Previous bans:

I've only had 2 bans. My first ban was way back in May of 2022. The ban was for using an auto clicker in the hub and it was a 2-week ban. My second ban was more recent which was in October of 2022. The ban was for discussion of sensitive topics and I was banned for 2 weeks. Though my appeal got accepted after the first week and I was unbanned
This is the link to my ban appeal if you would like to check it out:

Describe your activity on the server:

I would say I am extremely active on the server. I'm able to be online for multiple hours every day and on weekends I can be on for even longer. On weekdays though I can't be online from 7:30 am - 3 or 4 pm as I'm at school. I should mention that I do struggle with wifi sometimes due to my location. Though my ping has never been a major issue

Which timezone are you in?

Pacific Standard Time

List your current and past IC/OOC faction applications:

Tutor: Accepted: https://schoolrp.net/threads/enderbubbies-tutor-application.54473/
Police: Denied https://schoolrp.net/threads/enderbubs-police-application.53087/
Police: Denied https://schoolrp.net/threads/enderbubbies-police-application.54030/
As of right now though, I'm not in any factions

What is your motivation for applying?:

I've always been interested in cop work in general. I always found it really interesting to see how cops work and what they do. Next year I will actually be taking a class on forensic science at a job career center! The instructor (aka the teacher) alone has 30 years of law enforcement experience including five years with the Sheriff/Coroner’s Investigative Unit. My uncle is also a 911 operator and works directly with the officers. When I grow older, if the forensic science class goes well, I actually want to become a detective or forensic scientist! I've always wanted to become a cop for KPD and try KPD, it seems super fun to do CopRP and I would love to try it!
I also want to become more involved in the SRP community, I really enjoy the server and would love to be a part of a faction again. As well as it gives me a chance to meet new people, and get a different type of RP style!

What knowledge do you have of Police Work?

When it comes to OOCLY knowledge of police work I don't have a lot. I'm hoping when I take the forensic science class next year I'll learn a lot more about cops and of course forensic science. Though I do have some knowledge of what KPD does. I used to have friends who were in KPD so I learned a few things from watching them and them talking about the job icly, as well as from personal experience and just watching and observing what KPD does

Overall though I feel I have a good amount of experience when it comes to the concept and knowledge of CopRP in general. As well as I feel I have a basic understanding of what KPD does, its items, ranks, and more. And I will, of course, learn a lot more through training, and hands-on work if accepted

Duties:
KPD officers have a decent amount of duties, the main one's front desk duties, patrols, monitoring of court trials or government events, inmateRP, cadet training, etc.

Desk Duties: Most of the time cadets will be assigned to monitor the front desk, as they can't leave the station on their own yet though officers of any rank can monitor the front desk. Front desk duties include things like taking reports, answering questions a citizen may have, and accepting bail money, and that's really it. It's one of the more boring duties as an officer in KPD, though it can still be fun.
Patrols: Patrols can be done by any officer above the patrol officer rank. Depending on the current threat level officers can either go alone on patrols or in groups. Officers will patrol the city or a certain area of the city looking for any crime that could be happening
Court Trials and Government Events: During government events such as court trials, speeches, and stuff like that. Officers are required to stand guard and watch over the situation to ensure nothing goes wrong.
InmateRP: Sometimes when a citizen is arrested they will want to roleplay being in jail. I believe it's up to the arresting officer if they can do this, but I'm not fully sure. InmateRP can include visitations, where the prisoner meets with another citizen. Of course, when this is done it needs to be monitored by an officer. InmateRP can also include the prisoner handling chores. There is a community service list located in the courtyard for prisoners to do. The list includes 4 tasks, and they have to complete at least 3 of them. The tasks include picking up 6 soda cans and putting them in recycling bins, finding and clean the gave of Avel Makovytsai, Feeding the ducks at the pond, and find the lost teddy bear and return it
Cadet Training: This is a task that can only be performed by I believe SGTS+. This task is pretty simple, they are in charge of teaching the cadets basic knowledge of KPD and protocols, as well as physical training

_________________________________________________________________________

Items:
KPD also had a decent amount of items they use on a day-to-day basis. I know a decent amount of the items that KPD uses, though I'll list the main ones that all officers, including cadets, own and use

Taser:
-The taser is used to stun a citizen in the event of them either evading another officer, assaulting another officer, if force isn't working, and more

-The radio can be broken if the citizen has the proper perms to break it. Which are majors and KPS
-Officers use certain radio codes to quickly communicate with each other

Baton:
-The baton is used when an officer needs to use more physical force on an opponent

-Has to action to show the citizen the badge
-Every officer, no matter the rank, has to carry a breathalyzer on them while on duty. Though you can carry it on you while off duty

Though those are the main items that every KPD officer uses, there are some exclusive items that only certain ranks in PD can use and own

Pepper Spray:
-Pepper spray is used to blind the opponent for a certain amount of time
-Cannot be mugged from the officer, even if used against a citizen it doesn't grant mug perms
-Just like every weapon, if in range/combat an officer needs to action and roll to pull out the pepper spray
-Has to action and roll to use it against a citizen
-Unable to K.O.
-When used, the citizen will be blinded. While blinded, all actions are honored against the citizen
-The pepper spray has a range of 7 blocks, it can be used over and over again with no cool down, and blinds the opponent for 2 oocly minutes
-If used against a citizen, the citizen will gain minor perms on them
-Pepper spray can be blocked if the opponent has a gas mask, ballistic mask, or any other mask that covers their eyes.
-Every officer who is Corporal and higher, has to carry pepper spray on them while on duty

Crowbar:
-The crowbar is used to break open doors, trapdoors, chests, and barrels. Its mainly used during raids
-Can be mugged from hands, though the officer has to use the crowbar on citizens or their apartment to grant them mug perms
-Just like every weapon, if in range/combat an officer needs to action and roll to pull out the crowbar

-Rubber bullets can also be used with a Glock
-Every officer who is higher up (Lieutenant, Detective Chief Inpector and above) has to carry a Glock while on duty

_________________________________________________________________________

Ranks:
Finally the ranks. There are a total of 7 main branch ranks, and 4 detective ranks, coming out to a total of 11 KPD ranks. The order goes:
Cadet [-/8]
This is the lowest ranking in KPD. When citizens become police officers for the first time this is the rank they get. Cadets don't have much freedom, they do a large amount of training and stay at the front desk a lot of the time. They also need a patrol officer or higher to escort them on patrols, otherwise, they can't leave the station

Patrol Officer [-/8]
After being promoted to Cadet, you will move up a rank to being a Patrol Officer. Patrol Officers have a bit more freedom in KPD, they are able to patrol alone but it isn't always recommended. They can also take cadet’s out on patrol as well. They can also handle smaller-scale tasks

Corporal [-/4]
After becoming a patrol officer, you can be promoted to Corporal. They are a bit more experienced and can now train other Cadets and monitor their work, under the supervision of Lieutenants and Sergeants. They also can carry out larger-scale tasks

Sergeant [-/4]
After corporal, you can become a Sergeant. They are in charge of supervising some of the lower ranks, as well as monitoring their work to make sure they are completing their tasks well, providing guidance for them, while also completing their own tasks throughout the day. They pretty much just have more control and freedom over KPD

Lieutenant [-/3]
Lieutenants are known as Higher-ups and have access to firearms, like the Glock-17. They can also make orders to lower ranks and ensure they are doing their job efficiently as well as carrying out more intense operations with other officers.

Captain [-/1]
Captains are very similar to Commissioners however they are still watched over by Commissioners as they are of a higher rank, Captains carry out similar operations to Commissioners and this includes carrying out operations supervising the ranks below and handing out orders.

Commissioner [-/1]
This position is the highest rank, they are in charge of the entire Police force and ensure everybody is doing their job to a high standard and everything is done under their control and command

In the main branch of KPD, there can be a total of 19 members in it. While that's the main branch, as mentioned there are ranks for the detective branch as well

Detective Constable [-/3]
The Detective Constable carries out different investigations of a variety, for example, armed assaults, kidnappings, those sorts of things

Detective Inspector [-/4]
This rank carries out investigations and collects evidence on cases by carrying out a variety of jobs, such as taking reports, making arrests as well as other things to push the case forward until it is solved.

Chief Detective Inspector [-/2]
The Chief Detective Inspector makes sure those below them are doing their job correctly and carries out investigations of more serious matters such as murder. They are also considered a higher-up in KPD

Detective Superintendent [-/1]
They carry out a big role and as well as inspecting other ranks below them, they carry out and sometimes lead operations that occur.

In the detective division, there are 10 spots open. In total, KPD consists of 31 different officers
_________________________________________________________________________

Perms:
Perms are also something that should quickly be mentioned. If an officer arrests a player for whatever crime, the citizen will gain major perms on the arresting officer. If the citizen was in a gang the gang will gain majors on the arresting officer, though they have to find out icly who the arresting officer was
Officers are also able to kill another player with a Glock without any perms needed. They can shoot and kill the citizen if the citizen has a weapon or is deemed to be life-threatening to others

Why is Police important to SchoolRP?

Police are very important to any roleplay server that involves crime or gangrp. Without officers controlling and regulating crime in the city, gangrp and criminalrp would be everywhere. It would be hectic and chaotic, and the only thing stopping gangrpers would be other gangrpers. Not just that, but if a citizen was hurt or someone went missing they wouldn't have anyone to go to to make a report. KPD equals out gangrp and without it, it would be a mess

Do you acknowledge that you're subject to being demoted if accepted at any given time?

I do yes

Do you acknowledge that by applying for this role, you are agreeing to be 100% dedicated to the Police Officer role?

100%. If I get accepted I swear I will be on every day and dedicate my time to being an officer for KPD

Do you acknowledge that if training is held whilst you are online, you are needed to attend or you will be punished?

Absolutely, if I'm online or able to get online I will set everything aside and make sure to attend training

Amaya Omori is a 5'5 female with long brown hair and pretty blue eyes. Amaya is a very sweet and caring person. Amaya is considered the "mom" type of person in her friend group. She's very caring for everyone, even the criminals. She believes that most criminals weren't born to be criminals, and instead, they have led down a life of crime which is why she shows them sympathy. Though even then that won't stop her from arresting a criminal or hurting one if needed. She doesn't let others get to her easily in the slightest. Though for the most part, she has a caring and loving demeanor, Amaya knows when to be strict and harsh. She's mature and knows how to handle herself, she's also a quick learner
Amaya Omori Art.png

How does your character act in a professional/casual situation?

Amaya as mentioned is a very friendly person! She's a big people person. She loves interacting with others, hearing about their life, their issues, everything really! In casual situations, she often likes to relax and talk with friends. Due to her family being ex-KPD, and even one being an active higher-up, she knows how an officer should act in professional situations. She keeps a calm and mature demeanor. She keeps a rational mind, not letting her emotions get the best of her. She knows that if she lets her emotions get the best of her she may make the situation worse. She stays on task for however long she is needed to be, making sure to put 100% effort into the work she does

What is their outlook on the idea of co-workers & teamwork?

Amaya believes that with the right co-workers and teamwork, you can get practically anything done. She thinks that you need teamwork, especially in a job like KPD. You need your co-workers and they need you too. If you don't work together, and help each other out you may end up failing and hurting others or yourself. Though some situations can be handled alone, Amaya loves the idea of co-workers and teamwork and welcomes it with open arms!

Do you see yourself as a leader or a follower? Why?

I do see myself as a leader. I know how to act in situations and I would say I have good leadership skills. Though before I would see myself as a good leader, I would need to have good knowledge of what I was leading. You cant be a leader without knowing information about what you're leading! Overall though I do see myself being a good leader. I have good social skills, good leadership skills, I know how to act in professional situations, and more!

BACKSTORY (100+ words)

Childhood:
Amaya Omori was born in Karakura in 1996, her mothing being Azumi Omori. Azumi and Amaya grew up alone together, her father walked out once she found out Azumi was pregnant with Amaya, leaving Azumi a single mother. Their home life wasn't so bad, and Azumi bounced from job to job, working at shops and restaurants to be able to afford a life for Amaya. It wasn't until Amaya was 13 that Azumi was able to join KPD and become one of the newest cadets

Teenager Life:
Once Azumi joined KPD, life went downhill for Amaya a little. Azumi began to fully focus on her work as an officer, not really being there for Amaya. Though Azumi still would pay for shelter for her and Amaya to live in, and pay for grocery trips, Amaya was still alone practically all the time. She had to learn on her own how to cook, and how to take care of herself and the apartment while Azumi was gone. She had to walk herself to school and take complete care of herself. Amaya went through her high school life without a mother figure. From the ages 13-17, Amaya was all alone. Her mother never came home really, she was too busy. Amaya had to get a job at a local restaurant called Larenco so that she could pay rent for the apartment and for food for herself. She would do her own school work, stay after school, and use her free time to discuss with tutors how to improve her work and grades. Amaya had to do everything alone
It wasnt until she turned 18 she chose to move out of her and Azumi’s old place. She hadn't seen Azumi in so long, every time she stopped by the station she wasn't ever there, and she never really heard from her mom either text or call wise. Amaya was lonely, she felt like she had really no one. It wasn't until a girl named “Megumi Nakamura” found Amaya. Megumi quickly became that mother figure for Amaya. Megumi took care of Amaya and gave Amaya shelter, she was there for Amaya. Amaya saw her as a mother. Though that didn't last long either, Megumi was later arrested for possession of illegal weaponry, and assault with a deadly weapon, though Amaya wasn't informed of this. When Amaya went to the police station to make a report about Megumi being “missing”, it was only then she finally saw Azumi.
Azumi and Amaya reconnected, as well as with the help of Azumi Amaya got more connected with more officers in KPD like Mazikeen Smith and other Omori officers.
Once Megumi got out of jail, Amaya spent her time between Azumi and Megumi, seeing them both as mother figures! Life was good for a while again, Amaya got another job at lighting electronics, she got a boyfriend, she reconnected with her mom and her family, she got Megumi back, and life was going well for her!
Though sadly, that would all change. Megumi was secretly a part of Akihito, a criminal organization that worked with the cops. Megumi left the clan which by Akihito's rules, if you leave they can take your pinky or worse. Megumi went into hiding, not even telling Amaya where she went. Amaya searched and searched for Megumi only to find her in her apartment, curled up holding a metal bat. Amaya tried talking to Megumi but Megumi ran away, Amaya pleaded with Megumi, begging her to stay and begging her not to leave. But she did, Megumi ran away to go into hiding once again. Amaya slowly became more disconnected from her family, not a lot of them seemed to really enjoy her presence due to her more childlike nature. She always felt somewhat left out of the family. A month later, she broke up with her boyfriend only for him to track Amaya down, beat her at the docs, and kidnap her. Amaya was kidnapped and tied up, though she was able to call KPD where she was saved, traumatized, but saved nonetheless.
A month later Megumi returned from hiding, promising Amaya she wouldn't leave her again, only to do the exact opposite. Megumi poofed from Karakura without a trace, not even telling Amaya goodbye. Soon after that Azumi left too, and a lot of her family did as well. She was once again slowly, becoming alone

College Life:
Amaya always had a poassion for KPD. She loved what Azumi did, and wanted to become like her. Amaya wanted to become a KPD officer and help the city just like her friends and family. Amaya passed high school and moved out of town to a college that had a Crime and Law program. Amaya spent all 4 years in college working towards getting her master's in Crime and Law, which once at the age of 23, she finally got it. Once she got her master's degree, she moved back to Karakura

Adult Life:
Amaya moved back to Karakura, where she would live alone and jobless for a few years, Though finally at the age of 27, she was able to move into an apartment with her friend. She has no connections to the Omoris anymore, she barely even sees them around. She only sees Juno Omori on patrols sometimes. Megumi returned and ran into Amaya, where Amaya stood up for herself and told Megumi unless she was going to be a good mom, she was to stay out of it. Amaya stayed jobless for a very long time, until her 28th birthday when she finally would choose to apply for KPD after all these years in hopes of following in her mom, family, and friends footsteps

SECTION 2: GENERAL KNOWLEDGE

Can you legally own a pocket knife in Karakura?

No. The pocket knife is an illegal weapon that if found on someone they are to be arrested for minor possession of illegal weaponry, and the knife is to be confiscated

Name 5 medical items that do NOT require a prescription

Cough Syrup
Paracetamol
Birth Control
Surgical Mask
Lactulose

If you see your co-workers physically abusing an inmate, what should you do?

I would first make sure my body cam is up and running, this way there would be video evidence that the co-worker is abusing the inmate. Once I knew the body cam was running I would quickly run up to the co-worker and pull them away from the inmate. If the co-worker began to fight back I would radio for backup so I could have help pulling the co-worker away from the inmate. Once that is done and the co-worker has been pulled away from the inmate I would check the inmate for any injuries. Depending on the injuries I would radio ems to have them help the inmate out. Once I know the inmate is safe and is getting patched up, I would report the situation to a higher-up, making sure to inform them I caught the co-worker on body cam footage so that they would have proof

What should you do if you see your co-worker being assaulted?

I would quickly radio for backup, informing other officers of the location. No matter the number of people attacking my co-worker, you never know who else could be around the area waiting to strike so it's best to have more officers. Once the backup was called I would pull out my taser and yell at the citizen to back away from the office now, or they would be tased. If the citizen backs up and doesn't run I would quickly pin them against the nearest wall, swap positions, pat them down then arrest them for assault against a government official. If the citizen doesn't stop or tries to run ill quickly tase them to ensure they don't get away, and so they stop assaulting my co-worker. I would quickly pat them down and cuff them, then send them to jail for assault against a government official

If there is more than one person then I would wait for the backup to show up before doing anything major. I wouldn't be able to handle a large group of people alone and attempting to handle it alone may result in myself being knocked out or injured

What do you do if you find out that your co-worker is corrupt and is helping criminal organizations?

First I would need to get evidence that the co-worker is corrupt. I would be careful gathering evidence, making sure not to inform the co-worker I'm collecting evidence against them. Seeing how they are already corrupt and working for criminals, we don't know what the co-worker may do to us or the evidence if they find out. Once the evidence was gathered, I would immediately report it to a higher-up

How would you react to a criminal trying to bribe you?

I wouldn't take the bribe at all, no matter what it is. I would then inform the citizen that bribing an officer is illegal. If they kept trying to bribe me, I would fine them or arrest them for attempting to bribe an officer

Thank you for taking the time to read my application! I hope you have an amazing day!!
