probably see the deformities in his body if you looked at all the scars he had from surgery. Most of the time, the bones looked like they were about to stick out of him if he breathed a certain way.

How does your character act on and off duty?

ON DUTY
Elias is usually always stumbling around somewhere in the front lobby of the hospital, but don’t mistake him for being clumsy. He’s one of the most articulate men when it comes to actually helping patients, and responding to their needs. Besides that, he’ll usually greet you with a simple “Hello!” in his now spoken language.

OFF DUTY
Imagine a laid-back guy, sitting on a couch and probably watching a movie. That isn’t Elias when he’s off-duty. He’s probably out doing some outdoor activity, whether it be climbing trees, hills, mountains even. He lives for it all. If he’s not doing anything outdoors, he’s probably inside, studying for this higher education he always yearns for.

Does your character function better on their own or with others?

Elias definitely functions better with others, he likes meeting new people and just having fun in general. At work, he’s always chatting up a conversation with someone, whether it be patients or other staff. In turn, this also helps him keep patients and himself calm. He feels as if talking to patients and staff whilst doing something makes it more enjoyable and calming to do.

What plans does your character have for the future?

Elias. . . wants to get married, like any other adult. He doesn’t want a boring, married, retired life though. He wants to marry someone that is just like him. He wants someone that’ll go outdoors and climb with him and just have fun. In reality, Elias is like a little kid and needs to grow up, but maybe that’s a good thing. . . Other than that, he just wants to be financially stable like any other normal person.

How is your character perceived by others? How does it contrast with their perception of themself?

Because of Elias’s sheer size, he’d be perceived as a scary, big doctor to everyone else. Along with the numerous scars he has on his body from the countless surgeries that his broken bones as a kid provided him with. But that couldn’t be farther than the truth. Elias believes himself to be one of the nicest people in the town. He’d always look after stray animals, even keeping them out of the rain, along with anyone who needed his help.
