Describe your character:
Kiyoshi is a 26 year old Japanese male, who’s height is 6”8 has and he has matte black hair when u look in it all u can see is black no shine just nothing, he has hazel eyes with a bit of blue in it even though it’s hard to see people still compliment it. As a kid he always wanted a tattoo but his friends always stopped him from doing it. Kiyoshi is a really active and energetic person who loves going to school. Some people don’t know this about him, but he was actually a professional basketball player. Even though he wasn’t famous he still had alot of fun. This is one of the reasons he loves sports.
Kiyoshi is a caring person, he loves to help when someone is feeling down or if they just have some problems with stuff, he is a patient and polite person but once you get to know him more and more you will find out he has a little quirk, this quirk is tat he talks to plants or plushies thinking they have real personalities, this isn’t his only quirk though…one of his other quirks is that he never swears instead of swearing he uses food to swear, like “Holy macaroni” or “Son of a biscuit!” he also likes making food puns like "Water we doing today?" which means "What are we doing today?"
One of Kiyoshi’s dreams was to become a shopkeeper, but this dream stopped when he went to college. Ever since he started going to college he studied 7/7 to maybe one day become a principal, so who knows with being a teacher for a few years, this dream could come true.
What is your character's outlook on students and co-workers?:
Kiyoshi believes everyone deserves respect, regardless if they’re disruptive or cause a lot of chaos, he knows theres always a reason for this behaviour. Kiyoshi always loves helping kids in need and spending time with them, this is all because he had a lot of cousins growing up. Whenever he talks to his students, he likes to know if his students have suggestions or tips on how to improve his classes.
The students aren’t the only ones Kiyoshi care about, he really admires his colleagues. Kiyoshi loves working in a team this is all because of him being a hockey player, when he did hockey he had to be able to work in a team at first he wasn’t really good at it but now he is. He loves having conversations with his colleagues, but sometimes he gets too personal which makes people uncomfortable but he is trying to work on this though.
What is your character's motivation for teaching?:
His main reason on wanting to become a teacher is his family, there are multiple people in his family that are also teachers which is where he got his inspiration from, Kiyoshi’s favourite subject in his school career was Physical Education, he once tried out for the track team because he loved running but sadly wasnt chosen to join the team this didnt stop him from going to the track everyday to run. In his free time he loves to go hangout with his friends and teach them how to play some sports and he noticed he was pretty good at teaching sports which made him want to go get a degree in education so he can go teach physical education.

A student in class is struggling to understand the content, what would your character do?:
While Kiyoshi is hosting his class and sees a student struggling, he would give the other students a little task or just go up to the student and ask them if they want to talk later after class. If the student agreed to talk, he would tell them he saw them struggling and ask them if he can give more information about the subject and what part they were struggling on, all this with no disruption from their other classmates If they did continue to have trouble with it after kiyoshi would recommend them to find a tutor so they can help them so they won’t fall behind in his class. He would also encourage them to ask more questions instead of being silent during class and never answering the questions asked.
If the subject was about something physical, he would demonstrate how to do the task and ask them to do it with him so he could see what they were doing wrong. He would also tell them where the school GYM is so they can always train during free periods and after school. If they still don’t know it after all that he would reassure them that they can always ask another teacher to call them using the radio, so he can help them again
/me walks around the class while teaching and sees a student struggling. he walks towards the student and asks them a question “Hey, I noticed you’re struggling with the information I’m teaching, is it possible for us to talk after class so I can give more information?” He smiles at the student waiting for an answer.
/me friendly greets the student with a smile and asks, “So, as you know, I’ve noticed you were struggling with the subject but may I know which part you didn’t understand? Is it a physical task or something I explained? I would be happy to give more detailed information about the material so you don’t understand, and if that doesn’t work, I would suggest getting a tutor but ofcourse if its abou physical task then you can always go to the GYM and also ask another faculty member to call me using the radio so I can explain it to you”
A student is continuously being disruptive in class, talking out of turn, and making jokes with classmates. What would your character do?:
When a student begins disrupting class, Kiyoshi he would calmly ask them to stop disrupting so the other students can focus. He would also ask them what is causing the behaviour since he knows there’s always a reason for it. If they continued this behaviour after they have talked with Kiyoshi and were asked to stop, he would start using a warning system. If they’re on their third warning, Kiyoshi would give them detention. If even that failed, Kiyoshi will have to do something he doesn’t like to do, which is send them to the SLT, he would let SLT know beforehand so they don’t just run off and avoid the punishment. His goal in handling it this way would be to encourage the student to reflect on their choices and adjust their behavior moving forward.

Simon Says Fitness Challenge
This is just like the classic game we all know: Simon says. In this version Kiyoshi will be yelling out some physical commands they have to follow like “Simon says do 5 pushups!’’ if they don’t do what was said they fail and have to sit down but if he says “do 5 pushups” and they do it they also fail since Kiyoshi never said simon says, the last one standing will get a sticker or something else.

Before the class starts Kiyoshi will decide a sport that they are going to play and he will teach some stuff about it and will state the rules, once all of this is done they will go outside to a court for example, volleyball but before playing they all have to stretch, since we don’t want any injuries!
